- the present invention relates to a linear actuator comprising a housing with an electric motor, which through a transmission drives a spindle unit comprising a spindle with a spindle nut and an adjustment element, typically tubular, driven by the spindle unit, and where the actuator further comprises a rear mounting, typically arranged in a rear end of the housing, and a front mounting in the free end of the adjustment element, and where the rear mounting and the front mounting are equipped with an eye for a pin for mounting of the linear actuator.
- the actuators are typically equipped with a rear mounting in the rear end of the housing and a front mounting in the outer end of the activation element, also known as the inner tube.
- the rear mounting is typically a fork mounting while the front mounting typically is a cylindrical projection with an eye secured to the outer end of the activation element.
- Such an example is shown in EP 662 573 Al to Linak. It is however understood that the type of front and rear mounting can be adapted to the specific structure in which the linear actuator should be incorporated.
- the front and rear mounting shown in the linear actuators of EP 531 247 Al to Linak and EP 0 831 250 A2 to Dana Corporation are thus both a cylindrical projection with an eye.
- the linear actuator of DE 94 04 383.3 Ul to Dewert Antriebs- und Systemtechnik has a fork mounting as both front and rear mounting.
- a loose pin, bolt, shaft, locking ring or the like is inserted into a bracket on the structure in which the linear actuator should be incorporated and led through the eye in the front or rear mounting.
- the purpose of the invention is to provide a linear actuator as described in the preamble, which eases the mounting thereof.
- the front mounting and/or the rear mounting is moulded from plastic, where the pin is moulded as one with the entrance of the eye.
- the pin can simply be loosened with a light knock on the end of the pin and be guided into the eye of the bracket on the structure in which the linear actuator should be mounted.
- the front mounting and/or the rear mounting is a cylindrical projection with an eye.
- the activation element is tubular, and the front mounting is provided in the frontmost free end thereof.
- the activation element with front mounting and pin can be moulded in plastic as one single unit.
- the front mounting and/or the rear mounting is a fork mounting, where the pin likewise is moulded as one with the entrance of the eye in one side of the fork mounting.
- the fork mounting is constructed as an integrated part of the rear part of the housing as the side walls as two flanges are guided past the end wall in the housing, and in the two elongated side walls there is a transverse eye for a pin.

- the front mounting 15 is a fork mounting with a transverse eye 15a for a pin 18 for fixation of the front mounting 15 in the structure in which the linear should be mounted.
- a rear mounting 19 is likewise a fork mounting. This is constructed as an integrated part of the rear half lb of the housing 1 as the side walls as two flanges are guided past the end wall in the housing 1, and in the two elongated side walls there is a transverse eye l9a for a pin 18 for fixation of the rear mounting. With the invention is thus provided a linear actuator which is easier to mount that the previously known constructions of linear actuators.
