Definitions
- the invention relates to an extension foot cuff with an interface below a heel portion of an L-shaped foot cuff for placement on an operating table with a T-shaped mounting groove and a spring-biased locking pin.
- extension foot cuff DE 20 2010 010 363 U1
- DE 20 2010 010 363 U1 which is used for example in minimally invasive hip surgery, with about a patient's foot rotated by up to 180 ° to the outside and a patient's leg by up to 50 ° ab- or adducted can be taken with the patient's foot firmly and safely and as comfortable as possible in the extension foot cuff or in a padded inner cuff.
- a disadvantage of the known extension foot cuff is that it must be held ambidextrous to their arrangement on an operating table and moved in several directions, which always requires a degree of manual dexterity of an executive person.
- the well-known extension foot cuff offers no ergonomic accessibility due to its L-shaped shell shape, which further complicates the assembly and handling.
- the object of the invention is to provide an extension foot cuff, which can be easily and ergonomically arranged on an operating table, as well as their handling before, during and after an OP further optimized and designed to be safer overall, so that each accidental misuse is safely excluded.
- the interface is formed of a foot cup fixed handle with a rearwardly projecting in the heel direction thereof ball lock pin and a plug-in coupling with a receiving socket for the ball lock pin, wherein the plug-in coupling with the T-shaped mounting groove and the spring-biased locking pin of the known prior art is equipped.
- the plug-in coupling can be arranged on a surgical table, which has only a fraction of the entire extension foot cuff on its own weight and therefore can be made small and handy, so this means no difficulties for an executive person .
- the equipped with the handle foot shell can be handled ergonomically on the handle, the embodiment with a front and a rear handle bar and a connecting handle leads to the fact that the entire lower foot of the foot cup is mechanically optimally reinforced, so that the foot shell in turn a less resilient material, for example, in plastic 3D printing instead of carbon fiber can be made while ensuring that during an operation not even the foot of a person is unintentionally deformed.
- the ball lock pin which protrudes in the extension of the handle from the rear handle in the direction of the heel area, are simply inserted into an unlocking position of locking means in the receiving socket of the plug-in coupling, so as to ensure that the mounting of the extensions Foot cuff can be made extremely simple and ergonomic on an operating table.
- the handle consists of a front handle strut, a rear handle strut and a connecting, spaced below the tillschale extending grip tube which receives as part of a locking means an inner push rod, which extends through the rearwardly projecting ball lock pin extending, which holds via a compression spring and a ball control block locking balls permanently in a radially outwardly depressed position, which lie latched in the inserted in the receiving socket of the plug-in coupling state of the ball lock pin in a ball seat.
- This design of the interface with a handle greatly simplifies the handling of the extension foot cuff with additional increased handling safety, because at the same time a movable via a locking button locking part is mounted on the handle, the functional surfaces with the push rod, the longitudinal movement in the unactuated state of the locking button lock the push rod in a release direction to the rear form-fitting, wherein in the pressed, depressed state of the locking button, the longitudinal movement of the push rod is unlocked and this by engaging the Entriegelungsd Wegers against the spring force of the compression spring in an unlocking position at its opposite end arranged thereon ball control piece and thus the Locking balls is movable.
- the L-shaped foot shell can be solved so quickly and easily from the plug-in coupling with a few targeted handles, with an accidental incorrect operation is excluded because to release the locking means always two handles must be made simultaneously, namely pressing the Entriegelungsd Wegers in the axial direction of the handle tube and pressing the locking button in the radial direction of the handle tube.
- the safety button can be advantageously used simultaneously with the access to the handle tube of the handle so that the foot shell can always be kept safe and ergonomic.
- the unlocking lever is axially in the direction of the handle tube pressed into the front handle strut is arranged and stands out, with its help, the push rod against the spring force of Compression spring can be moved to an unlocked position of the ball control piece.
- the plug-in coupling for the ball lock pin has a receiving socket, which has a functional cone with a cylindrical end in the entry region of the ball locking pin, wherein the blocking cone of the ball locking pin during its insertion into the receiving socket behind the body contour by means of the functional cone, with actuated locking button and actuated unlocking can be moved back and the locking balls are held in a locking position with relieved locking button and unloaded Entriegelungsd Weger by the cylindrical end of the functional cone in position, whereby any existing length tolerances can be compensated advantageous.
- the base shell stabilizing base block for the arrangement of the rear and / or front handle strut, so ripping out of the mechanical connection means from the foot shell safely excluded even with strong lateral load can be.
- 1 is a side view of an extension foot cuff
- FIG. 2 is an exploded view of the extension foot cuff of FIG. 1,
- Fig. 4 is an enlarged sectional view of the securing device in a blocking division of the locking part
- Fig. 5 is an illustration of the article of Fig. 4 in an unlocked position of the locking member.
- the extension foot cuff consists of an L-shaped foot shell 1 for receiving a patient's foot, which is additionally set in a soft and cushioning him inside cuff therein.
- the foot shell 1 is provided with a base block 2 formed thereon, to which a rear grip strut 10 is screwed, just as in the foot ball area a front grip strut 9 is arranged, the two grip struts 9; 10 a handle tube 1 1 carry, which has an inner push rod 12 which has a compression spring 13 in the region of the front handle bar 9, which holds the push rod 12 permanently biased in a locking position of the ball control piece 15 forward, which at the opposite end of the push rod 12 in Rearwardly projecting ball lock pin 7 is arranged and holds the locking balls 14 in the inserted into the plug-in coupling 4 state of the coupling pin 7 against a ball seat 16 of the receiving socket 19 of the rear handle strut 10 pressed.
- a locking member 18 on a locking button 17 which reverses the mechanical locking of the push rod 12 against movement in a release direction upon actuation of the locking button 17, so that the push rod 12 against the unlocking lever 8 against the Locking direction is movable, and the locking balls 14 behind the body contour of the ball locking pin 7 recede can and release this and thus the entire foot shell 1 from the plug-in coupling 4.
- the mechanical lock consists of a through hole 21 in the locking member 18 with an internal dimension which is equal to or slightly larger than the diameter of the push rod 12, which has a radial recess with a frontal abutment surface in the passage area through the locking member 18, located in a locking division is supported against a stop surface 23 of the locking member 18. Only in a radial unlocking direction 22 and axial unlocking moved state of the locking button 17 and the locking member 18 are aligned with the through hole 21 and the outer contour of the push rod 12, so that it is movable via the release lever 8 in an unlocked position.
- the plug-in coupling 4 for the ball lock pin 7 in turn has a receiving socket 19 which has a functional cone 15 with a cylindrical end in the entry region of the ball locking pin 7, the cone part of the locking balls 14 of the ball locking pin 7 during its insertion into the receiving socket 19 of the rear handle strut 10 in the depressed State of the locking button 17 and the Entriegelungsd Wegers 8, behind the body contour of the ball locking pin 7 recede, the locking balls 14 are held in a locking position by the cylindrical end of the functional cone 15 in position.
- This is particularly advantageous because all possible length tolerances in the production, for example, the push rod 12, the coupling pin 7 and the functional cone 15, are compensated by the positive cylindrical locking.
