Abstract
본 발명의 이동 로봇은 본체의 전방의 청소구역 내 바닥을 향해 제 1 패턴의 광을 조사하는 제 1 패턴 조사부와, 상기 본체 전방으로 상향으로 제 2 패턴의 광을 조사하는 제 2 패턴 조사부를 포함하고, 상기 제 1 패턴 조사부와 상기 제 2 패턴 조사부에 의해 조사된 각 패턴의 광이 장애물에 입사된 영상을 영상 획득부를 통해 획득하여, 획득된 영상으로부터 패턴을 검출하여 장애물을 판단하도록 구성됨으로써, 주변의 장애물에 대한 정보를 바탕으로 복수의 장애물로 인하여 주행이 제한되는 구속상황인지 여부를 판단하고, 주변 장애물에 대한 정보를 바탕으로 탈출 경로를 설정하여 주행함으로써, 이동 로봇의 주행상태 및 장애물에 대한 빠른 판단과 동작이 가능하고 보다 효과적으로 구속상황을 탈출하여 주행할 수 있다.
