Next, the transmission apparatus acquires a parameter condition corresponding to the identified information type (and / or application type) (step S212). The parameter conditions corresponding to the type of information will be described later.
- the transmission apparatus sets the sub symbol length based on the combination of parameters acquired in step S204 and the condition acquired in step S208 (step S214). Further, the transmission apparatus sets the subcarrier interval based on the combination of parameters acquired in step S204 and the condition acquired in step S212 (step S216).
- a subcarrier interval, a filter coefficient, and a subsymbol length may be set according to the type of receiving apparatus.
- the transmission device (for example, setting unit 151) may set a filter according to the interference removal capability of the reception device to be transmitted.
- the transmission device (for example, the transmission processing unit 153) applies a filter in which a filter coefficient with a sharp band limitation is set when the reception device has interference removal capability or interference removal capability is high. Also good.
- the transmission apparatus (for example, the transmission processing unit 153) may apply a filter in which a filter coefficient with a loose band limit is set when the reception apparatus does not have interference removal capability or has low interference removal capability.
- the filter coefficient whose band limitation is gentle may be a filter coefficient corresponding to the RRC filter.
- the filter coefficient having a sharp band limitation may be a filter coefficient corresponding to the RC filter.
- a wider subcarrier interval may be set as compared with a case where the filter coefficient is not so. From another point of view, a filter coefficient having a sharp band limit has a smaller roll-off factor, and a filter coefficient having a gentle band limit has a higher roll-off ratio. I can say that.
- the transmission device may set a wide subcarrier interval for a reception device with low signal processing capability such as an MTC device and an IoT device.
- a reception device with low signal processing capability such as an MTC device and an IoT device.
- the transmission device can set parameters according to the performance or requirements of the reception device. Therefore, the transmission apparatus can cope with various data rates, delay amounts, signal processing complexity, and the like.
- parameter conditions corresponding to the type of information (for example, application) carried by the target signal will be described.
- An example of the conditions is shown in the table below.
- the transmission device for example, the setting unit 151 refers to the above table and sets at least one of the sub symbol length and the sub carrier interval according to the processing capability of the reception device and the application type (for example, QCI). obtain.
- the transmission apparatus may set a shorter sub-symbol length as the delay tolerance is lower. Further, the transmission apparatus may set a wider subcarrier interval as the delay tolerance is lower. This means that a lower delay tolerance means that a shorter delay time is required, and it is desirable that the receiving apparatus can receive and demodulate quickly in order. From the above, the transmission apparatus can set the subsymbol length and the subcarrier interval so as to satisfy the relationship of the following equation.
- the transmission apparatus may set a shorter sub-symbol length as the priority is higher. Further, the transmission apparatus may set a wider subcarrier interval as the priority is higher. From the above, the transmission apparatus can set the subsymbol length and the subcarrier interval so as to satisfy the relationship of the following equation.
- the transmission device may set parameters according to the moving speed of the reception device.
- parameter conditions corresponding to the moving speed of the receiving apparatus will be described. An example of the conditions is shown in the table below.
- the transmission apparatus (for example, setting unit 151) can set at least one of the sub-symbol length and the subcarrier interval according to the moving speed of the reception apparatus with reference to the above table.
- the transmission apparatus sets the sub symbol length and the sub carrier interval corresponding to the moving speed or the mobility category index. As a result, it is possible to avoid degradation of transmission quality. Specifically, the transmission apparatus can set the subsymbol length and the subcarrier interval so as to satisfy the relationship of the following equation.
- the transmission apparatus (for example, the setting unit 151) variably sets the subcarrier interval and the subsymbol length. In other words, the transmission apparatus can variably set the number of subcarriers and the number of subsymbols.
- the transmission apparatus can set parameters so that a predetermined relationship is established between the number of subcarriers and the number of subsymbols in order to further improve the stability of operation.
- the transmission apparatus may be set so that at least one of the number of subcarriers or the number of subsymbols is an odd number. With this setting, it is possible to improve the stability of equalization processing in the receiving apparatus.
- the number of subsymbols As a method of counting the number of subsymbols here, it is desirable to count the number of subsymbols per GFDM symbol in the system 1. In addition, as a method of counting the number of subcarriers here, it is desirable to count the number of subcarriers in the entire bandwidth of the system 1. However, when a unit of a predetermined frequency bandwidth such as a resource block is introduced, the number of subcarriers per resource block may be counted as a method of counting the number of subcarriers.
- a parameter whose stability is “OK” indicates that the operation of the receiving apparatus is stable (that is, a desirable system configuration).
- a parameter with hatching in the table and having a stability of “NG” indicates a setting that makes the operation of the receiving apparatus unstable (that is, an undesirable system configuration).
- the transmission apparatus (for example, the transmission processing unit 153) performs filtering for each subcarrier.
- the type of the filter may be the same regardless of the subcarrier interval, or may be different depending on the subcarrier interval.
- the transmission apparatus may select a filter according to the subcarrier interval.
- the transmission apparatus can control the influence of interference between sub-symbols and between sub-carriers.
- the transmission device applies a filter in which a filter coefficient having a steeper band limit is applied to a subcarrier with a narrower interval, and sets a filter coefficient having a more lenient band limit to a subcarrier with a wider interval.
- Applied filters may be applied.
- the transmission apparatus may set a roll-off coefficient of the filter according to the subcarrier interval.
- FIG. 16 is a flowchart illustrating an example of a flow of filter coefficient setting processing executed in the transmission apparatus according to the present embodiment.
- the transmitting apparatus sets a subcarrier interval (step S302).
- the transmission apparatus may set the subcarrier interval according to the type of information carried by the reception apparatus and the signal.
- the transmission device determines whether or not the subcarrier interval is equal to or greater than a threshold value (step S304).
- the transmission apparatus sets a filter coefficient with a gentle band limitation (step S306). Specifically, the transmission device can set a filter coefficient corresponding to the RRC filter.
- the transmission apparatus sets a filter coefficient with a sharp band limitation (step S308). Specifically, the transmission device can set a filter coefficient corresponding to the RC filter.
- the transmission apparatus variably sets the subcarrier interval and the subsymbol length. Therefore, the reception device (for example, the reception processing unit 241) performs reception processing according to the parameters set in the transmission device.
- the receiving apparatus may switch whether to enable or disable the interference cancellation function according to the subcarrier interval.
- An example of such processing will be described in detail with reference to FIG.
- FIG. 17 is a flowchart showing an example of the flow of the interference removal function switching process executed in the receiving apparatus according to the present embodiment.

- System Information System Information
- Control Information Control Information
- the receiving apparatus determines whether or not the subcarrier interval is equal to or greater than a threshold (step S404).
- the receiving apparatus invalidates the interference cancellation function (step S406).
- a reception method when invalidating the interference removal function for example, a matched filter is employed. This is because the band limitation by the filter is loose and the influence of intersubsymbol interference and intersubcarrier interference is suppressed.
- the receiving apparatus validates the interference cancellation function (step S408).

- SIC successive interference cancellation
- PIC Parallel Interference Cancellation
- Iterative Cancellation iterative interference cancellation
- turbo interference cancellation Turbo Cancellation

- FIG. 18 shows a graph in which the horizontal axis represents the roll-off rate and the vertical axis represents the condition number of the GFDM equivalent channel matrix.
- the difference in line type corresponds to the difference in subcarrier spacing.

- FIG. 19 shows a simulation result of Eb / N0 versus bit error rate (BER) characteristics using the roll-off rate as a parameter.
- Zero forcing is adopted as a receiving method. As shown in FIG.
- the subcarrier interval and the filter coefficient may be set as continuous values or may be set as a plurality of discrete values. Considering that the setting of the subcarrier interval and the filter coefficient is exchanged as control information between the transmission device and the reception device, it can be said that the latter is more suitable for reducing the overhead of control information. On the other hand, in the former case, it is possible to finely carry out optimal settings according to the radio wave propagation environment, the type of data transmitted and received, and the type of service.
- the transmission device (for example, the transmission processing unit 153) includes information indicating setting contents such as the subcarrier interval and the filter coefficient in the control information and transmits the control information to the reception device.
- the subcarrier interval and the filter coefficient are set as a plurality of discrete values, for example, the combination of the index and the set value of the subcarrier interval and the filter coefficient indicated by the index is between the devices in the system 1. Commonly recognized in advance.
- the transmitting device notifies the setting value to the receiving device by including the index corresponding to the set subcarrier interval and the filter coefficient in the control information.
- Table 7 shows an example of a combination of an index and a set value indicated by the index regarding the subcarrier interval and the filter coefficient.
- the subcarrier interval and roll-off rate are defined for each subcarrier interval index.
- the roll-off rate can be interpreted as being associated with the subcarrier interval.
- the setting values other than the subcarrier interval and the filter coefficient may be notified by an index as described above.
- Other examples of combinations of indexes and setting values indicated by the indexes are shown in Tables 8 to 12 below.
- the number of subcarriers (for example, the number of subcarriers per resource block) and the roll-off rate are defined for each index of the subcarrier interval.
- the number of sub-symbols (for example, the number of sub-carriers per GFDM symbol) and the roll-off rate are defined for each sub-symbol length index.
- the ratio of the CP length to the CP length and the GFDM symbol length is defined for each TTI index.
- Oversampling Parameter Setting may be set according to transmission processing.

- the actual sub carrier number may be set as the total number of sub carriers (that is, the guard interval may not be considered). Instead, even if the total number of subcarriers is set to the number of subcarriers when all the subcarrier intervals are set to the minimum values that can be taken by the system 1 (that is, the maximum total number of subcarriers that can be taken by the system 1). Good.
- the IDFT size or IFFT size may be set in the oversampling parameters NSR, r, g .
- the oversampling parameter can be set to a smaller value than in the case of the first transmission device.
- a transmission filter coefficient corresponding to an RC filter (Raised-Cosine Filter) or an RRC filter (Root-Raised-Cosine Filter) it can be said that the number of oversampling is at most two.
- the number of oversampling may be two or more.
- a transmitting device may not use a unit resource composed of one or more subcarriers or one or more subsymbols.
- a frequency region (that is, a bandwidth) of use is set, and at least one of the subcarrier interval and the sub symbol length is variably set in the other use frequency regions.
- the transmission device (for example, the transmission processing unit 153) transmits a signal using the frequency region (that is, bandwidth) in use.
- the bandwidth of the unit resource is also referred to as an allocated bandwidth.
- a bandwidth that is actually used by removing an unused frequency region from the allocated bandwidth is also referred to as a used bandwidth.
- the frequency resource of the unit resource is typically a resource block.
- the unit resource here may be an arbitrary frequency channel such as a subband or a component carrier.
- the transmission apparatus switches whether or not to set an unused frequency region depending on whether or not the subcarrier interval or the sub symbol time length is the same in a plurality of unit resources on the same time resource. Specifically, the transmission apparatus sets an unused frequency region when subcarrier intervals or subsymbol time lengths differ in a plurality of unit resources on the same time resource. Thereby, it is possible to reduce interference between unit resources in a situation where orthogonality between unit resources (more precisely, between subcarriers) is broken. Conversely, the transmission apparatus does not set an unused frequency region when the subcarrier interval and the sub symbol time length are the same in a plurality of unit resources on the same time resource.
- the plurality of unit resources may indicate unit resources included in one frequency channel (for example, component carrier) or may indicate unit resources included in a plurality of frequency channels. Good.

- the interval indicated by reference numeral 310A in FIG. 20 is the subcarrier interval.
- the subcarrier interval is an interval between peak portions of the subcarrier, but is not necessarily an interval between peak portions.
- the subcarrier spacing may be the spacing between the lower 3 dB frequencies of the subcarriers, the spacing between the upper 3 dB frequencies, the spacing between the lower (nth) zero cross frequencies, or the upper (nth) zero crossing. It may be an interval between frequencies.
- the second definition is a definition in which the subcarrier interval is the frequency interval of a specific portion of the subcarrier.
- the interval indicated by reference numeral 310B in FIG. 20 is the subcarrier interval.
- the specific location may be an interval between the lower and upper 3 dB frequencies of one subcarrier, an interval between the lower and upper (nth) zero cross frequencies, or the like.
- the third definition is a definition in which the subcarrier interval is the symbol length or the reciprocal of the subsymbol length.
- the symbol length or sub-symbol length used for the reciprocal calculation does not include the CP length.
- FIG. 21 is a diagram showing an example of setting of the allocated bandwidth and the used bandwidth according to the present embodiment.
- reference numerals 320 to 325 show six examples of the allocated bandwidth, the used bandwidth, and the setting.

- B'k is a used bandwidth
- bk is a subcarrier interval or a bandwidth of one subcarrier. Note that k is an integer indicating an index of the example.
- b0 in FIG. 21 is a reference subcarrier interval. Also, b0 is the minimum subcarrier interval that can be set in the system 1.
- the side lobe portion of the frequency component of the subcarrier is omitted, but actually, the side lobe may exist.
- the side lobe portion is not included in the bandwidth of the subcarrier.
- the subcarriers are assumed to be non-orthogonal, but may be orthogonal.

- This case is a usage of the band found in the existing OFDMA or LTE.
- This case may be regarded as a standard or default setting of the system 1.
- the case indicated by reference numeral 321 is a case where the use bandwidth is narrower than the allocated bandwidth and the standard subcarrier spacing is adopted. In the case indicated by reference numeral 321, since both ends of the allocated bandwidth are vacant, it is possible to reduce interference from neighboring areas (for example, adjacent resource blocks).
- the system 1 converts the number of subcarriers (for example, N1) included in the unit resource that sets the unused area into the unit resource that does not set the unused area. You may set below the number (for example, N0) of the subcarrier contained. Thereby, an unused frequency region is provided.
- the cases indicated by reference numerals 322 and 323 are cases where the allocated bandwidth and the use bandwidth are the same, and a subcarrier interval wider than the reference subcarrier interval is adopted.
- the unit resource is formed by one subcarrier, and in the case indicated by reference numeral 323, the unit resource is formed by two subcarriers.
- the system 1 it is possible to accommodate subcarriers having different subcarrier intervals in the CC at the same time, and these cases occur in such cases.
- the case indicated by reference numeral 324 is a case where the use bandwidth is narrower than the allocated bandwidth, the unit resource is formed by one subcarrier, and a subcarrier interval wider than the reference subcarrier interval is employed.

- both ends of the allocated bandwidth are vacant, so that interference from neighboring areas can be mitigated, and a simple reception algorithm can be applied.
- the system 1 determines the interval (for example, b3 or b5) of the subcarriers included in the unit resource that sets the unused area. - the first condition is that the center of the allocated bandwidth Bk and the center of B′k match or substantially match.
- the second condition is that vacant areas (that is, unused frequency regions) are set at both ends of the allocated bandwidth Bk. In other words, the second condition is that only one side of the bandwidth Bk is not vacant.
- the third condition is that two free bandwidths set at both ends of the allocated bandwidth Bk are set to be the same.
- the fourth condition is that the bandwidths within the allocated bandwidth Bk (including spaces other than both ends) are set to be the same.
- the fifth condition is that when the number of subcarriers included in the allocated bandwidth Bk is an odd number, the center frequency of at least one subcarrier included in the allocated bandwidth Bk matches the center frequency of the allocated bandwidth Bk or It is almost coincident.
- the sixth condition is that when the number of subcarriers included in the allocated bandwidth Bk is an even number, the center frequency of any subcarrier included in the allocated bandwidth Bk matches or substantially matches the center frequency of the allocated bandwidth Bk. Is not to.
- substantially coincidence of the frequencies described above may mean that it is within an absolute allowable range, and may mean that a deviation of several Hz to several tens Hz is allowed, for example.
- the above-described substantially coincidence of frequencies may mean that the frequency is within a relative allowable range, for example, to allow a deviation of several% to several tens% with respect to the subcarrier interval. May be.

本相違点について説明すると、まず、時間から周波数への変換(例えば、DFT(Discrete Fourier Transform)又はFFT(Inverse Fast Fourier Transform))が実施される。
本技術は、HetNet(Heterogeneous Network)又はSCE(Small Cell Enhancement)などのマルチセルシステムにおいても適用可能である。
