- the preview information here is preview information currently displayed or preview information displayed last time.
- the specific attribute is, for example, an attribute that is preview information of specific content.
- the second display control unit 122 uses, for example, a changeability table that associates the menu name of each content with the changeability of the preview information.
- FIG. 13 shows an example of the changeability table.
- the preview information of the contents whose menu names are “diary” and “news” can be changed, and the preview information of the contents whose menu names are “gourmet”, “schedule” and “weather” cannot be changed. It is expressed.
- the second display control unit 122 refers to the changeability corresponding to the menu name of the icon displayed at the predetermined position. If it is “possible”, the preview information changed from the previous time is displayed and “impossible” is displayed. If so, the same preview information as the previous time is displayed. Thereby, it is possible to prevent preview information from changing every time an icon is selected for specific content.
- the preview information may change accordingly. For example, since the contents of the weather forecast change in the morning and afternoon, the contents change when the weather forecast is displayed as preview information. In that case, even if the change is not allowed, the preview information of new contents is actually displayed. That is, “unchangeable” in this modification means that the preview information is not changed every time an icon is selected (for example, typhoon information is displayed next to the weather forecast), and the content itself It does not mean that the preview information is not changed even though is changed (for example, the weather forecast displayed in the morning is displayed even in the afternoon).
- an attribute of preview information that is not changed for example, an attribute (recommended shopping information, restaurant information, or the like) that is information according to the user's preference is used.
- This attribute information is highly interested by the user, and is information that the user wants the user to see many times from the information provider.
- Other attributes such as information corresponding to the user's location (such as restaurant information near the user) and attributes corresponding to the current time (such as the user's next schedule and time sale information) Is also used. These pieces of information often become meaningless when the user moves or time passes, so even when the user rotates the icon, it can be displayed many times without changing to other information. It is desirable to make it easy for the user to notice. According to this modification, it is possible to display preview information that is preferably not changed each time an icon is selected without being changed as such.
- the attributes of the preview information may change. For example, if the user's position changes, information corresponding to the user's position also changes, and if time passes, information corresponding to the current time also changes.
- the second display control unit 122 displays the changed preview information after that when the attribute is changed and the attribute corresponding to the user's position or the information corresponding to the current time is lost.
- the attribute of the preview information may change to become information corresponding to the position of the user or information corresponding to the current time. In this case, the second display control unit 122 does not change the preview information after the attribute is changed even if the changed preview information has been displayed.
- recommended restaurant information for Shibuya is displayed many times, but recommended restaurant information for places other than Shibuya is displayed while switching.
- recommended restaurant information is displayed in a predetermined order (for example, Shinjuku ⁇ Shinagawa ⁇ Shibuya) as in the embodiment, recommended restaurant information in the order of Shinjuku ⁇ Shinagawa ⁇ Shibuya.
- recommended restaurant information of Shibuya is displayed as preview information many times.
- schedule information each schedule information is displayed while the schedule time is far away, but when the schedule time approaches, the schedule information is displayed as preview information many times.
- the preview information may not be changed every time an icon is selected, but may be changed when the number of times an icon is selected exceeds a threshold value. Further, this threshold value may be variable. This threshold value may be determined according to the attribute of the preview information. For example, the second display control unit 122 does not change the preview information until an icon corresponding to the preview information is selected by the selection unit 130 a number of times corresponding to the attribute of the preview information. As an attribute of preview information, for example, an attribute indicating which content is preview information is used. In this case, the second display control unit 122 uses, for example, a selection count table in which the menu name of each content and the selection count (threshold value) of the icon are associated with each other.
- FIG. 14 shows an example of the selection count table.
- the menu names “diary”, “news”, and “gourmet” are associated with the number of selections “5”, “1”, and “10”, respectively.
- the second display control unit 122 refers to the number of selections corresponding to the menu name of the icon displayed at the predetermined position, and if the number of times that the icon has been selected since the previous preview information change is less than the referenced threshold. If it is equal to or greater than the threshold value, the preview information is changed. Thereby, the frequency with which preview information is changed can be made different for each preview information.
- the number of selections may be made different depending on, for example, preview information of the same news content or top news, economic news, or political news.
- the number of selections may be varied depending on whether or not the preview information includes a photo.
- information that the user wants to know (recommended restaurant information, etc.) is changed less frequently, and information (news articles, etc.) that the user wants to attract is changed.
- the frequency with which the preview information is displayed can be set as necessary, such as increasing the number of times.
- the second display control unit 122 displays a plurality of elements included in the content in a predetermined order.
- This order may be determined for each user who uses the user terminal 10, for example.
- the second display control unit 122 displays a plurality of elements as preview information in the order according to the user's attribute.
- As the user attribute, age, sex, occupation, hobby, etc. are used. These attributes may be stored in advance in the storage unit 12 of the user terminal 10 or may be acquired from an external device.
- the second display control unit 122 uses, for example, an order table in which user attributes are associated with the order of each element.
- FIG. 15 shows an example of the order table.
- the order of each element of news content is associated with user attributes (user age) of “20 to 50s”, “60s and above” and “10s and below”.
- user attributes user age
- the second display control unit 122 refers to the user attribute stored in the terminal, and displays each element as preview information in the order corresponding to the attribute in the order table.
- user attributes acquired from an external device that can be accessed by allowing the user to input an ID and a password may be used.
- attributes other than the user's age may be associated with the order. Further, without using the order table, for example, it is estimated from the history of the Web page that the user of each attribute is browsing, the high possibility that the user is interested in each element of the content, You may determine the order according to height.
- the order table for example, when preview information of content providing sports news is displayed, if the user likes to view the image, preview information including the photo is displayed first, and he likes to see the content of the play. If so, the preview information including the article about the play content is displayed first, and if the user likes to see the game result, the preview information including the game result is displayed first. In either case, the preview information is displayed as compared to the case where the order that is not related to the user attribute is used by displaying the preview information in order from the highest possibility that the user is interested. It is possible to increase the possibility that the user will browse.
- the second display control unit 122 may switch whether to change the preview information according to the movement speed of the icon moved to a predetermined position.
- the second display control unit 122 calculates, for example, an average speed from the start of movement of the icon moved to a predetermined position to the end of movement as the movement speed of the icon.
- the information is changed, and if it is less than the threshold value, the preview information is not changed. This is because when an icon is moved quickly to a predetermined position, the icon is intended for the user, and the preview information is likely to be viewed by the user. When you come to, another preview information is displayed.
- the second display control unit 122 may change the preview information if the moving speed is less than the threshold value, and may not change the preview information if the moving speed is equal to or higher than the threshold value.
- a mode of user operation for example, a drag operation and a flick operation are used.
- the user performs a drag operation the user releases his or her finger at or near a predetermined position, so that the intended icon can be moved to the predetermined position and preview information can be displayed.
- the user performs a flick operation the icon continues to move for a while after the user lifts his / her finger, and then stops. Therefore, there is a high possibility that the selected icon is not intended by the user.
- the second display control unit 122 changes the preview information when the icon is moved to a predetermined position by an operation (for example, a drag operation) that stops after the icon is stopped, and changes the preview information while the icon is moving (the icon is moved).
- the preview information is not changed when the icon is moved to a predetermined position by an operation (for example, flick operation) to be finished (without stopping).
- an operation for example, flick operation
- an operation using a user's finger an operation using a tool such as a touch pen, and an operation of rotating or tilting the user terminal 10 may be used.
- the sensor unit 16 of the user terminal 10 includes an acceleration sensor and a gyro sensor, and the rotation and inclination of the housing are detected.
- the second display control unit 122 calculates the contact area between the screen and the finger or the tool from the detection result of the sensor portion of the touch screen display of the input unit 14, and if the calculated contact area is equal to or greater than the threshold, If it is less than the threshold, it is determined that the operation is a tool.
- the second display control unit 122 changes the preview information when an operation with a finger is performed. Compared to that, using a tool makes it difficult to move the icon to the target position, and it becomes more difficult to operate by rotating or tilting the housing, so other icons can be selected before the intended icon is selected The preview information corresponding to them is less likely to be browsed.
- the second display control unit 122 may browse preview information corresponding to the selected icon before the time when the icon stops exceeds the threshold. If the same icon is selected next time, the preview information corresponding to the selected icon is likely to be viewed when this time exceeds the threshold. Change when selected. Thereby, it is possible to reduce the preview information that is not browsed by the user while preventing the preview information browsed by the user from being displayed many times.
- FIG. 16 shows an example of a display mode of a browsed icon.
- the icons B3 and B5 are displayed in a browsed mode (a mode in which the outer peripheral line is thin), and the icons B1, B2, and B4 are displayed in an unviewed mode (a mode in which the outer peripheral line is thick).
- FIG. 17 shows a functional configuration of the user terminal 10 of the present modification.
- the control unit 11 of the user terminal 10 implements a function corresponding to the determination unit 140 in addition to the units illustrated in FIG.
- the determination unit 140 is means for determining whether or not the content has been browsed. For example, the determination unit 140 is notified that new content has been acquired from the acquisition unit 110, and is notified that the content preview information has been displayed from the second display control unit 122. Then, when new content is acquired, the determination unit 140 determines that the content has not been browsed, and when the content preview information is displayed for a predetermined period or longer, the content has been browsed. It is determined that The determination unit 140 notifies the display control unit 120 of the result of determining whether or not browsing has been completed, together with the menu name of the content.
- the second display control unit 122 switches whether to change the preview information of the content according to whether the content has been browsed by the determination unit 140. For example, the second display control unit 122 displays the changed preview information for the content determined to be browsed, and does not change the preview information for the content determined not to be browsed.
- this display control it is determined that the content for which the preview information is displayed for a period shorter than the predetermined period is unviewed, so that the same preview information is displayed the next time the icon is selected. Is displayed.
- the preview information that has a short display period and is highly likely not to be browsed by the user is displayed again, the possibility that the user browses the preview information can be increased.
- preview information that has a long display period and is likely to be viewed by the user is changed, it is possible to reduce the user's continuous viewing of the same preview information.
- the determination method by the determination unit 140 is not limited to the above.
- the determination unit 140 includes, for example, a predetermined period of content attributes (such as the amount of text and the number of images), user attributes (such as age and occupation), user locations (such as home, commuting routes, and workplaces) and preview information. It may be varied according to the displayed time. Further, the determination unit 140 may determine that browsing has been performed when a predetermined operation (such as a tap operation) is performed on the selected icon. In any case, even if the icon is selected and the preview information is displayed, it may be determined that the content is not browsed, and the display is controlled as described above, so that the preview information is Can increase the possibility of browsing, or reduce the user's continuous browsing of the same preview information.
- the display control unit 120 may display an image indicating whether or not the preview information is changed when an icon is selected. For example, an image that is displayed when the preview information is changed when the icon is rotated clockwise and the preview information is not changed when the icon is rotated counterclockwise will be described.
- FIG. 18 shows an example of an image indicating whether or not the preview information has been changed.
- an image C1 representing a character string “change mode” is displayed in the area A1 when a plurality of icons are rotated clockwise.
- an image C2 representing a character string “invariant mode” is displayed in the area A1 when a plurality of icons are rotated counterclockwise.
- An image C1 represents a state in which the changed preview information is displayed when the icon is selected, and an image C2 displays the same preview information as before without changing the preview information when the icon is selected. It shows that it is in a state.
- the second display control unit 122 changes the preview information by sequentially displaying a plurality of elements of the content.
- the present invention is not limited to this.
- the second display control unit 122 changes the other part of the same element (the latter part of the same sentence) when only a part of the element (for example, the first part of the top news sentence) is displayed as preview information. It may be displayed as preview information.
- the second display control unit 122 processes a certain element (for example, by converting a content image into a thumbnail image) and displays it as preview information
- the second display control unit 122 represents the same element without processing (content content)
- the image itself may be displayed as modified preview information.
- a change in the processing method for example, a cut-out image of the same-size content
- the second display control unit 122 may perform the change by displaying not a specific element of the content but a part of the content (such as a sentence or an image) that is cut at random. In any case, at least a part of the displayed preview information may be changed. Note that the same preview information as that displayed in the past may be displayed again while the change is repeated. It is sufficient that the preview information is changed from at least the previously displayed preview information. By doing so, it is possible to make the user have the expectation that new knowledge can be obtained by looking at the preview information that is changed every time. Further, if the user does not remember the preview information displayed in the past, even if it is displayed again, new knowledge can be obtained.
- the second display control unit 122 displays the preview information in the area A2 in which the size, shape, and arrangement are fixed. Preview information may be displayed in areas having different arrangements. Further, the second display control unit 122 may change the size, shape, and arrangement of the area for displaying the preview information. For example, the size may be changed according to the amount of preview information, or the arrangement may be changed according to the type of content.
- the preview information may be scrolled and displayed, or may extend over a plurality of pages. However, it is desirable that the information be in the display area so that the user can browse at a glance.
- the second display control unit 122 may display preview information superimposed on the icon.
- the second display control unit 122 superimposes the preview information on the icon by notifying the second display control unit 122 of the position where the first display control unit 121 displays the icon.
- the first display control unit 121 may enlarge an icon stopped at a predetermined position, and the second display control unit 122 may display preview information on the inside thereof.
- the second display control unit 122 may display preview information in both the area A2 and the icon. In any case, the preview information displayed in the icon is changed every time the icon is selected.
- Icon Display Although a plurality of icons are displayed in a row in an elliptical shape in the embodiment, the present invention is not limited to this. For example, they may be displayed side by side in two or more rows, or may be displayed side by side in an endless shape such as an ellipse (such as a straight line). In the case of a shape having an end, the icon that has reached one end may be circulated by displaying it from the other end. Further, the circular movement is not essential, and when the edges of the plurality of icons reach a predetermined position, the plurality of icons may be displayed so as to move in a reciprocating manner along the column so that the icons do not move any further.
- the present invention is not limited to this, and the positional relationship between the plurality of icons and the preview information may not be determined, and the positional relationship between them and the content may be determined. In any case, it is only necessary that the preview information is displayed in an area that is different from the content display area and that is determined to display the preview information.

Abstract
