- the system of the impugned invention consists of
- a multi-currency counting and storage device with a digital counter for coins and notes connected to Bluetooth/ wireless technology.
- the system will " use a digital counter, to count multi currency coins and notes including Indian, based both in terms of value and number of units. It would do so by identifying their unique attributes. It would then store that data in a chip in the device.
- the chip would be connected to Bluetooth A/VIFI/ SIM and would have the ability to transfer that data to the proprietary application on the mobile/tablet or desktop via Bluetooth/wifi/sim.
- the data is transmitted by Bluetooth/ wireless technology into a mobile/web device onto a proprietary application.
- the application would be built for children to help them learn about the merits of fiscal discipline. This would be done by gamifying (building a game), to help the children set life goals and help achieve them.
- the game motivates and rewards the child for reaching their target and educates them on the benefits of spending money wisely.
- This invention can also be licensed to banks and financial institutions, who could then white label the invention with their brand and help the children (through their parents) to invest their savings in the right product.
- this data is very vital and valuable, because not only does this help them start a banking relationship with the child at a very early age, but also given them an inside into a sum of capital which would have otherwise been out of bounds for them.
- This invention will also help financial institutions (banks etc) build their brand and help their customers to migrate to digital currency
- the purpose of the invention is three fold. First is to digitize the loose currency lying in various households, and second is to use that opportunity to educate
- Step 1 After buying the product, the customer downloads the proprietary app from iTunes store/ or Google Play.
- Step 2 They then sync the Bluetooth device between their phone and the device.
- Step 3 The customer (parent/child), then opens the app and creates a profile and sets a goals for their child (it could be done by a child as well if he/she is old enough) .
- the goals could be in the form of currency (e.g. INR 500) or in the form of a product (Eg. Bike).
- Step 4 The customer (parent/child) starts adding loose currency to the device.
- Step 5 The app will notify the customer of his or her achievements periodically and give them suggestions to help achieve their goals.
- the processes for financial institutions which gets license for using the invention are:
- Step 1 After buying the product, the customer downloads the mobile app of the Bank/financial institution/ iTunes store/ or Google Play.
- Step 2 They then sync the Bluetooth device between their phone and the device hardware.
- Step 3 The app should already have the profile of the customer as the same would have been done during opening of the account.
- the customer (parent/child) then opens the app and sets a goal.
- the goal would be in form of currency (e.g. INR 500). Every time the customer hits their goal, they can request someone from the bank to come and collect their currency and deposit the same into their account.
- INR 500 in form of currency
- the banks will reward the customer with a virtual icon (e.g. Star). This is done to incentivize the customer to continue saving and achieving their goals. Once the customer gets 5 icons, they could get a monitory/other reward from the bank.
- a virtual icon e.g. Star
- the system can be used in other areas like: i) Managing loose coins for any house hold or office environment (for adults) ii) It can be used in micro/small shops (kirana/street vendors/ etc),
- this invention can be used for informing banks/NBFC about the collection that their clients have made.
