Definitions
- the present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a sheet-like member and an apparatus for manufacturing absorbent articles such as disposable diapers.
- a continuous sheet is conveyed to a processing line as an example of a processing unit by supplying the continuous sheet with the continuous direction of the continuous sheet as the conveying direction.
- a suitable processing apparatus manufactures a diaper by processing each part used as a diaper in the said continuous sheet intermittently in a conveyance direction.
- the processing apparatus normally processes a continuous sheet based on a synchronization signal that defines a product pitch in the conveying direction so as to process each part of the diaper.
- the continuous sheet since the continuous sheet is a non-woven fabric or a film, it may have material non-uniformity such as basis weight at a large pitch in the continuous direction.
- the material of the continuous sheet may fluctuate with a large period corresponding to the length of tens to hundreds of diapers in the continuous direction. In that case, on the continuous sheet, portions that are easily stretched and portions that are difficult to stretch are alternately present in the above-described large cycle.
- FIG. 1 is a graph for explaining this.
- the horizontal axis indicates the position in the conveyance direction, and the vertical axis indicates the amount of deviation of the position of the continuous sheet from the appropriate position in the conveyance direction. Note that plus is shifted downstream, and minus is shifted upstream.
- the horizontal axis also shows the product pitch P1, which is a pitch corresponding to one diaper.
- the continuous sheet has several tens to several hundreds of portions that are located downstream from the proper proper position and portions that are located upstream. It appears repeatedly with a large period corresponding to the diaper of the minute.
- the processing apparatus processes the continuous sheet with the expansion amount fluctuated in this way at the product pitch P1 based on the synchronization signal, it cannot be processed at an appropriate position on the continuous sheet.
- a trace of processing remaining on the continuous sheet is detected, and processing is performed on the continuous sheet by correcting the processing timing on the processing apparatus based on the detection result. It is also possible.
- the present invention has been made in view of the conventional problems as described above, and an object thereof is to enable processing at an appropriate position on a continuous sheet.
- the main invention for achieving the above object is: A method for producing a sheet-like member according to an absorbent article based on a continuous sheet, Supplying the continuous sheet by feeding the continuous sheet to the processing unit by conveying the continuous sheet with the continuous direction of the continuous sheet as the conveying direction; A processing step in which the processing unit intermittently processes in the transport direction for each portion of the continuous sheet that becomes the absorbent article at a predetermined position in the transport direction; Detecting a trace of the processing remaining on the continuous sheet and outputting a detection result, and In the supplying step, the tension value in the transport direction of the continuous sheet when the sheet is fed to the processing unit based on the detection result is adjusted. .
- An apparatus for producing a sheet-like member according to an absorbent article based on a continuous sheet A supply processing unit that feeds and supplies the continuous sheet to a processing unit by conveying the continuous sheet with the continuous direction of the continuous sheet as a conveying direction; A processing device that performs processing intermittently in the transport direction for each portion that becomes the absorbent article in the continuous sheet in the processing unit; A detection device that detects a trace of the processing remaining on the continuous sheet and outputs a detection result; and The supply processing unit is an apparatus for manufacturing a sheet-like member according to an absorbent article, wherein the supply processing unit adjusts a tension value in the transport direction of the continuous sheet when being fed to the processing unit based on the detection result. is there.
- processing can be performed at an appropriate position on the continuous sheet.

- FIG. 2B is a cross-sectional view taken along the line BB in FIG. 2A.
- It is a schematic plan view which shows the production
- It is a schematic side view of the production line LM of the diaper 1 which concerns on this embodiment.
- It is a schematic side view of the backsheet processing system L4a.
- FIG. 8A is a schematic plan view of a backsheet processing system L4a of the present embodiment
- FIG. 8B is a schematic plan view of a backsheet processing system L4a of a modification.
- FIG. 9B is a schematic side view in which a CC view in FIG. 9A and a DD arrow view in FIG. 9A are connected and shown on one plane.
- a method for producing a sheet-like member according to an absorbent article based on a continuous sheet Supplying the continuous sheet by feeding the continuous sheet to the processing unit by conveying the continuous sheet with the continuous direction of the continuous sheet as the conveying direction; A processing step in which the processing unit intermittently processes in the transport direction for each portion of the continuous sheet that becomes the absorbent article at a predetermined position in the transport direction; Detecting a trace of the processing remaining on the continuous sheet and outputting a detection result, and In the supplying step, the tension value in the transport direction of the continuous sheet when the sheet is fed to the processing unit based on the detection result is adjusted. .
- the tension of the continuous sheet when detecting traces of processing remaining on the continuous sheet and feeding to the processing unit based on the detection result Adjust the value. Therefore, due to the non-uniformity of the material of the continuous sheet itself, it is possible to suppress fluctuations in the extension amount in the conveyance direction of the continuous sheet that can occur when the continuous sheet is fed while keeping the tension value constant, As a result, processing can be performed at an appropriate position on the continuous sheet.
- a method for producing a sheet-like member according to such an absorbent article When the detection result indicates that the position of the trace of processing is located downstream of the target position on the continuous sheet, the tension value is increased. When the detection result indicates that the position of the trace of processing is located upstream of the target position in the transport direction, it is desirable to reduce the tension value.
- the tension value is decreased. Therefore, the fluctuation
- a method for producing a sheet-like member according to such an absorbent article In the processing unit, the continuous sheet is conveyed along a predetermined conveyance path, The length of the transport path in the transport direction is preferably maintained constant.
- the length of the conveyance path in the processing unit is maintained constant. Therefore, it can prevent that the timing of the said process shift
- a method for producing a sheet-like member according to such an absorbent article When the processing is an upstream processing, another processing is performed on each portion that becomes the absorbent article in the continuous sheet at a position downstream of the position in the transport direction where the upstream processing is performed. It is performed intermittently in the transport direction as downstream processing, It is desirable to detect the trace of the machining at a position downstream of the position where the downstream machining is performed.
- the method for manufacturing a sheet-like member related to such an absorbent article it is possible to grasp the amount of deviation from the proper position of the trace of upstream processing with high accuracy. That is, since the variation in the extension amount of the continuous sheet can be accumulated as the position downstream in the transport direction, the deviation amount of the trace of the upstream processing from the appropriate position on the continuous sheet is the position where the upstream processing is performed. The position downstream of the position where the downstream processing is performed is more obvious than the position between the position where the downstream processing is performed and the position where the downstream processing is performed. Therefore, according to said manufacturing method, it becomes possible to grasp
- a method for producing a sheet-like member according to such an absorbent article In the supplying step, a feeding device for feeding the continuous sheet from the material coil is used.
- the continuous sheet In the feeding device, the continuous sheet is fed and conveyed with the X direction as the feeding direction in plan view, and the processing unit uses the Y direction that intersects the X direction in plan view as the conveying direction.
- the continuous sheet Being transported, In the transport direction, the continuous sheet is wound around a rod-shaped transport direction changing member disposed at a position between the feeding device and the processing unit, so that the transport direction of the continuous sheet is the X direction.
- the tension adjusting device To the Y direction, It is desirable that the tension adjusting device is disposed at a position between the transport direction changing member and the processing unit in the transport direction.
- the tension adjusting device is disposed close to the processing unit. Therefore, the continuous sheet with the adjusted tension value can be reliably sent to the processing unit. Further, there is a risk of facilitating fluctuations in the extension amount of the continuous sheet due to sliding between the conveyance direction changing member and the continuous sheet.
- the tension value of the continuous sheet at the time of feeding into the processing unit is adjusted based on the above detection result, thereby suppressing fluctuations in the extension amount. To do. Therefore, it is possible to effectively enjoy the above-described effect of processing at an appropriate position on the continuous sheet.
- a method for producing a sheet-like member according to such an absorbent article When the tension adjusting device is the first tension adjusting device, For controlling the feeding operation of the feeding device between the feeding device and the conveyance direction changing member in the feeding direction so that a tension value of the continuous sheet fed from the feeding device becomes a predetermined value. It is desirable that a second tension adjusting device is disposed.
- the continuous sheet is the above-described conveyance direction changing member while the tension value is adjusted to the predetermined value by the second tension adjusting device. Go through position. Therefore, even when the optimum tension value when passing through the conveyance direction changing member and the optimum tension value when feeding into the processing section are different, it is possible to cope with no major problem.
- a method for producing a sheet-like member according to such an absorbent article In the processing unit, it is preferable that a conveyance speed value at which the continuous sheet is conveyed in the conveyance direction is changed.
- a method for producing a sheet-like member according to such an absorbent article It is desirable to shift the timing of performing the processing in the processing step based on the detection result.
- the timing for performing the processing is shifted based on the detection result. Therefore, processing can be reliably performed at an appropriate position on the continuous sheet.
- a method for producing a sheet-like member according to such an absorbent article When the continuous sheet is a first continuous sheet, In a merging position downstream of the position where the processing is performed in the transport direction, a continuous sheet different from the first continuous sheet is fed as a second continuous sheet and joined to the first continuous sheet. desirable.
- a sheet-like member having a first continuous sheet and a second continuous sheet can be manufactured.
- a method for producing a sheet-like member according to such an absorbent article A second supply step of feeding and feeding the second continuous sheet to the second processing unit by conveying the second continuous sheet with the continuous direction of the second continuous sheet as the conveying direction; A second processing step in which the second processing section intermittently performs a second processing in the transport direction on each portion of the second continuous sheet that becomes the absorbent article at a predetermined position in the transport direction; A second detection step of detecting a trace of the second processing remaining on the second continuous sheet and outputting a second detection result, In the second supply step, the tension value in the transport direction of the continuous sheet when feeding to the second processing unit based on the second detection result is adjusted, It is desirable that the merging position is located downstream of the position where the second processing is performed in the transport direction.
- the first continuous sheet and the second continuous sheet are bonded together in a state in which the variation in the elongation amount is suppressed. Therefore, it is possible to prevent problems such as the shape of the absorbent article and variations in dimensions that may occur when the first and second continuous sheets are joined in a state where fluctuations are not suppressed.
- a method for producing a sheet-like member according to such an absorbent article It is desirable to detect the trace of the processing on the first continuous sheet at a position downstream of the joining position in the transport direction.
- the processing trace of the first continuous sheet is detected at a position downstream of the joining position. Therefore, it is possible to secure a large distance from the position at which the above processing is performed to the position to be detected in the transport direction, and thereby, the amount of deviation of the processing trace from the appropriate position on the first continuous sheet is easily manifested. In the state, the trace of the processing can be detected. As a result, it is possible to grasp the shift amount of the trace of the processing from the appropriate position with high accuracy.
- both the detection of the trace of the processing related to the first continuous sheet and the detection of the trace of the second processing related to the second continuous sheet can be performed by the same imaging device. Therefore, the apparatus configuration can be simplified.
- An apparatus for producing a sheet-like member according to an absorbent article based on a continuous sheet A supply processing unit that feeds and supplies the continuous sheet to a processing unit by conveying the continuous sheet with the continuous direction of the continuous sheet as a conveying direction; A processing device that performs processing intermittently in the transport direction for each portion that becomes the absorbent article in the continuous sheet in the processing unit; A detection device that detects a trace of the processing remaining on the continuous sheet and outputs a detection result; and The supply processing unit is an apparatus for manufacturing a sheet-like member according to an absorbent article, wherein the supply processing unit adjusts a tension value in the transport direction of the continuous sheet when being fed to the processing unit based on the detection result. is there.

- the base material 1a is cut at the product pitch P1 in the transport direction. And thereby, the most downstream part 1p of each part 1p used as a diaper in the base material 1a is cut off, and as a result, the diaper 1 is produced
- FIG. 4 is a schematic side view of the production line LM for the diaper 1.
- the production line LM includes a backsheet processing system L4a that processes the continuous sheet 4a of the backsheet, a topsheet processing system L3a that processes the continuous sheet 3a of the topsheet, an absorber generation system L2 that generates the absorber 2, A base material processing system L1a for processing the base material 1a of the diaper.

Each of them faces the direction defined by both the up-down direction and the front-rear direction according to the position in the transport direction.
- the width direction of each of the continuous sheets 4a and 3a of the back sheet and the top sheet is parallel to the CD direction.

- the backsheet processing line L4aK predetermined processing is performed on the continuous sheet 4a of the backsheet that is supplied from the backsheet supply line L4aS and conveyed in the conveyance direction (corresponding to a processing step).
- the back sheet supply line L4aS targets the feeding device 41 for feeding the continuous sheet 4a of the back sheet from the material coil 4C, and the tension value (N) in the conveyance direction of the continuous sheet 4a fed and conveyed by the device 41.
- a tension adjusting device 43 that adjusts the value.
- the feeding device 41 includes a rotation shaft portion 41a along the CD direction, and a servo motor (not shown) as a drive source that drives and rotates the rotation shaft portion 41a. - the feeding speed value (mpm) of the rotating shaft portion 41a is changed so that the size of the loop becomes constant. For example, if the tension value is greater than the target value, the loop will be smaller. Therefore, if the tension value is smaller than the target value, correct the feed speed value command value so that the loop becomes larger. Since the loop becomes larger, the feeding speed value command value is corrected so as to decrease so that the loop becomes smaller. Such correction is repeatedly performed at a predetermined control cycle. And thereby, the tension value of the continuous sheet 4a in the position of the dancer roll 43RD is adjusted so that it may become said target value. Incidentally, when it is desired to change the target value, it can be done by controlling the actuator and changing the magnitude of the load FD.

It has patterned unit processing operations that should be repeated for it.
- the unit processing operation and the unit signal are associated with each other in a one-to-one correspondence by position control.
- a rotation operation for the product pitch P1 is associated as the unit processing operation. That is, the synchronization signal is transmitted to the servo motor of the rotary drum 45D, and the position of the synchronization signal is controlled so as to rotate by a rotation angle corresponding to the product pitch P1 for each unit signal of the synchronization signal. More specifically, the position of the servo motor of the rotating drum 45D is controlled so that the position where the leakage preventing sheet 5 is sucked and held on the outer peripheral surface 45Ds becomes the command position in the rotation direction Dc45 indicated by the synchronization signal.
- the leak-proof sheet 5 disposed on the outer peripheral surface 45Ds with the product pitch P1 is conveyed in the rotational direction Dc45 by the product pitch P1.
- Such a synchronization signal is generated by an appropriate control unit (not shown) such as a sequencer or a computer. That is, the control unit includes a processor and a memory, and a program for generating a synchronization signal is stored in advance in the memory. Then, the processor reads out the program from the memory and executes it, thereby repeatedly generating a unit signal of the synchronization signal.
- the generation of the synchronization signal may be performed by an electric circuit, or more specifically, the synchronization signal may be generated by detecting a unit processing operation performed by another basic device with an appropriate detector. good.
- a rotary encoder (not shown) for detecting the rotational operation is provided on a cutter roll 116u (see FIG. 4) of an end cut device 116 that is generated by cutting the diaper 1 from a diaper substrate 1a.
- the unit signal may be output every time one diaper 1 is cut and generated from the base material 1a in conjunction with the rotation operation of the cutter roll 116u.
- the target tape joining device 47 also rotates and rotates the rotating drum 47D that can rotate around the rotation axis along the CD direction with the outer peripheral surface 47Ds facing the conveying path of the continuous sheet 4a of the back sheet. And a servo motor (not shown) as a drive source. An adsorption force is generated on the outer peripheral surface 47Ds of the rotary drum 47D by intake air or the like. As a result, a plurality of target tapes 7, 7... Are formed on the outer peripheral surface 47Ds at the product pitch P1 in the rotation direction Dc47. Are held side by side.

- the rotating operation of the rotating drum 47D is basically performed based on the synchronization signal as in the case of the leak-proof sheet joining device 45 described above. That is, the position of the servo motor of the rotary drum 47D is controlled so that the position where the target tape 7 is sucked and held on the outer peripheral surface 47Ds becomes the command position in the rotation direction Dc47 indicated by the synchronization signal.
- the target tape 7 arranged at the product pitch P1 on the outer peripheral surface 47Ds is conveyed in the rotational direction Dc47 by the product pitch P1.
- the continuous sheet 4a of the back sheet is also a sheet having the material non-uniformity as described in the opening problem. Therefore, the problem described in the same problem may occur. That is, even if the backsheet supply line L4aS sends the continuous sheet 4a to the backsheet processing line L4aK at a constant tension value (N), the extension amount of the continuous sheet 4a on the processing line L4aK may vary with a large cycle. (See FIG. 1), as a result, the processing of the continuous sheet 4a on the processing line L4aK, that is, the joining of the leakage-proof sheet 5 and the joining of the target tape 7 are performed at appropriate positions on the continuous sheet 4a. Is difficult. As a result, the position of the joint portion of the leak-proof sheet 5 and the position of the joint portion of the target tape 7 may be shifted in the transport direction from an appropriate position (hereinafter also referred to as a target position) on the continuous sheet 4a.
- a target position an appropriate position
- a joining portion (corresponding to a processing trace) of the leak-proof sheet 5 in the continuous sheet 4a is detected (corresponding to a detection process), and the tension adjustment of the backsheet supply line L4aS is performed based on the detection result.
- the target value of the tension value (N) related to the device 43 is changed, thereby adjusting the tension value when feeding into the backsheet processing line L4aK.
- the target value of the tension value is set.

- the imaging device 48C continues at a position P48 in the transport direction between the arrangement position P7 of the target tape joining device 47 and the above-described joining position Pj (hereinafter also referred to as the imaging position P48).
- the sheet 4a is imaged to generate image data of the continuous sheet 4a.
- the imaging device 48C receives the above-described synchronization signal. Therefore, the imaging operation is performed every time the rotation angle value of the synchronization signal matches a specified rotation angle value recorded in advance in the memory of the imaging device 48C.
- the imaging operation is performed with a field of view (angle of view) such that at least one leak-proof sheet 5 enters the captured image in the conveyance direction.
- the control unit 48CN obtains information on the deviation amount of the joining position from the target position on the continuous sheet 4a of the back sheet by analyzing the image data transmitted from the imaging device 48C.
- the joint position on the image data is acquired by binarization processing or the like, the amount of deviation between this position and the target position on the image data recorded in advance in the memory of the control unit 48CN is calculated, and this is calculated.
- the target position is, for example, that the continuous sheet 4a has no material non-uniformity
- the joint position of the leak-proof sheet 5 is the above-described imaging position when the sheet 4a extends evenly over its entire length. It is a virtual position that should exist.
- Such a target position can be known in advance through an actual machine experiment or the like.
- the target value of the tension value of the tension adjusting device 43 is changed based on the information on the displacement amount of the position. For example, when the information on the amount of deviation indicates that “the joining position is located downstream in the transport direction from the target position”, the control unit 48CN multiplies the amount of deviation by a predetermined gain. When the target value of the tension value is made larger than the current target value by the adjusted amount, while it indicates that the ⁇ joining position is located upstream of the target position in the transport direction '' The tension value target value is made smaller than the current target value by an adjustment amount multiplied by a predetermined gain.
- the imaging position P48 may be set between the former position P5 and the latter position P7.
- fluctuations in the extension amount of the continuous sheet 4a of the back sheet can be accumulated closer to the downstream position in the conveyance direction, and therefore, the deviation amount of the joining position of the leak-proof sheet 5 from the target position on the continuous sheet 4a.
- the target tape joining device 47 is located downstream in the transport direction from the position P7 where the target tape 7 is joined, as in the example of FIG.
- the imaging position P48 is preferably located, and more preferably, it is set to a position immediately before the joining position Pj.
- the “immediately preceding position” referred to here is an arbitrary position within 2 m upstream from the merge position Pj, and more preferably an arbitrary position within 1 m.
- the rotation operation of the rotary drum 45D of the leak-proof sheet joining device 45 may be controlled based on the information on the positional deviation amount. That is, based on the information on the amount of positional deviation described above, the timing at which the rotary drum 45D of the leakage preventing sheet joining device 45 sends the leakage preventing sheet 5 to the aforementioned facing position P4a1 is shifted from the timing indicated by the synchronization signal. May be.
- the control unit 48CN shifts the command position to the upstream side in the rotational direction Dc45 by an adjustment amount obtained by multiplying the deviation amount by a predetermined gain, while “the position where the leakage prevention sheet 5 is joined is located upstream in the transport direction from the target position.
- the command position is shifted downstream in the rotational direction Dc45 by an adjustment amount obtained by multiplying the shift amount by a predetermined gain.
- the same timing shift control as described above may be performed on the target tape joining device 47. That is, the timing at which the rotary drum 47D of the target tape joining device 47 sends the target tape 7 to the above-described facing position P4a2 is shifted from the timing indicated by the synchronization signal based on the information on the amount of positional deviation described above. good.
- the continuous sheet 4a of the back sheet is conveyed along a predetermined conveyance path.
- the backsheet processing line L4aK is not provided with a roll that reciprocates in a predetermined direction like the dancer roll 43RD.
- the length of the conveyance path is kept constant. Therefore, it is possible to effectively prevent the leakage prevention sheet 5 and the target tape 7 from being joined based on the synchronization signal from being greatly displaced from the target position on the continuous sheet 4a.
- the conveyance speed value (mpm) of the continuous sheet 4a of the back sheet in the back sheet processing line L4aK can be appropriately changed according to the production status of the production line LM.
- the conveyance speed value (mpm) of the continuous sheet 4a in the back sheet supply line L4aS can also change.
- the back sheet supply line L4aS adjusts the tension value of the continuous sheet 4a when it is fed to the back sheet processing line L4aK based on the amount of positional deviation, thereby changing the amount of expansion. Suppress. Therefore, even when the conveyance speed value is changed in this way, the leak-proof sheet 5 and the target tape 7 can be reliably bonded to the target position on the continuous sheet 4a.
