かかる織物の要求特性としては、支持される紙に対して織物のワイヤーマークが転写しにくい表面平滑性に優れた織物、また原料に含まれる余分な水分を十分且つ均一に脱水するための脱水性、過酷な環境下でも好適に使用できる程度の剛性、耐摩耗性、そして良好な紙を製造するために必要な条件を長期間持続することが要求されている。その他にも繊維支持性、製紙の歩留まりの向上、寸法安定性、走行安定性等が要求される。さらに近年では抄紙マシンの高速化に伴い、抄紙用織物への要求特性も一段と厳しいものとなっている。
近年ではマシンの高速化に伴い、特に優れた脱水性、表面平滑性が要求されている。マシンや抄造物によって求められる脱水特性は異なっているが、どんな抄造物であっても均一な脱水性、繊維支持性は必須条件である。また、近年では微細繊維が多く混在する故紙の利用も増えたため、繊維支持性が重要視されると共に、微細繊維によるシート形成では脱水性が低下するため脱水性に優れた織物も要求されていた。
一般的に製紙用織物では、織物の網目を利用して遠心、プレス脱水等が行われているが、十分な脱水性を得るために網の裏面から吸引脱水もされており、繊維支持性、脱水性といった要求特性が操業性やランニングコストに大きな影響を与えている。
ここで、下面側織物を構成する下面側経糸と下面側緯糸の2種類の糸の線径を、相対する上面側経糸と上面側緯糸の線径に比較して太く構成する工業用織物が開発されている(特許文献1)。かかる工業用織物を使用することによって、耐摩耗性の問題は解決し、伸びやカールの発生を抑制するとも考えられる。
更に、比較的太い下面側緯糸を織り込む接結糸である経糸が、走行面側で摩耗することにより、経時的に切断される危険性がある。経糸は緯糸に比較して、高テンションであることから、経糸の切断は織物の破断に直結するため、織物の寿命が短くなってしまうという問題点が考えられる。
そこで本発明は、下面側織物側における糸の線径を上面側織物側における糸の線径よりも太くするものでありながら、表面性の悪化や、織物の短寿命といった従来技術の問題点を解決するためになされたものである。
また本発明は、上下経糸の線径が異なっている織物において、経糸接結を用いて上面側織物と下面側織物とを接合した織物であるにも拘わらず、表面性を悪化させない工業用二層織物を提供することを目的とする。
(1)上面側経糸と上面側緯糸とからなる上面側織物と、下面側経糸と下面側緯糸とからなる下面側織物とを接結糸によって接合する工業用織物において、前記下面側経糸の一部が上面側緯糸と織り合うことにより前記上面側織物と下面側織物を接合する接結糸として機能する下面側経糸接結糸であり、当該下面側経糸接結糸の線径と上面側経糸の線径は全て同一であり、接結糸として機能しない下面側経糸の線径は全て同一であり、かつ、上面側経糸及び下面側経糸接結糸の線径より大きいことを特徴とする工業用二層織物である。
また、接結糸として機能する一部の下面側経糸と、上面側経糸の線径を同一とすることによって、上面側織物における表面性の悪化を防止することができる。すなわち本発明は、下面側経糸接結糸を採用し、下面側経糸接結糸と上面側経糸の線径と同一に形成することにより、上面側織物の表面に線径の異なる経糸が混在して現われることがなくなるため、表面性の悪化を防止し、表面平滑性及びマーキング特性を向上させることができる。
上記(2)に記載された工業用二層織物の構成は、上面側経糸の一部と下面側経糸の一部を接結糸として機能させる、すなわち上下経糸接結を採用している点に特徴を有する。更に本発明は、上面側経糸接結糸及び下面側経糸接結糸及び上面側経糸という、3種類の線径を同一に形成することにより、上面側織物の表面に線径の異なる経糸が混在して現われることがなくなるため、表面性の悪化を防止し、表面平滑性及びマーキング特性を向上させることができる。

また本発明に係る工業用織物を採用することによっては、上下経糸の線径が異なっている織物において、経糸接結を用いて上面側織物と下面側織物とを接合した織物であるにも拘わらず、表面性を悪化させないという優れた効果を奏する。
本実施形態に係る工業用二層織物は、上面側経糸と上面側緯糸とからなる上面側織物と、下面側経糸と下面側緯糸とからなる下面側織物とを接結糸によって接合され構成されている。
ここで、本発明に係る織物に使用される下面側経糸接結糸の線径と上面側経糸の線径は全て同一である。又、接結糸として機能しない下面側経糸の線径は全て同一である。又、上面側経糸及び下面側経糸接結糸より、接結糸として機能しない下面側経糸の線径が大きい。
下面側緯糸の線径を上面側緯糸の線径より大きくした場合に、二層織物のバランスを向上させることができる。また、下面側経糸の線径を大きく構成することにより、摩耗による経糸の切断を軽減することができ、長寿命の二層織物を提供することができる。
また、接結糸として機能する下面側経糸接結糸を使用し、当該下面側経糸接結糸と上面側経糸の線径を全て同一にすることにより、表面性の悪化を防止することができる。特に本発明は、下面側経糸の一部を接結糸として採用したことに加えて、上面側経糸の線径と全て同一に形成するとともに、接結糸として機能しない下面側経糸の線径を全て同一に形成することによって、上面側織物に線径の異なる経糸が混在して現われることがなくなるため、表面性の悪化を防止し、表面平滑性及びマーキング特性を向上させることができる。

上面側緯糸(1’U、2’U・・・)と下面側緯糸(1’L、3’L・・・)の配置比率は2:1である。
本実施形態1に係る工業用二層織物は、このような構成を採用することによって、図1及び図2に示す如く、上面側織物に線径の異なる経糸が混在して現われることがなくなる。そのため、表面性の悪化を防止し、表面平滑性及びマーキング特性を向上させることができる。
図3及び図4は、本発明の実施形態2に係る工業用二層織物を説明するための意匠図及び断面図である。
図3及び図4に示す如く、本実施形態2に係る工業用二層織物は、上面側経糸(2U~4U、6U~8U)と、下面側経糸(2L~4L、6L~8L)とを有し、接結糸として機能する上面側経糸1Ub、5Ubとを有し、接結糸として機能する下面側経糸1Lb、5Lbとを有する。ここで上面側経糸(2U~4U、6U~8U)の線径は、接結糸として機能する上面側経糸1Ub及び5Ub及び接結糸として機能する下面側経糸1Lb及び5Lbを含めて全て同一である。また、接結糸として機能しない下面側経糸(2L~4L、6~8L)の線径は全て同一である。
また、本実施形態2に係る工業用二層織物は、図3及び図4に示す如く、上面側緯糸(1’U~16’U)と、下面側緯糸(1’L、3’L,5’L,7’L,9’L,11’L,13’L,15’L)からなる16シャフトの織物である。
上面側緯糸(1’U、2’U・・・)と下面側緯糸(1’L、3’L・・・)の配置比率は2:1である。
本実施形態2に係る工業用織物は、このような構成を採用することによって、図3及び図4に示す如く、上面側織物に線径の異なる経糸が混在して現われることがなくなる。そのため、表面性の悪化を防止し、表面平滑性及びマーキング特性を向上させることができる。

Claims (5)
- 上面側経糸と上面側緯糸とからなる上面側織物と、下面側経糸と下面側緯糸とからなる下面側織物とを接結糸によって接合する工業用織物において、前記下面側経糸の一部が上面側緯糸と織り合うことにより前記上面側織物と下面側織物を接合する接結糸として機能する下面側経糸接結糸であり、当該下面側経糸接結糸の線径と上面側経糸の線径は全て同一であり、接結糸として機能しない下面側経糸の線径は全て同一であり、かつ、上面側経糸及び下面側経糸接結糸の線径より大きいことを特徴とする工業用二層織物。
- 上面側経糸と上面側緯糸とからなる上面側織物と、下面側経糸と下面側緯糸とからなる下面側織物とを接結糸によって接合する工業用織物において、前記下面側経糸の一部が上面側緯糸と織り合うことにより前記上面側織物と下面側織物を接合する接結糸として機能する下面側経糸接結糸であり、前記上面側経糸の一部が下面側緯糸と織り合うことにより前記上面側織物と下面側織物を接合する接結糸として機能する上面側経糸接結糸であり、前記下面側経糸接結糸の線径及び上面側経糸及び上面側経糸接結糸の線径は全て同一であり、接結糸として機能しない下面側経糸の線径は全て同一であり、かつ、上面側経糸及び上面側経糸接結糸及び下面側経糸接結糸の線径より大きいことを特徴とする工業用二層織物。
- 前記上面側経糸及び下面側経糸接結糸と下面側経糸の線径が、以下の数式の範囲内の線径差を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載された工業用二層織物。
