Abstract

L'invention concerne une poignée de portière (1) destinée à être montée sur une portière (2) d'un véhicule automobile et un procédé de montage et de démontage d'un cache. La poignée de portière (1) comprend un manchon de préhension (5) comprenant une portion d'extrémité (7) et elle est disposée pour être mobile en rotation entre une position de repos, dans laquelle elle est positionnée sensiblement parallèlement à la portière (2), la portion d'extrémité (7) étant adjacente à la portière (2), et une position ouverte de la portière (2), dans laquelle elle est inclinée par rapport à la portière (2), la portion d'extrémité (7) étant distante de la portière (2). Selon l'invention, le manchon de préhension (5) comprend une portion fixe (43) et un cache (9) amovible par rapport à la portion fixe (43) formant la portion d'extrémité (7) de la poignée de portière (1). Le cache (9) est destiné à recouvrir au moins partiellement une serrure (8) montée sur la portière (2) du véhicule. Le manchon de préhension (5) comprend des moyens de fixation permettant de fixer le cache (9) à la portion fixe (43) du manchon de préhension (5) et de retirer le cache (9) de la portion fixe (43) par un mouvement de translation du cache (9), uniquement lorsque la poignée de portière (1) se trouve dans la position ouverte de la portière (2).
