Abstract

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Technologie zur Trocknung von nassen oder feuchten Fasern, insbesondere nach einem Herstellungsprozess. Eine Fasermatte (13) aus den nassen oder feuchten Fasern wird auf einem Prozessband (31) gebildet, das in einer Förderrichtung (x) durch Fasertrockner bewegt wird. In dem Fasertrockner (30) wird eine Luftströmung (36, 36a) aus einer erwärmten Trocknungsluft erzeugt, die in aufsteigender Richtung durch das Prozessbands (31) geleitet wird und die in der Fasermatte (13, 14) enthaltenen Fasern auflockert und trocknet. Durch etwaig erzeugten Faserflug (16) bewegte Fasern werden durch ein oberhalb des Prozessbands (31) angeordnetes Filterband (32) aufgefangen, das ebenfalls in der Förderrichtung (x) bewegt wird. Am Ausgang des Fasertrockners (30) wird eine auf dem Filterband (32) gebildete Auflagerung (17) aus Fasern abgelöst, insbesondere unter Rückführung der abgelösten Fasern zu den auf dem Prozessband (31, 31c) geführten trockenen Fasern. Die Trocknungstechnik umfasst ein Verfahren und eine Faserbehandlungsanlage.
