Definitions

  • the invention relates to a washing brush for cleaning objects, with a rotatably mounted brush head, which is drivable via a transmission of a drive wheel, which is acted upon with pressurized cleaning liquid.
  • a washing brush according to the preamble of claim 1 is known from the document EP 1175 848A known.
  • Such a washing brush is also from the US-A-4,461,052 known. It is used for cleaning an object, in particular a motor vehicle. With their help, a cleaning liquid, preferably water, to which a chemical may be added to increase the cleaning effect, can be applied to the surface to be cleaned, and at the same time, the surface can be wiped off mechanically by means of the rotatable brush head.
  • the washing brush is used as an accessory for high-pressure cleaning devices, with the aid of which the cleaning fluid can be pressurized. The pressurized cleaning liquid is supplied to the washing brush and directed to the drive wheel, so that this is rotated, wherein the rotational movement can be transmitted via the transmission to the brush head.
  • the cited document US-A-4,461,052 describes a washing brush, in which a planetary gear is used with a drive wheel driven by the sun gear, connected to the brush head rotatable, internally toothed ring gear and with at least one meshing with the sun gear and the ring gear planetary gear.
  • the planetary gear allows a reduction of the rotational speed of the turbine wheel, so that the speed of the Brush head is less than the speed of the pressurized cleaning fluid in rotation staggered drive wheel.
  • Object of the present invention is to develop a washing brush of the type mentioned in such a way that the brush head, a higher torque can be provided at low speed.
  • the transmission comprises two coaxially aligned, internally toothed ring gears, one of the ring gears is rotatably mounted and the other ring gear is stationary, and wherein at least one standing with the drive wheel in operative connection , externally toothed coupling element simultaneously meshes with two ring gears and the two ring gears have a different number of teeth.
  • a gear is used in the washing brush, having two internally toothed ring gears on which the at least one coupling element rolls at the same time.
  • a first ring gear is fixedly arranged, and coaxial with the first ring gear, a second ring gear is rotatably mounted.
  • the two Hohlräd he differ in the number of their teeth. Since the at least one coupling element meshes with both ring gears at the same time, due to the difference in the number of teeth, a difference occurs Rotation of the coupling element to a relative movement of the two ring gears.
  • the rotatable ring gear performs a rotational movement that can be transmitted to the brush head. It has been found that this large reductions can be achieved, while a high torque can be transferred to the brush head.
  • the operative connection between the drive wheel and the coupling element can be configured in many ways.
  • the coupling element may be formed as a gear which is rotatably held on the drive wheel. It is advantageous, however, if the coupling element is in operative connection with the drive wheel via an intermediate gear.
  • the at least one coupling element is designed as a planetary gear, which meshes with a sun gear driven by the drive wheel and with the two ring gears.
  • a first reduction is achieved by using the planetary gear with a sun gear and at least one planetary gear
  • a further reduction is achieved by the use of the two ring gears, which differ in their number of teeth.
  • Planetary gear with a fixed and a rotatable ring gear are known in the art as so-called Wolfrom gear, for example from the published patent application DE 195 25 831 A1 . It has been found that a washing brush with such a tungsten gear allows a particularly effective cleaning of objects, wherein a user can press the washing brush against the surface to be cleaned, without the risk that the rotational movement of the brush head is interrupted. At the same time can be ensured by means of the Wolfrom gear that the brush head rotates only at low speed. This has proved to be advantageous in order to achieve a thorough cleaning of the object, for example a motor vehicle. Due to the achievable low speed is also avoided that cleaning liquid is splashed away from the side of the brush head.
  • the drive wheel is rotated in that it is acted upon by pressurized cleaning fluid.
  • the drive wheel is designed as a turbine wheel.
  • the turbine wheel is integrally connected to the sun gear.
  • the turbine wheel has a rotatably mounted turbine wheel disk which carries the sun gear in alignment with the axis of rotation of the turbine wheel disk and turbine blades are held on its side facing away from the sun gear. The latter are preferably integrally connected to the turbine wheel.
  • the transmission has at least two coupling elements in the form of two diametrically opposed planetary gears.
  • the fixed ring gear is held on a support plate and the rotatable ring gear is held on a cover plate, wherein the two ring gears and the support and the cover plate define a gear chamber receiving the at least one coupling element.
  • the fixed ring gear is integrally connected to the support plate.
  • the fixed ring gear can form in combination with the support plate a trough-shaped receptacle into which the at least one coupling element can be inserted.
  • the rotatable ring gear is integrally connected to the cover plate.
  • the rotatable ring gear can form a gear cover in combination with the cover plate, which engages over the at least one coupling element.
  • the drive wheel is designed as a turbine wheel with a turbine wheel disk.
  • the latter is aligned in a preferred embodiment parallel to the support plate and carries on its side facing away from the support plate, the turbine blades.
  • the turbine wheel slidably rests against the support plate, wherein it is particularly advantageous if the turbine wheel and the support plate interlocking guide elements, such as guide and guide ribs have.
  • This allows a guide of the turbine wheel on the support plate, at the same time a sealing function is achieved in the manner of a labyrinth seal.
  • guide grooves are formed in the support plate into which guide ribs integrally connected to the turbine wheel disk are inserted.
  • the transmission has a coaxial with the two ring gears aligned output shaft which passes through the sun gear and is rotatably connected both with the rotatable ring gear and with the brush head.
  • the rotational movement of the rotatable ring gear can be transmitted to the brush head.
  • the output shaft is held on a cover plate which is rigidly connected to the rotatable ring gear. It is favorable in this case if the ring gear, the cover plate and the output shaft are integrally connected to each other.
  • a particularly high mechanical strength has an advantageous embodiment of the washing brush according to the invention, in which the washing brush comprises a housing having a bottom wall which is parallel to a wall of the transmission and spaced therefrom, wherein the wall and the bottom wall define a drive space axially that picks up the drive wheel.
  • the wall and the bottom wall define a drive space axially that picks up the drive wheel.
  • an axially projecting from the wall and / or the bottom wall annular collar can be used, which has an opening for introducing the cleaning agent in the drive chamber.
  • the wall of the transmission can be configured, for example, as supporting the stationary ring gear supporting plate.
  • the drive wheel is designed as a turbine wheel with arranged in the drive chamber turbine blades.
  • the output shaft engages through the drive space and a passage opening in the bottom wall and can be detachably connected to the brush head in its end area projecting beyond the bottom wall.
  • the brush head can be placed in the axial direction on the projecting beyond the bottom wall end portion of the output shaft.
  • the brush head has a brush disc on which a first and a second set of cleaning bristles are held, wherein the cleaning bristles of the first set are aligned parallel to the axis of rotation of the brush head and the cleaning bristles of the second set at an angle are aligned with the axis of rotation of the brush head. It has been found that the mechanical cleaning effect can be improved by such a design of the bristle head.
  • the brush disc slidably rests against a bottom wall of the housing of the washing brush. It is advantageous if the brush disk and the bottom wall have intermeshing guide elements, for example, a guide rib, which dips into an associated guide groove.
  • the guide rib is preferably arranged on the upper side of the brush disk facing away from the cleaning bristles and emerges in a guide groove formed on the underside in the bottom wall of the housing.
  • washing brush which can be used for example as an accessory for a high-pressure cleaner and can be connected to the high-pressure hose of the high-pressure cleaner.
