 特定の事例によれば、ファスニングテープであって、ファスニングテープは、ファスニングテープの底面に隣接して配置された少なくとも1個の不織柔軟布層と、少なくとも1個の不織柔軟布層をファスニングテープの底面に接続している複数の付着部と、少なくとも1個の不織柔軟布層とファスニングテープの底面との間に開放空間を各々形成する複数の非付着部と、を備える。複数の非付着部の各々は、複数の付着部に隣接して、またはそれらの間に配置され、複数の非付着部の少なくとも1個は、少なくとも1個の不織柔軟布層の側縁に隣接した片持ち領域であり、側縁はファスニングテープの底面に付着していない片持ち部である。

 図1A~図11は、ファスニングテープの非限定な実施例を図示している。種々の図面において異なる参照番号を使用しているが、図面のいずれに関して図示または説明された特徴のいずれも追加の実施例を提示するために包含、結合、代替または省略できる。
 ファスニングテープとファスニングテープを埋込む構成要素発泡体との付着強さを増大させる方法で膜と結合させたファスニングテープの種々の非限定実施例を開示する。一部実施例において、図10Aおよび図10Bに示すように、ファスニングテープ(150、250、350、450、550、650、750、850、950)は、複数のフックおよび/またはループ50を含む。ファスニングテープの側縁(102、202、302、402、502、602、702、802、902)は、外タブ(103、203、303、403、503、603、703、803、903)を含んでもよいし、または外タブを備えず概ね直線状であってもよい。また、図10Aおよび図10Bに示すように、ファスニングテープ51には複数のフック領域52への構成要素発泡体の浸入を抑制、防止するための壁要素53が複数のフック領域51の周囲に形成されている。
 一般に、ファスニングテープを構成要素発泡体の内部に埋める場合、ファスニングテープはその底面を露出しファスニングテープが裏返しで型室に置かれるように反転される。その後、構成要素発泡体が液体またはゼラチン状物質として型室に導入される。構成要素発泡体はファスニングテープ51の壁要素53によって、フック領域52への樹脂の浸入が抑制されるとともに硬化し、それによりファスニングテープの底面は硬化した構成要素発泡体構造1000内に埋められる。図10Bに示すように、ファスニングテープは、ファスニングテープの上面が発泡体構造1000の上面1001とほぼ面一であり、外タブ(103、203、303、403、503、603、703、803、903)が発泡体構造1000内に埋められるように発泡体構造1000内に凹設され得る。発泡体構造1000は露出したフックおよび/またはループ50によって他の構成要素に付着できる。しかし、発泡体構造1000のフックおよび/またはループ50との他の構成要素の付着強さは、構成要素発泡体構造1000に付着し続けるファスニングテープに左右される。一部の現行設計はファスニングテープと構成要素発泡体との直接的な付着に頼ってきたが、それは特に信頼できる境界面ではない。
 図1A~図9Cは、改良した付着システム用のファスニングテープ(150、250、350、450、550、650、750、850、950)の非限定実施例を図示している。ファスニングテープを構成要素発泡体に付着させる効果を増大するために、ファスニングテープの底面または下面は1個以上の膜(101、201、301、401、501、601、701、801、901)を含む。1個以上の膜(101、201、301、401、501、601、701、801、901)は、例えば織成材料、編成材料、布地、メッシュまたは網材料、不織材料、柔軟不織布、絡み合い繊維シート、プラスチックフィルム地の絡み合い繊維、または他の任意の適格な材料を含む任意の適格な材料を用いて作成してもよい。一部実施例において、1個以上の膜はファスニングテープの底面の全体を覆うか、または概ね覆っている。
 1個以上の膜は、ファスニングテープが構成要素発泡体内への埋込みのために金型に挿入される前に1個以上の付着部(120、220、320、420、520、620、720、820、920)でファスニングテープの底面に付着される。付着部は様々な方向の直線として(図1A~図6Cおよび図8A~図9C参照)、または規則形状による個別領域として(図7A~図7C参照)示しているが、付着部は曲線、波形、鋸歯状または任意の他の適切な形式の線または形状であってよい。1個以上の付着部は、ダイレクトラミネーション、ヒートラミネーション、超音波ラミネーション、化学的ボンディング、物理的ボンディング、溶接、プレス、接着(または他の化学的締結装置)、または任意の他の適切な付着方法の1つ以上によってファスニングテープに付着され得る。
 以下でさらに詳細に説明する通り、ファスニングテープと構成要素発泡体とのさらなる付着を促すために、膜は、金型に導入された時に構成要素発泡体が流入する開放空間またはポケットの形態の1個以上の非付着部(104、105、204、205、305、404、504、604、705、707、805、904)を含み得る。場合によっては、非付着部は構成要素発泡体がファスニングテープの側縁および/または端部から非付着部に流入できるように配置されるが、非付着部の一部または全部がファスニングテープの周囲から出入りできない場合もある。場合によっては、膜は十分に多孔性であって、(液体またはゼラチン形態の)構成要素発泡体が膜を部分的または完全に透過して開放空間またはポケットに進入できる。非付着部の内部で硬化した構成要素発泡体は、構成要素発泡体とファスニングテープとの付着強さを増大させる。
 場合によっては、ファスニングテープと膜とは付着部がファスニングテープの底面の表面積の約50%未満を覆うように結合する(すなわち、膜とファスニングテープとの付着はファスニングテープの底面の約50%未満を占める)。膜と構成要素発泡体との付着は、膜がファスニングテープに付着していない非付着部においてより効果的であり、付着部は膜が付着部で変性するので構成要素発泡体への付着についてはそれほど効果的ではない。場合によっては、膜は熱、圧力または別の理由で歪む。場合によっては、膜はニカワ剤または他の接着剤によって飽和することもあり、それゆえ付着部に沿った構成要素発泡体内の膜/ファスニングテープ構造の付着の強さに否定的な影響を及ぼす。
 非付着部(すなわち付着部以外の全部の領域)を伴い構成された1個以上の膜は、構成要素発泡体とのより強力で信頼できる付着をもたらす。1個以上の膜は、(1)膜の表面特性(例えば多孔性、吸収性、繊維間の開放空間など)、(2)(構成要素発泡体が硬化前に開放空間/ポケットに流入するように)膜とファスニングテープとの間に形成された開放空間またはポケットを含む膜の未付着部分、(3)膜の柔軟性、または(4)いずれかの他の適切な要因のうちの1つ以上に起因して、構成要素発泡体とのより強力で効果的な付着をもたらす。
 非付着部は、任意の適格な構成を有していてよく、1個以上の膜に沿って任意の適格な方法で配置してもよい。いくつかの非限定的実施例を図に例示し以下に説明する。
 図1A~図3C、図6A~図6Cおよび図8A~図8Cに示すように、1個以上の付着部(120、220、320、620、820)は、ファスニングテープの縦方向とほぼ平行にファスニングテープに沿って延在し得る。ファスニングテープ150は複数の縦方向付着部120を含む。図1Aに示すように、ファスニングテープの一方または両方の側縁において、最も外側の付着部120は外タブ103に配置されている。上述のように、膜101は付着部120でファスニングテープ150に付着される。膜は非付着部(104、105)も含み、そこでは余剰材料が隣り合う付着部120の間で膜101とファスニングテープ150との間の開放空間またはポケット104に集まる。加えて、非付着部は片持ち部106に隣接した1個以上の片持ち領域105を含む。
 図1Bに示すように、膜101の外縁は膜101の片持ち部106に隣接した片持ち領域105の形態の非付着部を含む。片持ち領域105はファスニングテープ150の側縁102に形成された開放空間またはポケットである。片持ち部106は、ファスニングテープ150の底面に接続していない膜101の側縁である。
 構成要素発泡体は、成形プロセス中、膜101の片持ち部106に隣接した片持ち領域105に、またはそのまわりに流入し得る。さらに、成形プロセス中、構成要素発泡体は、ファスニングテープの端部から、および/または膜101の透過によって非付着部104に流入し得る。
 一部実施例において、図2A~図2Cに示すように、最も外側の付着部220は膜201の側縁202からずらされており、それにより付着部220の全部がファスニングテープ250の側縁202より内側に、かつ/または外タブ203より内側にある。その結果、片持ち部206の形態の非付着部が大きくなり、それは片持ち領域205を増大させる。例えば、図2Bに示すように、片持ち領域205は外タブ203の全幅および側縁202より内側のファスニングテープ250の部分にわたっている。片持ち領域205が大きくなることにより、成形プロセス中、構成要素発泡体と連結する表面積がより大きくなることになる。
 図3A~図3Cに示すように、膜301がファスニングテープ350に付着している付着部320は、ファスニングテープ350の幅のほぼ中心に位置しファスニングテープの縦方向に沿って延在する単一の帯であるとしてよい。場合によっては、付着部320の幅はファスニングテープ350の全幅の約20%であるが、付着部320は、例えば約5%、10%、30%、40%、50%または任意の他の適格な分量を含めファスニングテープ350に対する任意の適格な幅であってよい。付着部320の配置によって、片持ち領域305の形態の非付着部は片持ち領域105および205よりも大きい。例えば図3Bに示すように、片持ち領域305に隣接する各片持ち部306は、ファスニングテープ350の幅全体の約30~40%にわたっている。各片持ち領域305は、例えば約47.5%、45%、35%、30%、25%または任意の他の適格な分量を含めファスニングテープ350に対する任意の適格な幅であってよく、その幅は付着部320の配置を調整することによって調整できる。成形プロセス中に構成要素発泡体が導入された時に、発泡体は片持ち部306に隣接して片持ち領域305の中に流入し、ファスニングテープへの膜の付着の強さを増大できる。
 一部実施例において、図4A~図6Cに示すように、付着部420はファスニングテープの縦方向に対してほぼ垂直および/または斜めに延在し得る。例えば図4A~図4Cは、ファスニングテープ450の縦方向にほぼ垂直である付着部420を図示している。図4Aに示すように、付着部420は、各々の外タブ403が各外タブ403をほぼ二分する1個の付着部420を含むように離間され得る。付着部420はもっと近づけて配列してもよいし、またはより離して離間させてもよい。図4Cに示すように、非付着部404はファスニングテープ450の側縁402から出入りでき、従って構成要素発泡体は構成要素発泡体が導入された時にファスニングテープの幅に沿って非付着部404に流入できる。
 図5A~図5Cは、ファスニングテープの縦方向に対して斜めであるように配置された付着部520を示す。例えば、付着部520はファスニングテープ550の縦方向に対して斜めに約60°に向いている。付着部520は、ファスニングテープ550の縦方向に対して15°、30°、45°、75°等といった任意の適格な角度で配列してもよい。図5Cに示すように、非付着部504はファスニングテープ550の側縁502から出入りでき、従って構成要素発泡体は構成要素発泡体が導入された時にファスニングテープの幅および縦方向に沿って非付着部504に流入できる。
 図6A~図6Cは、(1)ファスニングテープ650の縦方向に対してほぼ平行である少なくとも1個の第1の付着部620.1および(2)ファスニングテープ650の縦方向に対して斜めである少なくとも1個の第2の付着部620.2を含む実施例を示す。2個の第1の付着部620.1の間および2個の隣接する第2の付着部620.2の間のポケットまたは開放空間といった非付着部604の一部は、ポケットが4辺全部で閉じており、ファスニングテープ650の周囲から直接出入りできない。しかし上述の通り、発泡体は膜601を通じて非付着部604に透過し得る。
 図7A~図7Cに示すように、一部実施例において、付着部720は互いに接続していない複数の個別領域であってよい。図7Aは、各々同じ正方形の形状をしている複数の付着部720を示す。しかし、付着部720は互いに異なってもよく、(以下に限らないが、円形、楕円形、三角形、菱形、多角形などといった)任意の適格な形状および任意の適格な大きさであってよい。
 図7A~図9Cは複数の膜による実施例を示す。例えば、図7Bに示すように、ファスニングテープ750は第1の膜701aおよび第2の膜701bを含み、膜の間に隙間708がある。図8Bに示すように、ファスニングテープ850は第1の膜801aおよび第2の膜801bを含み、膜の間に隙間808がある。図9Bに示すように、ファスニングテープ950は第1の膜901aおよび第2の膜901bを含み、膜の間に隙間908がある。これらの実施例は各々、ファスニングテープが膜によって覆われていない開放空間または隙間を伴う2個の膜を含んでいるが、ファスニングテープは、ファスニングテープが膜によって覆われていない任意の数の開放空間/隙間を伴う任意の数の膜を含み得る。発泡体は膜の間の隙間708、808、908に流入できる。代替として、いずれの隙間も伴わずにファスニングテープの表面全体を複数の膜によって覆ってもよい。場合によっては、複数の膜(2以上)は互いに重なってもよい。
 図7A~図7Cに示すように、膜701は膜701aおよび701bを含み、そのそれぞれは、第2の膜701bの付着部が第1の膜701aの付着部に隣り合っている一列に配列された一連の個別的な付着部720を含む。第2の膜701bの付着部は第1の膜701aの付着部に対してずらされて示されているが、必ずしもその必要はなく、場合によっては、2個の膜の付着部は整列していてよい。付着部材720は他のパターンで配列してもよく、一直線に配列する必要はない。また、膜701は非付着部(705、707)も含み、そこでは隣り合う付着部720の間で膜701とファスニングテープ750との間の開放空間またはポケットに余剰材料が集まる。加えて、非付着部は片持ち部706に隣接した1個以上の片持ち領域705を含む。非付着部707は付着部720の間に配置され、それにより構成要素発泡体はファスニングテープの側縁702または端部から非付着部707に進入できる。
 図8A~図8Cに示すように、各々の膜801a、801bは、ファスニングテープの縦方向に沿って延在する単一の縦方向付着部820を含む。従って、各々の膜は2個の片持ち部806および、発泡体が上述のように流入できる2個の片持ち領域805を含み得る。詳しくは、発泡体はファスニングテープの側縁802および端部から、さらに隙間808から片持ち領域805に進入できる。
 図9A~図9Cに示すように、付着部920は、図4A~図4Cと同様、ファスニングテープの縦方向に対してほぼ垂直に延在し得る。例えば図9A~図9Cは、ファスニングテープ950の縦方向に対しほぼ垂直である付着部920を図示している。付着部920は任意の適格な距離を離して配列してもよい。図9Cに示すように、非付着部904はファスニングテープ950の側縁902から出入りでき、従って構成要素発泡体は構成要素発泡体が導入された時にファスニングテープの側縁902および隙間908に沿って非付着部904に流入できる。
 図11は、ファスニングテープおよび膜構造の付着部および非付着部の拡大図を示す。図示の通り、非付着部の長さXは付着部の長さYよりも大きい。場合によっては、非付着部の長さXは付着部の長さYよりも約4倍大きい(X=4Y)。場合によっては、付着部の長さYは約1mmであり非付着部の長さXは約4mmであるが、非付着部の長さXおよび付着部の長さYは任意の適格な長さであってよい。
 図1~図9の実施例では、全て膜の形状は少なくともファスニングテープの外縁形状に合致したものであるが、必ずしも膜の外縁形状とファスニングテープの外縁形状を合致させる必要はない。
 例えば、膜101,201の外縁は、図12及び図13に示すように、ファスニングテープ150,250の外縁よりも外側に延出していてもよい。それは、図12A及び図12Bに示すように、膜101が直線的に形成されたファスニングテープ150の外縁の全領域において外側に延出していてもよいし、図13に示すように、複数の外タブ203が設けられたファスニングテープ250の外縁のうち、複数の外タブ203間に延出していてもよい。また、図示はしないが、図13に示す複数の外タブ203を備えるファスニングテープ250の外縁の全領域において膜を外側に延出させてもよい。
 さらにこの時、ファスニングテープの少なくとも一部に片持ち領域(片持ち部)を備え、片持ち部の少なくとも一部、好ましくは全てがファスニングテープの外縁よりも外側に延出していることが好ましい。またこの片持ち部を形成するための片持ち部に隣接する付着部をファスニングテープの外縁よりも内側とすることで、片持ち部を長くすることができる。このように、ファスニングテープの外縁よりも外側に延出した片持ち部によって片持ち部と構成要素発泡体との付着がより強力で効果的になる。
 さらに、図14に示すように、金型(磁石Mgが配置されたトレンチTr)にファスニングテープ250を配置したとき、ファスニングテープ250に設置された磁性物質によってファスニングテープ250がトレンチTr上に吸着された状態となる。そして、この状態で構成要素発泡体が金型内に流し込まれる。このとき、図13に示す複数の外タブ203間に位置する膜201が、複数の外タブ203の上方に位置する膜201を介して複数の外タブ203によって支持されるとともに、外タブ203間において膜201の表裏面が露出しているので、片持ち部206が安定して、片持ち部206と構成要素発泡体との付着が強力で効果的になる。
 ファスニングテープの構成要素は、以下に限らないが、ナイロン、ポリプロピレン、ポリプロピレン不織布、他のプラスチック材料、熱可塑性物質、金属材料、他の複合材料、綿、羊毛、合成織物その他の類似材料を含む材料によって形成してもよい。さらに、ファスニングテープの構成要素は、以下に限らないが、ニカワ剤または任意の適格な接着剤、フック・ループ式ファスニングテープ、超音波溶接、他の機械的または化学的締結装置を含む適格な締結装置によって互いに付着してもよい。
 図面に図示または上述した構成要素ばかりでなく、図示または記載していない構成要素およびステップの異なる配列が可能である。同様に、一部の特徴および部分組合せが有用であり、他の特徴および部分組合せに関わらず使用してもよい。本発明の事例は制限的目的ではなく例示的目的で記載しており、代替的な事例はこの特許の読者には明らかであろう。従って、本発明は上述または図面に図示した事例に限定されず、以下の請求の範囲を逸脱しなければ種々の事例および修正が行い得る。

Claims (27)

  1.  ファスニングテープであって、
     ファスニングテープの底面に隣接して配置された少なくとも1個の膜と、
     少なくとも1個の膜をファスニングテープの底面と接続している少なくとも1個の付着部と、
     少なくとも1個の膜とファスニングテープとの間の少なくとも2個の非付着部と、を備え、
     少なくとも2個の非付着部の各々は、少なくとも1個の付着部に隣接して配置され、
     少なくとも2個の非付着部の各々は、少なくとも1個の膜とファスニングテープの底面との間に開放空間を形成する、ファスニングテープ。
  2.  少なくとも1個の膜は、ファスニングテープの底面の表面全体を概ね覆っている、請求項1に記載のファスニングテープ。
  3.  少なくとも1個の付着部は、ファスニングテープの縦方向に延在する、請求項1に記載のファスニングテープ。

  15.  ファスニングテープであって、
     ファスニングテープの底面に隣接して配置された少なくとも1個の不織柔軟膜と、
     少なくとも1個の不織柔軟膜をファスニングテープの底面に接続している複数の付着部と、
     少なくとも1個の不織柔軟膜とファスニングテープの底面との間に開放空間を各々形成する複数の非付着部と、を備え、
     複数の非付着部の各々は、複数の付着部に隣接して、またはそれらの間に配置され、
     複数の付着点は、合わせてファスニングテープの底面の面積の約50%未満を構成する、ファスニングテープ。
  16.  少なくとも1個の不織柔軟膜は、ファスニングテープの底面の表面全体を概ね覆っている1個の膜である、請求項15に記載のファスニングテープ。
  17.  複数の付着部の少なくとも一部は、互いに平行かつファスニングテープの縦方向に平行に延在する、請求項15に記載のファスニングテープ。
  18.  複数の付着部の各々は、ファスニングテープの側縁より内側かつファスニングテープの外タブより内側に配置される、請求項17に記載のファスニングテープ。
  19.  複数の付着部の少なくとも一部は、ファスニングテープの縦方向に平行な方向で延在し、
     複数の付着部の少なくとも一部は、ファスニングテープの縦方向に斜めの方向で延在する、請求項15に記載のファスニングテープ。
  20.  複数の付着部の少なくとも一部は、ファスニングテープの縦方向に垂直な方向で延在する、請求項15に記載のファスニングテープ。
  21.  複数の付着部の少なくとも一部は、対応する外タブをほぼ二分する、請求項20に記載のファスニングテープ。
  22.  複数の付着部の少なくとも一部は、ファスニングテープの縦方向に斜めの方向で延在する、請求項15に記載のファスニングテープ。
  23.  複数の付着部の少なくとも一部は、互いに分離した複数の個別形状を含む、請求項15に記載のファスニングテープ。
  24.  少なくとも1個の不織柔軟膜は、ファスニングテープの幅に沿って互いに隣り合って配置された2個の膜を含む、請求項15に記載のファスニングテープ。
  25.  複数の非付着部の少なくとも1個は、少なくとも1個の不織柔軟膜の側縁に隣接した片持ち領域であり、側縁はファスニングテープの底面に付着していない片持ち部である、請求項15に記載のファスニングテープ。
  26.  ファスニングテープであって、
     ファスニングテープの底面に隣接して配置された少なくとも1個の不織柔軟布層と、
     少なくとも1個の不織柔軟布層をファスニングテープの底面に接続している複数の付着部と、
     少なくとも1個の不織柔軟布層とファスニングテープの底面との間に開放空間を各々形成する複数の非付着部と、を備え、
     複数の非付着部の各々は、複数の付着部に隣接して、またはそれらの間に配置され、
     複数の非付着部の少なくとも1個は、少なくとも1個の不織柔軟布層の側縁に隣接した片持ち領域であり、側縁はファスニングテープの底面に付着していない片持ち部である、ファスニングテープ。
  27.  複数の付着点は、合わせてファスニングテープの底面の面積の約50%未満を占める、請求項26に記載のファスニングテープ。
