Abstract

L'invention porte principalement sur un procédé de redémarrage d'un moteur thermique (11) de véhicule automobile par un alterno-démarreur (10) accouplé audit moteur thermique (11) et comportant un module de contrôle (14), caractérisé en ce que, en cas d'échec du démarrage du moteur thermique (11), ledit procédé comporte: -une étape de suspension du couple généré par l'alterno-démarreur (10) pendant une durée prédéterminée, et -une deuxième étape d'activation de l'alterno-démarreur (10) pour générer de nouveau le couple de démarrage du moteur thermique (11) lorsque la vitesse de rotation du moteur thermique (11) devient supérieure à un seuil prédéterminé alors que le moteur thermique (11) est dans une phase de rebond.
