본 발명은 진단용 트레이 조립체에 관한 것으로, 보다 상세하게는 알러젠이 코팅된 멤브레인을 수용할 수 있는 진단용 트레이 조립체에 관한 것이다.
시료 내의 성분을 분석하기 위한 진단용 칩은 멤브레인 형태의 고정체 상에 항원 등을 코팅함으로써 제조되는 것이 일반적이다. 이후, 제조된 진단용 칩 상에 코팅된 항원과 분석하고자 하는 시료를 반응시킴으로써 여러 가지 생물학적 정보를 얻어낼 수 있다.

진단용 트레이 조립체
도 1은 본 발명에 따른 진단용 트레이 조립체를 위에서 바라본 모습을 도시한 사시도이고, 도 2는 본 발명에 따른 진단용 트레이 조립체를 아래에서 바라본 모습을 도시한 사시도이다. 도 3은 본 발명에 따른 진단용 트레이 조립체의 구조를 도시한 평면도이고, 도 4는 도 3의 A-A 방향으로 절단한 진단용 트레이 조립체의 구조를 도시한 단면도이다.
도 1 내지 도 4에 도시된 바와 같이 본 발명에 따른 진단용 트레이 조립체(10)는 제1 트레이(100) 및 제2 트레이(200)를 포함한 복수의 트레이들을 포함할 수 있다. 도 1 내지 도 4에는 10개의 트레이들로 구성된 진단용 트레이 조립체(10)가 도시되어 있다. 그러나, 본 발명에 따른 진단용 트레이 조립체(10)의 개수는 도면에 제한되지 않으며, 다양한 개수의 트레이들로 구성될 수 있다.
한편, 제1 트레이(100) 및 제2 트레이(200)에 대한 본 명세서의 설명은 본 발명에 따른 진단용 트레이 조립체(10)를 구성하는 다른 트레이들에도 동일하게 적용될 수 있다.
도 1에 도시된 바와 같이 제1 트레이(100) 및 제2 트레이(200)는 서로 인접한 상태로 병렬로 구비될 수 있다.
또한, 도 1 에는 제1 트레이(100) 및 제2 트레이(200)에 각각 제1 수용부(110)와 제2 수용부(210)가 형성된 모습이 도시되어 있다.
한편, 도 2에 도시된 바와 같이 제1 트레이(100) 및 제2 트레이(200)에는 각각 하방으로 돌출된 형상의 제1 돌출부(120) 및 제2 돌출부(220)가 형성될 수 있다. 이때, 도 1에 도시된 바와 같이 제1 돌출부(120) 및 제2 돌출부(220)의 상부는 하방으로 만입된 구조를 가짐으로써 제1 돌출부(120)와 제2 돌출부(220) 각각의 내부에 공간이 형성될 수 있는데, 이 공간들이 각각 제1 수용부(110) 및 제2 수용부(210)일 수 있다.
본 발명에 따르면 진단용 트레이 조립체(10)는 진단용 트레이 조립체를 구성하는 복수의 트레이들을 서로 연결하는 구성을 더 포함할 수 있다. 즉, 진단용 트레이 조립체(10)는 임의의 두 개의 트레이 사이에 구비되고 일 끝부는 하나의 트레이와 연결되고 타 끝부는 다른 트레이와 연결됨으로써 두 개의 트레이를 서로 연결하는 연결부를 포함할 수 있다. 도 1 내지 도 4에는 일 예로서, 제1 트레이(100)와 제2 트레이(200) 사이에 구비되는 연결부(300)가 도시되어 있다. 즉, 본 발명에 따른 진단용 트레이 조립체(10)는 복수의 트레이가 일정 간격만큼 이격된 상태로 병렬 구비되고, 연결부가 복수의 트레이 사이에 구비됨으로써 복수의 트레이들을 서로 연결하는 구조를 가질 수 있다. 한편 도 1 내지 도 3에 도시된 바와 같이 제1 트레이(100) 및 제2 트레이(200)를 포함하는 복수의 트레이는 연결부(300)에 의해 트레이들의 폭(W) 방향으로 병렬 연결될 수 있다. 따라서, 연결부(300)를 사이에 두고 제2 트레이(200)는 제1 트레이(100)의 폭(W) 방향의 측부에 구비될 수 있다.
본 발명에 따르면 연결부에 의해 트레이들이 서로 연결되므로 진단용 트레이 조립체를 구성하는 트레이들을 시료 반응을 위한 자동화 기기에 한꺼번에 탑재할 수 있다. 따라서, 시료 반응을 위해 트레이들을 자동화 기기에 개별적으로 탑재하는 것과 비교하여 과정 및 시간을 현저하게 줄일 수 있다. 예를 들어, 자동화 기기에 10개의 트레이들을 탑재하는 경우 종래 기술에 따르면, 10개의 트레이들을 하나의 틀에 각각 탑재한 후 그 틀을 다시 자동화 기기에 탑재하는 과정이 필요하지만, 본 발명에 따라 10개의 트레이들이 연결부에 의해 서로 연결된 진단용 트레이 조립체를 제조하는 경우, 자동화 기기에 진단용 트레이 조립체를 한 번만 탑재하면 되므로, 자동화 기기에서의 시료 반응을 위해 필요한 과정 및 시간이 현저하게 줄어들게 된다.
또한, 본 발명에 따르면 자동화 기기에 트레이들을 탑재하는 과정에서 트레이들을 수용하는 별도의 틀이 필요하지 않으므로, 자동화 기기 내부에 틀이 차지하는 공간이 사라지게 되어 자동화 기기 내부 공간의 활용도가 극대화될 수 있다.
한편, 도 1 내지 도 3에 도시된 바와 같이, 본 발명에 따른 트레이 조립체(10)의 복수의 트레이들은 기다란 막대 형상을 가질 수 있다. 예를 들어, 도 3 및 도 4에 도시된 바와 같이 제1 트레이(100)와 제2 트레이(200)는 소정의 폭(W), 소정의 두께(t) 및 소정의 길이(L)를 갖는 기다란 막대 형상을 가질 수 있다. 제1 트레이 및 제2 트레이가 기다란 막대 형상을 갖는다는 것은, 제1 트레이 및 제2 트레이가 폭(W) 및 두께(t)에 비해 상당히 큰 길이(L)를 갖는다는 것으로 해석될 수 있다.
보다 바람직하게, 제1 트레이(100) 및 제2 트레이(200)의 폭(W)에 대한 길이(L)의 비는 10 내지 30의 값을 가질 수 있고, 두께(t)에 대한 길이(L)의 비도 20 내지 40의 값을 가질 수 있다. 한편, 본 발명에 따른 트레이 조립체(10)를 구성하는 복수의 트레이들은 모두 동일한 크기 및 형상을 가질 수 있다. 따라서, 제1 트레이 및 제2 트레이의 폭, 두께 및 길이에 대해 전술한 내용은 트레이 조립체를 구성하는 모든 트레이들에게도 동일하게 적용될 수 있다.계속해서 도 1 내지 도 4를 참고하면, 본 발명에 따른 연결부는 두 개의 트레이 사이에 복수로 구비될 수 있다. 예를 들어, 도 1 내지 도 3에 도시된 바와 같이 제1 트레이(100)와 제2 트레이(200) 사이에 구비된 연결부(300)는 제1 트레이(100) 및 제2 트레이(200)의 상부 영역 및 하부 영역에 각각 하나씩, 총 두 개가 구비될 수 있다. 그러나, 이와 달리 연결부(300)는 제1 트레이(100) 및 제2 트레이(200)의 상부 영역, 가운데 영역 및 하부 영역에 각각 하나씩, 총 3개가 구비될 수도 있다.
한편, 도 5 내지 도 16에 도시된 바와 같이 본 발명에 따른 진단용 트레이 조립체(10)의 연결부(300)에는 연결부의 다른 영역보다 얇은 두께를 갖도록 만입된 형상을 갖는 노치부(300a)가 형성될 수 있다.
본 발명에 따른 진단용 트레이 조립체의 사용 상태에 따라 진단용 트레이 조립체의 트레이들 중 일부를 분리하는 것이 필요할 수 있다. 이때, 연결부(300)에서 상대적으로 얇은 두께를 갖는 노치부(300a)는 연결부(300)의 다른 영역에 비해 파단되기가 쉬우므로 진단용 트레이 조립체의 사용 상태에 따라 진단용 트레이 조립체의 트레이들 중 일부를 용이하게 분리할 수 있다.
도 5 내지 도 8에 도시된 바와 같이 본 발명의 제1 실시예에 따르면, 연결부(300)의 노치부(300a)는 연결부(300)의 길이(L) 방향의 중앙부에 형성될 수 있다. 이때, 노치부(300a)는 도 5 및 도 7에 도시된 바와 같이 연결부(300)의 상면 또는 하면에만 형성될 수도 있고, 도 6 및 도 8에 도시된 바와 같이 연결부(300)의 상면 및 하면 모두에 형성될 수도 있다. 노치부(300a)가 연결부(300)의 상면 또는 하면에만 형성되는 경우에는 연결부(300)의 내구성을 최대한 유지하면서도 필요에 따라 연결부(300)의 절단이 용이하게 이루어질 수 있고, 노치부(300a)가 연결부(300)의 상면 및 하면 모두에 형성되는 경우에는 필요에 따라 연결부(300)의 절단이 최대한 신속하게 이루어질 수 있다.
한편, 본 발명의 제1 실시예에 따른 노치부(300a)의 형상은 도 5 내지 도 6에 도시된 바와 같이 V자 형상을 가질 수 있다. 노치부(300a)가 V자 형상을 갖는 경우에는 노치부(300a)의 형상이 급격히 변하는 'V자'의 골짜기 영역에서 응력 집중(stress concentration)이 발생하게 되므로 필요에 따라 노치부(300a)에서 연결부(300)의 절단이 최대한 신속하게 이루어질 수 있다.
반면, 본 발명의 제1 실시예에 따른 노치부(300a)의 형상은 도 7 내지 도 8에 도시된 바와 같이 U자 형상을 가질 수도 있다. 이때, 'U자 형상'이라는 것은 하부 끝부가 곡선으로 형성되는 것뿐만 아니라, 도 7 및 도 8에 도시된 바와 같이 하부 끝부가 각지게 형성되는 것도 포함하는 개념으로 해석되어야 할 것이다. 노치부(300a)의 형상이 U자 형상을 갖는 경우에는, V자 형상의 경우와 달리 노치부(300a)에서 응력 집중이 상대적으로 적게 일어나거나 일어나지 않게 되므로, 연결부(300)의 내구성을 최대한 유지하면서도 필요에 따라 연결부(300)의 절단이 용이하게 이루어질 수 있다.
한편, 도 9 내지 도 12에 도시된 바와 같이 본 발명의 제2 실시예에 따르면, 연결부(300)의 노치부(300a)는 연결부(300)의 길이(L) 방향의 양끝부에 형성될 수 있다. 즉, 본 발명의 제2 실시예에 따르면 연결부(300)의 노치부(300a)는 제1 트레이(100) 및 제2 트레이(200)와 직접 연결될 수 있다. 이때, 노치부(300a)는 도 9 및 도 11에 도시된 바와 같이 연결부(300)의 상면 또는 하면에만 형성될 수도 있고, 도 10 및 도 12에 도시된 바와 같이 연결부(300)의 상면 및 하면 모두에 형성될 수도 있다. 노치부(300a)가 연결부(300)의 상면 또는 하면에만 형성되는 경우, 그리고, 노치부(300a)가 연결부(300)의 상면 및 하면 모두에 형성되는 경우에 따른 효과는 본 발명의 제1 실시예에 대해 전술한 내용으로 갈음한다.
또한, 본 발명의 제2 실시예에 따른 노치부(300a)의 형상은 도 9 내지 도 10에 도시된 바와 같이 V자 형상을 가지거나, 도 11 내지 도 12에 도시된 바와 같이 U자 형상을 가질 수도 있다. 노치부(300a)의 형상이 V자 형상인 경우, 그리고 U자 형상인 경우에 따른 효과 역시 본 발명의 제1 실시예에 대해 전술한 내용으로 갈음한다.
한편, 도 13 내지 도 16에 도시된 바와 같이 본 발명의 제3 실시예에 따르면, 연결부(300)의 노치부(300a)는 연결부(300)가 제1 트레이(100) 및 제2 트레이(200)와 연결되는 지점으로부터 연결부(300)의 길이(L) 방향의 가운데 방향으로 이격된 영역에 형성될 수 있다. 이때, 노치부(300a)는 도 13 및 도 15에 도시된 바와 같이 연결부(300)의 상면 또는 하면에만 형성될 수도 있고, 도 14 및 도 16에 도시된 바와 같이 연결부(300)의 상면 및 하면 모두에 형성될 수도 있다. 노치부(300a)가 연결부(300)의 상면 또는 하면에만 형성되는 경우, 그리고, 노치부(300a)가 연결부(300)의 상면 및 하면 모두에 형성되는 경우에 따른 효과는 본 발명의 제1 실시예에 대해 전술한 내용으로 갈음한다.
또한, 본 발명의 제3 실시예에 따른 노치부(300a)의 형상 역시 도 13 내지 도 14에 도시된 바와 같이 V자 형상을 가지거나, 도 15 내지 도 16에 도시된 바와 같이 U자 형상을 가질 수도 있다. 노치부(300a)의 형상이 V자 형상인 경우, 그리고 U자 형상인 경우에 따른 효과 역시 본 발명의 제1 실시예에 대해 전술한 내용으로 갈음한다.
한편, 본 발명에 따른 연결부(300)의 상면 및 하면에 노치부(300a)가 형성되는 경우에는, 도 6, 도 8, 도 10, 도 12, 도 14 및 도 16에 도시된 바와 같이 연결부(300)의 하면에 형성되는 노치부는 연결부(300)의 상면에 형성되는 노치부의 위치와 대응되는 위치에 형성될 수 있다. 이 경우, 노치부에서의 연결부(300)의 절단성이 극대화될 수 있다.
그러나, 이와 달리 본 발명에 따른 연결부(300)의 표면은 노치부가 형성되지 않는 평평한 형상을 가질 수도 있다.
한편, 본 발명에 따른 연결부(300)는 트레이들 간의 연결이 유지될 수 있을 정도의 강성을 가지면서도, 사용 상태에 따라 사람의 힘에 의해 절단될 수 있을 정도의 강성을 갖는 재질로 이루어질 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명에 따른 연결부(300)는 연결부(300)의 일 영역에 충격을 가하였을 때, 충격이 가해진 일 영역을 제외한 다른 영역에는 그 충격이 전달되지 않도록 상기 일 영역에 일정 이상 소성 변형이 일어난 후에 파단될 수 있는 정도의 연성 및 취성을 갖는 재질로 이루어질 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명에 따른 연결부(300)는 진단용 칩 내에 구비된 시료와 접촉하더라도 반응이 일어나지 않음으로써, 시료의 진단 결과에 영향을 미치지 않는 생체 적합성(biocompatibility)을 갖는 재질로 이루어질 수 있다.
예를 들어, 본 발명에 따른 연결부(300)는 폴리 카보네이트, 폴리 에틸렌, 폴리 프로필렌 및 ABS로 이루어진 군에서 하나 이상의 물질을 포함할 수 있다. 보다 바람직하게, 연결부(300)는 폴리 카보네이트, 폴리 에틸렌 또는 폴리 프로필렌으로 이루어질 수 있거나, 폴리 카보네이트와 ABS의 혼합물로 이루어질 수 있다. 한편, 본 발명에 따른 진단용 트레이 조립체의 트레이들과 연결부는 서로 동일한 재질일 수 있다. 트레이들과 연결부가 서로 동일한 재질을 갖는 경우, 트레이 조립체의 생산시 효율성이 향상될 수 있다.
보다 바람직하게, 본 발명에 따른 연결부(300)는 ABS 재질로 이루어질 수 있다. 특히, ABS 재질의 경우 폴리 프로필렌 등과 비교하여 연성이 낮고 취성이 높다. 따라서, 연결부(300)가 이러한 ABS 재질로 이루어지는 경우, 사용자의 요구에 맞게 연결부(300)를 쉽게 절단할 수 있으므로, 트레이들 간의 분리가 용이하게 이루어질 수 있다.
특히, 전술한 바와 같이 본 발명에 따른 트레이 조립체에서 제1 트레이 및 제2 트레이를 포함하는 복수의 트레이는 각각 기다란 막대 형상을 가질 수 있는데, 기다란 막대 형상을 갖는 복수의 트레이들이 ABS 재질을 갖는 연결부(300)에 의해 트레이들의 폭(W, 도 3 및 도 4 참조) 방향으로 연결되는 경우 사용자의 요구에 따른 트레이들 간의 분리의 용이성이 현저하게 극대화될 수 있다.
즉, 본 발명에 따르면, (i) 트레이 조립체를 구성하는 복수의 트레이들이 연결부에 의해 트레이들의 폭 방향으로(즉, 1차원적으로) 병렬 연결되므로, 트레이들을 분리하기 위해서는 트레이들의 폭 방향을 따라 형성된 연결부만 절단하면 된다. 따라서, 복수의 트레이들이 트레이들의 폭 방향 뿐만 아니라 두께 방향 또는 길이 방향으로(즉, 2차원적으로) 병렬 연결되는 경우와 비교하여 트레이들의 분리가 훨씬 용이하게 이루어질 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명에 따르면, (ii) 트레이들을 연결하는 연결부가 연성이 낮고 취성이 강한 ABS 재질로 이루어지므로, 사용자가 큰 힘을 들이지 않고도 연결부를 파단할 수 있다. 따라서, 연결부가 ABS 재질이 아닌 다른 재질로 이루어진 경우와 비교하여 트레이들의 분리가 훨씬 용이하게 이루어질 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명에 따르면, (iii) 트레이 조립체를 구성하는 복수의 트레이들이 각각 기다란 막대 형상을 가지므로, 사용자가 트레이를 손으로 쉽게 쥔 상태에서 연결부를 파단할 수 있다. 따라서, 트레이들이 기다란 막대 형상이 아닌, 폭과 두께와 길이 간의 차이가 크지 않은 직육면체 형상을 갖는 경우와 비교하여 트레이들의 분리가 훨씬 용이하게 이루어질 수 있다.
한편, 본 발명에 따른 연결부(300)는 트레이 조립체(10)를 구성하는 트레이들(100, 200)과 동일한 재질로 이루어질 수 있다. 이 경우, 본 발명에 따른 트레이 조립체를 제조하는데 필요한 재료의 종류 및 공정이 최소화될 수 있다.
그러나, 이와 달리 본 발명에 따른 연결부(300)는 트레이 조립체(10)를 구성하는 트레이들(100, 200)과 상이한 재질로 이루어질 수 있다. 이 경우, 트레이들(100, 200)과 연결부(300) 사이에 서로 경계가 생기므로, 사용 상태에 따라 사람이 연결부에 힘을 가하여 연결부(300)를 절단할 때 트레이들(100, 200)에는 충격이 가해지지 않게 된다. 따라서, 연결부(300)를 절단하는 과정에서 발생할 수 있는 트레이들(100, 200)의 손상 문제를 해결할 수 있다.
한편, 본 발명에 따른 진단용 트레이 조립체는 알러지 진단용 트레이 조립체일 수 있다. 즉, 본 발명은 트레이 내에 항원 등 알러지를 유발하는 물질, 즉, 알러젠(allergen)이 코팅된 멤브레인이 구비됨으로써 알러지 유무를 진단할 수 있는 알러지 진단 분야에 적용될 수 있다.
또한, 전술한 바와 같이 제1 트레이(100) 및 제2 트레이(200)의 폭(W)에 대한 길이(L)의 비는 10 내지 30의 값을 가질 수 있는데, 상기 폭(W)에 대한 길이(L)의 비가 10 미만인 경우에는 트레이 내에 구비되는 멤브레인에 코팅되는 알러젠의 수가 제한적일 수 밖에 없으므로, 진단용 트레이의 고집적화 구현이 불가능할 수 있다. 반면, 상기 폭(W)에 대한 길이(L)의 비가 30을 초과하는 경우에는 트레이의 길이가 상대적으로 너무 길어지게 되므로 트레이의 품질에 문제가 발생할 수 있다. 예를 들어, 상기 폭(W)에 대한 길이(L)의 비가 30을 초과하는 경우, 트레이가 일자 형상을 유지하지 못하고 휘어지는 등의 문제가 발생할 수 있다. 따라서, 같이 제1 트레이(100) 및 제2 트레이(200)의 폭(W)에 대한 길이(L)의 비가 10 내지 30의 값을 갖는다는 것은 단순한 선택 사항이 아닌, 임계적 의의를 갖는 것이라고 볼 수 있다.
이상에서 본 발명은 비록 한정된 실시예와 도면에 의해 설명되었으나, 본 발명은 이것에 의해 한정되지 않으며, 본 발명이 속하는 기술분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자에 의해 본 발명의 기술사상과 아래에 기재될 특허청구범위의 균등범위 내에서 다양한 실시가 가능함은 물론이다.

  1. 진단용 멤브레인이 수용될 수 있는 수용부가 각각 형성되고 서로 병렬로 구비되는 제1 트레이와 제2 트레이; 및
    상기 제1 트레이와 상기 제2 트레이 사이에 구비되고 일끝부는 상기 제1 트레이와 연결되고 타끝부는 상기 제2 트레이와 연결되는 연결부; 를 포함하고,
    상기 제1 트레이 및 상기 제2 트레이는 각각 소정의 폭(W), 소정의 두께(t) 및 소정의 길이(L)를 갖는 기다란 막대 형상을 가지고,
    상기 연결부를 사이에 두고 상기 제2 트레이는 상기 제1 트레이의 상기 폭(W) 방향의 측부에 구비되고,
    상기 연결부는 ABS로 이루어지는 진단용 트레이 조립체.
