Description

ゴルフクラブ用ヘッドカバー
　本発明は、ゴルフクラブ用ヘッドカバーに関する。
　従来、未使用時のゴルフクラブ（例えば、ウッド、アイアン、ユーティリティー、パター等）のヘッドを保護するためのゴルフクラブ用ヘッドカバーが知られている（例えば、特許文献１）。
　特許文献１に記載されたゴルフクラブ用ヘッドカバーは、ゴルフクラブのヘッドを入れる本体袋部と、ヘッドが挿入された後に本体袋部の開口部を閉じるように本体袋部に係止可能なベロ部と、を備えており、ヘッドを開口部から本体袋部に挿入した後にベロ部を本体袋部に係止させることによって、ゴルフクラブ用ヘッドカバーをヘッドに取り付けるようになっている。
実用新案登録第３１１４４６０号公報
　特許文献１に記載された技術では、ゴルフクラブ用ヘッドカバーをヘッドに取り付けた場合に、開口部の周縁部に設けられたシャフト貫通部からゴルフクラブのシャフトが突出するようになっている。ところで、ゴルフクラブには、例えばセンターシャフトのパターや右利き用又は左利き用のＬ字型パター等のように、ヘッドに対するシャフトの位置が異なる様々なタイプが存在する。しかしながら、特許文献１に記載されたゴルフクラブ用ヘッドカバーは、ヘッドの収納空間及びシャフト貫通部の各々の位置が固定されているので、これらの位置に対応するヘッド及びシャフトを有するゴルフクラブにしか取り付けることができず、これ以外のタイプのゴルフクラブに取り付けることが困難であった。
　本発明は上記課題に鑑みてなされたものであり、ヘッドに対するシャフトの位置が異なる様々なタイプのゴルフクラブのヘッドに容易に取り付けることの可能なゴルフクラブ用ヘッドカバーを提供することを目的とする。
　上記課題を解決するために、本発明は、ゴルフクラブのヘッドを収容するように形成されたカバー本体であって、前記ヘッドを収容した状態で前記ゴルフクラブのシャフトを外部に突出させる開口を有するカバー本体と、前記開口を開閉する蓋部と、前記蓋部の周縁部を前記開口の周縁部に密着するように取付けるための取付手段であって、前記開口から突出する前記シャフトの位置に応じて、前記開口の周縁部に対する前記蓋部の周縁部の密着位置が変動するように構成された取付手段と、を備える、ゴルフクラブ用ヘッドカバーを提供する（発明１）。
　かかる発明（発明１）によれば、開口の周縁部に対する蓋部の周縁部の密着位置を、開口から突出するシャフトの位置に応じて変動させることが可能になるので、例えば、或るタイプのゴルフクラブのヘッドがカバー本体に収容されている場合であっても、蓋部の周縁部を、当該ゴルフクラブのシャフトの位置に応じて密着位置が変動した状態で開口の周縁部に取り付けることができる。したがって、ヘッドに対するシャフトの位置が異なる様々なタイプのゴルフクラブのヘッドに容易に取り付けることができる。
　上記発明（発明１）においては、前記取付手段は、前記蓋部の周縁部及び前記開口の周縁部のうち一方に設けられた第１磁石と、前記蓋部の周縁部及び前記開口の周縁部のうち他方に設けられた、前記第１磁石と引き合う第２磁石又は磁性体と、から構成されてもよい（発明２）。
　かかる発明（発明２）によれば、第１磁石と第２磁石又は磁性体との間の引き合う磁力によって、蓋部の周縁部を開口の周縁部に密着するように取り付けることができる。
　上記発明（発明１～２）においては、前記開口は、前記シャフトの延在方向と略直交する方向に開口するように形成されてもよい（発明３）。
　かかる発明（発明３）によれば、例えば開口がシャフトの延在方向と同じ方向に開口するように形成されている場合と比較して、蓋部を、シャフトに遮られないように開口の周縁部に取り付けることができる。
　上記発明（発明１～３）においては、前記ゴルフクラブ用ヘッドカバーはパター用ヘッドカバーであってもよい（発明４）。
　上述したように、パターは、例えばセンターシャフトのパターや右利き用又は左利き用のＬ字型パター等のように、ヘッドに対するシャフトの位置が異なる様々なタイプが存在する。かかる発明（発明４）によれば、例えば、センターシャフトのパター、右利き用のＬ字型パター、及び、左利き用のＬ字型パター等の各々のヘッドに容易に取り付けることができる。

　図１に示すように、本実施形態に係るヘッドカバー１０は、ゴルフクラブ（例えば、ウッド、アイアン、ユーティリティー、パター等）のヘッドＨを保護するものであり、当該ヘッドＨを収容するための収容空間が長さ方向（図中Ｙ方向）に延在するように形成された袋状のカバー本体１１と、蓋部１２と、を備えている。蓋部１２は、ヘッドＨを収容空間内に挿入するためにカバー本体１１の長さ方向一端側に形成された開口１１ａを開閉するようになっている。
　また、カバー本体１１の開口１１ａの周縁部及び蓋部１２の周縁部には、蓋部１２の周縁部を開口１１ａの周縁部に密着するように取付けるための複数の第１磁石１３及び複数の第２磁石１４（図２～図４に示す）が設けられている。ここで、複数の第１磁石１３及び複数の第２磁石１４は、本発明の「取付手段」の一例である。
　なお、本実施形態において、蓋部１２は、カバー本体１１の開口１１ａの周縁部においてカバー本体１１と一体に形成されている。また、本実施形態では、ヘッドカバー１０が、パター（例えば、マレット型のパター等）用ヘッドカバーである場合を一例として説明する。
　カバー本体１１は、内部の収容空間においてヘッドＨを収容可能な形状及びサイズ（幅（図中Ｘ方向の寸法）、長さ（図中Ｙ方向の寸法）及び高さ（図中Ｚ方向の寸法））を有している。なお、カバー本体１１は、ヘッドＨのみを収容するように形成されてもよいし、ヘッドＨのみでなくゴルフクラブのネック（図示省略）やシャフトＳの付け根部分（ヘッドＨ側の部分）も収容可能に形成されてもよい。
　開口１１ａの幅（図中Ｘ方向の寸法）及び高さ（図中Ｚ方向の寸法）は、ヘッドＨを挿通可能な寸法に形成されている。なお、本実施形態では、ゴルフクラブのヘッドＨがカバー本体１１内の収容空間に収容されると、当該ゴルフクラブのシャフトＳが開口１１ａからカバー本体１１の外部に突出するようになっている。ここで、開口１１ａは、シャフトＳの延在方向（図中Ｚ方向）と略直交する方向（図中Ｙ方向）に開口するように形成されてもよい。これにより、例えば開口１１ａがシャフトＳの延在方向と同じ方向（図中Ｚ方向）に開口するように形成されている場合と比較して、蓋部１２を、シャフトＳに遮られないように開口１１ａの周縁部に取り付けることができる。
　蓋部１２は、周縁部を開口１１ａの周縁部に取付可能な形状及びサイズを有している。なお、本実施形態では、図１に示すように、蓋部１２が平板状に形成されている場合を一例として説明するが、この場合に限られない。例えば、蓋部１２には、ゴルフクラブのヘッドＨの一部を収容可能な凹部が形成されていてもよい。
　カバー本体１１及び蓋部１２の素材としては、例えば緩衝性を有する素材（例えば、皮革、合成皮革、布、不織布、ニット等）が挙げられるが、これに限定されない。また、カバー本体１１は、外側と内側で異なる素材（例えば、外側が合成皮革、内側が起毛布等）によって形成されてもよいし、ヘッドＨの保護効果を高めるために、外側の素材と内側の素材との間に例えばクッション材が設けられてもよい。
　カバー本体１１の開口１１ａの周縁部には、図２（ａ）～（ｂ）に示すように、複数の第１磁石１３が間隔をおいて設けられている。第１磁石１３の数や磁力は、例えば蓋部１２の開閉操作の容易性等に応じて適宜設定されてもよい。
　また、蓋部１２の周縁部には、複数の第１磁石１３の各々と引き合う複数の第２磁石１４が設けられている。複数の第２磁石１４の各々は、図３（ａ）～（ｂ）に示すように、開口１１ａを閉じるように蓋部１２を開口１１ａの周縁部に取り付けた場合に、複数の第１磁石１３の各々と対向する位置に設けられている。これにより、複数の第１磁石１３と複数の第２磁石１４との間の引き合う磁力によって、蓋部１２の周縁部を開口１１ａの周縁部に密着するように取り付けることができる。なお、複数の第２磁石１４の数や磁力は、第１磁石１３と同様に適宜設定されてもよい。
　本実施形態では、複数の第１磁石１３の各々及び複数の第２磁石１４の各々が間隔をおいて設けられていることにより、後述するように、開口１１ａから突出するシャフトＳの位置に応じて、開口１１ａの周縁部に対する蓋部１２の周縁部の密着位置が変動するようになっている。
　以上のように構成されたヘッドカバー１０をゴルフクラブのヘッドＨに取り付ける方法について説明する。先ず、図１及び図２（ａ）～（ｂ）に示すように開口１１ａが開いている場合に、ゴルフクラブのヘッドＨを開口１１ａからカバー本体１１内に挿入する。ここで、ゴルフクラブのヘッドＨは、ゴルフクラブのシャフトＳが開口１１ａの開口方向（図中Ｙ方向）と略直交する方向（図中Ｚ方向）に延在する状態でカバー本体１１内に挿入される。
　次に、図３（ａ）～（ｂ）に示すように、開口１１ａを閉じるように蓋部１２を移動させると、蓋部１２の周縁部に設けられた複数の第２磁石１４が、開口１１ａの周縁部に設けられた複数の第１磁石１３と引き合うことにより、蓋部１２の周縁部が開口１１ａの周縁部に密着するように蓋部１２が開口１１ａの周縁部に取り付けられる。
　ここで、図４（ａ）に示すように、開口１１ａの周縁部及び蓋部１２の周縁部のうちシャフトＳが介在する箇所では開口１１ａの周縁部及び蓋部１２の周縁部が密着していないが、他の箇所では複数の第２磁石１４が複数の第１磁石１３と引き合うことによって開口１１ａの周縁部及び蓋部１２の周縁部が密着しているので、蓋部１２が開口１１ａの周縁部から簡単に取り外されるのを抑制することができ、ヘッドカバー１０をゴルフクラブのヘッドＨに安定して取り付けることができる。
　また、図４（ｂ）に示すように、ヘッドＨに対するシャフトＳの位置が異なる他のタイプのゴルフクラブにヘッドカバー１０を取り付ける場合であっても、開口１１ａの周縁部及び蓋部１２の周縁部のうちシャフトＳが介在する箇所が図４（ａ）の場合と異なるものの、他の箇所では複数の第２磁石１４が複数の第１磁石１３と引き合うことによって開口１１ａの周縁部及び蓋部１２の周縁部が密着している（つまり、図４（ａ）の場合と比較して、密着位置が変動している）ので、蓋部１２が開口１１ａの周縁部から簡単に取り外されるのを抑制することができ、ヘッドカバー１０をゴルフクラブのヘッドＨに安定して取り付けることができる。
　このようにして、本実施形態に係るヘッドカバー１０を、ヘッドＨに対するシャフトＳの位置が異なる様々なタイプのゴルフクラブのヘッドＨに容易に取り付けることができる。
　なお、ヘッドカバー１０をヘッドＨから取り外す場合には、蓋部１２の周縁部を開口１１ａの周縁部から引き離すことによって開口１１ａを開いた状態にして、ヘッドＨをカバー本体１１から取り出す。これにより、ヘッドカバー１０をヘッドＨから容易に取り外すことができる。
　上述したように、本実施形態に係るヘッドカバー１０によれば、開口１１ａの周縁部に対する蓋部１２の周縁部の密着位置を、開口１１ａから突出するシャフトＳの位置に応じて変動させることが可能になるので、例えば、或るタイプのゴルフクラブのヘッドＨがカバー本体１１に収容されている場合であっても、蓋部１２の周縁部を、当該ゴルフクラブのシャフトＳの位置に応じて密着位置が変動した状態で開口１１ａの周縁部に取り付けることができる。したがって、ヘッドＨに対するシャフトＳの位置が異なる様々なタイプのゴルフクラブのヘッドＨに容易に取り付けることができる。
　なお、本実施形態のヘッドカバー１０は、例えばウッド、アイアン、ユーティリティー、パター等のうち何れのゴルフクラブ用であってもよいが、特にパター用ヘッドカバーである場合に、本実施形態の構成を用いることが有効である。すなわち、パターは、例えばセンターシャフトのパターや右利き用又は左利き用のＬ字型パター等のように、ヘッドＨに対するシャフトＳの位置が異なる様々なタイプが存在するものであるが、上述したように、本実施形態のヘッドカバー１０は、例えば、センターシャフトのパター、右利き用のＬ字型パター、及び、左利き用のＬ字型パター等の各々のヘッドＨに容易に取り付けることができるので、パター用ヘッドカバーに本実施形態の構成を用いることが極めて有効である。
　以上説明した実施形態は、本発明の理解を容易にするために記載されたものであって、本発明を限定するために記載されたものではない。したがって、上記実施形態に開示された各要素は、本発明の技術的範囲に属する全ての設計変更や均等物をも含む趣旨である。
　上記実施形態では、複数の第１磁石１３及び複数の第２磁石１４を備える場合を一例として説明したが、この場合に限られない。例えば、複数の第１磁石１３及び複数の第２磁石１４の何れか一方の磁石の代わりに、他方の磁石と引き合う磁性体（例えば鉄板等）が設けられてもよい。
　また、上記実施形態では、複数の第１磁石１３及び複数の第２磁石１４を備える場合を一例として説明したが、第１磁石１３及び／又は第２磁石１４の数は１つであってもよい。この場合、第１磁石１３は開口１１ａの周縁部全体に亘って連続して設けられてもよいし、第２磁石１４は蓋部１２の周縁部全体に亘って連続して設けられてもよい。
　さらに、上記実施形態では、複数の第１磁石１３及び複数の第２磁石１４が取付手段として設けられている場合を一例として説明したが、取付手段は、例えば、面ファスナーであってもよいし、シールであってもよいし、ボタンやフック等であってもよい。
　さらにまた、上記実施形態では、蓋部１２がカバー本体１１と一体に形成されている場合を一例として説明したが、蓋部１２はカバー本体１１と別個に形成されていてもよい。
　また、上記実施形態では、ゴルフクラブのヘッドＨが開口１１ａから挿入されるようにカバー本体１１が形成されている場合を一例として説明したが、例えば、ゴルフクラブのヘッドＨを挿入するためのスリットが開口１１ａとは別にカバー本体１１に設けられてもよい。
　本発明のゴルフクラブ用ヘッドカバーは、ヘッドに対するシャフトの位置が異なる様々なタイプのゴルフクラブのヘッドに容易に取り付けることの可能なゴルフクラブ用ヘッドカバーとして好適に利用することができるので、その産業上の利用可能性は極めて大きい。

Claims (4)

  1. 　ゴルフクラブのヘッドを収容するように形成されたカバー本体であって、前記ヘッドを収容した状態で前記ゴルフクラブのシャフトを外部に突出させる開口を有するカバー本体と、
    　前記開口を開閉する蓋部と、
    　前記蓋部の周縁部を前記開口の周縁部に密着するように取付けるための取付手段であって、前記開口から突出する前記シャフトの位置に応じて、前記開口の周縁部に対する前記蓋部の周縁部の密着位置が変動するように構成された取付手段と、を備える、
    　ゴルフクラブ用ヘッドカバー。
  2. 　前記取付手段は、前記蓋部の周縁部及び前記開口の周縁部のうち一方に設けられた第１磁石と、前記蓋部の周縁部及び前記開口の周縁部のうち他方に設けられた、前記第１磁石と引き合う第２磁石又は磁性体と、から構成されている、請求項１に記載のゴルフクラブ用ヘッドカバー。
  3. 　前記開口は、前記シャフトの延在方向と略直交する方向に開口するように形成されている、請求項１又は２に記載のゴルフクラブ用ヘッドカバー。
  4. 　前記ゴルフクラブ用ヘッドカバーはパター用ヘッドカバーである、請求項１～３の何れかに記載のゴルフクラブ用ヘッドカバー。
