La présente invention concerne une composition à base de polymère fluoré greffé et son utilisation pour limiter la prolifération bactérienne en milieu aqueux.
L'invention a trait également à un corps creux, notamment un tuyau ou un tube composite, apte à contenir de l'eau en particulier de l'eau potable, dont la couche interne en contact avec l'eau consiste en ladite composition.
Les polymères fluorés, notamment le PVDF, sont connus comme étant des matériaux limitant la prolifération bactérienne. Ainsi, le document « Fluoropolymers Applications in Chemical Processing Industries - The Définitive User's Guide and Databook" (ISBN-13: 978-0815515029) indique qu'un biofïlm a plus de mal à se former à la surface du PVDF qu'à la surface de l'acier inoxydable.
Par ailleurs, le document WO 2008/009865 décrit un polymère fluoré greffé avec un monomère ionique particulier et préconise l'emploi de celui-ci pour la fabrication d'un tube ou d'un container pouvant servir à stocker ou transporter un fluide (liquide ou gaz) et dont on veut éviter la contamination bactérienne.
Toutefois, dans le cas des canalisations ou des conteneurs, en particuliers des canalisations de transport d'eau potable et les conteneurs d'eau potable, l'action antibactérienne du matériau formant la couche interne de la canalisation ou du conteneur n'est pas suffisante pour assurer un effet protecteur de longue durée. En effet, il a été constaté que la faiblesse d'accroché du biofïlm formé sur la surface interne de la canalisation ou du conteneur joue également un rôle important dans l'effet antimicrobien. Ainsi, même si l'épaisseur du biofïlm créé sur la surface en contact avec l'eau est faible, celui-ci peut poser des problèmes de contamination bactérienne de l'eau s'il ne peut pas être régulièrement et correctement retiré. Ceci est particulièrement vrai pour des canalisations de transports d'eau potable qui sont enfouies dans le sol et pour lesquelles aucune action mécanique de nettoyage ne peut être facilement mise en œuvre.
Il existe donc un réel besoin de disposer de nouveaux matériaux présentant une activité antibactérienne satisfaisante et constante au fil du temps et sur lesquels les bactéries ont une faible accroche.
Un objet de la présente invention est de proposer une composition qui possède des propriétés antimicrobiennes, ladite composition étant destinée à former la couche interne d'un objet en contact avec l'eau ou un milieu aqueux, afin d'y prévenir ou limiter la prolifération de microorganismes.
Un autre objet de l'invention se rapporte à l'utilisation de ladite composition pour limiter la prolifération bactérienne en milieu aqueux, comme couche interne dans un corps creux servant à stocker ou à transporter de l'eau, notamment de l'eau potable.
Un autre objet de l'invention concerne un corps creux, tel qu'un conteneur de stockage d'eau, un tuyau ou un tube composite de transport d'eau, en particulier de l'eau potable, dont la couche interne en contact avec l'eau présente une activité antibactérienne satisfaisante et sur laquelle les bactéries ont une faible accroche.
Un autre objet de l'invention est de proposer un procédé de fabrication simple à mettre en œuvre et peu coûteux qui permet de fabriquer le corps creux précité.
Un autre objet de l'invention concerne l'utilisation d'un polymère fluoré, greffé avec un monomère insaturé particulier, pour limiter la prolifération bactérienne en milieu aqueux, par exemple comme couche interne dans un corps creux servant à stocker ou à transporter de l'eau, notamment de l'eau potable.
La présente invention concerne, selon un premier aspect, une composition comprenant un polymère fluoré greffé par des fonctions anhydride d'acide maléique et au moins un copolymère à blocs comprenant au moins un bloc hydrophobe et au moins un bloc hydrophile.
S 'agissant du polymère fluoré on désigne ainsi tout polymère ayant dans sa chaîne au moins un monomère choisi parmi les composés contenant un groupe vinyle capable de s'ouvrir pour se polymériser et qui contient, directement attaché à ce groupe vinyle, au moins un atome de fluor, un groupe fluoroalkyle ou un groupe fluoroalkoxy.
A titre d'exemple de monomère on peut citer le fluorure de vinyle; le fluorure de vinylidène (VDF); le trifluoroethylene (VF3); le chlorotrifluoroethylene (CTFE); le 1,2- difluoroethylene; le tetrafluoroethylene (TFE); l'hexafluoropropylene (HFP); les perfluoro(alkyl vinyl) ethers tels que le perfluoro(methyl vinyl)ether (PMVE), le perfluoro(ethyl vinyl) ether (PEVE) et le perfluoro(propyl vinyl) ether (PPVE); le perfluoro( 1,3 -dioxole); le perfluoro(2,2-dimethyl- 1,3 -dioxole) (PDD); le produit de formule CF2=CFOCF2CF(CF3)OCF2CF2X dans laquelle X est S02F, C02H, CH20H, CH20CN ou CH20PO3H; le produit de formule CF2=CFOCF2CF2S02F; le produit de formule F(CF2)nCH20CF=CF2 dans laquelle n est 1, 2, 3, 4 or 5; le produit de formule
R1CH20CF=CF2 dans laquelle RI est l'hydrogène ou F(CF2)z et z vaut 1 , 2, 3 ou 4; le produit de formule R30CF=CH2 dans laquelle R3 est F(CF2)z- et z est 1, 2, 3 or 4; le perfluorobutyl ethylene (PFBE); le3,3,3-trifluoropropene et le 2-trifluoromethyl-3 ,3 ,3 - trifluoro- 1 -propene.
Le polymère fluoré peut être un homopolymère ou un copolymère, il peut aussi comprendre des monomères non fluorés tels que l'éthylène.
A titre d'exemple le polymère fluoré est choisi parmi :
- les homo- et copolymères du fluorure de vinylidène (VDF) contenant de préférence au moins 50% en poids de VDF, le copolymère étant choisi parmi le chlorotrifluoroéthylène (CTFE), l'hexafluoropropylène (HFP), le trifluoroéthylène (VF3) et le tétrafluoroéthylène (TFE),
- les homo- et copolymères du trifluoroéthylène (VF3),
- les copolymères, et notamment terpolymères, associant les restes des motifs chlorotrifluoroéthylène (CTFE), tétrafluoroéthylène (TFE), hexafluoropropylène (HFP) et/ou éthylène et éventuellement des motifs VDF et/ou VF3.
Avantageusement le polymère fluoré est du poly(fluorure de vinylidène) (PVDF) homopolymère ou copolymère. De préférence le PVDF contient, en poids, au moins 50% de VDF, plus préférentiellement au moins 75% et mieux encore au moins 85%.
Avantageusement, le polymère fluoré est un polymère thermoplastique (par opposition à un fluoroélastomère). Les polymères fluorés contenant une proportion élevée de motifs issus du monomère VDF ont tendance à être thermoplastiques.
Par « thermoplastique », on entend ici un polymère non élastomérique. Un polymère élastomérique est défini comme étant un polymère qui peut être étiré, à température ambiante, à deux fois sa longueur initiale et qui, après relâchement des contraintes, reprend rapidement sa longueur initiale, à 10 % près, comme indiqué par l'ASTM dans la Spécial Technical Publication n°184.
Avantageusement, le PVDF a une viscosité allant de 100 Pa.s à 2000 Pa.s, la viscosité étant mesurée à 230°C, à un gradient de cisaillement de 100 s- là l'aide d'un rhéomètre capillaire. En effet, ces PVDF sont bien adaptés à l'extrusion et à l'injection. De préférence, le PVDF a une viscosité allant de 300 Pa.s à 1200 Pa.s, la viscosité étant mesurée à 230°C, à un gradient de cisaillement de 100s-l à l'aide d'un rhéomètre capillaire. Ainsi, les PVDF commercialisés sous la marque KYNAR® 710 ou 720 sont parfaitement adaptés pour cette formulation.
Selon un mode de réalisation, la composition selon l'invention consiste en un polymère fluoré greffé par des fonctions anhydride d'acide maléique et au moins un copolymère à blocs comprenant au moins un bloc hydrophobe et au moins un bloc hydrophile.
Le monomère insaturé greffé sur ledit polymère fluoré est l'anhydride d'acide maléique. La méthode de greffage est décrite par la demanderesse dans le document EP 1 484 346. En bref, le procédé de greffage d'un monomère insaturé sur un polymère fluoré comprend les étapes suivantes :
a) on mélange le polymère fluoré à l'état fondu avec le monomère insaturé, b) le mélange obtenu en a) est mis sous forme de films, de plaques, de granulés ou de poudre,
c) les produits de l'étape b) sont soumis, en l'absence d'air, à une irradiation photonique (γ) ou électronique (β) sous une dose comprise entre 1 et 15 Mrad, d) le produit obtenu en c) est éventuellement traité pour éliminer tout ou partie du monomère insaturé qui n'a pas été greffé sur le polymère fluoré.
La teneur en anhydride d'acide maléique dans le polymère fluoré greffé varie de 0,2 à 1,0 %, et de préférence de 0,4% à 0,7% en poids par rapport au poids total du polymère fluoré.
Selon un mode de réalisation, ledit polymère fluoré greffé est un homopolymère de fluorure de vinylidène qui comprend en poids de 0,2 à 1,0 %>, et de préférence de 0,4%> à 0,7%), d'anhydride d'acide maléique. Un tel polymère présente de bonnes propriétés antibactériennes et empêche l'accroche des bactéries à la surface de la couche qui le contient.
L'invention concerne, selon un autre aspect, l'utilisation d'un polymère fluoré greffé avec des fonctions anhydride d'acide maléique, pour limiter la prolifération bactérienne sur une surface en milieu aqueux, notamment comme couche interne dans un corps creux servant à stocker ou à transporter de l'eau, en particulier de l'eau potable. Selon un mode de réalisation, ladite utilisation est celle d'un PVDF greffé avec 0,2 à 1,0 %>, et de préférence de 0,4%> à 0,7%>, en poids, d'acide maléique.
Avantageusement, ledit polymère fluoré greffé selon l'invention présentant une activité antibactérienne peut être mis en forme avec les outils de transformation des thermoplastiques habituellement utilisés dans l'industrie des matières plastiques ; il ne libère pas d'agent antibactérien dans le milieu à protéger et conserve au cours du temps son activité antibactérienne.
S 'agissant du copolymère à blocs entrant dans la composition antibactérienne selon l'invention, il comporte au moins un bloc hydrophile susceptible d'être obtenu à partir de monomères d'acrylate de n-butyle et de méthacrylate d'hydroxyéthyle, et au moins un bloc hydrophobe susceptible d'être obtenu à partir d'un monomère de méthacrylate de méthyle.
Par « bloc hydrophile », on entend un copolymère soluble dans l'eau, dispersible dans l'eau, ou qui généralement a la capacité d'absorber et/ou de relarguer de l'eau. Le bloc hydrophile peut être un copolymère statistique contenant au moins lesdits monomères hydrophiles d'acrylate de n-butyle et de méthacrylate d'hydroxyéthyle, et le cas échéant d'autres monomères hydrophiles, ou un copolymère statistique contenant au moins lesdits monomères hydrophiles, et le cas échéant un ou plusieurs autres monomères hydrophiles, avec un ou plusieurs monomères hydrophobes.
Par « bloc hydrophobe », on entend ici un (co)polymère non soluble ou non dispersible dans l'eau. Le bloc hydrophobe peut être un homopolymère hydrophobe, un copolymère statistique contenant au moins ledit monomère de méthacrylate de méthyle et un ou plusieurs autres monomères hydrophobes, ou un copolymère statistique contenant au moins ledit monomère de méthacrylate de méthyle, et le cas échéant un ou plusieurs monomères hydrophobes, avec un ou plusieurs monomères hydrophiles.
Des copolymères à blocs préférés de l'invention sont du type dans lequel au moins :
- le bloc hydrophile est composé d'un copolymère statistique contenant essentiellement des monomères d'acrylate de n-butyle et de méthacrylate d'hydroxyéthyle ; de préférence, la proportion en poids de monomères d'acrylate de n-butyle dans le premier bloc hydrophile est comprise entre 99 et 50 %, préférentiellement entre 95 et 70 %, et la proportion en poids de monomères de méthacrylate d'hydroxyéthyle y est comprise entre 1 et 50 %, préférentiellement entre 5 et 30 % (bornes comprises) ;
- le bloc hydrophile présente de préférence une masse moléculaire moyenne en nombre Mn comprise entre 5 et 200 kg/mol, et une masse moléculaire moyenne en poids comprise entre 10 et 400 kg/mol ;
- et/ou le bloc hydrophobe est composé d'au moins 50 % de polyméthacrylate de méthyle (PMMA), le reste étant formé d'un mélange de monomères méthacrylates ou acrylates, de préférence des monomères d'acrylate de n-butyle et de méthacrylate d'hydroxyéthyle.
Le copolymère à blocs de l'invention peut présenter une masse moléculaire moyenne en poids comprise entre 10 kg/mol et 400 kg/mol, préférentiellement entre 15
et 100 kg/mol, et une masse moléculaire moyenne en nombre comprise entre 7 et 50 kg/mol. Son indice de polydispersité est de préférence compris entre 1,5 et 5. La synthèse des blocs du copolymère à blocs de l'invention peut être réalisée par tout type de polymérisation radicalaire contrôlée.
Ladite composition contient, selon un mode de réalisation, une proportion massique dudit copolymère à blocs comprise entre 1,5 et 6%, de préférence égale comprise entre 2 et 5% (bornes comprises).
L'invention concerne, selon un autre aspect, l'utilisation de ladite composition comprenant un polymère fluoré greffé par des fonctions anhydride d'acide maléique et au moins un copolymère à blocs comprenant au moins un bloc hydrophobe et au moins un bloc hydrophile, pour limiter la prolifération bactérienne sur une surface en milieu aqueux. C'est le mérite de la Demanderesse que d'avoir mis en évidence que la présence d'un copolymère à blocs comprenant au moins un bloc hydrophobe et au moins un bloc hydrophile, en plus de celle d'un polymère fluoré greffé avec des fonctions anhydride d'acide maléique, permet de réduire davantage l'accroche du biofïlm au niveau d'une surface ainsi recouverte, ce qui la rend plus facile à nettoyer. Sa durée d'utilisation est ainsi augmentée.
L'invention concerne, selon un autre aspect, un corps creux apte à permettre le stockage ou le transport d'eau, notamment potable, comprenant au moins une couche interne et une deuxième couche qui entoure ladite couche interne et qui est solidaire de cette dernière, ladite couche interne étant apte à venir en contact avec l'eau. De manière caractéristique, selon l'invention, la couche interne est constituée de la composition possédant des propriétés antibactériennes décrites ci-dessus. Cette couche interne qui limite fortement la formation d'un biofïlm lorsqu'elle est en contact avec l'eau potable, résiste bien à l'eau chlorée et ne permet pas au biofïlm formé de se fixer durablement à sa surface.
Selon l'invention, la couche interne peut être recouverte directement ou via une couche de liant par la deuxième couche. D'autres couches peuvent également espacer la couche interne de la deuxième couche tout en les solidarisant l'une à l'autre. Une couche ou plusieurs couches peuvent également recouvrir la deuxième couche pour former la surface externe du corps creux. La deuxième couche peut également former la surface externe du corps creux.
De préférence, ladite deuxième couche comprend au moins un polymère thermoplastique choisi dans la liste :
un polyamide (par exemple PA 6, 11, 12, 6,6, ...) ;
• un polymère acrylique, notamment un PMMA homo- ou copolymère comprenant plus de 50% en poids de méthacrylate de méthyle (MAM) ;
une polyoléfme (PE, PP, EPDM) ;
le polychlorure de vinyle (PVC) ;
le PVC chloré (C-PVC) ;
• le polyéthylène téréphtalate (PET) ;
· l'EVOH (copolymère éthylène éthylène-alcool vinylique) ;
• le polyéthercétone (PEEK) ;
• le polyoxyméthylène (acétal) ;
le polyéthersulfone ;
un polyuréthane ;
· un polymère fluoré tel que par exemple un PVDF, un polyfluorure de vinyle, un copolymère TFE-éthylène (ETFE), un copolymère TFE-HFP (FEP), un copolymère TFE-éthylène-HFP (EFEP), un copolymère TFE-HFP -VDF (THV) ou un PTFE.
La forme et la taille du corps creux de l'invention ne sont limitées. Il peut être choisi parmi les tuyaux ; les tubes composites comprenant un tube en métal, notamment en fonte, recouvert d'au moins ladite couche interne et de la deuxième couche de polymère; les canalisations comprenant les tubes et/ou les tuyaux précités et les réservoirs, tels que des bidons, tonneaux ou gourdes, par exemple.
Ainsi, le corps creux de la présente invention peut être un tube de fonte dont la surface interne est recouverte de la couche interne précitée. L'extérieur du tube de fonte peut être également recouvert d'une autre couche de matériau polymérique, appliquée par exemple, par poudrage.
La présente invention concerne également un procédé de fabrication d'un corps creux tel que celui décrit plus haut, apte à contenir de l'eau, notamment potable, selon lequel on co-extrude une couche interne venant en contact avec l'eau, et au moins une deuxième couche externe qui est disposée autour de ladite couche interne et solidaire de ladite couche interne, ladite couche interne consistant en la composition selon l'invention, comprenant un polymère fluoré greffé par des fonctions anhydride d'acide maléique et
au moins un copolymère à blocs comprenant au moins un bloc hydrophobe et au moins un bloc hydrophile.
DEFINITIONS
Dans toute la présente demande, le terme « tuyau » fait référence à un élément sensiblement tubulaire qui présente une ou deux extrémités ouvertes selon sa dimension longitudinale qui comprend un ou plusieurs matériaux polymériques formant des couches successives et aucune couche de métal. Le tuyau peut être souple ou rigide. La section du tuyau n'est pas limitée selon l'invention.
Le terme « tube composite » fait référence à un tube de métal notamment en fonte dont la surface interne est recouverte d'une couche interne et dont la surface externe peut également être recouverte d'une couche de matériau polymérique.
Le terme « canalisation » fait référence à un assemblage de plusieurs tubes composites et/ou tuyaux.
Le terme « polymère » désigne les homopolymères, les copolymères, greffés ou non, et les polymères à blocs.
Le terme « matériau polymérique » désigne un mélange contenant au moins un polymère et en particulier un mélange d'au moins deux polymères.
Le terme « nettoyée » et tous les termes associés font référence à l'élimination du film bactérien susceptible de se former au bout d'un certain temps sur la surface interne du corps creux. Le « nettoyage » au sens de la présente invention comprend une étape de chloration par une solution aqueuse chlorée qui est précédée par une étape de décollage hydromécanique du biofïlm obtenu à 5 semaines. Le nettoyage plus ou moins facile est lié à l'accroche du biofïlm sur la surface interne du corps creux.
Par « activité antibactérienne », on entend la propriété qui consiste à limiter l'accroche et/ou la prolifération bactérienne sur un support, voire plus généralement l'accroche et/ou la prolifération des microorganismes tels que par exemple des champignons, des levures ou des virus.
FIGURES
La présente invention, ses caractéristiques et les divers avantages qu'elle procure apparaîtront mieux à la lecture des exemples qui suivent et qui font référence aux dessins annexés sur lesquels :
- la FIG. 1 représente le nombre de cellules bactérienne par cm2 de surface à la surface de différents films qui ont été maintenus pendant 24h dans de l'eau potable à 20°C ;
- la FIG. 2 représente le nombre de cellules bactérienne par cm2 de surface à la surface de différents films qui ont été maintenus pendant 72h dans de l'eau potable à
20°C ; et
- la FIG. 3 représente le nombre de cellules bactériennes par cm2 de surface à la surface de différents films qui ont été maintenus pendant 5 semaines dans de l'eau potable à 20°C puis nettoyés selon le protocole décrit ci-dessous.
EXEMPLES
On a réalisé par extrusion sur bi-vis contrarotative de type Haake® 1 , des films de 300μιη d'épaisseur à partir des compositions suivantes :
Composition 1 : homopolymère de fluorure de vinylidène greffé par irradiation avec des groupements anhydride d'acide maléique, comprenant en masse 0,6% d'anhydride maléique.
Composition 2 : homopolymère de fluorure de vinylidène de la composition 1 mélangé avec 2% en masse d'un copolymère à blocs comprenant un bloc hydrophile (25% en masse) formé d'un copolymère BA/HEMA (ratio massique 80/20), masse molaire en nombre : Mn = 9000 g/mol et un bloc hydrophobe (75% en masse) formé d'un ter polymère MMA/BA/HEMA, (68%/25,5%/6,5% en masse) ; masse molaire en nombre du copolymère à blocs : Mn = 23000 g/mol.
Composition 3 : idem que pour la composition 2 sauf qu'elle comprend 5% en poids du copolymère à blocs.
On a ensuite évalué les performances antibactériennes de ces films.
Evaluation des performances antibactériennes
L'évaluation des performances bactériennes est mise en œuvre selon le protocole suivant : Etape 1 : nettoyage des matériaux grâce à une solution de dodécylsulfate de sodium (SDS) à 40°C (0,1%) en poids) puis lavage par immersion dans une solution aqueuse d'HCl à 0,lM à 40°C.
Etape 2 : colonisation des matériaux dans un réacteur dans lequel de l'eau potable circule à un débit de 69 ml/h à 20°C. Le temps de séjour de l'eau dans le réacteur est de 12h. Les échantillons sont exposés à la lumière.
Etape 3 : marquage des bactéries avec un colorant (SYBR® green II R A Gel stain ΙΟ,ΟΟΟΧ concentré dans du DMSO et commercialisé par la société Thermo Fisher Scientifïc), puis comptage par un microscope à fluorescence. Pour chaque matériau, on réalise une lecture de 30 champs 100 x 100 μιη.
Les résultats après 24H de colonisation sont visibles sur la Fig. 1 tandis que les résultats après 72h de colonisation sont visibles sur la Fig. 2.
Sur les Fig. 1, 2 et 3, DU fait référence à un film de polyéthylène, PU fait référence à un film en polyuréthane, G3-1 fait référence à un film correspondant à la première composition, G3-2 correspond à un film de composition 2 et G3-3 à un film de composition 3.
On constate au vu des Fig. 1 et 2, que la quantité de bactéries qui s'est déposée après immersion du film dans de l'eau potable à 20°C pendant 24h ou 72 heures est moindre dans les cas des films G3-1 à G3-3. En effet, pour le matériau DU après 24H, le nombre de cellules de bactéries par cm2 est de 6000 et de 18300 après 72 heures. Pour les films de composition 1 à 3, il est inférieur à 170 cellules de bactéries par cm2 quelle que soit la formulation après 72 heures. S 'agissant du PVDF greffé, on constate bien ses propriétés antibactériennes car le nombre de cellules bactériennes par cm2 est égal à 298 au bout de 24 heures et < 170 au bout de 72 heures.
Les compositions en référence à l'invention évitent donc la colonisation bactérienne ; cet effet antibactérien est plus marqué lorsque le film contient un copolymère à blocs tels que défini en référence aux compositions 2 et 3 après 24h de colonisation. Après 72h, les valeurs sont en dessous du seuil de détection (< l,7xl02 cellules/cm2)
Evaluation de la facilité de nettoyage
L'évaluation de la facilité de nettoyage est mise en œuvre selon le protocole suivant : On utilise des échantillons qui ont été colonisés pendant 5 semaines dans l'eau potable. Etape 1 : Nettoyage hydrodynamique par augmentation de contrainte de cisaillement de 1 Pa à 5 Pa pendant 30 min.
Température de l'eau : 20°C ± FC.
Etape 2 : nettoyage hydrodynamique avec une solution aqueuse chlorée contenant 50mg Cl2/L à une contrainte de cisaillement de 1 Pa.
Etape 3 : décrochage des bactéries à la surface du matériau par ultrasons puis comptage des bactéries restantes par microscopie optique avec marquage des bactéries avec un colorant (SYBR® green II R A Gel stain ΙΟ,ΟΟΟΧ concentré dans du DMSO et commercialisé par la société Thermo Fisher Scientifïc).
Pour chaque matériau, on effectue une lecture de 30 champs 100 x 100 μιη.
Les résultats sont visibles sur la Fig. 3. On constate que le film bactérien a été complètement éliminé sur le film de composition 3. Sur le film DU, il reste 53000 bactéries/cm2 alors que pour le film de composition 1, le nombre de bactéries/cm2 est de 1000. Pour le film de composition 2, le film a été quasiment éliminé et en tout état de cause, éliminé de manière plus efficace que sur le film en matériau polyéthylène. Là encore, la présence du copolymère à blocs améliore les résultats.
Claims
1. Composition comprenant un polymère fluoré greffé par des fonctions anhydride d'acide maléique et au moins un copolymère à blocs comprenant au moins un bloc hydrophobe et au moins un bloc hydrophile.
2. Composition selon la revendication 1, dans laquelle ledit polymère fluoré est choisi parmi :
- les homo- et copolymères du fluorure de vinylidène (VDF) contenant de préférence au moins 50% en poids de VDF, le copolymère étant choisi parmi le chlorotrifluoroéthylène (CTFE), Phexafiuoropropylène (HFP), le trifiuoroéthylène (VF3) et le tétrafiuoroéthylène (TFE),
- les homo- et copolymères du trifiuoroéthylène (VF3),
- les copolymères, et notamment terpolymères, associant les restes des motifs chlorotrifluoroéthylène (CTFE), tétrafiuoroéthylène (TFE), hexafiuoropropylène (HFP) et/ou éthylène et éventuellement des motifs VDF et/ou VF3.
3. Composition selon l'une des revendications 1 ou 2, dans laquelle ledit polymère fluoré est un poly(fiuorure de vinylidène) (PVDF) homopolymère ou copolymère contenant en poids, au moins 50%> de VDF, plus préférentiellement au moins 75% et mieux encore au moins 85%.
4. Composition selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle la teneur en anhydride d'acide maléique dans le polymère fluoré greffé varie de 0,2 à 1,0 %, et de préférence de 0,4% à 0,7%> en poids par rapport au poids total du polymère fluoré.
5. Composition selon l'une quelconque des revendications précédentes, dans laquelle le copolymère à blocs comprend au moins un bloc hydrophile susceptible d'être obtenu à partir de monomères d'acrylate de n-butyle et de méthacrylate d'hydroxyéthyle, et au moins un bloc hydrophobe susceptible d'être obtenu à partir d'un monomère de méthacrylate de méthyle.
6. Composition selon la revendication 5, dans laquelle le bloc hydrophile est composé d'un copolymère statistique contenant, en poids, entre 99 et 50 %, préférentiellement entre 95 et 70 % de monomères d'acrylate de n-butyle et entre 1 et 50 %, préférentiellement entre 5 et 30 %, de monomères de méthacrylate d'hydroxyéthyle.
7. Composition selon l'une des revendications 5 ou 6, dans laquelle le bloc hydrophobe est composé d'au moins 50 % de polyméthacrylate de méthyle, le reste étant
formé d'un mélange de monomères méthacrylates ou acrylates, de préférence des monomères d'acrylate de n-butyle et de méthacrylate d'hydroxyéthyle.
8. Composition selon l'une des revendications précédentes, qui contient une proportion massique dudit copolymère à blocs comprise entre 1,5 et 6%, de préférence égale comprise entre 2 et 5%.
9. Utilisation d'une composition selon l'une quelconque des revendications 1 à 8 pour limiter la prolifération bactérienne sur une surface en milieu aqueux.
10. Corps creux pour le stockage ou le transport d'eau, notamment potable, comprenant au moins une couche interne en contact avec l'eau et une deuxième couche qui entoure ladite couche interne et qui est solidaire de cette dernière, ladite couche interne étant constituée de la composition selon l'une des revendications 1 à 8.
11. Corps creux selon la revendication 10 dans lequel ladite deuxième couche comprend au moins un polymère thermoplastique choisi dans la liste :
un polyamide (par exemple PA 6, 11, 12, 6,6, ...) ;
« un polymère acrylique, notamment un PMMA homo- ou copolymère comprenant plus de 50% en poids de méthacrylate de méthyle (MAM) ;
une polyoléfme (PE, PP, EPDM) ;
le polychlorure de vinyle (PVC) ;
le PVC chloré (C-PVC) ;
· le polyéthylène téréphtalate (PET) ;
l'EVOH (copolymère éthylène éthylène-alcool vinylique) ; le polyéthercétone (PEEK) ;
le polyoxyméthylène (acétal) ;
le polyéthersulfone ;
· un polyuréthane ;
un polymère fluoré tel que par exemple un PVDF, un polyfluorure de vinyle, un copolymère TFE-éthylène (ETFE), un copolymère TFE-HFP (FEP), un copolymère TFE-éthylène-HFP (EFEP), un copolymère TFE-HFP -VDF (THV) ou un PTFE.
12. Corps creux selon l'un des revendications 10 ou 11 choisi parmi les tuyaux ; les tubes composites comprenant un tube en métal, notamment en fonte, recouvert d'au moins ladite couche interne et de la deuxième couche de polymère; les canalisations comprenant les tubes et/ou les tuyaux précités et les réservoirs, tels que des bidons, tonneaux ou gourdes.
13. Procédé de fabrication du corps creux selon l'une des revendications 10 à 12, dans lequel on co extrude ladite couche interne et au moins une deuxième couche externe qui est disposée autour de ladite couche interne et solidaire de ladite couche interne.
14. Utilisation d'un polymère fluoré greffé avec des fonctions anhydride d'acide maléique, pour limiter l'accroche et/ou la prolifération bactérienne sur une surface en milieu aqueux.
15. Utilisation selon la revendication 14, dans laquelle ledit polymère fluoré greffé est un homopolymère de fluorure de vinylidène qui comprend en poids de 0,2 à 1,0 %, et de préférence de 0,4% à 0,7%, d'anhydride d'acide maléique.
