- a drive part comprises a turbine wheel, which is acted upon by pressurized cleaning fluid and which is coupled via a transmission with an output shaft.
- a cleaning head is rotatably and releasably connected to the output shaft and thus can be driven in rotation by the drive part.
- the cleaning liquid supplied to the turbine wheel can be applied to the object to be cleaned.
- an object in particular a motor vehicle, can be cleaned.
- a cleaning liquid preferably water, which is conveniently mixed with a cleaning chemical, can be applied to the object to be cleaned, and at the same time the article can be mechanically cleaned by means of the rotatable cleaning head.
- Such cleaning devices are used, in particular, as accessories for high-pressure cleaning devices, with the aid of which the cleaning fluid can be pressurized.
- the pressurized cleaning fluid can be supplied to the cleaning device via a pressure line, preferably a pressure hose.
- a pressure line preferably a pressure hose.
- the cleaning head is subject to wear. It is therefore advantageous if the cleaning head can be replaced.
- US Pat. No. 4,461,052 proposes a cleaning device of the type mentioned in the introduction, in which the cleaning head is held interchangeably on the output shaft by means of a connecting screw.
- the connecting screw is surrounded by bristles of the cleaning head and therefore not easily recognizable by the user. When loosening the connection screw, there is a risk of the user coming in contact with the dirt area of the cleaning head. To release the connecting screw, the user requires a tool.
- Object of the present invention is therefore to develop a cleaning device of the type mentioned above such that the cleaning head can be solved in a simpler manner by the output shaft.
- a cleaning device of the aforementioned type according to the invention in that the cleaning device has a release mechanism operable by the user for releasing the rotationally fixed connection between the output shaft and the cleaning head.
- the user If the user wishes to replace the cleaning head, he can actuate the release mechanism in the inventive cleaning device. This has the consequence that the rotationally fixed connection between the output shaft and the cleaning head is released. A special tool for releasing the connection between the output shaft and the cleaning head can thus be omitted, and the user does not necessarily come into contact with the dirt area of the cleaning head when he replaces the cleaning head.

- the at least one locking element is held on the drive part of the cleaning device.
- the at least one locking element is arranged on the cleaning head.

- the at least one latching element which is movable into a release position by means of the release mechanism, is preferably designed as a latching hook.
- the latching hook consists of an elastically deformable material, in particular of an elastically deformable plastic material.
- the latching hook can be deformed so far that it releases the latching connection between the cleaning head and the output shaft.
- the output shaft has, in an advantageous embodiment of the invention, a latching receptacle into which the latching element is immersed in the detent position.
- the latching receptacle is preferably designed as an annular groove, which extends in the circumferential direction at least over a partial region of the output shaft.
- catch hooks which are preferably uniformly distributed over the circumference of the driven shaft, are inserted into the annular groove and can be moved out of their locking position into their release position by actuating the release mechanism.
- the cleaning head can be acted upon by actuating the release mechanism with a release force facing away from the drive part. This makes it possible to separate the cleaning head under the action of the release force of the output shaft, wherein the cleaning head is moved in the direction away from the drive part.
- the release force is aligned coaxially to the axis of rotation of the output shaft. As a result, a tilting of the cleaning head when releasing from the output shaft can be avoided and the cleaning head can be moved relative to the output shaft in the axial direction.

- the determination of the first end of the lever on the drive part can be done for example by means of a screw connection.
- the lever preferably has an elastically bendable lever section between the first lever end and the force-absorbing element.
- the lever By actuating the release mechanism, the lever can be elastically bent in its lever section arranged between the first lever end and the force-applying element, the cleaning head being acted upon by the force-applying element with a release force facing away from the drive part, under the action of which the cleaning head is driven by the output shaft solves.
