Description
本発明は、リグノセルロース物質の酸加水分解処理液を含有する分散剤に関する。
リグノセルロース物質から溶解パルプを製造するには、リグノセルロース物質中のヘミセルロースとリグニンを選択的に除去し、セルロース純度を高める必要がある。セルロース純度を表す指標としては、一般にα-セルロース含量が用いられ、値が大きいほど、高品質の溶解パルプであるとされている。
溶解パルプの製造方法としては、古くから酸性サルファイト蒸解法および加水分解-クラフト蒸解法の二法が知られており、酸性サルファイト蒸解法ではリグノセルロース物質中の多くのヘミセルロースとリグニンを蒸解工程で一度に除去するのに対し、加水分解-クラフト蒸解法は加水分解工程では大部分のヘミセルロースを酸加水分解して除去し、続くクラフト蒸解で少量のヘミセルロースと大部分のリグニンを除去する。加水分解工程では、リグノセルロース物質に水を加えて加熱するだけで、ヘミセルロース中のアセチル基が脱離して酢酸を生成し、自動的に酸性状態となり、酸加水分解が進むため、一般には酸を外から添加することなく行なわれる(特許文献1、特許文献2)。
特許文献1、2に記載されている技術は、溶解パルプを得ることを目的として行われたものであり、加水分解工程で得られる酸加水分解処理液に関する利用については、蒸解工程で生成する黒液とともに燃料として工場内でパルプ製造工程のエネルギーとして利用されている以外には利用されていなかった。
そこで、本発明は、リグノセルロース物質の酸加水分解処理液、具体的にはクラフト蒸解前にリグノセルロース物質を加水分解処理して溶解パルプを得る工程において得られる酸加水分解処理液の燃料以外の利用法を提供することを目的とする。
本発明は、以下の[1]~[14]を提供する。
[1] リグノセルロース物質を、温度130℃~190℃の熱水中で30分間~400分間酸加水分解処理して得られる酸加水分解処理液を含有する、分散剤。
[2] 固形分7.0重量%の状態における酸加水分解処理液の波長260~300nmにおける吸光度の極大値が350~1700である、[1]に記載の分散剤。
[3] 酸加水分解処理液の固形分7.0重量%の状態におけるブリックス値が4.0~10.0である、[1]または[2]に記載の分散剤。
[4] 酸加水分解処理が、処理温度130~190℃、処理時間30分間~400分間の条件で、且つ下式で表されるPf値が、350~900となるような条件で行われる、[1]~[3]のいずれか1つに記載の分散剤。

本発明によれば、リグノセルロース物質の加水分解処理液を燃料以外に利用する方法を提供することができる。具体的にはクラフト蒸解前にリグノセルロース物質を加水分解処理して溶解パルプを得る工程において得られる酸加水分解処理液の燃料以外の利用法を提供することができる。
具体的には、無機物質、有機物質、セメントなどに対して優れた分散性を有する分散剤を提供することができる。特に、セメント用の分散剤として利用する場合、従来のAE減水剤(リグニンスルホン酸塩類、グルコン酸ナトリウム)と比較して優れた分散性、凝結遅延性を有する。
<分散剤>
本発明は、リグノセルロース物質の酸加水分解処理液を含有する分散剤である。
本発明の分散剤においては、各種無機物(特にセメント)、各種有機物に対して優れた分散性を有するので、リグノセルロース物質の酸加水分解処理液が、リグノセルロース物質を、温度130℃~190℃の熱水中で30分間~400分間酸加水分解処理して得られる酸加水分解処理液であることが好ましい。
本発明は、リグノセルロース物質の酸加水分解処理液を含有する分散剤である。
本発明の分散剤においては、各種無機物(特にセメント)、各種有機物に対して優れた分散性を有するので、リグノセルロース物質の酸加水分解処理液が、リグノセルロース物質を、温度130℃~190℃の熱水中で30分間~400分間酸加水分解処理して得られる酸加水分解処理液であることが好ましい。
また、本発明の分散剤においては、各種無機物(特にセメント)、各種有機物に対して優れた分散性を有するので、酸加水分解処理液の固形分7.0重量%の状態におけるブリックス値が4.0~10.0であることが好ましい。
ブリックス(Brix)値とは糖度とも言われ、ブリックス計(糖度計)により測定された値である。ブリックス値は、溶液中の糖類、有機酸、塩類等の水溶性有機物または水溶性無機物の量の尺度となるもので、1ブリックスはショ糖濃度1質量%に相当する。

本発明において、吸光度は、光路長1cmの石英セルに酸加水分解処理液を入れ、紫外線260nm~300nmの吸収波長における極大値を、UV測定器を用いて算出することができる。なお、紫外線260nm~300nmの吸収波長は、環状構造を持つ物質(芳香環含む)が有する吸収波長である。
本発明において、吸光度は、光路長1cmの石英セルに酸加水分解処理液を入れ、紫外線260nm~300nmの吸収波長における極大値を、UV測定器を用いて算出することができる。なお、紫外線260nm~300nmの吸収波長は、環状構造を持つ物質(芳香環含む)が有する吸収波長である。
なお、本明細書において、分散剤は組成物であってもよい。
(リグノセルロース物質)
本発明において、リグノセルロース物質は特に限定されるものではないが、リグノセルロース物質として、例えば、針葉樹、広葉樹に代表される木材、竹、さとうきび(バガス)、バナナ、ケナフなどに代表される非木材を使用することができ、これらを単独あるいは2種類以上組み合わせて使用することもできる。
本発明において、リグノセルロース物質は特に限定されるものではないが、リグノセルロース物質として、例えば、針葉樹、広葉樹に代表される木材、竹、さとうきび(バガス)、バナナ、ケナフなどに代表される非木材を使用することができ、これらを単独あるいは2種類以上組み合わせて使用することもできる。
針葉樹の例としては、エゾマツ、トドマツ、アカマツ、クロマツ、カラマツ、スギ、ヒノキ、西洋カラマツ、ラジアータパイン、ブラックスプルース、ホワイトスプルース、ウェスタンヘムロック、サザンパイン、バルサムファー、ラーチ、ジャックパイン、ダグラスファー等が挙げられる。広葉樹の例としては、ユーカリ属の木材を好適な例として挙げることができる。
本発明において、リグノセルロース物質として、上記木材を使用するに当たっては、ある程度の大きさ以下にして用いることが好ましい。すなわち、木材をチップ化または粉末化して用いると効率的である。具体的な大きさとしては、パルプや製紙用途として一般的な大きさ(例えば、木目方向の長さ15~20mm、幅12~25mm、厚さ10mm以下程度)でも構わないが、熱水を浸透しやすくして抽出や加水分解効率を上げるため、一辺が3~6mmの大きさにすることが望ましい。
(酸加水分解処理液)
本発明の分散剤に含有される酸加水分解処理液は、リグノセルロース物質の酸加水分解処理液であればよい。例えば、リグノセルロース物質の酸加水分解処理液として、クラフト蒸解前にリグノセルロース物質を加水分解処理して溶解パルプを得る工程において得られる酸加水分解処理液が挙げられる。酸加水分解処理液は、酸加水分解廃液であってもよい。酸加水分解処理については以下に説明する。
本発明の分散剤に含有される酸加水分解処理液は、リグノセルロース物質の酸加水分解処理液であればよい。例えば、リグノセルロース物質の酸加水分解処理液として、クラフト蒸解前にリグノセルロース物質を加水分解処理して溶解パルプを得る工程において得られる酸加水分解処理液が挙げられる。酸加水分解処理液は、酸加水分解廃液であってもよい。酸加水分解処理については以下に説明する。
(酸加水分解処理)
本発明において、リグノセルロース物質の酸加水分解処理方法は特に限定されるものではないが、例えば、リグノセルロース物質に高温の蒸気を吹き込むことにより、リグノセルロース物質中から遊離した有機酸を利用した方法、リグノセルロース物質を酸溶液中で処理する方法などが挙げられる。酸加水分解処理液は上記の有機酸、酸溶液を含有していても良い。有機酸としては、例えば、酢酸、オキシカルボン酸類、酸溶液としては硫酸、亜硫酸などが挙げられる。
また、酸加水分解処理の方式には限定がなく、例えば、連続式で行っても、バッチ式で行ってもよく、スーパーバッチ式で行ってもよい。酸加水分解処理を連続式で行うための製造設備としては、例えば、連続釜が挙げられる。
本発明において、リグノセルロース物質の酸加水分解処理方法は特に限定されるものではないが、例えば、リグノセルロース物質に高温の蒸気を吹き込むことにより、リグノセルロース物質中から遊離した有機酸を利用した方法、リグノセルロース物質を酸溶液中で処理する方法などが挙げられる。酸加水分解処理液は上記の有機酸、酸溶液を含有していても良い。有機酸としては、例えば、酢酸、オキシカルボン酸類、酸溶液としては硫酸、亜硫酸などが挙げられる。
また、酸加水分解処理の方式には限定がなく、例えば、連続式で行っても、バッチ式で行ってもよく、スーパーバッチ式で行ってもよい。酸加水分解処理を連続式で行うための製造設備としては、例えば、連続釜が挙げられる。
酸加水分解処理の条件は特に限定されるものではないが、液体相または蒸気相である、水または2質量%以下の鉱酸もしくは有機酸と木材チップ等のリグノセルロース物質との液比(リグノセルロース物質の絶乾重量に対する、水または2質量%以下の鉱酸もしくは有機酸の割合)を1~10の範囲とすることが好ましく、液比は2~5がより好ましく、2.5~3.5が更に好ましい。液比をこの範囲に調整することで、効率よくリグノセルロース物質から、各種被分散体に対して優れた分散性を有する物質を抽出することができる。
処理温度としては、130~190℃の範囲であることが好ましく、より好ましくは165~185℃である。処理温度130℃以上で酸加水分解処理することにより、得られる酸加水分解液処理液中に各種被分散体に対して優れた分散性を有する物質をリグノセルロース物質から抽出することができ、一方、処理温度190℃以下で酸加水分解処理することにより、各種被分散体に対して優れた分散性を有する物質を、分解を抑制しつつ、リグノセルロース物質から抽出することができる。
また、酸加水分解処理の処理時間は、30~400分の範囲が好ましく、36~150分とすることがさらに好ましい。処理時間を30分以上とすることで、リグノセルロース物質から、各種被分散体に対して優れた分散性を有する物質を抽出することができ、一方処理時間を400分以下とすることで、リグノセルロース物質から、各種被分散体に対して優れた分散性を有する物質を、分解を抑制しつつ、リグノセルロース物質から抽出することができる。
したがって、本発明の分散剤に含有されるリグノセルロース物質の酸加水分解処理液は、好ましくは、リグノセルロース物質を、温度130℃~190℃の熱水中で30分間~400分間酸加水分解処理して得られる酸加水分解処理液である。
また、本発明の分散剤は、好ましくは、リグノセルロース物質を、温度130℃~190℃の熱水中で30分間~400分間酸加水分解処理して得られる酸加水分解処理液を含有し、固形分7.0重量%の状態における酸加水分解処理液の波長260~300nmにおける吸光度の極大値が350~1700である、分散剤である。
さらに、本発明の分散剤は、好ましくは、リグノセルロース物質を、温度130℃~190℃の熱水中で30分間~400分間酸加水分解処理して得られる酸加水分解処理液を含有し、酸加水分解処理液の固形分7.0重量%の状態におけるブリックス値が4.0~10.0である分散剤である。
したがって、本発明の分散剤に含有されるリグノセルロース物質の酸加水分解処理液は、好ましくは、リグノセルロース物質を、温度130℃~190℃の熱水中で30分間~400分間酸加水分解処理して得られる酸加水分解処理液である。
また、本発明の分散剤は、好ましくは、リグノセルロース物質を、温度130℃~190℃の熱水中で30分間~400分間酸加水分解処理して得られる酸加水分解処理液を含有し、固形分7.0重量%の状態における酸加水分解処理液の波長260~300nmにおける吸光度の極大値が350~1700である、分散剤である。
さらに、本発明の分散剤は、好ましくは、リグノセルロース物質を、温度130℃~190℃の熱水中で30分間~400分間酸加水分解処理して得られる酸加水分解処理液を含有し、酸加水分解処理液の固形分7.0重量%の状態におけるブリックス値が4.0~10.0である分散剤である。
本発明において、リグノセルロース物質の酸加水分解処理は、温度130~190℃、時間30分~400分の範囲、且つ下式で表されるPf値(Pファクター)が350~900、好ましくは500~800となるように調整して行われることが好ましい。

なお、Pファクターとは、リグノセルロース物質と水または2質量%以下の鉱酸、有機酸との処理を終了させるまでに与えられた熱の総量を表す指標であり、上式の通りリグノセルロース物質と水とが混ざった時点からの処理が完了するまでを時間積分することで算出でき、処理温度および処理時間にて適宜調節することが出来る。
Pfを350以上とすることで、リグノセルロース物質から、各種被分散体に対して優れた分散性を有する物質を抽出することができ、一方、Pfを900以下とすることでリグノセルロース物質から、各種被分散体に対して優れた分散性を有する物質を、分解を抑制しつつ、リグノセルロース物質から抽出することができる。
リグノセルロース物質の酸加水分解処理を、上述のように温度130~190℃、時間30分~400分の範囲、且つPf値(Pファクター)が350~900、好ましくは500~800となるように調整して行うことで、固形分7.0重量%の状態における酸加水分解処理液のブリックス値を4.0~10.0とすることができると共に、固形分7.0重量%の状態における酸加水分解処理液の波長260~300nmにおける吸光度の極大値を350~1700とすることができる。
本発明において抽出に使用する水はどのようなものでも構わないが、硬度の低い水のほうが良好な抽出・加水分解効果が得られる。硬度の範囲は特に制限されないが、100以下であることが好ましく、50以下であるとより好ましい。
前記酸加水分解処理によって得られる、酸加水分解処理液は酸加水分解処理で得られたままの形態で本発明の分散剤に含有されていてもよいが、酸加水分解処理液は、固形分20~50%まで濃縮された形態であることが好ましい。濃縮は、例えばエバポレータを用いて行うことができる。濃縮により固形分を高めることで腐敗防止、物流コストの低減、ハンドリング性の向上などを図ることができる。また、本発明の分散剤は、酸加水分解処理液を、固体(例、粉体)の形態で含有していてもよい。
本発明のリグノセルロース物質の酸加水分解処理液に含まれている懸濁物質の析出を抑制するため、酸加水分解処理液のpHを8以上まで上げて懸濁物質を可溶化させてもよい。なお、セメント組成物はアルカリ性である。そのため、析出した懸濁物質を含む酸加水分解処理液をそのまま使用しても、セメント組成物中で析出物が溶解する。したがって、本発明の分散剤はセメント用として好適に用いられる。
本発明においては、本発明の特徴を損なわない限りにおいて、前記酸加水分解処理液にアルカリ及び/またはアルカリと硫化ナトリウムとの混合物や、蒸解白液などを用いて、中和処理を行ってもよい。また、熱アルカリ条件下で酸加水分解処理液中の還元糖類を変性してもよい。さらに、フルフラールなどフラン類を抽出した後の酸加水分解処理液を用いてもよい。
(被分散体)
本発明の酸加水分解処理液を含有する分散剤を使用して分散させる被分散体は、特に限定されるものではないが、種々の無機物質や有機物質が挙げられる。被分散体の形状としては、特に限定されるものではないが、例えば、粉体状、粒子状、顆粒状、繊維状、平板状などが挙げられる。
本発明の酸加水分解処理液を含有する分散剤を使用して分散させる被分散体は、特に限定されるものではないが、種々の無機物質や有機物質が挙げられる。被分散体の形状としては、特に限定されるものではないが、例えば、粉体状、粒子状、顆粒状、繊維状、平板状などが挙げられる。
無機物質の具体例としては、例えば、カオリン、ケイ酸アルミニウム、クレー、タルク、マイカ、ケイ酸カルシウム、セリサイト、ベントナイトなどのケイ酸塩;炭酸カルシウム、炭酸マグネシウム、炭酸バリウム、塩基性炭酸鉛などの炭酸塩;硫酸カルシウム、硫酸バリウムなどの硫酸塩;ストロンチウムクロメート、ピグメントイエローなどのクロム酸塩;モリブデン酸亜鉛、モリブデン酸カルシウム、モリブデン酸マグネシウムなどのモリブデン酸塩;アルミナ、酸化アンチモン、酸化チタニウム、酸化コバルト、四酸化三鉄、三酸化二鉄、四酸化三鉛、一酸化鉛、酸化クロムグリーン、三酸化タングステン、酸化イットリウムなどの金属酸化物;水酸化アルミニウム、水酸化マグネシウム、水酸化カルシウム、水酸化鉄、メタチタン酸などの金属水酸化物;炭化ケイ素、炭化タングステン、炭化ホウ素、炭化チタンなどの金属炭化物;窒化アルミニウム、窒化ケイ素、窒化ホウ素、ジルコニア、チタン酸バリウム、サチンホワイト、カーボンブラック、グラファイト、クロムイエロー、硫化水銀、ウルトラマリン、パリスブルー、チタニウムイエロー、クロムバーミリオン、リトポン、アセト亜ヒ酸銅、ニッケル、銀、パラジウム、チタン酸ジルコン酸鉛などが挙げられるが、これらに限定されるものではない。これらの無機物質は、その平均粒子径が一般的には100μm以下、好ましくは0.1μm以上、好ましくは50μm以下である。これらの無機物質は、単独で用いても2種以上を併用してもよい。
有機物質の具体例としては、例えば、フォストイエロー、ジスアゾイエロー、ジスアゾオレンジ、ナフトールレッド、銅フタロシアニン系顔料、リンモリブデンタングステン酸塩、タンニン酸塩、カタノール、タモールレーキ、イソインドリノンエローグリーニッシュ、イソインドリニンエトーレディシュ、キナクリドン、ジオキサジンバイオレット、ペリノンオレンジ、ペリレンバーミリオン、ペリレンスカーレット、ペリレンレッド、ペリレンマルーンなどの有機顔料;ポリカーボネート、ポリ塩化ビニル、ポリメチルメタクリレート、フッ素樹脂などの合成樹脂;ステアリン酸アルミニウム、ステアリン酸亜鉛、ステアリン酸カルシウム、ステアリン酸マグネシウム、ステアリン酸亜鉛・ステアリン酸カルシウム複合体、ステアリン酸鉛、ステアリン酸カドミウム、ステアリン酸バリウム、ラウリン酸カルシウム、ラウリン酸亜鉛などの金属石鹸などが挙げられるが、これらに限定されるものではない。これらの有機物質は、その平均粒子径が一般的には100μm以下、好ましくは0.1μm以上、好ましくは50μm以下である。これらの有機物質は、単独で用いても2種以上を併用してもよい。
本発明の酸加水分解処理液を含有する分散剤を用いて上記の無機物質および/または有機物質を分散させる分散媒としては、特に限定されるものではないが、例えば、水;灯油、軽油、ケロシンなどの燃料油類;ヘキサン、イソヘキサン、シクロヘキサン、メチルシクロヘキサン、イソオクタンなどの脂肪族炭化水素類;ベンゼン、トルエン、キシレン、クレゾールなどの芳香族炭化水素類;エタノール、メタノール、イソプロピルアルコール、ブチルアルコール、ペンチルアルコールなどのアルコール類;酢酸エチル、ジオクチルフタレートなどのエステル類;エチレングリコール、ジエチレングリコール、トリエチレングリコール、テトラエチレングリコール、プロピレングリコール、ポリエチレングリコール、ポリプロピレングリコール、エチレングリコールモノブチルエーテル、カルビトール、モノグライム、ジグライム、テトラグライム、メチルセルソルブ、ブチルセルソルブなどのエーテル類;ブタンジオール、ペンタンジオール、ヘキサンジオールなどのジオール類;1,1,1-トリクロロエタン、トリクロロエチレン、ジクロロエチレン、クロロジフルオロメタンなどのハロゲン化炭化水素類;メチルイソアミルケトン、メチルイソブチルケトン、アセトン、メチルエチルケトンなどのケトン類;ターピネオール、流動パラフィン、ミネラルスピリット、N-(2-ヒドロキシエチル)ピロリドン、グリセリンなどが挙げられる。これらの分散媒のうち、水が特に好適である。これらの分散媒は、単独で用いても2種以上を併用してもよい。
(分散媒、分散剤の添加)
本発明の酸加水分解処理液を含有する分散剤を使用する場合、分散媒に混合する方法は、特に限定されるものではない。例えば、本発明の酸加水分解処理液を含有する分散剤を分散媒と混合してから被分散体を添加してもよく、本発明の酸加水分解処理液を含有する分散剤を分散媒に被分散体と同時にまたは逐次に添加してもよい。あるいは、予め分散媒に被分散体を混合してから本発明の酸加水分解処理液を含有する分散剤を後から添加してもよい。
本発明の酸加水分解処理液を含有する分散剤を使用する場合、分散媒に混合する方法は、特に限定されるものではない。例えば、本発明の酸加水分解処理液を含有する分散剤を分散媒と混合してから被分散体を添加してもよく、本発明の酸加水分解処理液を含有する分散剤を分散媒に被分散体と同時にまたは逐次に添加してもよい。あるいは、予め分散媒に被分散体を混合してから本発明の酸加水分解処理液を含有する分散剤を後から添加してもよい。
(分散剤の使用量、他の分散剤との併用)
本発明の酸加水分解処理液を含有する分散剤の使用量としては、被分散体の種類や量に応じて適宜調節すればよく、特に限定されるものではないが、例えば、被分散体100質量部に対して、好ましくは0.001質量部以上、10質量部以下である。分散媒は、通常、被分散体100質量部に対して、20質量部以上、1,000質量部以下で使用する。
本発明の酸加水分解処理液を含有する分散剤の使用量としては、被分散体の種類や量に応じて適宜調節すればよく、特に限定されるものではないが、例えば、被分散体100質量部に対して、好ましくは0.001質量部以上、10質量部以下である。分散媒は、通常、被分散体100質量部に対して、20質量部以上、1,000質量部以下で使用する。
本発明の分散剤においては、酸加水分解処理液と下記(A)~(C)から選ばれる少なくとも一種の化合物とを併用してもよい。
(A)カルボキシル基及び/またはその塩含有化合物、

(A)カルボキシル基及び/またはその塩含有化合物としては、例えばポリアクリル酸ナトリウムやグルコン酸ナトリウムが挙げられるが、これらに限定されるものではない。
(B)酸基およびポリアルキレングリコール鎖を有する化合物としては、(ポリ)オキシエチレンメタクリレートと(メタ)アクリル酸の共重合体及び/またはその塩、(ポリ)オキシエチレンアリルエーテルと(メタ)アクリル酸との共重合体及び/またはその塩、(ポリ)オキシエチレンアリルエーテルと無水マレイン酸との共重合体及び/またはその塩、3-メチル-3-ブテン-1-オールの(ポリ)オキシエチレン付加物と(メタ)アクリル酸の共重合体及び/またはその塩、3-メチル-3-ブテン-1-オールの(ポリ)オキシエチレン付加物と無水マレイン酸の共重合体及び/またはその塩が挙げられるが、これらに限定されるものではない。なお、本明細書において、(メタ)アクリル酸とは、アクリル酸またはメタクリル酸を意味する。(ポリ)オキシエチレンとは、オキシエチレンまたはポリオキシエチレンを意味する。
(C)スルホン酸基及び/またはその塩含有化合物としては、リグニンスルホン酸ナトリウム、ナフタレンスルホン酸が挙げられるが、これらに限定されるものではない。
本発明の分散剤として、酸加水分解処理液と上記(A)~(C)の化合物を併用する場合、その比率は2成分を併用する場合の重量比率は、酸加水分解処理液/((A)~(C))=(1~99)/(1~99)であり、
3成分を併用する場合の重量比率は、酸加水分解処理液/((A)~(C)の化合物1種(1))/((1)とは異なる(A)~(C)の1種化合物(2))=(1~99)/(1~99)/(1~99)、
4成分を併用する場合の重量比率は、酸加水分解処理液/((A)~(C)の化合物1種(1))/((1)とは異なる(A)~(C)の1種化合物(2))/((1)、(2)とは異なる(A)~(C)の1種化合物(3))=(1~99)/(1~99)/(1~99)/(1~99)である。
3成分を併用する場合の重量比率は、酸加水分解処理液/((A)~(C)の化合物1種(1))/((1)とは異なる(A)~(C)の1種化合物(2))=(1~99)/(1~99)/(1~99)、

本発明の酸加水分解処理液を含有する分散剤は、種々の用途に利用することができるが、特にセメント分散剤として好適である。そこで、以下に、本発明の酸加水分解処理液を含有する分散剤をセメント分散剤として使用する場合について詳しく説明する。

本発明の酸加水分解処理液を含有する分散剤をセメント分散剤として使用する場合は、水溶液の形態で使用してもよいし、または、粉体の形態で使用してもよい。粉体化の方法としては、例えば、酸加水分解反応後にカルシウム、マグネシウムなどの二価金属の水酸化物で中和して多価金属塩とした後に乾燥させる方法、シリカ系微粉末などの無機粉体に担持して乾燥させる方法、ドラム型乾燥装置、ディスク型乾燥装置またはベルト式乾燥装置を用いて支持体上に薄膜状に乾燥固化させた後に粉砕する方法、スプレードライヤーによって乾燥固化させる方法が挙げられる。また、粉体の形態である本発明の酸加水分解処理液を含有する分散剤を予めセメント粉末やドライモルタルのような水を含まないセメント組成物に配合して、左官、床仕上げ、グラウトなどに用いるプレミックス製品として使用してもよいし、セメント組成物の混練時に配合してもよい。
本発明の酸加水分解処理液を含有する分散剤は、セメント分散剤として有用であり、各種水硬性材料(例、セメントや石膏などの水硬性材料、それ以外の水硬性材料)に用いることができる。このような水硬性材料と水と本発明のセメント分散剤とを含有し、さらに必要に応じて、細骨材(砂など)や粗骨材(砕石など)を含む水硬性組成物の具体例としては、例えば、セメントペースト、モルタル、コンクリート、プラスターなどが挙げられる。
上記水硬性組成物の中では、水硬性材料としてセメントを使用するセメント組成物が最も一般的であり、セメント組成物は、本発明の分散剤、セメントおよび水を必須成分として含有する。このようなセメント組成物は、本発明の好ましい実施形態の1つである。
セメント組成物に使用されるセメントは、特に限定されるものではないが、具体的には、例えば、ポルトランドセメント(普通、早強、超早強、中庸熱、耐硫酸塩、およびそれぞれの低アルカリ形)、各種混合セメント(高炉セメント、シリカセメント、フライアッシュセメント)、白色ポルトランドセメント、アルミナセメント、超速硬セメント(1クリンカー速硬性セメント、2クリンカー速硬性セメント、リン酸マグネシウムセメント)、グラウト用セメント、油井セメント、低発熱セメント(低発熱型高炉セメント、フライアッシュ混合低発熱型高炉セメント、ビーライト高含有セメント)、超高強度セメント、セメント系固化材、エコセメント(都市ごみ焼却灰、下水汚泥焼却灰の1種以上を原料として製造されたセメント)などが挙げられる。さらに、セメント組成物には、高炉スラグ、フライアッシュ、シンダーアッシュ、クリンカーアッシュ、ハスクアッシュ、シリカヒューム、シリカ粉末、石灰石粉末などの微粉体や石膏などを添加してもよい。また、骨材としては、砂利、砕石、水砕スラグ、再生骨材など以外に、珪石質、粘土質、ジルコン質、ハイアルミナ質、炭化珪素質、黒鉛質、クロム質、クロマグ質、マグネシア質などの耐火骨材を使用することができる。
上記セメント組成物においては、その1m3あたりの単位水量、セメント使用量および水/セメント比(質量比)は、単位水量が好ましくは100kg/m3以上、185kg/m3以下、より好ましくは120kg/m3以上、175kg/m3以下であり、使用セメント量が好ましくは200kg/m3以上、800kg/m3以下、より好ましくは250kg/m3以上、800kg/m3以下であり、水/セメント比(質量比)が好ましくは0.1以上、0.7以下、より好ましくは0.2以上、0.65以下であり、貧配合から富配合まで幅広く使用可能である。本発明の酸加水分解処理液を含有する分散剤は、高減水率領域、すなわち、水/セメント比(質量比)が0.15以上、0.5以下(好ましくは0.15以上、0.4以下)といった水/セメント比の低い領域においても使用可能であり、さらに、単位セメント量が多く水/セメント比が小さい高強度コンクリートや、単位セメント量が300kg/m3以下の貧配合コンクリートのいずれにも有効である。
上記セメント組成物において、本発明の酸加水分解処理液を含有する分散剤の配合量は、例えば、水硬セメントを用いるモルタルやコンクリートなどに使用する場合には、固形分換算で、セメントの質量に対して、好ましくは0.001質量%以上、10.0質量%以下である。このような配合量により、単位水量の低減、強度の増大、耐久性の向上などの各種の好ましい諸効果がもたらされる。本発明の酸加水分解処理液を含有する分散剤の配合量が0.001質量%未満であると、分散性能を充分に発揮することができないことがある。逆に、本発明の酸加水分解処理液を含有する分散剤の配合量が10.0質量%を超えると、分散性を向上させる効果が実質的に飽和することに加え、必要以上に本発明の酸加水分解処理液を含有する分散剤を使用することになり、製造コストが上昇することがある。
上記セメント組成物は、高減水率領域においても高い分散性と分散保持性能を有し、かつ、低温時においても十分な初期分散性と粘性低減性とを発揮し、優れたワーカビリティを有することから、レディーミクストコンクリート、コンクリート2次製品(プレキャストコンクリート)用のコンクリート、遠心成形用コンクリート、振動締め固め用コンクリート、蒸気養生コンクリート、吹付けコンクリート等に有効であり、さらに、中流動コンクリート(スランプ値が22cm以上、25cm以下のコンクリート)、高流動コンクリート(スランプ値が25cm以上で、スランプフロー値が50cm以上、70cm以下のコンクリート)、自己充填性コンクリート、セルフレベリング材などの高い流動性を要求されるモルタルやコンクリートにも有効である。
また、上記セメント組成物は、下記の(1)~(11)に例示するような他の従来公知のセメント添加剤(材)を含有することができる。
(1)水溶性高分子物質:ポリアクリル酸、ポリアクリル酸ナトリウム、ポリメタクリル酸、ポリメタクリル酸ナトリウム、ポリマレイン酸、ポリマレイン酸ナトリウム、アクリル酸・マレイン酸共重合物のナトリウム塩などの不飽和カルボン酸重合物;メチルセルロース、エチルセルロース、ヒドロキシメチルセルロース、ヒドロキシエチルセルロース、カルボキシメチルセルロース、カルボキシエチルセルロース、ヒドロキシプロピルセルロースなどの非イオン性セルロースエーテル類;メチルセルロース、エチルセルロース、ヒドロキシエチルセルロース、ヒドロキシプロピルセルロースなどの多糖類のアルキル化またはヒドロキシアルキル化誘導体の一部または全部のヒドロキシ基の水素原子が、炭素原子数8~40の炭化水素鎖を部分構造として有する疎水性置換基と、スルホン酸基またはそれらの塩を部分構造として有するイオン性親水性置換基で置換されてなる多糖誘導体;酵母グルカンやキサンタンガム、6-1.3グルカン類(直鎖状、分岐鎖状のいずれでもよく、一例を挙げれば、カードラン、パラミロン、パキマン、スクレログルカン、ラミナランなど)などの、微生物醗酵によって製造される多糖類;ポリアクリルアミド;ポリビニルアルコール;デンプン;デンプンリン酸エステル;アルギン酸ナトリウム;ゼラチン;分子内にアミノ基を有するアクリル酸のコポリマーおよびその四級化合物など。
(2)高分子エマルジョン:(メタ)アクリル酸アルキルなどの各種ビニル単量体の共重合物など。
(3)オキシカルボン酸系化合物以外の硬化遅延剤:グルコース、フラクトース、ガラクトース、サッカロース、キシロース、アピオース、リボース、異性化糖などの単糖類や、二糖、三糖などのオリゴ糖、またはデキストリンなどのオリゴ糖、またはデキストランなどの多糖類、これらを含む糖蜜などの糖類;ソルビトールなどの糖アルコール;ケイフッ化マグネシウム;リン酸およびその塩またはホウ酸エステル類;アミノカルボン酸およびその塩;アルカリ可溶タンパク質;フミン酸;タンニン酸;フェノール;グリセリンなどの多価アルコール;アミノトリ(メチレンホスホン酸)、1-ヒドロキシエチリデン-1,1-ジホスホン酸、エチレンジアミンテトラ(メチレンホスホン酸)、ジエチレントリアミンペンタ(メチレンホスホン酸)およびこれらのアルカリ金属塩、アルカリ土類金属塩などのホスホン酸およびその誘導体など。
(4)早強剤・促進剤:塩化カルシウム、亜硝酸カルシウム、硝酸カルシウム、臭化カルシウム、ヨウ化カルシウムなどの可溶性カルシウム塩;塩化鉄、塩化マグネシウムなどの塩化物;硫酸塩;水酸化カリウム;水酸化ナトリウム;炭酸塩;チオ硫酸塩;ギ酸およびギ酸カルシウムなどのギ酸塩;アルカノールアミン;アルミナセメント;カルシウムアルミネートシリケートなど。
(5)オキシアルキレン系以外の消泡剤:燈油、流動パラフィンなどの鉱油系消泡剤;動植物油、ごま油、ひまし油、これらのアルキレンオキシド付加物などの油脂系消泡剤;オレイン酸、ステアリン酸、これらのアルキレンオキシド付加物などの脂肪酸系消泡剤;グリセリンモノリシノレート、アルケニルコハク酸誘導体、ソルビトールモノラウレート、ソルビトールトリオレエート、天然ワックスなどの脂肪酸エステル系消泡剤;オクチルアルコール、ヘキサデシルアルコール、アセチレンアルコール、グリコール類などのアルコール系消泡剤;アクリレートポリアミンなどのアミド系消泡剤;リン酸トリブチル、ナトリウムオクチルホスフェートなどのリン酸エステル系消泡剤;アルミニウムステアレート、カルシウムオレエートなどの金属石鹸系消泡剤;ジメチルシリコーン油、シリコーンペースト、シリコーンエマルジョン、有機変性ポリシロキサン(ジメチルポリシロキサンなどのポリオルガノシロキサン)、フルオロシリコーン油などのシリコーン系消泡剤など。
(6)AE剤:樹脂石鹸、飽和もしくは不飽和脂肪酸、ヒドロキシステアリン酸ナトリウム、ラウリルサルフェート、ABS(アルキルベンゼンスルホン酸)、LAS(直鎖アルキルベンゼンスルホン酸)、アルカンスルホネート、ポリオキシエチレンアルキルエーテル、ポリオキシエチレンアルキルフェニルエーテル、ポリオキシエチレンアルキルエーテル硫酸エステルまたはその塩、ポリオキシエチレンアルキルフェニルエーテル硫酸エステルまたはその塩、ポリオキシエチレンアルキルエーテルリン酸エステルまたはその塩、ポリオキシエチレンアルキルフェニルエーテルリン酸エステルまたはその塩、蛋白質材料、アルケニルスルホコハク酸、α-オレフィンスルホネートなど。
(7)その他界面活性剤:オクタデシルアルコールやステアリルアルコールなどの分子内に6~30個の炭素原子を有する脂肪族1価アルコール;アビエチルアルコールなどの分子内に6~30個の炭素原子を有する脂環式1価アルコール;ドデシルメルカプタンなどの分子内に6~30個の炭素原子を有する1価メルカプタン;ノニルフェノールなどの分子内に6~30個の炭素原子を有するアルキルフェノール;ドデシルアミンなどの分子内に6~30個の炭素原子を有するアミン;ラウリン酸やステアリン酸などの分子内に6~30個の炭素原子を有するカルボン酸に、エチレンオキシド、プロピレンオキシドなどのアルキレンオキシドを10モル以上付加させたポリアルキレンオキシド誘導体類;アルキル基またはアルコキシ基を置換基として有してもよい、スルホン基を有する2個のフェニル基がエーテル結合した、アルキルジフェニルエーテルスルホン酸塩類;各種アニオン性界面活性剤;アルキルアミンアセテート、アルキルトリメチルアンモニウムクロライドなどの各種カチオン性界面活性剤;各種ノニオン性界面活性剤;各種両性界面活性剤;など。
(8)防水剤:脂肪酸(塩)、脂肪酸エステル、油脂、シリコーン、パラフィン、アスファルト、ワックスなど。
(9)防錆剤:亜硝酸塩、リン酸塩、酸化亜鉛など。
(10)ひび割れ低減剤:ポリオキシアルキルエーテルなど。
(11)膨張材:エトリンガイト系、石炭系など。
その他の従来公知のセメント添加剤(材)としては、セメント湿潤剤、増粘剤、分離低減剤、凝集剤、乾燥収縮低減剤、強度増進剤、セルフレベリング剤、防錆剤、着色剤、防カビ剤などを挙げることができる。これらの従来公知のセメント添加剤(材)は、単独で用いても2種以上を併用してもよい。
<分散剤の製造方法>
本発明の酸加水分解処理液を含有する分散剤の製造方法は、リグノセルロース物質を、温度130℃~190℃の熱水中で、30分間~400分間酸加水分解処理して酸加水分解処理液を得ることを含む。
リグノセルロース物質、酸加水分解処理については、分散剤の項で既に説明したとおりである。
本発明の分散剤の製造方法において、好ましくは、酸加水分解処理は、上記式(1)で表されるPf値が350~900となるように行う。
本発明の分散剤の製造方法において、好ましくは、固形分7.0重量%の状態における酸加水分解処理液のブリックス値が4.0~10.0である。ブリックス値については、分散剤の項で既に説明したとおりである。
本発明の分散剤の製造方法において、好ましくは、固形分7.0重量%の状態における酸加水分解処理液の、波長260~300nmにおける吸光度の極大値が350~1700である。波長260~300nmにおける吸光度の極大値については、分散剤の項で既に説明したとおりである。
本発明の分散剤の製造方法は、好ましくは、下記(A)~(C)から選ばれる少なくとも一種の化合物を配合して分散剤を得ることをさらに含む。
(A)カルボキシル基及び/またはその塩含有化合物
(B)酸基およびポリアルキレングリコール鎖を有する化合物
(C)スルホン酸基及び/またはその塩含有高分子化合物
化合物(A)、化合物(B)、および化合物(C)については、分散剤の項で既に説明したとおりである。
本発明の酸加水分解処理液を含有する分散剤の製造方法は、リグノセルロース物質を、温度130℃~190℃の熱水中で、30分間~400分間酸加水分解処理して酸加水分解処理液を得ることを含む。

化合物(A)、化合物(B)、および化合物(C)については、分散剤の項で既に説明したとおりである。
本発明の製造方法で製造された分散剤は、優れた分散性を有し、例えば、無機物質用の分散剤、有機物質用の分散剤、およびセメント用の分散剤として有用である。
以下に実施例を挙げ、本発明をさらに具体的に説明するが、本発明はこれらに限定されるものではない。なお、例中特に断りの無い限り%は重量%を、また、部は重量部を示す。数値範囲はその端点を含むものとする。
リグノセルロース物質の酸加水分解処理液には糖類、リグニン、有機酸、油分、フラン類、灰分などが含まれている。それらの含有量は、用いるリグノセルロース物質の種類により変動し、特定できるものではないが、一例としてリグノセルロース物質として木材を主要な成分として用いた場合には、酸加水分解処理液には、糖類が70重量%以上含有される。各成分は下記に示す測定条件により測定した。
<構成糖の定量>
構成糖のうち、単糖はELSD-HPLC法にて検出した。また多糖は1MのTFAをPE液に対して2倍量加えて、105℃、3時間の加熱で完全加水分解した後に、単糖としてHPLCで定量した。

<リグニン>
ViebockおよびSchwappach法によるメトキシル基の測定法(「リグニン化学研究法」P.336~340、平成6年ユニ出版株式会社発行を参照のこと。)に準じて測定し、リグニン量をメトキシル基の量で代用した。

2.4L容の回転型オートクレーブに広葉樹チップ絶乾量300gを入れ、水を加えて液比を3.2L/kgとした。170℃で30分間保持して加水分解処理した後、チップと酸加水分解処理液とを300メッシュ濾布で分離した。その後、ロータリーエバポレータを用いて、20重量%となるように濃縮し、加水分解処理液1-1を得た。
2.4L容の回転型オートクレーブに広葉樹チップ絶乾量300gを入れ、水を加えて液比を3.2L/kgとした。170℃で30分間保持して加水分解処理した後、チップと酸加水分解処理液とを300メッシュ濾布で分離した。その後、ロータリーエバポレータを用いて、20重量%となるように濃縮し、加水分解処理液1-1を得た。

<酸加水分解処理液2-1~酸加水分解処理液2-7、酸加水分解処理液3-1~酸加水分解処理液3-7>
ラジアータパインの木材チップを、篩い分け器(ジャイロシフター)を使用して篩い分けし、サイズが9.5~25.4mmの木材チップを得た。

次に温度計を備えた回転型オートクレーブを用い、この木材チップ絶乾量200gに液比3.2(L/kg)となるように水を加え、168~170℃まで昇温して酸加水分解処理をバッチ式で行った。最高温度における保持時間(滞留時間)を0.05分間(3秒間)~70分間の範囲で変化させ、Pファクターを150~950の範囲で変化させた。
次に、チップと酸加水分解処理液とを300メッシュ濾布で分離した。
その後、ロータリーエバポレータを用いて、20重量%となるように濃縮し、分散剤の評価で使用する酸加水分解処理液2-1~酸加水分解処理液2-7、酸加水分解処理液3-1~酸加水分解処理液3-7(分散剤)を得た。加水分解処理条件および酸加水分解処理液の分析結果を表1-1および表1-2に示す。
なお、ブリックス値は、酸加水分解処理液2-1~酸加水分解処理液2-7を、水を添加することで固形分7%に調整した後、ブリックス計(PAL-1、アタゴ社製)によって測定した。
波長280nmにおける吸光度(A280)は、酸加水分解処理液3-1~酸加水分解処理液3-7を、水を添加することで固形分7%に調整した後、紫外可視分光光度計(島津製作所製UV-1800)によって測定した。
なお、ブリックス値は、酸加水分解処理液2-1~酸加水分解処理液2-7を、水を添加することで固形分7%に調整した後、ブリックス計(PAL-1、アタゴ社製)によって測定した。
波長280nmにおける吸光度(A280)は、酸加水分解処理液3-1~酸加水分解処理液3-7を、水を添加することで固形分7%に調整した後、紫外可視分光光度計(島津製作所製UV-1800)によって測定した。
<実施例1-1~実施例1-3、実施例2-1~実施例2-4、実施例3-1~実施例3-4、比較例1-1~比較例1-2、比較例2-1~比較例2-4、比較例3-1~比較例3-4>
表2のように配合した細骨材、セメント、水および表3-1~表3-3に示す酸加水分解処理液(分散剤)を投入してモルタルミキサーによる機械練りでモルタルを調製し、モルタルフロー及び凝結時間を評価した。底面の直径20cm、上面の直径10cm、高さ30cmの中空円筒のミニスランプコーンに上記のモルタルを詰め、ミニスランプコーンを垂直に持ち上げた際のテーブルに広がったモルタルの2方向の直径の平均値をモルタルフロー値とした。添加量が少なく、モルタルフロー値が大きい方が、分散剤の性能が良好と判断される。各分散剤を使用したモルタルは空気量をAE剤および消泡剤を用いて、空気量を揃えて試験を行った。結果を表3-1~表3-3に示す。
表2のように配合した細骨材、セメント、水および表3-1~表3-3に示す酸加水分解処理液(分散剤)を投入してモルタルミキサーによる機械練りでモルタルを調製し、モルタルフロー及び凝結時間を評価した。底面の直径20cm、上面の直径10cm、高さ30cmの中空円筒のミニスランプコーンに上記のモルタルを詰め、ミニスランプコーンを垂直に持ち上げた際のテーブルに広がったモルタルの2方向の直径の平均値をモルタルフロー値とした。添加量が少なく、モルタルフロー値が大きい方が、分散剤の性能が良好と判断される。各分散剤を使用したモルタルは空気量をAE剤および消泡剤を用いて、空気量を揃えて試験を行った。結果を表3-1~表3-3に示す。
なお、凝結時間は、断熱材で覆われた容器の中にモルタルを流し込み、経時温度測定装置を用いて、モルタル温度の経時変化を調べ、その最高温度到達時間をモルタルの凝結時間とした。一般に、凝結時間が早い方が、良好と判断される。

<実施例1-4~実施例1-6、実施例2-5~実施例2-7、実施例3-5~実施例3-7、比較例1-3、比較例2-5、比較例3-5>
表4のように配合した細骨材、セメント、水および表5-1~表5-3に示す分散剤を投入してモルタルミキサーによる機械練りでモルタルを調製し、モルタルフロー及び凝結時間を評価した。結果を表5-1~表5-3に示す。

※※※「ナフタレンスルホン酸」はナフタレンスルホン酸ホルムアルデヒド縮合物系分散剤((株)フローリック(製品名フローリックPS))を意味する。
なお、重合体Aは、カルボキシル基および/またはその塩含有化合物である。重合体Bは、酸基およびポリアルキレングリコール鎖を有する化合物である。

Claims (14)
- リグノセルロース物質を、温度130℃~190℃の熱水中で30分間~400分間酸加水分解処理して得られる酸加水分解処理液を含有する、分散剤。
- 固形分7.0重量%の状態における酸加水分解処理液の波長260~300nmにおける吸光度の極大値が350~1700である、請求項1に記載の分散剤。
- 酸加水分解処理液の固形分7.0重量%の状態におけるブリックス値が4.0~10.0である、請求項1または2に記載の分散剤。
- 酸加水分解処理が、処理温度130~190℃、処理時間30分間~400分間の条件で、且つ下式で表されるPf値が、350~900となるような条件で行われる、請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載の分散剤。

[式中、Tは酸加水分解処理液の絶対温度を表す] - 下記(A)~(C)から選ばれる少なくとも一種の化合物を含有する、請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載の分散剤。
(A)カルボキシル基及び/またはその塩含有化合物
(B)酸基およびポリアルキレングリコール鎖を有する化合物
(C)スルホン酸基及び/またはその塩含有高分子化合物 - 無機物質用の分散剤である、請求項1~5のいずれか1項に記載の分散剤。
- 有機物質用の分散剤である、請求項1~5のいずれか1項に記載の分散剤。
- セメント用の分散剤である、請求項1~5のいずれか1項に記載の分散剤。
- 請求項1~8のいずれか1項に記載の分散剤、被分散剤および分散媒を含有する、分散組成物。
- リグノセルロース物質を、温度130℃~190℃の熱水中で、30分間~400分間酸加水分解処理して酸加水分解処理液を得ることを含む、酸加水分解処理液を含有する分散剤の製造方法。
- 酸加水分解処理を、下式で表されるPf値が、350~900となるように行うことを含む、請求項10に記載の分散剤の製造方法。

- 酸加水分散処理液に、下記(A)~(C)から選ばれる少なくとも一種の化合物を配合して分散剤を得ることをさらに含む、請求項10~13のいずれか1項に記載の分散剤の製造方法。

(B)酸基およびポリアルキレングリコール鎖を有する化合物
(C)スルホン酸基及び/またはその塩含有高分子化合物
