- the control unit 20 acquires the movement period T based on the monotonically increasing function of the end distance X.
- This monotonically increasing function may be a proportional function as shown in FIG. 3A or may be another function (linear or non-linear).
- FIG. 3B is a graph showing the relationship between the end magnification Z that is the magnification of the end scale 1 / RE with respect to the start scale 1 / RI and the movement period T.
- the end magnification Z is a value obtained by dividing the scale denominator RE of the end scale 1 / RE by the scale denominator RI of the start scale 1 / RI, and is RE / RI.
- the end magnification Z is 4 times.
- the end magnification Z is a value obtained by dividing the length of the real space corresponding to a certain distance (for example, 1 cm) on the end map ME by the length of the real space corresponding to the certain distance on the start map MI.
- the control unit 20 acquires the movement period T based on the monotonically increasing function of the end magnification Z.
- the monotonically increasing function may be a proportional function as shown in FIG. 3B or may be another function (linear or non-linear).
- the control unit 20 moves the longer one of the length of the movement period T obtained based on the end distance X and the length of the movement period T obtained based on the end magnification Z. Select as length of period T. Thereby, the possibility that the movement period T that is too short with respect to one of the end distance X or the end magnification Z is set can be reduced.
- the function of the display control module 21c allows the control unit 20 to start the reference portion P of the map M displayed on the display unit in the first part of the movement period T in which the reference position P gradually moves from the start position PI to the end position PE. The speed at which the map M moves is gradually increased. Further, by the function of the display control module 21c, the control unit 20 causes the reference position P of the map M displayed on the display unit to gradually move from the start position PI to the end position PE in the last part of the movement period T. The speed at which the map M moves is gradually reduced.
- FIG. 3C is a graph showing the relationship between the time t within the movement period T and the speed dx / dt at which the reference position P of the map M moves on the movement line H.
- the distance x is a distance from the start position PI on the movement line H to an arbitrary reference position P.
- the control unit 20 divides the movement period T into a start period TI, an intermediate period TK, and an end period TE. Then, the control unit 20 monotonously increases the speed dx / dt in the start period TI that is the first part of the movement period T. Further, the control unit 20 monotonously decreases the speed dx / dt in the end period TE that is the last part of the movement period T. Furthermore, the control unit 20 keeps the speed dx / dt constant in the intermediate period TK.
- the speed dx / dt does not necessarily increase and decrease monotonically linearly, and may increase and decrease monotonically nonlinearly.
- the control unit 20 sets the speed dx / dt in the intermediate period TK to a larger value as the end distance X is larger.
- the function of the display control module 21c causes the control unit 20 to display on the display unit during the movement period T in which the reference position P of the map M displayed on the display unit gradually moves from the start position PI to the end position PE.
- the scale 1 / R of the map M is gradually changed from the start scale 1 / RI to the end scale 1 / RE. That is, the control unit 20 sets the scale denominator R at a time other than the start time and the end time in the movement period T to a value between the scale denominator RI of the start scale 1 / RI and the scale denominator RE of the end scale 1 / RE.
- the control unit 20 sets the scale denominator R to a value closer to the scale denominator RE of the end scale 1 / RE as the time is closer to the end time of the movement period.
- the control unit 20 causes the reference position P of the map M displayed on the display unit to gradually move from the start position PI to the end position PE in the first part of the movement period T. , The rate at which the scale 1 / R of the map M changes gradually increases. Further, by the function of the display control module 21c, the control unit 20 causes the reference position P of the map M displayed on the display unit to gradually move from the start position PI to the end position PE in the last part of the movement period T. The speed at which the scale 1 / R of the map M changes gradually decreases.
- FIG. 3D is a graph showing the relationship between the time t within the movement period T and the speed dz / dt at which the scale 1 / R scale z of the map M changes.
- the magnification z is a value obtained by dividing the scale denominator R of the scale 1 / R of the map M at an arbitrary time t by the scale denominator RI of the start scale 1 / RI, and is R / RI.
- the control unit 20 monotonically increases the speed dz / dt in the start period TI, makes the speed dz / dt constant in the intermediate period TK, and monotonously decreases the speed dz / dt in the end period TE.
- the speed dz / dt does not necessarily increase / decrease linearly and monotonously, and may increase / decrease non-linearly.
- the control unit 20 sets the speed dz / dt in the intermediate period TK to a larger value as the end magnification Z is larger.
- a (discrete value) map M is displayed.
- the start map MI in which the destination G is easy to see at the start time of the movement period T is displayed, and the planned movement route Y is gradually reduced while reducing the scale 1 / R (widening the map M).
- the reference position P of the map M can be gradually moved to the reference position P (end position PE) of the end map ME that can be displayed as a whole. That is, at the time t between the start time of the movement period T when the start map MI indicated by the broken line in FIG. 2B is displayed and the end time of the movement period T when the end map ME indicated by the solid line is displayed, As shown in FIG. 2, a map M is displayed that has a reference position P between the start position PI and the end position PE and a scale 1 / R between the start scale 1 / RI and the end scale 1 / RE.
- the Rukoto is the start map MI in which the destination G is easy to see at the start time of the movement period T is displayed, and the planned movement route Y is gradually reduced while reducing the scale 1 / R (
- the start position PI is the reference position P of the start map MI when the destination G is designated, it can be said that the start position PI is the position of the map M on which the destination G is displayed. . Since the map M gradually moves from the start position PI to the end position PE that is the position of the end map ME where the entire planned travel route Y is displayed, the destination G and the entire planned travel route Y It is possible to easily grasp the positional relationship. That is, in order to gradually move the map M from the state where the destination G is displayed to the state where the entire scheduled route Y including the departure point S is displayed, the planned route Y is traced back from the destination G.
- Such a visual effect makes it easy to grasp the positional relationship between the destination G and the entire planned travel route Y. Since the departure point S that is the starting point of the scheduled movement route Y is also included in the entire planned movement route Y, the positional relationship between the destination G and the departure point S can be easily understood.
- the map can be moved slowly from the start position PI to the end position PE by lengthening the movement period T. Therefore, the change in the position of the map M can be easily recognized, and the positional relationship between the destination G and the planned movement route Y can be easily grasped.
- the movement of the map M can be prevented from suddenly starting, and the position of the map M can be changed. Can be easily recognized. It can be intuitively recognized that the movement of the map M is completed by gradually decreasing the speed dx / dt at which the map M moves in the final end period TE of the movement period T. In addition, it is possible to reduce the possibility that a sense of incongruity may occur due to the sudden movement of the map M.
- the scale 1 / R of the map M displayed on the display unit is gradually changed from the start scale 1 / RI to the end scale 1 / RE, so that the scale 1 / R of the map M is rapidly changed.
- the change can be suppressed, and the transition of the position of the map M can be easily recognized. If the change in the scale 1 / R of the map M is abrupt, there is a high possibility that the change in the position of the map M cannot be easily recognized even if the reference position P of the map M is not suddenly moved. Become.
- the length of the movement period T is set so as to increase as the difference between the start scale 1 / RI and the end scale 1 / RE increases, thereby suppressing an abrupt change in the scale 1 / R of the map M. And the transition of the position of the map M can be easily recognized.
- the transition of the position of the map M can be easily recognized.
- the change in the scale 1 / R of the map M is small in the configuration in which the scale 1 / R of the map M is gradually reduced in the last part of the movement period T. It can be intuitively recognized that the movement of the map M is finished. In addition, it is possible to reduce the possibility that a sense of incongruity may occur due to a sudden change in the scale 1 / R of the map M.
- map display processing Next, the map display process which the control part 20 performs by the function of the navigation program 21 is demonstrated.
- the map display process of this embodiment is a process executed when the destination setting button B1 is operated in a state where the start map MI of FIG. 2A is displayed.
- the control part 20 acquires the destination G by the function of the destination acquisition module 21a (step S100). Specifically, when receiving the touch operation on the destination setting button B1, the control unit 20 acquires the reference position P of the map M when the touch operation is received as the destination G designated by the user. That is, the control unit 20 acquires the reference position P of the start map MI, which is the map M when the destination G is designated, as the destination G.
- the control unit 20 acquires the position of the map M and the scale 1 / R that can display the entire planned travel route Y (step S120). That is, the control unit 20 acquires the end position PE that is the reference position P of the end map ME and the end scale 1 / RE that is the scale 1 / R of the end map ME.
- the end map ME is a map M that can display the entire planned travel route Y.
- the end position PE is the position of the midpoint of the straight line L connecting the starting point S and the destination G.
- the end scale 1 / RE is the maximum scale 1 / RE at which the entire travel route Y can be displayed in the map M when the map M having the end position PE as the reference position P is displayed.
- R (a discrete value at a scale of 1 / R at which the map M is most detailed).
- the control unit 20 determines whether or not the scale of the map M that can display the entire planned travel route Y is larger than the current map M (step S130). That is, the control unit 20 determines whether or not the end scale 1 / RE that is the scale 1 / R of the end map ME is larger than the start scale 1 / RI that is the scale 1 / R of the start map MI. That is, the control unit 20 determines whether or not the map M is widened (zoomed out) when the state is changed from the state in which the start map MI is displayed to the state in which the end map ME is displayed.
- the control unit 20 searches for a planned movement route Y that connects the departure point S (current location of the vehicle) to the destination G. .
- the control unit 20 uses the function of the display control module 21c to move.
- a map M capable of displaying the entire planned route Y is drawn (step S140). That is, the control unit 20 draws the end map ME.
- the control unit 20 displays a map M that can display the entire travel route Y (step S150). That is, the control unit 20 displays the end map ME on a touch panel display as a display unit, thereby switching from a state in which the start map MI is displayed to a state in which the end map ME is displayed (the reference position P is gradually moved). Without).
- the start is a case where the map M is refined (zoomed in) when switching from the state of displaying the map MI to the state of displaying the end map ME. That is, there is a high possibility that the entire travel route Y can be displayed on the start map MI, and even if the destination map G is suddenly switched from the state where the start map MI is displayed to the state where the end map ME is displayed. It can be considered that it is easy to grasp the positional relationship with the planned movement route Y. Therefore, the process of gradually moving the reference position P of the map M in the movement period T can be omitted.
- step S130: Y when it is determined that the scale 1 / R of the map M that can display the entire planned travel route Y is larger than the current map M (step S130: Y), the control unit 20 moves by the function of the display control module 21c. A map M that can display the entire planned route Y is drawn (step S160). That is, the control unit 20 draws the end map ME as in step S140.
- the control unit 20 sets the position of the map M and the scale 1 / R in the movement period T by the function of the display control module 21c (step S180).
- the control unit 20 sets the movement period T longer as the end distance X and the end magnification Z are larger.
- the control unit 20 sets the reference position P and the scale 1 / R of the map M at each time t in the movement period T.
- the control unit 20 divides the movement period T into a start period TI, an intermediate period TK, and an end period TE. In the start period TI, the reference position P and the scale 1 are divided.

That is, the control unit 20 sets the reference position P and the scale 1 / R of the map M at each time t based on the speeds dx / dt and dz / dt at each time t set in step S180. Thereby, the control unit 20 gradually moves the reference position P of the map M from the start position PI toward the end position PE in the movement period T, and the scale 1 / R of the map M ends from the start scale 1 / RI.
- the touch panel display as the display unit is controlled so as to gradually change to the scale 1 / RE.
- the control unit 20 draws in advance an end map ME that can display the entire planned travel route Y (step S160), and cuts out a part of the end map ME to map the map M at each time t. Is generated. That is, the control unit 20 sets the position and size of the region to be cut out from the end map ME based on the reference position P and the magnification z set for each time t, whereby the map M at each time t (in FIG. 2B). A map M in a one-dot chain line) is generated, and display data of the map M is output to a touch panel display.
- the control unit 20 may draw a map M corresponding to the magnification z and the reference position P at each time t at each time t.
- step S190 the end map ME is finally displayed as in step S150.
- the control unit 20 displays a guidance start button B2 on the touch panel display together with the end map ME, and performs guidance of the planned movement route Y when the guidance start button B2 is operated.
- the length of the movement period T is set based on the end distance X, which is the distance from the start position PI to the end position PE.
- the length of the movement period T is independent of the end distance X. There may be.
- the length of the movement period T may be independent of the end magnification Z.
- the length of the movement period T may depend only on the end distance X, or may depend only on the end magnification Z.
- the length of the movement period T may be set to a predetermined fixed length, or may be set to a length set by the user.
- the length of the movement period T may be set longer as the route length of the planned movement route Y is longer.
- the movement period T is not necessarily divided into the start period TI, the intermediate period TK, and the end period TE, and either the start period TI or the end period TE does not have to be provided. That is, in the movement period T, the speed dx / dt, dz / dt at which the magnification z of the reference position P and the scale 1 / R changes monotonically increases, and the speeds dx / dt, dz / dt are constant. It may be configured only by the intermediate period TK.
- the speed dx / dt, dz / dt monotonously decreases during the intermediate period TK in which the speeds dx / dt, dz / dt at which the magnification z of the reference position P and the scale 1 / R changes are constant. It may be configured only by the end period TE. Further, in the movement period T, the speed dx / dt, dz / dt at which the magnification z of the reference position P and the scale 1 / R changes monotonically increases, and the speeds dx / dt, dz / dt monotonously decrease. It may be configured only by the end period TE.
- the speeds dx / dt and dz / dt at which the magnification z of the reference position P and the scale 1 / R changes may monotonously increase, may be constant, or monotonic. May decrease.
- the speeds dx / dt and dz / dt at which the magnification z of the reference position P and the scale 1 / R changes in the entire period of the movement period T may be defined by a non-linear function that is convex upward.
- the start period TI, the intermediate period TK, and the end period TE may not be common to the reference position P, the changing speed dx / dt, and the changing speed dz / dt of the scale 1 / R. .
- the speed dx / dt is set according to the start period TI, the intermediate period TK, and the end period TE, while the speed z of the scale 1 / R changes.
- the speed dz / dt may be set so as to be constant throughout the movement period T.
- the reference position P of the map M is gradually moved during the movement period T. You may let them. Even in such a case, it is possible to prevent the map M from switching suddenly, and to reduce the user's uncomfortable feeling.
- the present invention only needs to be configured so as to gradually move the reference position P of the map M at least during the movement period T. Therefore, the control unit 20 gradually moves the reference position P of the map M while maintaining the start scale 1 / RI of the start map MI, and sets the scale 1 / R of the map M when the reference position P moves to the end position PE.
- the start scale 1 / RI may be switched to the end scale 1 / RE. Further, the control unit 20 may first switch the scale 1 / R of the map M from the start scale 1 / RI to the end scale 1 / RE, and then gradually move the reference position P of the map M to the end position PE. Good.

- the map position such as the start position or the end position may be, for example, a position represented by a specific position on the display unit among positions on the map.
- the specific position may be the center position of the map display area where the map is displayed on the display unit, or may be any one of the four corners.
- the destination is the final destination of the planned travel route, and a transit point in the middle of the planned travel route may be set in addition to the destination.
- the departure place may be, for example, the current position of the vehicle or the user, or may be a position set by the user.
- the planned travel route is a route connecting the departure point to the destination, and may be a route searched after at least the destination is set.
- the display of the entire planned travel route may be that all parts constituting the planned travel route may be displayed, or the starting point and the destination may be displayed.
- the planned movement route may be single or plural. When there are a plurality of planned travel routes, the position of the map on which all the plurality of planned travel routes are displayed is the end position.

- the display control unit may gradually increase the moving speed of the map in the first part of the moving period in which the position of the map displayed on the display unit gradually moves from the start position to the end position. . Thereby, it can suppress that the movement of a map starts suddenly, and can recognize the transition of the position of a map easily.
- the display control unit may gradually reduce the speed at which the map moves in the last part of the movement period in which the position of the map displayed on the display unit gradually moves from the start position to the end position. .
- the display control unit may gradually reduce the speed at which the map moves in the last part of the movement period in which the position of the map displayed on the display unit gradually moves from the start position to the end position.
- the display control unit obtains a start scale which is a scale of the map when the destination is specified, and an end scale which is a scale of the map that can display the entire planned travel route, and displays it on the display unit.
- the scale of the map displayed on the display unit is gradually changed from the start scale to the end scale.
