안테나 구조체 및 이를 포함하는 디스플레이 장치
본 발명은 안테나 구조체 및 이를 포함하는 디스플레이 장치에 관한 것이다. 보다 상세하게는, 전극 및 유전층을 포함하는 안테나 구조체 및 이를 포함하는 디스플레이 장치에 관한 것이다.
최근 정보화 사회가 발전함에 따라 와이 파이(Wi-Fi), 블루투스(Bluetooth) 등과 같은 무선 통신 기술이 디스플레이 장치와 결합되어, 예를 들면 스마트폰 형태로 구현되고 있다. 이 경우, 안테나가 상기 디스플레이 장치에 결합되어 통신 기능이 수행될 수 있다.

본 발명의 실시예들에 따른 안테나 구조체에 있어서, 서로 다른 방사 패턴들에 연결되는 개별 배선들의 길이를 상이하게 조절할 수 있다. 이를 통해 인접한 방사 패턴 사이에 위상차를 형성할 수 있으며, 빔 틸팅(Beam tilting)을 수행할 수 있다. 따라서 안테나의 빔 커버리지(Beam coverage)를 확장할 수 있다.

일부 실시예들에 있어서, 안테나 전극층(120) 및 안테나 그라운드층(130)은 인듐주석 산화물(ITO), 인듐아연 산화물(IZO), 인듐아연주석 산화물(ITZO), 아연 산화물(ZnOx)과 같은 투명 금속 산화물을 포함할 수도 있다.
연성 회로 기판(200)은 안테나 소자(100)와 전기적으로 연결되도록 안테나 전극층(120) 상에 배치될 수 있다. 연성 회로 기판(200)은 코어층(210), 급전 배선(220) 및 급전 그라운드 층(230)을 포함할 수 있다. 코어층(210)의 상면 및 하면 상에는 각각 배선 보호를 위한 상부 커버레이(coverlay) 필름(250) 및 하부 커버레이 필름(240)이 형성될 수 있다.
코어층(210)은 예를 들면, 폴리이미드, 에폭시 수지, 폴리 에스테르, 시클로 올레핀 폴리머(COP), 액정 폴리머(LCP) 등과 같은 유연성을 갖는 수지 물질을 포함할 수 있다.
급전 배선(220)은 예를 들면, 코어층(210)의 저면 상에 배치될 수 있다. 급전 배선(220)은 구동 집적 회로(IC) 칩(280)으로부터 안테나 전극층(120)으로 전력을 분배하는 배선으로 제공될 수 있다.
예시적인 실시예들에 따르면, 급전 배선(220)은 도전성 중개 구조물을 통해 안테나 전극층(120)(예를 들면, 도 2에 도시된 신호 패드(126))과 전기적으로 연결될 수 있다.
상기 도전성 중개 구조물은 예를 들면, 이방성 도전 필름(ACF)으로부터 제조될 수 있다. 이 경우, 상기 도전성 중개 구조물은 수지 층 내에 분산된 도전성 입자(예를 들면, 은 입자, 구리 입자, 카본 입자 등)를 포함할 수 있다.
도 1에 도시된 바와 같이, 안테나 전극층(120) 및 급전 배선(220) 결합 영역에 의해 본딩 영역(BA)이 정의될 수 있다.
예를 들면, 하부 커버레이 필름(240)을 부분적으로 절단 또는 제거하여, 본딩 영역(BA)에 대응되는 사이즈의 급전 배선(220) 부분을 노출시킬 수 있다. 노출된 급전 배선(220) 부분과 안테나 전극층(120)을 가압 본딩하여 본딩 영역(BA)에서의 본딩 구조가 구현될 수 있다. 일부 실시예에 따르면, 급전 배선(220)과 안테나 전극층(120)사이에 상기 도전성 중개 구조물이 개재될 수 있다.
코어층(210)의 상면 상에는 급전 그라운드 층(230)이 배치될 수 있다. 급전 그라운드 층(230)은 라인 형태 또는 플레이트 형태를 가질 수 있다. 급전 그라운드 층(230)은 급전 배선(220)으로부터 발생하는 노이즈 또는 자체 방사를 차폐 또는 억제하는 배리어로 기능할 수 있다.
급전 배선(220) 및 급전 그라운드 층(230)은 안테나 전극층(120)에서 설명한 금속 및/또는 합금을 포함할 수 있다.
일부 실시예들에 있어서, 급전 그라운드 층(230)은 코어층(210)을 관통하는 그라운드 콘택(235)을 통해 안테나 전극층(120)의 그라운드 패드(123, 125)(도 2 참조)와 전기적으로 연결될 수 있다.
일부 실시예들에 따르면, 급전 그라운드 층(230)과 그라운드 패드(123, 125)는 복수의 그라운드 콘택(235) 통해 전기적으로 연결될 수 있다. 그라운드 콘택(235)은 직경이 30㎛ 이상일 수 있으며, 인접한 그라운드 콘택(235) 간의 거리는 상기 직경의 2배 이상일 수 있다. 상기 규격 및 배열을 만족하는 복수의 그라운드 콘택(235)은 급전 그라운드 층(230)과 그라운드 패드(123, 125)의 통전 효율을 크게 향상시킬 수 있다. 따라서, 방사 패턴(122) 또는 급전 배선(220)으로부터 발생하는 노이즈가 효과적으로 제거될 수 있다. 그라운드 콘택(235)은 직경이 200㎛ 이하일 수 있으며, 인접한 그라운드 콘택(235) 간의 거리는 상기 직경의 4배 이하일 수 있다. 보다 바람직하게는, 그라운드 콘택(235)은 직경이 50 내지 100㎛일 수 있으며, 인접한 그라운드 콘택(235) 간의 거리는 상기 직경의 2 내지 3배일 수 있다.
연성 회로 기판(200) 상에는 구동 IC 칩(280)이 배치될 수 있다. 구동 IC 칩(280)으로부터 급전 배선(220)을 통해 안테나 전극층(120)으로 전력이 공급될 수 있다. 예를 들면, 연성 회로 기판(200) 내에는 구동 IC 칩(280)과 급전 배선(220)을 전기적으로 연결시키는 회로 또는 콘택을 더 포함할 수 있다.
도 2는 예시적인 실시예들에 따른 안테나 구조체의 안테나 전극층 구조를 설명하기 위한 개략적인 평면도이다.
도 2를 참조하면, 상술한 바와 같이 도 1에 도시된 안테나 전극층(120)은 방사 패턴(122), 전송 선로(124) 및 패드 전극들을 포함할 수 있다. 상기 패드 전극들은 신호 패드(126) 및 그라운드 패드(123, 125)들을 포함할 수 있다.
전송 선로(124)는 방사 패턴(122)으로부터 분기되어 상기 제1 방향으로 연장할 수 있다. 일 실시예에 있어서, 전송 선로(124)는 방사 패턴(122)과 실질적으로 일체로 연결되어 단일 부재로서 제공될 수 있다.
일부 실시예들에 있어서, 전송 선로(124)의 말단부가 신호 패드(126)로 제공될 수 있다. 상기 그라운드 패드들은 제1 그라운드 패드(123) 및 제2 그라운드 패드(125)를 포함할 수 있다. 제1 그라운드 패드(123) 및 제2 그라운드 패드(125)는 신호 패드(126)를 사이에 두고 서로 상기 제2 방향으로 마주보도록 배치될 수 있다.
평면 방향에서 신호 패드(126) 및 그라운드 패드들(123, 125)을 커버하는 영역이 도 1에서 설명된 연성 회로 기판(200)과 접속이 수행되는 본딩 영역(BA)으로 제공될 수 있다.
일부 실시예들에 있어서, 연성 회로 기판(200)의 급전 배선(220)은 신호 패드(126)와 선택적으로 연결될 수 있으며, 이 경우 본딩 영역(BA)은 도 2에서 신호 패드(126)를 커버하는 영역으로 정의될 수도 있다.
도 3은 예시적인 실시예들에 따라 급전 배선과 방사 패턴이 연결된 모습을 나타내는 개략적인 도면이다.
도 3를 참조하면, 유전층(110) 상면 상에 복수의 방사 패턴(122)이 형성된다. 방사 패턴(122)은 제1 방사 패턴(122a), 제2 방사 패턴(122b), 제3 방사 패턴(122c) 및 제4 방사 패턴(122d)을 포함할 수 있다. 급전 배선(220)은 제1 개별 배선(222), 제2 개별 배선(224), 제3 개별 배선(226) 및 제4 개별 배선(228)을 포함하는 복수의 개별 배선을 포함한다.
예를 들면, 도 3에 도시된 바와 같이, 방사 패턴들(122)은 제2 방향으로 배열될 수 있다. 인접한 방사 패턴(122) 사이의 간격은 제한되지 않으며, 인접한 방사 패턴(122)이 서로 직접 단락되지 않는 간격 범위에서 이격되어 배치될 수 있다. 상기 간격은 상이할 수 있으며, 일정할 수도 있다. 상기 간격이 일정할 경우, 각 방사 패턴(122)들로부터 방출되는 신호 사이의 간섭이 감소하거나 간섭 패턴이 단일화됨으로써 신호 효율이 향상될 수 있다.
일부 실시예들에 있어서, 복수의 방사 패턴(122)은 인접한 방사 패턴(122)끼리 상이한 위상을 가질 수 있다. 인접한 방사 패턴(122) 간의 위상차에 의해 빔의 각도가 틸팅(tilting)될 수 있다. 따라서, 안테나 소자(100)의 빔 커버리지가 확장될 수 있다.
예시적인 실시예들에 있어서, 급전 배선(220)은 복수의 방사 패턴(122)에 각각 연결되는 복수의 개별 배선들을 포함한다. 상기 개별 배선들은 급전 배선(220)의 연결 배선(221a, 221b)으로부터 분기되어 복수의 방사 패턴(122)에 연결되는 각각의 배선들을 의미할 수 있다.
상기 복수의 개별 배선 중 이웃하는 적어도 한 쌍의 개별 배선의 길이는 상이하다. 예를 들면, 도 3에 도시된 바와 같이, 제2 개별 배선(224)에 대하여 제1 개별 배선(222) 및 제3 개별 배선(226)은 상이한 길이를 가질 수 있다. 또한, 제1 개별 배선(222), 제2 개별 배선(224), 제3 개별 배선(226) 및 제4 개별 배선(228)의 길이가 각각 상이할 수 있다.
상기 개별 배선의 길이 차이에 의해 인접한 방사 패턴(122) 각각으로부터 방출되는 신호의 위상에 차이가 발생할 수 있다. 일부 실시예들에 있어서, 상기 위상차는 하기 수학식 1으로 표시될 수 있다.

상기 빔 방향(Beam Direction)은 예를 들면, 안테나 패턴이 지향하는 각도를 의미할 수 있으며, 하기 수학식 2로 표시될 수 있다.

예를 들면, 안테나 간 중심 사이의 거리 d는 λ/2일 수 있다.
따라서, 인접한 개별 배선의 길이 차이를 조절하여 방사 패턴에 위상차를 형성할 수 있으며, 안테나의 빔 틸팅 각도를 변경할 수 있다.
일부 실시예들에 있어서, 급전 배선(220)은 상기 개별 배선들을 소정의 단위로 커플링하는 연결 배선들(221a, 221b)을 포함할 수 있다. 제1 연결 배선(221a)은 제1 개별 배선(222) 및 제2 개별 배선(224)을 커플링할 수 있으며, 제2 연결 배선(221b)은 제3 개별 배선(226) 및 제4 개별 배선(228)을 그룹핑할 수 있다. 제1 연결 배선(221a) 및 제2 연결 배선(221b)은 다시 서로 커플링되어 연결 배선 단위를 형성할 수 있으며, 상기 연결 배선 단위들이 추가적으로 커플링되어 급전 배선(220)을 형성할 수 있다.
예시적인 실시예들에 있어서, 상기 연결 배선들에 의해 이웃하는 2개의 개별 배선들이 연결되어 복수의 급전 단위들이 정의될 수 있다. 예를 들면, 제1 연결 배선(221a)에 의해 커플링된 제1 개별 배선(222) 및 제2 개별 배선(224) 에 의해 제1 급전 단위가 정의될 수 있다. 상기 제1 급전 단위는 예를 들면, 제1 방사 패턴(122a) 및 제2 방사 패턴(122b)과 연결될 수 있다. 같은 방식으로, 제2 연결 배선(221b)에 의해 커플링된 제3 개별 배선(226) 및 제4 개별 배선(228) 에 의해 제2 급전 단위가 정의될 수 있다.
상기 각각의 급전 단위들 내에 포함된 상기 개별 배선들의 길이는 서로 다를 수 있다. 예를 들면, 상기 제1 급전 단위에 포함된 제1 개별 배선(222)과 제2 개별 배선(224)은 길이가 서로 다를 수 있으며, 상기 제2 급전 단위에 포함된 제3 개별 배선(226)과 제4 개별 배선(228)은 길이가 서로 다를 수 있다. 상기 개별 배선들의 길이 차이에 의해 각각의 급전 단위에 포함된 방사 패턴들 사이에 위상차가 생성될 수 있다.
일부 실시예들에 따르면, 서로 다른 급전 단위에 포함된 상기 개별 배선들 중 이웃한 개별 배선들의 길이가 서로 다를 수 있다. 예를 들면, 상기 제1 급전 단위 및 제2 급전 단위에 포함된 개별 배선들 중 이웃하는 제2 개별 배선(224) 및 제3 개별 배선(226)의 길이가 서로 다를 수 있다. 따라서, 각각의 급전 단위 내에서뿐만 아니라 이웃하는 급전 단위 사이에서도 방사 패턴의 위상차가 생성될 수 있다.
예시적인 실시예들에 따르면, 각각의 급전 단위들로부터 생성되는 위상차는 일정할 수 있다. 예를 들면, 제1 급전 단위의 제1 방사 패턴(122a) 및 제2 방사 패턴(122b) 사이의 위상차와 제2 급전 단위의 제3 방사 패턴(122c) 및 제4 방사 패턴(122d) 사이의 위상차는 동일할 수 있다. 상기 "일정" 또는 "동일"은 실질적으로 일정 또는 동일한 것을 포함하며, 예를 들면 ±10%의 오차를 포함할 수 있다.
예시적인 실시예들에 있어서, 상기 인접한 방사 패턴으로부터 방출되는 신호 사이의 위상차는 일정하게 유지될 수 있다. 예를 들면, 제1 방사 패턴(122a) 및 제2 방사 패턴(122b)로부터 방출되는 신호 사이의 위상차는 제2 방사 패턴(122b) 및 제3 방사 패턴(122c)로부터 방출되는 신호 사이의 위상차, 및 제3 방사 패턴(122c) 및 제4 방사 패턴(122d)로부터 방출되는 신호 사이의 위상차와 동일할 수 있다. 상기 위상차를 일정하게 유지할 경우, 빔 틸팅이 보다 효과적으로 수행될 수 있다.
일부 실시예에 따르면, 복수의 방사 패턴(122)은 배열된 방향으로 일정하게 증가하거나 감소하는 위상을 가질 수 있다.
복수의 방사 패턴(122)의 위상이 일정하게 증가하거나 감소할 경우, 인접한 방사 패턴들이 각각 커플링되어 빔 형성 각도가 틸팅될 수 있다. 예를 들면, 복수의 방사 패턴(122)들이 전체적으로 커플링되어 빔 형성 각도가 효과적으로 틸팅될 수 있다.
도 7은 예시적인 실시예들에 따른 방사 패턴의 위상차를 나타내는 개략적인 도면이다.
도 7을 참조하면, 본 발명의 예시적인 실시예들에 따른 안테나 구조체에 있어서, 8개의 방사 패턴들의 위상은 가장 우측의 방사 패턴을 기준(Phase 0°)으로 좌측 방향으로 120°씩 증가하는 경향을 가질 수 있다(Phsae 360°는 Phase 0°와 동일). 예를 들면, 이웃하는 방사 패턴들 사이의 위상차가 120°로 일정할 수 있다.
도 8은 도 7의 안테나 구조체의 빔 형성 분포를 나타낸 개략적인 도면이다.
도 8을 참조하면, 도 7의 안테나 구조체의 경우, 빔 형성의 메인 피크가 -40°에서 나타났다. 따라서, 개별 배선의 길이가 동일하여 각 방사 패턴 사이에 위상차가 없는 비교예에 비하여 메인 빔 형성 각도가 40° 틸팅한 것을 알 수 있었다.
일부 실시예에 따르면, 이웃하는 방사 패턴으로부터 방출된 신호 사이의 위상차는 30° 내지 270°일 수 있다. 상기 범위 내에서 안테나 구조체의 빔 커버리지가 효과적으로 확장될 수 있다. 보다 바람직하게는, 상기 위상차는 60° 내지 180°일 수 있다.
상기 각 개별 배선의 단부는 본딩 영역(BA)에서 방사 패턴(122)과 전기적으로 연결될 수 있다. 예를 들면, 본딩 영역(BA)에서의 상기 말단부를 제외한 상기 개별 배선 부분들이 위치하는 영역이 위상 변화 영역(Phase Shift Area, PSA)으로 제공될 수 있다.
일부 실시예들에 따르면, 각각의 급전 단위 내에 포함된 개별 배선들 중 적어도 하나는 복수의 급전 단위들의 배열 방향을 따라 돌출된 굴곡부를 포함할 수 있다. 예를 들면, 상기 굴곡부는 제2 방향으로 돌출될 수 있다. 상기 굴곡부를 복수의 급전 단위들의 배열 방향을 따라 형성함으로써, 예를 들면 안테나 구조체의 길이(제1 방향의 길이)를 증가시키지 않은 채로 개별 배선들 사이에 길이 차이를 형성할 수 있다. 따라서, 안테나 구조체의 사이즈를 감소시킬 수 있다.
일부 실시예들에 있어서, 상기 굴곡부가 형성된 개별 배선과 상기 굴곡부가 형성되지 않은 개별 배선 사이에 길이의 차이가 발생할 수 있다. 예를 들면, 제1 개별 배선(222) 및 제2 개별 배선(224) 사이에 제1 개별 배선(222)의 굴곡부의 길이만큼의 길이 차이가 발생할 수 있다. 또한, 각각 굴곡부가 형성된 한 쌍의 개별 배선들에 있어서, 각 굴곡부의 길이에 따라 개별 배선들에 길이 차이가 발생할 수 있다. 예를 들면 제3 개별 배선(226)의 경우 제4 개별 배선(228)에 비하여 굴곡부의 길이가 길고, 굴곡부의 길이의 차이만큼 개별 배선들 사이에 길이 차이가 발생할 수 있다. 따라서, 전기적 경로에 길이 차이가 발생하여 복수의 방사 패턴(122)에서 방출되는 신호의 위상이 서로 달라질 수 있다.
예시적인 실시예들에 따르면, 상기 복수의 개별 배선 중 적어도 하나는 위상 변화 영역(PSA) 내에서 복수의 방사 패턴(122)이 배열된 방향으로 돌출된 굴곡부를 포함할 수 있다.
예를 들면, 위상 변화 영역(PSA)에 상기 굴곡부를 형성하여 개별 배선의 길이를 조절할 경우, 방사 패턴(122)의 배열 및 사이 간격을 조절 없이, 용이하게 위상차를 조절할 수 있다.
일부 실시예들에 따르면, 상기 개별 배선의 주변에 급전 그라운드 패드가 배치될 수 있다. 상기 급전 그라운드 패드는 상기 개별 배선을 가운데 두고 한 쌍으로 마주보고 배치될 수 있다. 예를 들면, 제2 방향으로 마주보고 형성될 수 있다. 또한, 상기 급전 그라운드 패드는 제3 방향을 기준으로 급전 배선(220) 및 개별 배선들과 동일한 레벨에 배치될 수 있다. 상기 급전 그라운드 패드는 안테나 전극층(120)의 그라운드 패드(123, 125)와 접촉하여 배치될 수 있으며, 그라운드 패드(123, 125)와 일체로 형성될 수 있다. 상기 급전 그라운드 패드는 그라운드 콘택(235)으로 관통될 수 있다. 상기 급전 그라운드 패드에 의해 개별 배선을 통해 제공되는 전기 신호의 노이즈가 효과적으로 감소할 수 있다.
도 4는 일부 예시적인 실시예들에 따른 안테나 구조체를 나타내는 개략적인 단면도이다.
도 4를 참조하면, 연성 회로 기판(200)은 안테나 소자(100a) 아래에 배치될 수도 있다. 예를 들면, 연성 회로 기판(200)은 유전층(110)의 저면측으로 안테나 소자(100a)와 결합될 수 있다.
이 경우, 도 4에 도시된 바와 같이, 급전 배선(220)은 급전 콘택(260)을 통해 안테나 전극층(120a)과 전기적으로 연결될 수 있다. 일부 실시예들에 있어서, 안테나 전극층(120a)은 유전층(110)의 측벽을 따라 굴곡되어 유전층(110)의 저면 상으로 연장될 수 있다. 예를 들면, 안테나 전극층(120a)의 신호 패드가 유전층(110)의 상기 저면 상에 배치되며, 이에 따라 급전 콘택(260)을 통한 급전 배선(220)과의 연결이 용이하게 구현될 수 있다.
안테나 전극층(120a)의 그라운드 패드 역시 유전층(110)의 측면을 따라 굴곡되어 유전층(110)의 상기 저면 까지 연장되며, 연성 회로 기판(200)의 급전 그라운드 층(230)과 전기적으로 연결될 수 있다. 일 실시예에 있어서, 유전층(110)의 상기 저면으로 연장된 그라운드 패드 부분은 안테나 그라운드 층(130a)과 일체로 연결될 수 있다.
도 5는 일부 예시적인 실시예들에 따른 안테나 구조체의 안테나 전극층 구조를 설명하기 위한 개략적인 평면도이다.
도 5를 참조하면, 안테나 전극층(120)은 메쉬 구조를 포함할 수도 있다. 도 5에 도시된 바와 같이, 방사 패턴(122), 전송 선로(124), 신호 패드(126) 및 그라운드 패드(123, 125)들 모두 메쉬 구조를 포함할 수 있다.
일부 실시예들에 있어서, 저항 증가에 따른 신호 손실을 방지하기 위해 신호 패드(126) 및 그라운드 패드(123, 125)들은 속이 찬(solid) 패턴으로 형성될 수도 있다.
안테나 전극층(120)이 상기 메쉬 구조를 포함함에 따라 안테나 소자(100)의 투과율이 향상될 수 있다. 일부 실시예들에 있어서, 안테나 전극층(120) 주변에는 더미 메쉬 층(129)이 배치될 수 있다. 더미 메쉬 층(129)으로 안테나 전극층(120) 주변(예를 들면, 방사 패턴(122) 주변)의 전극 배열을 균일화하여 안테나 전극층(120)이 디스플레이 장치의 사용자에게 시인되는 것을 방지할 수 있다.
예를 들면, 메쉬 금속 층이 유전층(110) 상에 형성되고, 상기 메쉬 금속 층이 소정의 영역을 따라 식각되어 더미 메쉬 층(129)을 방사 패턴(122), 전송 선로(124) 등으로부터 전기적, 물리적으로 이격시킬 수 있다.
도 6은 예시적인 실시예들에 따른 디스플레이 장치를 나타내는 개략적인 평면도이다. 예를 들면, 도 6은 디스플레이 장치의 윈도우를 포함하는 외부 형상을 도시하고 있다.
도 6을 참조하면, 디스플레이 장치(300)는 표시 영역(310) 및 주변 영역(320)을 포함할 수 있다. 주변 영역(320)은 예를 들면, 표시 영역(310)의 양 측부 및/또는 양 단부에 배치될 수 있다.
일부 실시예들에 있어서, 상술한 안테나 구조체에 포함되는 안테나 소자(100)는 디스플레이 장치(300)의 주변 영역(320)에 패치 형태로 삽입될 수 있다. 일부 실시예들에 있어서, 안테나 소자(100)의 패드 전극들(123, 125, 126)은 디스플레이 장치(300)의 주변 영역(320)에 대응되도록 배치될 수 있다.
주변 영역(320)은 예를 들면, 화상 표시 장치의 차광부 또는 베젤부에 해당될 수 있다. 예시적인 실시예들에 따르면 상기 안테나 구조체의 연성 회로 기판(200)은 주변 영역(320)에 배치되어 디스플레이 장치(300)의 표시 영역(310)에서의 이미지 저하를 방지할 수 있다.
또한, 주변 영역(320)에는 구동 IC 칩(280)이 함께 배치될 수 있다. 안테나 소자(100)의 패드 전극들(123, 125, 126)을 주변 영역(320) 내에서 연성 회로 기판(200) 및 구동 IC 칩(280)과 인접하도록 배치함으로써, 신호 송수신 경로를 단축시켜 신호 손실을 억제할 수 있다.
안테나 소자(100)의 방사 패턴(122)들은 표시 영역(310)과 적어도 부분적으로 중첩될 수 있다. 예를 들면, 도 5에 도시된 바와 같이 메쉬 구조를 활용하여 방사 패턴(122)이 사용자에게 시인되는 것을 감소시킬 수 있다.

Claims (20)

  1. 유전층, 및 상기 유전층의 상면 상에 배치되며 복수의 방사 패턴들을 포함하는 안테나 전극층을 포함하는 안테나 소자; 및
    상기 방사 패턴과 전기적으로 연결된 급전 배선을 포함하는 연성 회로 기판을 포함하고,
    상기 급전 배선은 상기 복수의 방사 패턴들 각각에 연결되는 개별 배선들을 포함하고, 상기 개별 배선들 중 이웃하는 적어도 한 쌍의 개별 배선의 길이가 서로 다른, 안테나 구조체.
  2. 청구항 1에 있어서, 상기 급전 배선은 상기 개별 배선들을 소정의 단위로 커플링하는 연결 배선들을 더 포함하는, 안테나 구조체.
  3. 청구항 2에 있어서, 상기 연결 배선들에 의해 이웃하는 개별 배선들이 연결되어 복수의 급전 단위들이 정의되며, 각각의 상기 급전 단위들 내에 포함된 상기 개별 배선들의 길이가 서로 다른, 안테나 구조체.
  4. 청구항 3에 있어서, 서로 다른 급전 단위에 포함된 상기 개별 배선들 중 이웃한 개별 배선들의 길이가 서로 다른, 안테나 구조체.
  5. 청구항 3에 있어서, 상기 급전 단위에 연결된 방사 패턴들 사이에 위상차가 생성되며, 각각의 상기 급전 단위들로부터 생성된 위상차는 일정한, 안테나 구조체.
  6. 청구항 5에 있어서, 상기 서로 다른 급전 단위에 포함된 상기 개별 배선들 중 이웃한 개별 배선들에 의해 위상차가 생성되며, 상기 위상차는 상기 급전 단위들로부터 생성된 위상차와 동일하고,
    상기 복수의 방사 패턴들은 그 배열 방향을 따라 일정하게 증가 또는 감소하는 위상을 갖는, 안테나 구조체.
  7. 청구항 3에 있어서, 각각의 상기 급전 단위 내에 포함된 상기 개별 배선들 중 적어도 하나는 상기 복수의 급전 단위들의 배열 방향을 따라 돌출된 굴곡부를 포함하는, 안테나 구조체.
  8. 청구항 1에 있어서, 상기 안테나 전극층은 상기 방사 패턴과 전기적으로 연결된 신호 패드를 더 포함하며,
    상기 급전 배선은 상기 신호 패드와 전기적으로 연결되는, 안테나 구조체.
  9. 청구항 8에 있어서, 상기 연성 회로 기판은 코어층, 및 상기 코어층의 상면에 배치된 급전 그라운드 층을 더 포함하며,
    상기 급전 배선은 상기 코어층의 하면 상에 배치되는, 안테나 구조체.
  10. 청구항 9에 있어서, 상기 안테나 전극층은 상기 신호 패드 주변에 배치된 그라운드 패드를 더 포함하며,
    상기 연성 회로 기판의 상기 급전 그라운드 층은 상기 그라운드 패드와 전기적으로 연결되는, 안테나 구조체.
  11. 청구항 10에 있어서, 상기 급전 그라운드 층과 상기 그라운드 패드를 전기적으로 연결시키는 그라운드 콘택을 더 포함하는, 안테나 구조체.
  12. 청구항 1에 있어서, 상기 연성 회로 기판은 상기 안테나 소자의 상기 안테나 전극층 위에 배치되는, 안테나 구조체.
  13. 청구항 1에 있어서, 상기 연성 회로 기판은 상기 안테나 소자의 유전층의 저면 아래에 배치되는, 안테나 구조체.
  14. 청구항 13에 있어서, 상기 안테나 전극층은 상기 유전층의 측벽을 따라 굴곡되어 상기 저면 상으로 연장하는, 안테나 구조체.
  15. 청구항 14에 있어서, 상기 연성 회로 기판은 상기 안테나 전극층 및 상기 급전 배선을 전기적으로 연결시키는 급전 콘택을 더 포함하는, 안테나 구조체.
  16. 청구항 1에 있어서, 상기 안테나 소자는 상기 유전층의 저면 상에 배치되는 안테나 그라운드 층을 더 포함하는, 안테나 구조체.
  17. 청구항 1에 있어서, 상기 연성 회로 기판 상에 배치되며 상기 급전 배선을 통해 상기 안테나 전극층에 전력을 공급하는 구동 집적 회로 칩을 더 포함하는, 안테나 구조체.
  18. 청구항 1에 있어서, 상기 안테나 전극층은 메쉬 구조를 포함하는, 안테나 구조체.
  19. 청구항 18에 있어서, 상기 안테나 소자는 상기 안테나 전극층 주변에 배치되는 더미 메쉬 층을 더 포함하는, 안테나 구조체.
  20. 청구항 1에 따른 안테나 구조체를 포함하는, 디스플레이 장치.
