Definitions
- the present invention relates to a spinous process fusion type implant, and more particularly, a spinous process fusion type inserted between adjacent spinous processes to treat spinal canal stenosis caused by narrowing of the spinal canal, nerve root canal or intervertebral cavity of the spine. It relates to an implant.
- the spinal canal is a passage through which the spinal nerves, which connect with the brain in the head and transmit the signals from the brain to the arms and legs, act as "strands.” Holes in the back of each vertebrae are connected up and down to form a tunnel through which the nerve runs from the brain to the arms and legs.
- Spinal canal stenosis is a disease in which the passage of these spinal nerves narrows and compresses the nerves.
- the most common degenerative stenosis is the spine undergoes aging, and in the front the disc (intervertebral disc), which causes degenerative changes, pops up, presses the nerve, and in the back, the yellow ligaments that envelop the nerve thicken and stiffen, pressing the nerve, and the back of the spinal canal. It is caused by the enlargement of the posterior joint located in the vertebral nerve and the vertebral nerves being pressed by the bones (bones) that are abnormally grown by the friction of the vertebrae.
- the ligaments In addition, in order to insert the implant between the spinous process, the ligaments must be cut and inserted behind the back, so that the operation takes a long time and takes a long time to recover the patient after the operation is over.
- the wing portion coupled between the spinous process and the upper and lower spinous process between the spinous process is not a structure that can be adjusted to the thickness of the spinous process, there is a problem that the implant is not fully and stably combined with the spinous process of the upper and lower.

- the portion 31c of the bolt body, which extends from the portion 32 and 42 to which it is coupled, forms a cylindrical body, and the outer circumferential surface of the bolt body corresponding to the portion 31b to which the right wings 33 and 43 are coupled is through-coupled. Some are flattened to allow the right wing to rotate.
- the spinous process fusion implant 10 is inserted into the adjacent spinous process sp1 and sp2 and then rotates the first rotary rod 31 and the second rotary rod 41 so that the upper blade 32, 33) is rotated upward, and the lower blades 42, 43 are rotated downward.
- the lower blades (42, 43) can be rotated downward than the upper blades (32, 33).
- Fastening nuts 35 and 45 are coupled to the outer bolt bodies 31 and 41 of the right wings 33 and 43, and the right wing 33 is tightened by tightening the fastening nuts 35 coupled to the first rotary rod 31.
- the tightening nut 35 is continuously rotated to tighten the left wing 32 along the bolt body 31.
- the left wing 32 is also in close contact with the side of the upper plate 21 by moving in the direction of the wing 33.
- the right wing 43 is moved along the bolt body 41 in the direction of the left wing 42 by tightening the fastening nut 45 coupled to the second rotary rod 41.
- the left wing 42 continues to tighten the tightening nut 45 when the right wing 43 abuts the side of the lower plate 22 and no longer moves, and this time the left wing 42 also follows the right wing along the bolt body 41. In the direction of 43), the left wing 42 is also in close contact with the side of the lower plate 22.
- the left wing 32 and the right wing 33 constituting the upper wing are tightly tightened in a direction facing each other, and the left wing 42 and the right wing 43 constituting the lower wing face each other. Tighten tightly.
- the fixing nut 36 is coupled to the outer bolt body 31 of the tightening nut 35, and the tightening nut 45
- the fixing nut 46 is coupled to the outer bolt body 41 of the tightening nut 45.
- the present invention by providing an elastic force to the upper spinous process and the lower spinous process to maintain the space between the upper and lower spinous process, as well as fused with the upper and lower spinous process through the bone fusion hole formed in the upper plate and the lower plate spinous process There is an effect that can prevent the phenomenon that the deviation between the spinous process without damaging.
- the plurality of spikes provided on the wing sticks to both sides of the spinous process so that the upper and lower wings are stably coupled to the upper and lower spinous processes.
- the upper wing and the lower wing can be inserted between the spinous process in the folded state, so that the wing is not caught on the upper and lower spinous process during insertion, there is an effect that can be inserted from the side as well as the spinous process.
