Definitions

  • This disclosure relates to bolts used in automobiles and various industrial machines. Specifically, the present invention relates to a technique for improving delayed fracture resistance and fatigue characteristics of a high-strength bolt having a tensile strength of 1500 MPa or more.
  • Delayed fracture is a fracture that occurs after a certain time has elapsed since the stress was applied to the steel material. About this cause, since it is thought that various factors are intertwined intricately, it is difficult to specify the cause. That is, as factors that influence the delayed fracture phenomenon, the effects of tempering temperature, structure, material hardness, crystal grain size, various alloy elements, etc. have been recognized. However, the means for preventing delayed destruction has not been established, and the fact is that various methods have only been proposed by trial and error. However, in general, there is a common recognition that hydrogen embrittlement is involved.
  • Patent Documents 1 and 2 have been proposed as techniques for improving delayed fracture resistance.
  • Patent Document 1 discloses a high-strength bolt having a tensile strength of 1400 MPa or more, a compressive residual stress of 20 to 95% of the tensile strength, and a 10-point average roughness of the surface controlled to 10 ⁇ m or less. Proposed.
  • As a method of applying the compressive residual stress a method of focusing and irradiating a pulse laser beam on the bolt surface is described.
  • Patent Document 2 contains the maximum value of the compressive residual stress within 200 ⁇ m from the surface of the steel material with a tensile strength of 125 kgf / mm 2 or more after containing 0.2 to 1.2% of Mo as the component composition ( High strength steels for mechanical structures have been proposed in which ⁇ r) satisfies ⁇ r / ⁇ B ⁇ 0.6 with respect to the tensile strength ( ⁇ B) of the material. As a method for applying the compressive residual stress, shot peening is described.
  • Mo is 0.2 to 1.2% in order to obtain hardenability of steel, have temper softening resistance, and obtain a tensile strength of 125 kgf / mm 2 or more at a tempering temperature of 400 ° C. or higher. Contains. However, adding 0.2% or more of Mo to a steel type containing 1.5 to 3.0% of Si in order to increase the strength may significantly reduce hot ductility, making it difficult to industrially mass-produce. May be.

Description

 (焼鈍A)
