 特許文献1の作業車両では、シフトボタンによって設定された車速が低・中速度領域では、エンジンの回転速度をハイアイドル回転速度よりも低いパーシャル回転速度に設定する。それにより、エンジンが低回転速度で制御される。

 エンジンが低回転速度で制御される場合、燃費の向上が見込まれる一方で、操作性が低下する虞がある。例えば、作業車両では、同じ低速での走行であっても、作業機によって作業しながら走行する場合と、作業機による作業なしで走行する場合とでは、作業車両にかかる負荷が異なる。作業車両に大きな負荷が掛かっているときに、エンジンが過度に低い回転速度で制御されると、エンジンの出力馬力が不足して操作性が低下する虞がある。
 本発明の目的は、作業車両においてエンジンが低回転速度で制御されることにより燃費を向上させながら、操作性の低下を抑えることにある。
 第1の態様は、作業車両であって、エンジンと、油圧ポンプと、油圧モータと、コントローラとを備える。油圧ポンプは、エンジンによって駆動される。油圧モータは、油圧ポンプから吐出された作動油によって駆動されることで車両を走行させる。コントローラは、エンジンの回転速度と油圧ポンプの容量とを制御する。コントローラは、車両の牽引力を取得する。コントローラは、牽引力の減少に応じてエンジンの回転速度を低速側に変化させる。
 第2の態様は、作業車両の制御方法である。作業車両は、エンジンと、エンジンによって駆動される油圧ポンプと、油圧ポンプから吐出された作動油によって駆動されることで車両を走行させる油圧モータとを備える。当該方法は、以下の処理を備える。第1の処理は、車両の牽引力を取得することである。第2の処理は、エンジンの回転速度と油圧ポンプの容量とを制御することである。第3の処理は、牽引力の減少に応じてエンジンの回転速度を低速側に変化させる。
 本発明によれば、作業車両において低回転速度でエンジンを制御することにより燃費を向上させながら、操作性の低下を抑えることができる。

 以下、図面を参照して実施形態にかかる作業車両1について説明する。図1は、作業車両1の側面図である。本実施形態において作業車両1は、ブルドーザである。作業車両1は、車体2と、走行装置3と、作業機4とを含む。車体2は、運転室11とエンジン室12とを含む。エンジン室12は、運転室11の前方に配置されている。走行装置3は、車体2の下部に取り付けられている。走行装置3は、左右一対の履帯13を含む。なお、図1では、左側の履帯13のみが図示されている。履帯13が回転することによって、作業車両1が走行する。
 作業機4は、車体2に取り付けられている。作業機4は、リフトフレーム14とブレード15とを有する。リフトフレーム14は、上下に動作可能に車体2に取り付けられている。リフトフレーム14は、ブレード15を支持している。ブレード15は、車体2の前方に配置されている。作業車両1は、リフトシリンダ16と、チルトシリンダ17と、アングルシリンダ18とを備えている。リフトシリンダ16と、チルトシリンダ17と、アングルシリンダ18とは、作業機4に接続されている。
 詳細には、リフトシリンダ16は、車体2とリフトフレーム14とに連結されている。リフトシリンダ16が伸縮することによって、ブレード15が上下に動作(以下、「リフト動作」と呼ぶ)する。チルトシリンダ17は、リフトフレーム14とブレード15とに連結されている。チルトシリンダ17が伸縮することによって、ブレード15の左右の端部が上下に動作してブレード15が傾動(以下、「チルト動作」と呼ぶ)する。アングルシリンダ18は、リフトフレーム14とブレード15とに連結されている。アングルシリンダ18が伸縮することによって、ブレード15の左右の端部が前後に動作してブレード15が傾動する(以下、「アングル動作」と呼ぶ)。
 図2及び図3は、作業車両1の構成を示すブロック図である。図2及び図3に示すように、作業車両1は、エンジン21と、作業機ポンプ22と、作業機制御弁23と、HST24(Hydro Static Transmission)と、コントローラ25とを備えている。
 エンジン21は、例えばディーゼルエンジンなどの内燃機関である。エンジン21には、燃料噴射装置26が接続されている。燃料噴射装置26からの燃料の噴射量が調整されることにより、エンジン21の出力が制御される。燃料噴射量の調整は、燃料噴射装置26がコントローラ25によって制御されることで行われる。エンジン21の回転速度は、エンジン速度センサ27によって検出される。エンジン速度センサ27は、エンジン21の回転速度を示す検出信号をコントローラ25に送る。
 作業機ポンプ22は、可変容量型の油圧ポンプである。作業機ポンプ22は、エンジン21に接続されている。作業機ポンプ22は、エンジン21によって駆動され、作動油を吐出する。作業機ポンプ22から吐出された作動油は、作業機制御弁23を介して油圧アクチュエータ10に供給される。油圧アクチュエータ10は、上述したリフトシリンダ16と、チルトシリンダ17と、アングルシリンダ18とを含み、作業機ポンプ22から吐出された作動油によって駆動される。
 作業機ポンプ22には、作業機ポンプ制御装置31が接続されている。作業機ポンプ制御装置31は、コントローラ25からの指令信号に応じて、作業機ポンプ22の容量を制御する。作業機ポンプ制御装置31は、作業機ポンプ22の傾転角を変更することで、作業機ポンプ22の容量を変更する。作業機ポンプ制御装置31は、例えばサーボピストンと制御弁とを含む。制御弁から供給される作動油によってサーボピストンが動作することで、作業機ポンプ22の傾転角が変更される。なお、容量とは、ポンプの1回転あたりの作動油の吐出量を意味している。
 作業機制御弁23は、油圧回路を介して、油圧アクチュエータ10と作業機ポンプ22とに接続されている。作業機ポンプ22から吐出された作動油は、作業機制御弁23を介して、油圧アクチュエータ10に供給される。作業機制御弁23は、コントローラ25からの指令信号に応じて、作業機ポンプ22から、油圧アクチュエータ10に供給される作動油の流量を制御する。なお、作業機制御弁23は、パイロット油圧を供給されることで、制御されてもよい。
 HST24は、エンジン21の駆動力を走行装置3に伝達する。HST24は、走行ポンプ32と、走行モータ33と、駆動油圧回路34とを含む。走行ポンプ32は、可変容量型の油圧ポンプである。走行ポンプ32は、エンジン21に接続されている。走行ポンプ32は、エンジン21によって駆動され、作動油を吐出する。走行ポンプ32と走行モータ33とは、駆動油圧回路34によって接続されている。走行ポンプ32から吐出された作動油は、駆動油圧回路34を介して、走行モータ33に供給される。
 走行ポンプ32には、走行ポンプ制御装置35が接続されている。走行ポンプ制御装置35は、コントローラ25からの指令信号に応じて、走行ポンプ32の容量を制御する。走行ポンプ制御装置35は、走行ポンプ32の傾転角を変更することで、走行ポンプ32の容量を変更する。走行ポンプ制御装置35は、例えばサーボピストンと制御弁とを含む。制御弁から供給される作動油によってサーボピストンが動作することで、走行ポンプ32の傾転角が変更される。
 走行モータ33は、油圧モータであり、走行ポンプ32から吐出された作動油によって駆動される。走行モータ33は、ドライブ軸36を介して、上述した走行装置3に接続されている。走行モータ33は、走行装置3を駆動することで作業車両1を走行させる。HST24には、車速センサ37が設けられている。車速センサ37は、車速を検出する。車速センサ37は、例えば、ドライブ軸36の回転速度を検出することにより、車速を検出する。車速センサ37は、車速を示す検出信号をコントローラ25に送る。
 走行モータ33には、走行モータ制御装置38が接続されている。走行モータ制御装置38は、コントローラ25からの指令信号に応じて、走行モータ33の容量を制御する。走行モータ制御装置38は、走行モータ33の傾転角を変更することで、走行モータ33の容量を変更する。走行モータ制御装置38は、例えばサーボピストンと制御弁とを含む。制御弁から供給される作動油によってサーボピストンが動作することで、走行モータ33の傾転角が変更される。
 駆動油圧回路34は、第1駆動回路41と第2駆動回路42とを有する。作動油が、走行ポンプ32から第1駆動回路41を介して走行モータ33に供給されることにより、走行モータ33が一方向(例えば、前進方向)に駆動される。作動油が、走行ポンプ32から第2駆動回路42を介して走行モータ33に供給されることにより、走行モータ33が他方向(例えば、後進方向)に駆動される。
 駆動油圧回路34には、油圧センサ43,44が設けられている。油圧センサ43,44は、第1駆動回路41又は第2駆動回路42を介して走行モータ33に供給される作動油の圧力(以下、「HST圧」)を検出する。油圧センサ43,44は、HST圧を示す検出信号をコントローラ25に送る。なお、後述するように、コントローラ25は、油圧センサ43,44が検出したHST圧と、走行モータ33の容量とから、作業車両1の牽引力を算出する。従って、油圧センサ43,44は、作業車両1の牽引力を検出するセンサに相当する。
 図3に示すように、作業車両1は、作業機操作部材45と走行操作部材46とを備えている。作業機操作部材45と走行操作部材46とは、運転室11に配置されている。作業機操作部材45は、例えば作業機レバーであり、作業機4を操作するための部材である。作業機操作部材45は、ブレード15のリフト動作、チルト動作、及びアングル動作のための操作位置に手動で操作可能である。作業機操作部材45は、作業機4を駆動するためのオペレータによる操作を受け付け、操作に応じた操作信号を出力する。
 走行操作部材46は、例えば走行レバーであり、走行装置3を操作するための部材である。走行操作部材46は、前進位置と後進位置と中立位置とに手動で操作可能である。走行操作部材46は、作業車両1を走行させるためのオペレータによる操作を受け付け、操作に応じた操作信号を出力する。作業機操作部材45の操作信号と走行操作部材46の操作信号とは、コントローラ25に出力される。なお、作業機操作部材45と走行操作部材46とは、レバーに限らず、ペダル、スイッチ等の他の部材であってもよい。
 作業車両1は、回転速度設定部材28を備えている。回転速度設定部材28は、運転室11に配置されている。回転速度設定部材28は、エンジン21の目標回転速度を設定するための部材である。回転速度設定部材28は、例えばダイヤル状の部材であり、手動で操作可能に設けられている。ただし、回転速度設定部材28は、レバー、ペダル、或いはスイッチなどの他の部材であってもよい。回転速度設定部材28は、回転速度設定部材28の操作量を示す操作信号をコントローラ25に送る。コントローラ25は、回転速度設定部材28の操作量に応じた目標回転速度を設定する。例えば、操作量は、最大操作量に対する割合で示される。
 作業車両1は、車速設定部材29を備えている。車速設定部材29は、運転室11に配置されている。車速設定部材29は、作業車両1の設定車速を設定するための部材である。設定車速とは、無負荷時の車速を意味する。言い換えれば、設定車速は、車速設定部材29によって設定される変速段における最高車速に相当する。車速設定部材29は、例えばシフトアップボタンとシフトダウンボタンとを含み、手動で操作可能に設けられている。シフトアップボタンが押されることで、設定車速が高くなり、シフトダウンボタンが押されることで、設定車速が低くなる。ただし、車速設定部材29は、レバー、ペダル、或いはスイッチなどの他の部材であってもよい。コントローラ25は、車速設定部材29の操作に応じて設定車速を決定する。
 コントローラ25は、取得したデータに基づいて作業車両1を制御するようにプログラムされている。コントローラ25は、プロセッサ51とメモリ52とを含む。プロセッサ51は、例えばCPUであり、エンジン21を制御するための処理を実行する。メモリ52は、例えば揮発性メモリと不揮発性メモリとを含む。メモリ52は、プロセッサ51によって実行可能であり、エンジン21を制御するためのコンピュータ指令を記録している。なお、コントローラ25は、複数のコントローラによって構成されてもよい。例えば、コントローラ25は、エンジン21用のコントローラと、ポンプ22,32用のコントローラとを含んでもよい。
 コントローラ25は、作業機操作部材45と走行操作部材46とから操作信号を取得する。コントローラ25は、作業機操作部材45からの操作信号に応じて作業機制御弁23を制御することで、作業機4を動作させる。また、コントローラ25は、走行操作部材46からの操作信号に応じて、エンジン21とHST24とを制御することで、作業車両1を走行させる。コントローラ25は、燃料噴射装置26を制御することにより、エンジン21の出力トルクと回転速度とを制御する。コントローラ25は、走行ポンプ制御装置35を制御することにより、走行ポンプ32の容量を制御する。コントローラ25は、走行モータ制御装置38を制御することにより、走行モータ33の容量を制御する。
 なお、作業機操作部材45と走行操作部材46とは、電気的な操作信号に限らず、操作に応じたパイロット油圧を出力してもよい。その場合、コントローラ25は、油圧センサによって作業機操作部材45と走行操作部材46とからのパイロット油圧を検出し、パイロット油圧を示す操作信号を取得してもよい。
 コントローラ25は、エンジン21の出力トルクと走行ポンプ32の吸収トルクとがマッチングするようにエンジン21の回転速度と走行ポンプ32の容量とを制御する。コントローラ25によるエンジン21の回転速度と走行ポンプ32の容量との制御は、通常マッチング制御と可変マッチング制御とを含む。
 通常マッチング制御では、コントローラ25は、エンジン21の回転速度が、回転速度設定部材28によって設定された目標回転速度に維持されるように、負荷に応じてエンジン21での燃料噴射量を制御する。コントローラ25は、エンジン21の目標回転速度と実際の回転速度との差を低減するように、燃料噴射量を増減する。以下、通常マッチング制御について説明する。
 図4は、通常マッチング制御におけるエンジントルク特性D1の一例を示す図である。エンジントルク特性D1はデータ化されて、コントローラ25に記憶されている。エンジントルク特性D1は、最大トルクラインLmaxとレギュレーションラインLrとを含む。最大トルクラインLmaxで示される領域は、エンジン21の回転速度と、各回転速度においてエンジン21が出力できるトルクの上限との関係を示す。
 レギュレーションラインLrは、回転速度設定部材28によって設定された目標回転速度に応じて決定される。図4において、Lr100は、回転速度設定部材28の操作量が最大操作量(100%)であるときのレギュレーションラインLrを示している。レギュレーションラインLr100では、目標回転速度はハイアイドル回転速度Nmaxである。
 コントローラ25は、回転速度設定部材28によって設定された目標回転速度が小さくなるほど、レギュレーションラインを低速側に変化させる。例えば、図4においてLr80は、回転速度設定部材28の操作量が第1操作量(例えば80%)であるときのレギュレーションラインLrを示している。レギュレーションラインLr80では、目標回転速度は、ハイアイドル回転速度Nmaxより小さい第1回転速度Na80である。Lr60は、回転速度設定部材28の操作量が、第1操作量より小さい第2操作量(例えば60%)であるときのレギュレーションラインLrを示している。レギュレーションラインLr60では、目標回転速度は、第1回転速度Na80より小さい第2回転速度Na60である。
 コントローラ25は、エンジン21の回転速度がエンジン21への負荷に応じてレギュレーションライン上で変化するように、エンジン21を制御する。ここで、エンジン21への負荷は、走行ポンプ32による負荷を意味している。走行ポンプ32は、図4に示すポンプ吸収トルク線D2に従って、エンジン21の回転速度に応じて吸収トルクが変化するように構成されている。ポンプ吸収トルク線D2は、エンジン21の回転速度と走行ポンプ32の吸収トルクとの関係を規定する。ポンプ吸収トルク線D2は、データ化されて、コントローラ25に記憶されている。コントローラ25は、エンジン21の出力トルクと走行ポンプ32の吸収トルクとがエンジントルク特性D1上でマッチングするように、エンジン21と走行ポンプ32とを制御する。
 コントローラ25は、エンジントルク特性D1とポンプ吸収トルク線D2とが交差するマッチング点で、走行ポンプ32の吸収トルクがエンジン21の出力トルクと釣り合うように、走行ポンプ32の目標吸収トルクを決定する。例えば、図4に示すように、目標回転速度が第1回転速度Na80であるときには、レギュレーションラインLr80とポンプ吸収トルク線D2とが交差するマッチング点M80において、走行ポンプ32の吸収トルクがエンジン21の出力トルクと釣り合うように、走行ポンプ32の目標吸収トルクを決定する。
 コントローラ25は、目標吸収トルクとHST圧とから、走行ポンプ32の目標容量を決定する。図5は、走行ポンプ32の容量特性D3の一例を示す図である。走行ポンプ32の容量特性D3は、データ化されて、コントローラ25に記憶されている。なお、走行ポンプ32の容量特性D3は、例えば、数式の形式で示されてもよい。或いは、走行ポンプ32の容量特性D3は、テーブル、或いはマップなどの他の形式で示されてもよい。他の特性及びデータについても同様である。
 走行ポンプ32の容量特性D3は、目標吸収トルクとHST圧と走行ポンプ32の目標容量との関係を規定する。図5に示すように、走行ポンプ32の容量特性D3は、目標吸収トルクが小さいほど、容量特性線D31から容量特性線D34に向かって変化する。走行ポンプ32の容量特性D3では、目標吸収トルクが小さいほど、HST圧と走行ポンプ32の目標容量との積が小さくなる。言い換えれば、走行ポンプ32の容量特性D3では、目標吸収トルクが定まれば、HST圧が増大するほど、走行ポンプ32の目標容量は小さくなる。コントローラ25は、走行ポンプ32の容量特性D3を参照して、目標吸収トルクとHST圧とから、走行ポンプ32の目標容量を決定する。コントローラ25は、走行ポンプ32の目標容量に相当する指令信号を、走行ポンプ制御装置35に送る。それにより、走行ポンプ32の容量が目標容量となるように、走行ポンプ32が制御される。
 コントローラ25は、走行モータ33の容量特性D4を参照して、設定車速から、走行モータ33の目標容量を決定する。図6は、走行モータ33の容量特性D4の一例を示す図である。走行モータ33の容量特性D4は、走行モータ33の目標容量と設定車速との関係を規定する。走行モータ33の容量特性D4は、データ化されており、コントローラ25に記憶されている。
 また、コントローラ25は、HST圧が所定の目標圧力となるように、走行モータ33の目標容量を決定する。コントローラ25は、フィードバック制御により、HST圧が目標圧力になるような走行モータ33の目標容量を決定する。コントローラは、設定車速から決定した目標容量と、HST圧が目標圧力になるように決定した目標容量とのうち大きい方を、走行モータ33への指令目標容量として決定する。コントローラ25は、指令目標容量に相当する指令信号を走行モータ制御装置38に送る。それにより、走行モータ33の容量が指令目標容量となるように、走行モータ33が制御される。
 以上のように、エンジン21と走行ポンプ32と走行モータ33とが制御されることで、作業車両1では、例えば図7に示すように、牽引力と車速とが無段階に変化する牽引力-車速特性が得られる。なお、図7において、V1,V2,V3は、車速設定部材29によって設定される設定車速の例を示している。
 次に、可変マッチング制御について説明する。可変マッチング制御では、コントローラ25は、牽引力の減少に応じてエンジン21の出力トルクと走行ポンプ32の吸収トルクとのマッチング点をエンジン21の回転速度の低速側に変化させる。図8は、可変マッチング制御におけるエンジントルク特性D1の一例を示す図である。
 例えば、図8に示すように、コントローラ25は、牽引力の減少に応じてマッチング点をM1からM4に向かって変更する。コントローラ25は、マッチング点M1-M4が牽引力の減少に応じて、エンジン21の回転速度の低速側、且つ、低トルク側に変化するように、エンジン21の回転速度と走行ポンプ32の容量とを制御する。詳細には、コントローラ25は、牽引力に応じて、エンジントルク特性D1のレギュレーションラインLrと、ポンプ吸収トルク線D2とを変更することで、マッチング点を変化させる。
 図9は、エンジン21の目標回転速度と牽引力との関係を規定する回転速度-牽引力データD5の一例を示す図である。回転速度-牽引力データD5は、コントローラ25に記憶されている。回転速度-牽引力データD5では、少なくとも第1牽引力閾値Fth1と第2牽引力閾値Fth2との間の範囲では、牽引力の減少に応じて目標回転速度は減少する。第2牽引力閾値Fth2は、第1牽引力閾値Fth1よりも大きい。回転速度-牽引力データD5では、牽引力が第2牽引力閾値Fth2より大きいときには、目標回転速度は第1上限速度Na_hiで一定である。第1上限速度Na_hiは、例えばハイアイドル回転速度Nmaxである。ただし、第1上限速度Na_hiは、ハイアイドル回転速度Nmaxと異なる値であってもよい。回転速度-牽引力データD5では、牽引力が第1牽引力閾値Fth1より小さいときには、目標回転速度は第1下限速度Na_lowで一定である。第1下限速度Na_lowは、第1上限速度Na_hiより小さい。
 第1牽引力閾値Fth1と第2牽引力閾値Fth2とは、設定車速に応じて変化する。すなわち、回転速度-牽引力データD5は、設定車速に応じて変化する目標回転速度と牽引力との関係を規定する。図10は、第1牽引力閾値Fth1及び第2牽引力閾値Fth2と、設定車速との関係を規定する牽引力閾値データD6の一例を示す図である。図10に示すように、牽引力閾値データD6は、第1牽引力閾値データD61と第2牽引力閾値データD62とを含む。第1牽引力閾値データD61は、第1牽引力閾値Fth1と設定車速との関係を規定する。第2牽引力閾値データD62は、第2牽引力閾値Fth2と設定車速との関係を規定する。第1牽引力閾値データD61では、設定車速の増大に応じて第1牽引力閾値Fth1が減少する。また、第2牽引力閾値データD62では、設定車速の増大に応じて第2牽引力閾値Fth2が減少する。
 コントローラ25は、第1牽引力閾値データD61を参照して、設定車速から第1牽引力閾値Fth1を決定する。コントローラ25は、第2牽引力閾値データD62を参照して、設定車速から第2牽引力閾値Fth2を決定する。コントローラ25は、回転速度-牽引力データD5を参照して、牽引力から目標回転速度を決定する。コントローラ25は、例えば、走行モータ33の容量とHST圧との積から牽引力を算出する。
 コントローラ25は、目標回転速度に基づいて、レギュレーションラインLrを決定する。上述したように、回転速度-牽引力データD5では、牽引力が第1牽引力閾値Fth1と第2牽引力閾値Fth2との間の範囲では、牽引力の減少に応じて目標回転速度は減少する。従って、コントローラ25は、牽引力が第1牽引力閾値Fth1と第2牽引力閾値Fth2との間の範囲であるときには、牽引力の減少に応じて、レギュレーションラインLrが低回転速度側に変化するように、エンジン21を制御する。
 図11は、基準回転速度と目標回転速度との関係を規定するポンプ回転速度データD7の一例を示す図である。図8に示すように、基準回転速度Nbは、ポンプ吸収トルク線D2において走行ポンプ32の吸収トルクが上限値Tp_maxとなるときのエンジン21の回転速度である。ポンプ吸収トルク線D2では、エンジン21の回転速度が基準回転速度Nb以上であるときに、走行ポンプ32の吸収トルクは上限値Tp_maxで一定となる。ポンプ吸収トルク線D2では、エンジン21の回転速度が基準回転速度Nbより小さいときに、エンジン21の回転速度の減少に応じて、走行ポンプ32の吸収トルクは減少する。
 図11に示すように、ポンプ回転速度データD7では、エンジン21の目標回転速度が少なくとも第1速度閾値Nth1と第2速度閾値Nth2との間の範囲では、目標回転速度の減少に応じて基準回転速度Nbは減少する。第2速度閾値Nth2は、第1速度閾値Nth1よりも大きい。ポンプ回転速度データD7では、目標回転速度が第2速度閾値Nth2より大きいときには、基準回転速度Nbは第2上限速度Nb_hiで一定である。第2上限速度Nb_hiは、例えばハイアイドル回転速度Nmaxである。ただし、第2上限速度Nb_hiは、ハイアイドル回転速度Nmaxと異なる値であってもよい。ポンプ回転速度データD7では、目標回転速度が第1速度閾値Nth1より小さいときには、基準回転速度Nbは第2下限速度Nb_lowで一定である。第2下限速度Nb_lowは、第2上限速度Nb_hiより小さい。
 コントローラ25は、ポンプ回転速度データD7を参照して、目標回転速度から基準回転速度Nbを決定する。ポンプ吸収トルク線D2は、基準回転速度Nbにおいて吸収トルクが上限値Tp_maxであり、基準回転速度Nbより小さい回転速度では、吸収トルクは、回転速度の減少に応じて所定の割合で減少する。従って、コントローラ25は、基準回転速度Nbを決定することで、ポンプ吸収トルク線D2を決定する。上述したように、エンジン21の目標回転速度が少なくとも第1速度閾値Nth1と第2速度閾値Nth2との間の範囲では、目標回転速度の減少に応じて基準回転速度Nbは減少する。従って、コントローラ25は、目標回転速度の減少に応じて基準回転速度Nbを低速側に変化させる。その結果、コントローラ25は、目標回転速度の減少に応じてポンプ吸収トルク線D2がエンジン21の回転速度の低速側に変化するように、走行ポンプ32の容量を制御する。
 コントローラ25は、上記のように決定されたポンプ吸収トルク線D2とレギュレーションラインLrとの交点をマッチング点として決定する。そして、コントローラ25は、マッチング点において、エンジン21の出力トルクと走行ポンプ32の吸収トルクとが釣り合うようにエンジン21の回転速度と走行ポンプ32の容量とを制御する。
 例えば、図8において、コントローラ25は、牽引力がある値であるときに、目標回転速度をNa1に決定し、目標回転速度Na1からレギュレーションラインLr1を決定する。また、コントローラ25は、目標回転速度Na1から基準回転速度Nb1を決定し、基準回転速度Nb1からポンプ吸収トルク線Lp1を決定する。そして、コントローラ25は、レギュレーションラインLr1とポンプ吸収トルク線Lp1との交点をマッチング点M1として決定する。コントローラ25は、マッチング点M1においてエンジン21の出力トルクと走行ポンプ32の吸収トルクとが釣り合うようにエンジン21の回転速度と走行ポンプ32の容量とを制御する。なお、走行ポンプ32の容量の決定方法については、上述した通常マッチング制御と同様である。
 牽引力が減少すると、コントローラ25は、目標回転速度をNa1からNa2,Na3を経て、Na4に順次、減少させる。それにより、コントローラ25は、レギュレーションラインをLr1から、Lr2,Lr3を経て、Lr4に変化させる。また、コントローラ25は、目標回転速度の減少に応じて、ポンプ吸収トルク線D2の基準回転速度NbをNb1から、Nb2,Nb3を経て、Nb4に減少させる。それにより、コントローラ25は、ポンプ吸収トルク線D2をLp1から、Lp2,Lp3を経て、Lp4に変化させる。その結果、マッチング点は、M1から、M2,M3を経て、M4に変化する。
 コントローラ25は、上述した通常マッチング制御と可変マッチング制御とを選択的に実行する。コントローラ25は、可変マッチング制御において決定されたエンジン21の目標回転速度(以下、「第1目標回転速度」と呼ぶ)が、回転速度設定部材28によって設定された目標回転速度(以下、「第2目標回転速度」と呼ぶ)よりも小さいときには、可変マッチング制御にて、エンジン21と走行ポンプ32とを制御する。コントローラ25は、第2目標回転速度が、第1目標回転速度以下であるときには、通常マッチング制御にて、エンジン21と走行ポンプ32とを制御する。従って、コントローラ25は、第1目標回転速度と第2目標回転速度との小さい方をエンジン21の目標回転速度として決定する。
 以上説明した本実施形態に係る作業車両1では、コントローラ25は、牽引力の減少に応じてエンジン21の出力トルクと走行ポンプ32の吸収トルクとのマッチング点をエンジン21の回転速度の低速側、且つ、低トルク側に変化させる。従って、コントローラ25は、作業車両1にかかる負荷が小さいときに、マッチング点をエンジン21の回転速度の低速側に変化させることができる。それにより、燃費を向上させながら、操作性の低下を抑えることができる。
 回転速度-牽引力データD5は、設定車速に応じて変化する目標回転速度と牽引力との関係を規定している。それにより、設定車速と牽引力とに応じて適切な目標回転速度を設定することができる。
 コントローラ25は、第1目標回転速度と第2目標回転速度との小さい方をエンジン21の目標回転速度として決定する。従って、可変マッチング制御によって決定された第1目標回転速度が、オペレータによって設定された第2目標回転速度よりも小さいときには、第1目標回転速度が目標回転速度として決定される。それにより、燃費を向上させることができる。また、オペレータによって設定された第2目標回転速度が、可変マッチング制御によって決定された第1目標回転速度よりも小さいときには、第2目標回転速度が目標回転速度として決定される。それにより、オペレータの意図に合ったエンジン21の出力を得ることができる。
 以上、本発明の一実施形態について説明したが、本発明は上記実施形態に限定されるものではなく、発明の要旨を逸脱しない範囲で種々の変更が可能である。作業車両1は、ブルドーザに限らず、油圧ショベル、ホイールローダ、或いはグレーダなどの他の作業車両1であってもよい。走行装置3は、履帯に限らず、タイヤ等の他の部材を含んでもよい。作業機4は、ブレードに限らず、バケットなどの他の部材を含んでもよい。
 油圧アクチュエータは、上述したリフトシリンダ、チルトシリンダ、アングルシリンダに限らず、他のアクチュエータであってもよい。HSTの構成は上記の実施形態のものに限らず、変更されてもよい。例えば、HSTは、複数の走行モータを有してもよい。HSTは、複数の走行ポンプを有してもよい。
 エンジンの目標回転速度、走行ポンプの目標容量、或いは、走行モータの目標容量の決定方法は、上記の実施形態のものに限らず、変更されてもよい。エンジントルク特性、牽引力-車速特性、ポンプ吸収トルク線、走行ポンプ32の容量特性は、上記の実施形態のものに限らず、変更されてもよい。回転速度-牽引力データ、第1牽引力閾値データ、ポンプ回転速度データは、上記の実施形態のものに限らず、変更されてもよい。
 本発明によれば、作業車両において低回転速度でエンジンを制御することにより燃費を向上させながら、操作性の低下を抑えることができる。

Claims (10)

  1.  エンジンと、
     前記エンジンによって駆動される油圧ポンプと、
     前記油圧ポンプから吐出された作動油によって駆動されることで車両を走行させる油圧モータと、
     前記エンジンの回転速度と前記油圧ポンプの容量とを制御するコントローラと、
    を備え、
     前記コントローラは、
      前記車両の牽引力を取得し、
      前記牽引力の減少に応じて前記エンジンの回転速度を低速側に変化させる、
    作業車両。
     
  2.  前記コントローラは、
      前記エンジンの出力トルクと前記油圧ポンプの吸収トルクとがマッチングするように前記エンジンの回転速度と前記油圧ポンプの容量とを制御し、
      前記車両の牽引力を取得し、
      前記牽引力の減少に応じて前記エンジンの出力トルクと前記油圧ポンプの吸収トルクとのマッチング点を前記エンジンの回転速度の低速側に変化させる可変マッチング制御にて、前記エンジンの回転速度と前記油圧ポンプの容量とを制御する、
    請求項1に記載の作業車両。
     
  3.  前記コントローラは、前記可変マッチング制御において、前記牽引力の減少に応じて前記エンジンの出力トルクと前記油圧ポンプの吸収トルクとのマッチング点が前記エンジンの回転速度の低速側、且つ、低トルク側に変化するように、前記エンジンの回転速度と前記油圧ポンプの容量とを制御する、
    請求項2に記載の作業車両。
  4.  前記コントローラは、
      前記エンジンの出力トルクと前記エンジンの回転速度との関係を規定するレギュレーションラインに従って、前記エンジンの回転速度と前記エンジンの出力トルクとを制御し、
      前記可変マッチング制御において、前記牽引力の減少に応じて、前記レギュレーションラインが低回転速度側に変化するように、前記エンジンを制御する、
    請求項2又は3に記載の作業車両。
  5.  前記レギュレーションラインは、前記エンジンの目標回転速度によって規定され、
     前記コントローラは、
      前記目標回転速度と前記牽引力との関係を規定する回転速度-牽引力データを有し、
      前記可変マッチング制御において、前記回転速度-牽引力データを参照して、前記牽引力から前記目標回転速度を決定する、
    請求項4に記載の作業車両。
  6.  前記コントローラは、車速を取得し、
     前記回転速度-牽引力データは、前記車速に応じて変化する前記目標回転速度と前記牽引力との関係を規定する、
    請求項5に記載の作業車両。
  7.  手動で操作可能に設けられた回転速度設定部材をさらに備え、
     前記コントローラは、
      前記可変マッチング制御において、前記回転速度-牽引力データを参照して前記牽引力から前記エンジンの第1目標回転速度を決定し、
      前記回転速度設定部材によって設定された前記エンジンの第2目標回転速度を取得し、
      前記第1目標回転速度と前記第2目標回転速度との小さい方を前記エンジンの目標回転速度として決定する、
    請求項5又は6に記載の作業車両。
  8.  前記コントローラは、前記エンジンの回転速度と前記油圧ポンプの吸収トルクとの関係を規定するポンプ吸収トルク線に従って、前記エンジンの回転速度に応じて前記吸収トルクが変化するように前記油圧ポンプの容量を制御し、
     前記コントローラは、前記牽引力の減少に応じて前記ポンプ吸収トルク線が前記エンジンの回転速度の低速側に変化するように、前記油圧ポンプの容量を制御する、
    請求項5から7のいずれかに記載の作業車両。
  9.  前記コントローラは、
      前記ポンプ吸収トルク線において前記油圧ポンプの吸収トルクが上限値となるときの前記エンジンの回転速度である基準回転速度と、前記目標回転速度との関係を規定するポンプ回転速度データを有し、
      前記可変マッチング制御において、前記ポンプ回転速度データを参照して、前記目標回転速度から、前記基準回転速度を決定し、
      前記基準回転速度によって規定される前記ポンプ吸収トルク線と、前記レギュレーションラインとの交点において、前記エンジンの出力トルクと前記油圧ポンプの吸収トルクとがマッチングするように前記エンジンの回転速度と前記油圧ポンプの容量とを制御する、
    請求項8に記載の作業車両。
  10.  エンジンと、前記エンジンによって駆動される油圧ポンプと、前記油圧ポンプから吐出された作動油によって駆動されることで車両を走行させる油圧モータとを備える作業車両の制御方法であって、
     前記車両の牽引力を取得することと、
     前記エンジンの回転速度と前記油圧ポンプの容量とを制御することと、
     前記牽引力の減少に応じて前記エンジンの回転速度を低速側に変化させる、
    を備える作業車両の制御方法。
