Abstract
본 발명은 글리세롤로부터 1,3-프로판디올을 고생산하는 락토바실러스 루테리 CH53 균주 및 이의 용도에 관한 것으로, 본 발명의 락토바실러스 루테리 CH53 균주는 글리세롤 또는 폐글리세롤을 고농도의 1,3-프로판디올로 매우 높은 수율로 전환할 수 있는 점을 확인하였다. 따라서, 본 발명에 따른 1,3-프로판디올 고생산 유산균 락토바실러스 루테리 CH53 균주는 인체에 안전한 균주(GRAS, Generally Recognized As Safe)인 유산균의 일종으로, 이를 이용하여 폐글리세롤을 1,3-프로판디올 생산에 활용한다면 기존의 GMO 균주와 달리 안전하면서 환경적인 측면이나, 자원의 재순환 활용이라는 이점을 제공할 수 있어 관련 산업에 매우 유용하다.
