Specifically, with reference to the database DB10, the weight of the product (group) included in the provisional order data (the total weight when there are multiple products in one order) and the product (group) are packed. Determine the size of the case. Then, with reference to the database DB 40, one delivery company that sets the cheapest price for this weight and packing size is specified.
- the weight category belonging to the calculated weight is specified, and the difference between the upper limit weight of the category and the product weight (that is, the additional weight) How much weight can be combined and delivered without incurring shipping charges). If the difference is greater than or equal to a predetermined value, it is determined that there is a margin, and if the difference is less than the predetermined value, it is determined that there is no margin. If it is determined that there is no room, the process ends without suggesting additional products.
- an additional proposed product is determined (S506). Specifically, one or more products having a weight within the range of the difference are determined. This determination is made based on user information included in the provisional order data, for example. For example, one or more products are selected from the product group belonging to the same category as the product category having the highest number of purchases from the purchase history of the user. Alternatively, information other than the user information (such as information on the best seller of the product) may be stored in the purchase support server 300 and the product may be determined using this information.
- the size when the product (group) specified in the provisional order data and the product determined in S506 are packed together is determined (S508).
- the overall shape and size after packing depend on the packing method (arrangement of the product group).
- the information generation unit 311 uses the predetermined algorithm stored in the storage unit 330 to specify the most rational one packing method from the combination of the sizes of the commodities. For example, the products are arranged so as to be closest to the ratio of the length, width, and height of the packing box (generally a rectangular parallelepiped) defined in the database DB21. If the determined size category is not the same as the product (group) category specified in the provisional order data (that is, an additional shipping fee is generated), the process returns to S506, the additional proposed product is changed, and the step of S508 is performed again. Execute.
- the predetermined condition is, for example, a tariff rate that is equal to or less than the tariff rate of the current product group when a tariff is imposed on the main product price of the current product (group) as a tax in Country A. Is a condition that is imposed.
- the predetermined condition when the tariff rate applied to the original product group is 5%, it is determined that the predetermined condition is satisfied if 3% customs duty is imposed on the additionally proposed product. Alternatively, it may be set as the predetermined condition that no additional tariff is generated. For example, in the case where tariffs are determined according to the category (type) of goods in the destination country, if the proposed product belongs to a category exempted from tariffs, it is determined that the predetermined condition is satisfied. . If the additionally proposed product satisfies a predetermined condition regarding the tariff rate, recommendation information is generated (S512).
- FIG. 10 shows an example of the operation of the purchase support system 100.
- the user registers in advance with the EC server 200 using the user terminal 500 (S102).
- the user accesses the EC server 200, uses a search function provided by the EC server 200, etc., selects a product desired to be purchased, and inputs a delivery destination (S104).

- a purchase request including a product ID, a user ID, destination information, and a flag indicating purchase confirmation is sent from the user terminal 500 to the EC server 200. It is transmitted (S120). And EC200 produces
- the EC server 200 When receiving a purchase request from the user terminal 500, the EC server 200 generates order data (S122) and transmits it to the purchase support server 300 (S124).
- the purchase support server 300 registers the order data in the database DB 30 and transmits a shipping instruction including the order ID, the delivery source, the product ID, and the packing size (or the packing method) included in the order data (S128). ).
- the warehouse terminal 400 When the warehouse terminal 400 receives the shipping instruction, the warehouse terminal 400 identifies the commodity to be shipped based on the commodity ID, and packs the commodity so as to fit within the packing size specified by the shipping instruction (S130). When the packing is completed, the warehouse terminal 400 notifies the purchase support server 300 that the shipment preparation is completed in association with the order ID. Upon receipt of this notification, the purchase support server 300 creates delivery slip data based on the order data corresponding to the order ID (S134), and transmits it to the delivery company server 600 together with the delivery request (S136). Upon receiving the delivery request, the delivery company server 600 starts the shipping operation.
- the delivery fee system in the above embodiment is an example.
- the delivery fee only has to depend on at least one of the weight and size (size at the time of packing) of the product.
- the delivery fee may be associated with at least one of weight and size on a one-to-one basis by a predetermined calculation formula.
- the definition of the size is arbitrary, and may be the total value of the height and width of the product or the volume of the packaging container.
- tariffs are handled as examples of taxes imposed on products, but the type, content, definition, and name of the tax are arbitrary. Generally, there are customs duty, consumption tax, value-added tax (value-added tax), administrative tax, etc. as taxes.
- the tax system may be different for each country of purchase and destination. In addition, multiple types of taxes may be imposed when purchasing and distributing merchandise.
- the taxable amount may be determined according to the price of the product, or may depend on the type or category / classification of the product (preference items / luxury / living goods / food, etc.) .
- the division is represented by, for example, an HS code.
- the amount of taxation may be prescribed as an absolute amount in addition to being prescribed as a percentage of the price.
- a tax occurs when transactions are made across two or more countries (or economic zones) that manage the movement of goods, and the amount of tax is at least according to the movement of goods and goods. Any amount that is uniquely determined may be used.
- the algorithm used when selecting products to be additionally purchased by the information generation unit 311 is not limited to the method shown in FIG. In short, it has only to be proposed so that at least one of the costs necessary for delivering all of a plurality of products to one delivery destination and the tax amount imposed upon delivery is reasonable. For example, if the delivery company sets the delivery target product group to be delivered in two packages so that the cost is lower than the delivery in one package, the purchase support server 300 can provide one delivery. Information indicating that the distribution is divided into two packages and divided into two or more times may be included in the recommendation information.
