Abstract

Die vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Hubkolbenbrennkraftmaschine mit einstellbarem Verdichtungsverhältnis eines Zylinders (1) mittels eines variablen Abstands eines Kolbens (4) zum Zylinderkopf (3) im oberen Totpunkt, vorzugsweise mittels Änderung der effektiven Länge eines Pleuels (4.1), wobei eine Kolbenbodengeometrie eine Muldenform aufweist, die umrandet ist mit einer Kolbenrandgeometrie, die angestellt ist, vorzugsweise so, dass bei jeweils unterschiedlichem Abstand des Kolbens zum Zylinderkopf (3) im oberen Totpunkt, insbesondere bei unterschiedlich eingestellter effektiver Pleuellänge, ein in Richtung auf den Kolbenrand wandernder Einspritzstrahl in Richtung der Muldenform abgelenkt wird.
