L'appareil de ramassage de type tiroir, selon un mode de réalisation, comprend : une unité de chargement ayant une partie espace de chargement plane destinée au chargement d'une pluralité de marchandises, et comprenant une pluralité de plateaux de chargement unitaires formés de manière à présenter une structure coulissante, chaque plateau de chargement unitaire étant installé en couches multiples et espacé les uns des autres ; un dispositif de déplacement de plateau de chargement ayant un espace destiné à la réception du plateau de chargement unitaire et conçu pour déplacer sélectivement le plateau de chargement unitaire en coulissant depuis l'unité de chargement ou vers cette dernière ; et un dispositif de ramassage de marchandises destiné au ramassage des marchandises présentes sur le plateau de chargement unitaire déplacé par le dispositif de déplacement de plateau de chargement, ou au chargement des marchandises ramassées sur le plateau de chargement unitaire.
