Description

스마트 벤딩 머신과 이를 이용한 전자상거래 시스템 및 방법
본 발명은 스마트 벤딩 머신(vending machine)과 이를 이용한 전자상거래 시스템 및 방법에 대한 것이다. 보다 상세하게는, 사용자가 벤딩 머신으로부터 음료를 수령하기를 대기하는 시간 동안 벤딩 머신을 이용한 쇼핑이 가능하게 함으로써 간편주문과 당일배송을 실현하는 기술에 대한 것이다.
전세계적으로 커피 문화가 자리잡으면서, 식후에 커피 한 잔을 즐기기 위하여 음료 매장을 찾는 사람들의 모습을 흔하게 볼 수 있다. 그런데, 점심 시간 등 특정 시간대에는 사용자가 많아 매장 대기 시간이 길어지는 경우가 있고, 또는 주변에 매장이 없어 음료를 구매하기 힘든 경우가 있다. 이러한 경우에 음료의 자동 판매기, 즉, 벤딩 머신(vending machine)이 유용하게 활용될 수 있다.
커피 등 음료의 판매를 위한 종래의 벤딩 머신은, 온수탱크와 원료를 내장하고 이를 혼합하여 음료를 제공하는 데에 그치고 있어, 얼음이 포함된 음료는 벤딩 머신을 통해 이용하기 어려웠다. 또한, 최근에는 정보기술의 발전에 힘입어 사용자들의 주된 소비 공간도 오프라인(offine) 매장으로부터 온라인(online)으로 그 영역을 옮겨가고 있는데, 벤딩 머신의 경우에는 동전이나 지폐를 투입하고 음료를 제공받는 종래의 형태에서 눈에 띄는 발전을 보이고 있지 못한 실정이다.
정보기술이 적용된 종래의 벤딩 머신의 예로, 공개실용신안공보 제20-2014-0002156호는 커피 자판기에 모니터를 구비하여 영상 광고를 제공하는 것을 개시한다. 그러나, 공개실용신안공보 제20-2014-0002156호에 개시된 기술은 기저장된 광고를 일방적으로 화면에 노출시키는 것에 불과하므로, 커피를 구매하는 사용자의 사용성에 있어서 기존과 차이가 없으며, 광고를 단순 출력한다고 하여 사용자의 관심이나 추가 구매를 유발하기는 어려운 한계가 있다.
따라서 본 발명은 사용자가 주문한 음료가 준비되기를 기다리는 대기 시간 동안 광고정보를 표시하고, 사용자의 선택에 따라 벤딩 머신에서 바로 주문과 결제까지 수행할 수 있도록 함으로써 간편주문과 당일배송을 실현 가능한 스마트 벤딩 머신(smart vending machine)과 이를 이용한 전자상거래 시스템 및 방법을 제공하는 것을 목적으로 한다.
상기 목적은, 음료 메뉴정보 또는 미리 설정된 광고정보 중 하나 이상을 표시하기 위한 디스플레이 패널; 사용자로부터 입력된 음료의 주문정보에 상응하는 음료를 생성하여 제공하는 음료 제공부; 상기 주문정보가 입력되는 것에 대한 응답으로, 상기 주문정보에 상응하는 음료가 준비되도록 상기 음료 제공부를 제어하며, 상기 음료 제공부에 의하여 음료가 준비되는 시간 동안 상기 광고정보를 표시하도록 상기 디스플레이 패널을 제어하도록 구성된 제어부; 및 상기 디스플레이 패널에 표시된 상기 광고정보에 상응하는 사용자의 구매정보가 입력될 경우, 상기 구매정보를 전자상거래 서버에 전송하도록 구성된 통신부를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 스마트 벤딩 머신에 의해 달성된다.
상기 주문정보 또는 상기 구매정보 중 하나 이상에 상응하는 결제 처리를 수행하도록 구성된 결제부를 더 포함할 수 있다.
상기 제어부는, 상기 음료 메뉴정보가 표시되는 제1 표시형태, 및 상기 광고정보가 표시되는 제2 표시형태 사이를 전환하도록 상기 디스플레이 패널을 제어하도록 더 구성될 수 있다.
상기 제어부는, 상기 음료 제공부에 의한 음료의 준비가 개시되는 것에 대한 응답으로 상기 디스플레이 패널을 상기 제2 표시형태로 전환하도록 더 구성될 수 있다.
상기 제어부는, 상기 음료 메뉴정보 및 배너광고를 하나의 화면상에서 영역을 나누어 표시하며, 상기 배너광고가 선택되는 것에 대한 응답으로 화면상에 상품정보를 표시하도록 상기 디스플레이 패널을 제어하도록 더 구성될 수 있다.
상기 스마트 벤딩 머신은 사용자의 얼굴을 촬영하여 사용자 식별정보를 획득하도록 구성된 카메라를 더 포함하며, 상기 제어부는, 상기 사용자 식별정보를 이용하여 상기 전자상거래 서버를 조회한 결과를 이용하여 상기 광고정보를 생성하도록 더 구성될 수 있다.
한편, 디스플레이 패널을 포함하며, 사용자로부터 입력된 주문정보에 상응하는 음료가 준비되는 시간 동안 미리 설정된 광고정보를 상기 디스플레이 패널에 표시하고, 상기 광고정보에 상응하는 사용자의 구매정보를 입력받도록 구성된 스마트 벤딩 머신; 및 상기 스마트 벤딩 머신으로부터 상기 구매정보를 수신하며, 상기 구매정보에 상응하는 배송지시를 배송자 단말기에 전송하도록 구성된 전자상거래 서버를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 전자상거래 시스템에 의해서도 상기 목적은 달성된다.
상기 전자상거래 서버는 상기 스마트 벤딩 머신으로부터 상기 구매정보에 상응하는 결제정보를 더 수신하도록 구성될 수 있다.
상기 구매정보는 구매상품 정보 및 배송지 정보를 포함한다. 이때, 상기 전자상거래 서버는, 복수 개의 배송자 단말기로부터 주기적으로 상기 배송자 단말기의 위치 정보를 수신하고, 상기 복수 개의 배송자 단말기 중 상기 배송지 정보 및 상기 위치 정보에 기초하여 결정된 인접 배송자 단말기에 상기 배송지시를 전송하도록 더 구성될 수 있다.

본 발명에 따른 스마트 벤딩 머신과 이를 이용한 전자상거래 기술에 의하면, 사용자가 주문한 음료가 준비되기를 기다리는 대기 시간 동안 광고정보를 표시하고, 사용자의 선택에 따라 벤딩 머신에서 바로 상품의 주문과 대금 결제까지 수행할 수 있도록 함으로써 간편주문을 가능하게 하고 사용자의 소비를 촉진할 수 있다.
또한, 본 발명에 따른 스마트 벤딩 머신과 이를 이용한 전자상거래 기술에 의하면, 스마트 벤딩 머신을 통해 수신된 구매정보를, 일정 수량의 상품들을 미리 적재한 배송 차량 내의 배송자 단말기에 전송함으로써, 스마트 벤딩 머신을 통해 주문한 상품이 배송지와 인접한 배송자 단말기에 즉각적으로 전달되어 당일 배송을 실현할 수 있다.
그리고 본 발명에 따른 스마트 벤딩 머신과 이를 이용한 전자상거래 기술에 의하면, 배송자 단말기에 배송을 지시하고 이에 대한 응답으로 수신된 배송정보를 스마트 벤딩 머신에 표시함으로써, 스마트 벤딩 머신을 통해 상품을 구매한 사용자가 배송자 연락처나 예상배송일정 등 배송정보를 스마트 벤딩 머신에서 바로 확인하도록 할 수 있다.

이하, 첨부된 도면을 참조하여 본 발명에 따른 스마트 벤딩 머신과 이를 이용한 전자상거래 시스템 및 방법의 예시적인 실시예들에 대하여 상세히 살펴본다.
도 1 은 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 스마트 벤딩 머신(smart vending machine)을 포함하는 전자상거래 시스템의 구성을 도시한 블록도이며, 도 2는 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 스마트 벤딩 머신의 정면도이다.
도 1 및 도 2를 참조하면, 본 발명의 실시예에 따른 전자상거래 시스템은 스마트 벤딩 머신(1)과, 스마트 벤딩 머신(1)으로부터 구매정보를 수신하여 전자상거래를 실현하기 위한 전자상거래 서버(3)를 포함한다. 스마트 벤딩 머신(1)은 디스플레이 패널(11)을 포함하여, 사용자로부터 주문된 음료가 준비되는 시간 동안 소정의 광고정보를 디스플레이 패널(11)에 표시함으로써 사용자의 구매를 유도한다. 예컨대, 스마트 벤딩 머신(1)은 음료가 준비되는 시간, 즉, 사용자의 대기 시간이 개시될 때 디스플레이 패널(11)의 표시형태를 전환할 수 있다. 사용자가 광고를 보고 상품을 구매할 경우, 사용자의 구매정보는 스마트 벤딩 머신(1)으로부터 전자상거래 서버(3)로 전송된다.
전자상거래 서버(3)는, 스마트 벤딩 머신(1)으로부터 사용자의 구매정보를 수신하고, 이를 기초로 어느 하나의 배송 차량(4)에 상응하는 배송자 단말기에 배송지시를 전송한다. 이를 위하여, 배송 차량(4)은 그날 소진이 예상되는 일정 분량의 상품을 미리 적재한 채로 특정 지역 내를 운행하면서, 배송 차량(4)의 위치 정보를 전자상거래 서버(3)에 주기적으로 전송한다. 전자상거래 서버(3)는, 각각의 배송 차량(4)의 위치와 사용자가 입력한 배송지를 고려하여, 배송지에 가장 인접한 배송 차량(4)에 상응하는 배송자 단말기에 배송지시를 전송한다.
본 발명의 실시예들에 따른 스마트 벤딩 머신(1)과 전자상거래 서버(3) 및 이들을 포함하는 전자상거래 시스템은, 전적으로 하드웨어이거나, 또는 부분적으로 하드웨어이고 부분적으로 소프트웨어인 측면을 가질 수 있다. 예컨대, 스마트 벤딩 머신(1) 및 전자상거래 서버(3)와, 이들에 포함된 각 부(unit)는 특정 형식 및 내용의 데이터를 처리하거나 또는/또한 전자통신 방식으로 주고받기 위한 하드웨어 및 이에 관련된 소프트웨어를 통칭할 수 있다. 본 명세서에서 "부", "모듈", "장치", "단말기", "서버" 또는 "시스템" 등의 용어는 하드웨어 및 해당 하드웨어에 의해 구동되는 소프트웨어의 조합을 지칭하는 것으로 의도된다. 예를 들어, 하드웨어는 CPU 또는 다른 프로세서(processor)를 포함하는 데이터 처리 기기일 수 있다. 또한, 하드웨어에 의해 구동되는 소프트웨어는 실행중인 프로세스, 객체(object), 실행파일(executable), 실행 스레드(thread of execution), 프로그램(program) 등을 지칭할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시예에서, 스마트 벤딩 머신(1)은 디스플레이 패널(11), 제어부(12), 음료 제공부(13) 및 통신부(14)를 포함한다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에서, 스마트 벤딩 머신(1)은 카메라(15)를 더 포함한다. 또한 본 발명의 일 실시예에서, 스마트 벤딩 머신(1)은 결제부(16)를 더 포함한다. 나아가 본 발명의 일 실시예에서, 스마트 벤딩 머신(1)은 감지부(17) 및 온습도 조절기(18)를 더 포함한다. 본 발명의 실시예들에 따른 스마트 벤딩 머신(1)을 구성하는 각각의 부는 단지 스마트 벤딩 머신(1)에 의해 수행되는 동작에 따라 이를 기능적으로 구분한 것일 뿐, 반드시 각각의 부가 서로 물리적으로 구분되는 별개의 장치로 구현되는 것은 아니다.
디스플레이패널(11)은 사용자가 자신이 원하는 음료를 주문할 수 있도록 음료 메뉴정보를 표시하는 기능을 수행하며, 예컨대, 액정표시장치(Liquid Crystal Display; LCD) 등의 표시 수단을 포함한다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에서, 디스플레이패널(11)은 터치 입력이 가능한 터치스크린을 포함하여, 디스플레이패널(11)을 통한 터치 입력 방식으로 사용자의 주문정보를 수신하는 것도 가능하다. 그러나, 다른 실시예에서 주문정보는 다른 방식으로 수신될 수도 있다. 본 명세서에서 주문정보란 구매를 희망하는 음료를 특정하기 위한 임의의 정보로서, 원료의 종류, 원료의 분량 또는 얼음의 분량 중 하나 이상에 대한 정보를 포함할 수 있다.
음료 제공부(13)는, 제어부(12)에 의한 제어에 따라, 사용자의 주문정보에 상응하는 음료를 제공하는 부분이다. 본 발명의 일 실시예에서, 음료 제공부(13)는 추출부(131), 제빙장치(132) 및 컵 기구부(133)를 포함한다.
추출부(131)는 주문정보에 대응하는 음료를 생성하는 부분이다. 예컨대, 추출부(131)는 커피 원두와 같은 원료와 물을 혼합하여 음료를 추출하기 위하여 하나 이상의 원료수용기 및 믹싱(mixing)기 등을 포함할 수 있다. 추출부(131)를 통해 생성된 음료는 컵 기구부(133)를 통해 사용자에게 제공될 수 있다. 제빙장치(132)는 주문정보에 따라 필요할 경우 물을 공급받아 얼음을 생성하는 부분이다. 물 공급을 위하여, 제빙장치(132)는 노즐(미도시) 등을 통해 추출부(131)에 수용된 물통 또는 온수탱크에 연결될 수 있다. 제빙장치(132)에 의한 얼음의 공급 여부 및/또는 얼음의 양은 제어부(12)에 의하여 제어된다. 제빙장치(132)에 의해 공급되는 얼음은 컵 기구부(133)를 통해 사용자에게 제공되는 음료와 혼합된다.
통신부(14)는 사용자의 구매정보를 전자상거래 서버(3)에 전송하는 부분이다. 본 발명의 실시예들에서 디스플레이 패널(1)은 음료의 메뉴정보뿐만 아니라 메뉴정보와 함께 또는 표시형태의 전환에 의하여 소정의 광고정보를 표시하는데, 특히 이러한 광고정보는 사용자가 주문한 음료를 기다리는 대기 시간 동안 표시될 수 있다. 광고를 본 사용자가 광고 상품 또는 그 외 다른 표시 상품에 대한 구매를 결정하면, 통신부(14)는 구매정보를 전자상거래 서버(3)에 전송함으로써 스마트 벤딩 머신(1)을 이용한 간편주문이 실현되도록 한다.
결제부(16)는 사용자가 주문한 음료의 주문정보 또는 사용자가 스마트 벤딩 머신(1)을 통해 간편주문한 구매정보에 대응하는 결제를 수행하는 부분이다. 결제 방식에 따라, 결제부(16)는 신용카드 또는 직불카드로부터 결제정보를 독출할 수 있는 카드리더기를 포함할 수 있다. 또는, 결제부(16)는 사용자의 휴대용 단말기(2)의 화면에 표시된 바코드를 통하여 결제정보를 독출할 수 있는 바코드 리더기를 포함할 수도 있다. 결제정보란, 사용자의 신용카드 번호, 직불카드 번호 또는 계좌 번호 등을 포함할 수 있으나, 이에 한정되는 것은 아니다.
제어부(12)는 전술한 다른 기능부들을 제어함으로써 사용자의 음료 주문에 따른 음료의 제공 및 결제 처리가 이루어질 수 있도록 한다. 즉, 제어부(12)는, 디스플레이패널(11)을 통해 주문정보가 수신되는 것에 대한 응답으로, 주문된 음료가 준비되도록 음료 제공부(13)를 제어한다. 이때, 제어부(12)는, 음료 제공부(13)에 의하여 음료가 준비되는 동안 소정의 광고정보를 표시하도록 디스플레이 패널(11)의 표시형태를 제어한다. 광고정보에 대한 사용자의 구매정보가 입력되면, 제어부(12)는 구매정보를 전자상거래 서버(3)에 전송하도록 통신부(14)를 제어한다. 또한, 제어부(12)는, 사용자의 신용카드 또는 휴대용 단말기(2)로부터 결제정보를 수신하여 결제처리를 수행하도록 결제부(16)를 제어할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시예에서, 사용자는 본 실시예에 따른 스마트 벤딩 머신(1)와 통신 가능한 애플리케이션을 사용자의 휴대용 단말기(2)상에서 실행함으로써 스마트 벤딩 머신(1)을 보다 편리하게 이용할 수 있다. 사용자가 휴대용 단말기(2)에 개인 식별정보 및 결제정보를 입력하면, 휴대용 단말기(2)의 애플리케이션은 사용자의 식별정보 및 결제정보에 대응되는 바코드를 제공할 수 있다. 예를 들어, 상기 바코드는 QR(Quick Response) 코드와 같은 2차원 코드일 수 있으나, 이에 한정되는 것은 아니다.
사용자가 바코드가 표시된 휴대용 단말기(2)의 화면을 결제부(16)에 가져다 대면, 결제부(16)에서 휴대용 단말기(2) 화면을 스캔함으로써 사용자의 식별정보 및 결제정보를 수신할 수 있다. 그러나, 사용자는 선택에 따라 휴대용 단말기(2)를 이용한 방식 대신 신용카드 또는 직불카드를 이용하여 결제를 수행할 수도 있다.
한편, 사용자의 식별정보는 스마트 벤딩 머신(1)의 이용과 관련하여 사용자를 다른 사용자와 구별하여 특정할 수 있는 임의의 정보로서, 예컨대, 아이디(ID) 또는 회원 번호일 수 있다. 사용자의 식별정보는 휴대용 단말기(2)에서 실행되는 애플리케이션과 연관하여 동작하는 외부 서버(미도시)에 저장된다. 예컨대, 상기 외부 서버는 전자상거래 서버(3)일 수 있으나, 이에 한정되는 것은 아니며, 예컨대 전자상거래 서버(3)와 별도로 휴대용 단말기(2)상의 애플리케이션과 통신하는 애플리케이션 서비스 서버가 구비될 수도 있다.
전술한 실시예에서는 사용자의 식별정보까지 포함하도록 휴대용 단말기(2)에서 바코드가 생성되었으나, 다른 실시예에서 휴대용 단말기(2)의 바코드는 결제정보만을 포함하고, 사용자의 식별정보는 사용자가 디스플레이 패널(11)의 터치스크린을 통해 별도로 입력하는 것도 가능하다. 또는, 사용자의 식별정보를 별도로 입력하거나 스캔하지 않고, 결제부(16)는 결제정보만을 수신하며, 제어부(12)에서 결제정보를 이용하여 전자상거래 서버(3)를 조회함으로써 결제정보에 대응되는 사용자를 식별할 수도 있다.
본 발명의 또 다른 실시예에서 스마트 벤딩 머신(1)이 카메라(15)를 포함하는 경우, 스마트 벤딩 머신(1)은 카메라(15)를 이용하여 스마트 벤딩 머신(1)에 인접한 사용자의 얼굴을 스캔하는 방식으로 사용자의 식별정보를 획득할 수 있다. 이를 위하여, 전자상거래 서버(3)는 회원으로 가입한 사용자들의 얼굴 이미지 또는 얼굴 이미지로부터 소정의 방식으로 추출된 특징 정보들을 회원 정보의 일부로서 저장할 수 있으며, 스마트 벤딩 머신(1)은 카메라(15)를 이용하여 사용자의 얼굴을 촬영한 이미지 자체 또는 이미지로부터 추출된 특징 정보들을 전자상거래 서버(3)에 조회함으로써 전자상거래 서버(3)로부터 해당 이미지에 대응되는 사용자의 식별정보를 획득할 수 있다.
나아가, 일 실시예에서 제어부(12)는 사용자의 식별정보를 기초로 디스플레이 패널(11)에 표시되는 광고정보의 종류를 결정한다. 이를 위하여, 제어부(12)는 바코드 또는 사용자 얼굴의 스캔이나 사용자의 직접 입력에 의하여 얻어진 사용자의 식별정보를 이용하여 전자상거래 서버(3)를 조회함으로써 해당 사용자의 이전 구매 내역 정보를 획득하고, 이전 구매 내역 정보를 기초로 하여 사용자가 구매할 가능성이 높다고 판단되는 상품들로 광고정보를 구성할 수 있다. 예를 들어, 사용자가 구매할 가능성이 높다고 판단되는 상품들이란, 사용자의 이전 구매 상품과 동일한 상품 분류에 속하는 상품, 이전 구매 상품과 동일한 판매자의 상품, 이전 구매 상품을 구매한 다른 사용자들이 높은 빈도로 구매한 상품 등일 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시예에서, 스마트 벤딩 머신(1)은 스마트 벤딩 머신(1) 주변의 온도 및/또는 습도를 감지하기 위한 감지부(17)를 더 포함한다. 감지부(17)에 의해 감지된 온도 및/또는 습도는, 제어부(12)를 통해, 디스플레이패널(11)에 표시되는 메뉴의 변경, 벤딩 머신(1) 내부의 환경 설정 또는 벤딩 머신(1)을 통해 제공되는 음료의 특성 등에 반영될 수 있다.
일 예로, 제어부(12)는 감지부(17)에 의해 감지된 온도 및/또는 습도를 기초로 디스플레이패널(11)에 표시되는 음료의 종류나 순서 등을 변경할 수 있다. 주변 온도나 습도가 높을 경우 사용자들은 시원하고 청량한 음료에 대한 수요가 높을 것이므로, 얼음 또는 탄산이 들어간 음료들로 메뉴를 구성하거나 이러한 음료들을 우선 제시하도록 메뉴를 구성할 수 있다.
다른 예로, 제어부(12)는 감지부(17)에 의해 감지된 온도 및/또는 습도를 기초로 벤딩 머신(1) 내부의 온도 및/또는 습도를 조절할 수 있다. 이를 위하여, 벤딩 머신(1)은 벤딩 머신(1) 내부의 온도 및/또는 습도에 대한 조절 기능이 구비된 온습도 조절기(18)를 포함한다. 예컨대, 주변의 온도가 기준치 이상으로 높을 경우 벤딩 머신(1) 내부의 온도를 평소에 비해 감소시키도록 설정함으로써 벤딩 머신(1) 내에 수용되어 있는 원료 등이 상하는 것을 방지할 수 있다.
또 다른 예로, 제어부(12)는 감지부(17)에 의해 감지된 온도 및/또는 습도를 기초로 제빙장치(132)가 공급하는 얼음의 양을 제어할 수 있다. 예컨대, 벤딩 머신(1) 주변 온도가 기준치 이상으로 높을 경우 제빙장치(132)가 음료에 공급하는 얼음의 양을 평소에 비해 증가시킬 수 있다. 이러한 변경은 사용자에 의한 선택 없이 자동적으로 적용될 수도 있고, 또는 디스플레이패널(11)에 표시되어 사용자가 적용 여부를 선택하도록 할 수도 있다.
도 3은 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 스마트 벤딩 머신을 이용한 전자상거래 방법을 도시한 순서도이다.
도 1 및 도 3을 참조하면, 먼저 스마트 벤딩 머신(1)의 디스플레이 패널(11)에 음료 메뉴정보를 표시하여(S11), 사용자로부터 음료의 주문정보를 입력받을 수 있다(S12). 음료의 주문정보는 터치스크린 형태의 디스플레이 패널(11)을 이용하여 입력될 수 있으나, 이에 한정되는 것은 아니며, 전술한 것과 같이 스마트 벤딩 머신(1)의 결제부(16)가 사용자의 휴대용 단말기(2)의 화면에 표시된 바코드를 스캔하는 방식, 또는 그 외 상이한 방식으로 음료의 주문정보를 입력받을 수도 있다.
다음으로, 스마트 벤딩 머신(1)은 사용자에 의해 주문된 음료를 준비하도록 음료 제공부(13)를 제어하는 한편(S13), 음료가 준비되기까지의 대기 시간 동안 광고정보를 표시하도록 디스플레이 패널(11)을 제어한다(S14).
도 4 및 도 5는 본 발명의 일 실시예에 따른 스마트 벤딩 머신의 디스플레이 패널상의 표시형태를 나타내는 이미지이다.
도 4는 음료의 메뉴정보와 광고정보가 함께 표시되는 디스플레이 패널(11)의 표시형태에 상응하는 것으로서, 디스플레이 패널(11)의 화면을 영역별로 나누어 음료의 메뉴정보가 표시되는 영역(111)과 배너광고가 표시되는 영역(112)으로 구분하였다. 또한, 사용자의 터치 위치가 커서(113)의 형태로 디스플레이 패널(11)에 표시될 수도 있다.
사용자가 배너를 선택하게 되면(S15), 도 5에 도시된 것과 같이 디스플레이 패널(11)의 표시 형태가 전환되어, 음료의 메뉴정보 대신 전자상거래 서버(3)를 통하여 구매 가능한 상품정보가 화면상의 일 영역(114)에 표시된다(S16). 사용자는, 해당 영역(114)에 표시된 상품정보를 보고 커서(113)를 움직여 구매 여부를 결정할 수 있다. 상품정보란 구매 가능한 상품의 목록, 각 상품의 특징, 가격, 재고 여부 등을 포함할 수 있으나, 이에 한정되지 않는다.
도 4 및 도 5에 도시된 실시예에서, 디스플레이 패널(11)은 사용자가 음료를 기다리는 도중 음료의 메뉴정보와 함께 표시되는 배너의 형태로 광고정보를 표시하였다. 그러나 이는 예시적인 것으로서, 본 발명의 다른 실시예에서 디스플레이 패널(11)은 평상시에는 제1 표시형태로서 음료의 메뉴정보만을 표시하다가, 음료의 준비가 시작되는 것에 대한 응답으로, 음료의 메뉴정보가 표시되지 않고 대신 미리 설정된 배너 또는 상품 리스트 등 광고정보만이 표시되는 제2 표시형태로 전환할 수도 있다.
한편, 디스플레이 패널(11)에 표시되는 광고정보는 각 사용자에 대해 특화되어 결정될 수도 있다. 이를 위하여, 스마트 벤딩 머신(1)은 광고정보를 표시하기 전에 스마트 벤딩 머신(1)에 구비된 카메라를 이용하여 사용자의 얼굴을 촬영하거나, 사용자의 휴대용 단말기(2)상의 바코드를 스캔하거나, 또는 사용자로부터 직접 입력받는 방식으로 사용자의 식별정보를 획득할 수 있다. 다음으로, 스마트 벤딩 머신(1)은 획득된 사용자의 식별정보를 이용하여 전자상거래 서버(3)를 조회함으로써 사용자의 이전 구매 내역 정보를 획득하며, 이전 구매 내역 정보를 기초로 해당 사용자가 구매할 가능성이 높다고 판단되는 상품들로 광고정보를 구성할 수 있다.
디스플레이 패널(11)에 표시된 광고정보를 본 사용자가 특정 상품을 구매하기를 희망할 경우, 사용자는 스마트 벤딩 머신(1)에 구매정보를 입력할 수 있다(S7). 구매정보는 구매할 상품의 정보 및 구매한 상품이 전송될 배송지 정보를 포함할 수 있다. 또한, 사용자의 식별정보가 이전에 입력되지 않았다면, 사용자는 구매정보의 일부로서 사용자의 식별정보를 스마트 벤딩 머신(1)에 스캔을 통해 또는 직접 입력할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시예에서, 배송지 정보는 상품을 구매한 사용자의 식별정보를 이용하여 특정될 수도 있다. 예를 들어, 스마트 벤딩 머신(1)은 사용자의 휴대용 단말기(2)상의 바코드로부터 독출하였거나, 카메라(15)를 이용하여 촬영된 이미지로부터 특정되었거나, 또는 사용자에 의해 직접 입력된 사용자의 개인 식별정보를 이용하여 전자상거래 서버(3)를 조회함으로써, 해당 사용자의 주소정보나 과거 배송지 정보 등을 획득하고, 이를 사용자의 구매정보에 상응하는 배송지 정보를 결정할 수 있다. 상기 과정에서 사용자의 확인을 거쳐 배송지 정보를 최종적으로 확정할 수 있다.
다음으로, 스마트 벤딩 머신(1)은 사용자의 구매정보에 상응하는 결제 처리를 수행한다(S18). 결제 처리는, 사용자의 신용카드 등 지불수단을 스마트 벤딩 머신(1)의 결제부(16)에 스캔하여줄 것을 요청하는 메시지를 디스플레이 패널(11)에 표시하고, 사용자가 이에 대한 응답으로 결제 수단을 스캔하면, 결제부(16)에서 스캔된 정보를 기초로 결제를 수행함으로써 이루어질 수 있다.
다음으로, 스마트 벤딩 머신(1)은 구매정보와 결제정보를 함께 전자상거래 서버(3)에 전송할 수 있다(S19).
그러나, 도 6에 도시된 결제 과정(S18)과 구매정보의 전송 과정(S19)의 순서는 단지 예시적인 것이다. 또한, 다른 실시예에서, 결제 과정은 스마트 벤딩 머신(1)에 의한 개입 없이 전자상거래 서버(3)와 사용자의 휴대용 단말기(2)의 직접 통신에 의하여 수행될 수도 있다. 예를 들어, 스마트 벤딩 머신(1)은 결제 과정(S18) 없이 구매정보만을 전자상거래 서버(3)에 전송하며, 구매정보를 수신한 전자상거래 서버(3)에서 구매정보에 포함된 사용자의 식별정보를 기초로 사용자의 휴대용 단말기(2)와 통신함으로써 결제 처리를 수행할 수도 있다.
도 6은 본 발명의 또 다른 실시예에 따른 스마트 벤딩 머신을 이용한 전자상거래 방법을 도시한 순서도이다.
도 1 및 도 6을 참조하면, 본 발명의 실시예에서 전자상거래 서버(3)는 스마트 벤딩 머신(1)으로부터 구매정보를 수신한다(S20). 수신된 구매정보는, 사용자가 구매한 상품에 대한 정보, 상품을 구매한 사용자의 식별정보, 및 상품을 배송할 배송지 정보 등을 포함할 수 있다. 또한, 본 발명의 일 실시예에서 전자상거래 서버(3)는 구매정보와 더불어 결제정보를 더 수신할 수도 있다.
다음으로, 전자상거래 서버(3)는 구매정보의 배송지 정보를 기초로, 미리 상품을 적재하고 있는 복수의 배송 차량(4) 중 배송지와 가장 인접한 배송 차량에 상응하는 인접 배송자 단말기(40)를 결정한다(S21). 이를 위하여, 전자상거래 서버(3)는 복수의 배송자 단말기(40)로부터 각 배송 차량의 위치 정보를 주기적으로 수신하여, 수신된 각 배송 차량의 위치 정보와 배송지 정보를 기초로 인접 배송자 단말기(40)를 결정할 수 있다.
다음으로, 전자상거래 서버(3)는 결정된 인접 배송자 단말기에 배송지시를 전송한다(S22). 배송지시는, 배송할 상품에 대한 정보 및 배송지에 대한 정보를 포함할 수 있다.
본 발명의 일 실시예에서, 전자상거래 서버(3)는 배송지시에 대한 응답으로 배송자 단말기(40)로부터 배송정보를 제공받는다(S23). 배송정보란 배송자의 연락처 정보나 예상배송일정 정보 등을 포함하는 것으로서, 적어도 부분적으로 배송자에 의해 배송자 단말기(40)에 입력되는 정보일 수 있다. 예를 들어, 전자상거래 서버(3)는 배송지시를 전송할 때 예상배송일정에 대한 회신을 배송자 단말기(40)에 요청함으로써 상기 회신의 형태로 배송정보를 수신할 수 있다.
다음으로, 전자상거래 서버(3)는 배송자 단말기(40)로부터 수신된 정보에 기초한 배송정보를 스마트 벤딩 머신(1)에 전송하여(S24), 배송정보가 스마트 벤딩 머신(1)에 표시되도록 할 수 있다(S25). 따라서, 스마트 벤딩 머신(1)을 이용하여 간편주문을 접수한 사용자가 바로 자신이 주문한 상품에 대한 배송자 연락처나 예상배송일정까지도 스마트 벤딩 머신(1)을 통해 확인할 수 있는 이점이 있다.
이상에서 설명한 전자상거래 방법에 의한 동작은 적어도 부분적으로 컴퓨터 프로그램으로 구현되고 컴퓨터로 읽을 수 있는 기록매체에 기록될 수 있다. 실시예들에 따른 방법에 의한 동작을 구현하기 위한 프로그램이 기록되고 컴퓨터가 읽을 수 있는 기록매체는 컴퓨터에 의하여 읽혀질 수 있는 데이터가 저장되는 모든 종류의 기록장치를 포함한다. 컴퓨터가 읽을 수 있는 기록매체의 예로는 ROM, RAM, CD-ROM, 자기 테이프, 플로피디스크, 광 데이터 저장장치 등이 있다. 또한 컴퓨터가 읽을 수 있는 기록매체는 네트워크로 연결된 컴퓨터 시스템에 분산되어, 분산 방식으로 컴퓨터가 읽을 수 있는 코드가 저장되고 실행될 수도 있다. 또한, 본 실시예를 구현하기 위한 기능적인 프로그램, 코드 및 코드 세그먼트(segment)들은 본 실시예가 속하는 기술 분야의 통상의 기술자에 의해 용이하게 이해될 수 있을 것이다.
이상에서 살펴본 본 발명은 도면에 도시된 실시예들을 참고로 하여 설명하였으나 이는 예시적인 것에 불과하며 당해 분야에서 통상의 지식을 가진 자라면 이로부터 다양한 변형 및 실시예의 변형이 가능하다는 점을 이해할 것이다. 그러나, 이와 같은 변형은 본 발명의 기술적 보호범위 내에 있다고 보아야 한다. 따라서, 본 발명의 진정한 기술적 보호범위는 첨부된 특허청구범위의 기술적 사상에 의해서 정해져야 할 것이다.

    사용자로부터 입력된 음료의 주문정보에 상응하는 음료를 생성하여 제공하는 음료 제공부;
    상기 주문정보가 입력되는 것에 대한 응답으로, 상기 주문정보에 상응하는 음료가 준비되도록 상기 음료 제공부를 제어하며, 상기 음료 제공부에 의하여 음료가 준비되는 시간 동안 상기 광고정보를 표시하도록 상기 디스플레이 패널을 제어하도록 구성된 제어부; 및

    상기 복수 개의 배송자 단말기 중 상기 배송지 정보 및 상기 위치 정보에 기초하여 결정된 인접 배송자 단말기에 상기 배송지시를 전송하는 단계를 포함하는 것을 특징으로 하는 스마트 벤딩 머신을 이용한 전자상거래 방법.
  18. 하드웨어와 결합되어, 제 9항 내지 제15항 중 어느 한 항에 따른 전자상거래 방법을 실행하도록 매체에 저장된 컴퓨터 프로그램.
