Abstract

【課題】 その目的は、複数の磁気検出部で被測定電流を検出する場合に、外来磁界の影響を受けても、磁気検出部の故障判断を正確に行うことが可能な電流センサを提供する。 【解決手段】 第1の磁気検出部23及び第2の磁気検出部25は、電流路4に流れる被測定電流が発生する磁界強度(S)と外来磁界強度(N)との比率であるS/N比が一致する位置に配置されている。処理部47は、第1の磁気検出部23の検出信号S43と第2の磁気検出部25S45とが略一致している場合には正常動作状態であると判断する。処理部47は、検出信号S43とS45とが不一致の場合には、第1の磁気検出部23及び第2の磁気検出部25のいずれか一方が故障していると判断する。

Description

電流センサ
 本発明は、電流路を流れる被測定電流を、被測定電流によって生じる磁気を検出することで検出する電流センサに関するものである。
 近年、磁化方向が固定された固定磁性層、非磁性層、及び磁化方向が外部磁界に対して変動するフリー磁性層の積層構造を備える磁気抵抗効果素子(GMR素子、TMR素子)を用いたセンサが提案されている。例えば、電気自動車やハイブリッドカーにおけるモータ駆動技術などの分野では比較的大きな電流が取り扱われるため、これらの用途向けに大電流を非接触で測定可能な電流センサが求められている。
 このような電流センサとして、被測定電流によって生じる磁界の変化を、磁気検出素子を用いて検出するものがある。
 特許文献1に開示された電流センサでは、基板の表裏に磁気検出部を配置し、2つの磁気検出部の出力が一致するように感度を調整し、故障の有無を判別する。

 しかしながら、上述した従来の電流センサでは、上記2つの磁気検出部の間で、電流路を流れる被測定電流が発生する磁界の強度と外来磁界の強度との比率であるS/N比が異なるため、外来磁界が大きいと、上記2つの磁気検出部の位置において被測定電流が発生する磁界は一致しても、外来磁界が異なり、実際には故障していないにも拘わらず、故障と判断されることがある。特に、被測定電流からの磁界が小さい場合に、故障の誤判断が多くなる。
 また、上述した電流センサでは、小型化を図りたいという要請がある。
 本発明は、上述した事情に鑑みてなされたものであり、その目的は、複数の磁気検出部で被測定電流を検出する場合に、外来磁界の影響を受けても、磁気検出部の故障判断を正確に行うことが可能な電流センサを提供する。
 また、本発明は、小型化が図れ、且つ磁気検出部の故障判断を正確に行うことが可能な電流センサを提供する。
 上述した従来技術の問題を解決し、上述した目的を達成するために、本発明の電流センサは、被測定電流が流れる方向に沿って延びる電流路と、前記電流路の周囲を囲み、前記電流路の表面と対向する領域に開口部を有する電磁シールドと、前記電流路と対面した第1の磁気検出部及び第2の磁気検出部と、を有し、前記第2の磁気検出部は、前記第1の磁気検出部に比較して、前記被測定電流が流れる方向における前記電磁シールドの端部に近い位置に設けられ、前記第2の磁気検出部と前記電流路との距離は、前記第1の磁気検出部と前記電流路との距離よりも短いことを特徴とする。
 この構成によれば、第2の磁気検出部は、第1の磁気検出部に比較して、被測定電流が流れる方向における電磁シールドの端部に近い位置に設けられ、第2の磁気検出部と電流路との距離は、第1の磁気検出部と電流路との距離よりも短くなっている。この為、電流路を流れる被測定電流が発生する磁界の強度と外来磁界の強度との比率であるS/N比が、第1の磁気検出部と第2の磁気検出部とで近くなる。よって,外来磁界が強くても、故障の誤判定を防止できる。
 好適には、本発明の電流センサは、前記第1の磁気検出部の出力を増幅する第1の増幅器と、前記第2の磁気検出部の出力を増幅する第2の増幅器と、前記第1の増幅器で増幅された出力と前記第2の増幅器で増幅された出力とが、前記第1の磁気検出部及び前記第2の磁気検出部の双方が正常動作をしている場合に一致するように、前記第1の増幅器及び前記第2の増幅器の増幅率が規定され、前記第1の増幅器で増幅された出力と前記第2の増幅手段で増幅された出力とが一致しているか否かを判断する処理部をさらに有する。
 この構成によれば、前記第1の増幅器で増幅された出力と前記第2の増幅器で増幅された出力との一致・不一致を判断すればよく、簡単な構成で、故障を検出できる。
 好適には、本発明の電流センサは、前記電磁シールド内で前記電流路及び前記開口部と対面し、前記被測定電流が流れる方向に沿った基板と、第1の磁気検出部が、基板の電流路と対向しない面に設けられ、第2の磁気検出部が、基板の電流路と対向する面に設けられている。
 この構成によれば、第1の磁気検出部及び第2の磁気検出部が同一の基板上に設置されるため、相対的な位置精度を確保しやすくなる。
 好適には、本発明の電流センサは、前記電磁シールド内で前記電流路及び前記開口部と対面し、前記被測定電流が流れる方向に沿って位置し、前記電流路に対して前記開口部の向きに傾斜した基板とを有し、前記第1の磁気検出部及び前記第2の磁気検出部は、前記基板の一方の面に設けられている。
 この構成によれば、前記電流路に対して前記開口部の向きに基板を傾斜させたことで、基板の同一面に前記第1の磁気検出部と前記第2の磁気を配置でき、製造しやすくできる。
 また、この構成によれば、第1の磁気検出部及び第2の磁気検出部が同一の基板上に設置されるため、相対的な位置精度を確保しやすくなる。
 好適には、本発明の電流センサの前記電磁シールドは、U字型をしており、前記電磁シールドの底面に沿って前記電流路が配置され、前記第1の磁気検出部及び前記第2の磁気検出部は、前記電流路よりも前記電磁シールドの開口に近い側に配置され、前記第1の磁気検出部は、前記被測定電流が流れる方向における前記電磁シールドの中央付近に設けられており、前記第2の磁気検出部は、前記被測定電流が流れる方向において前記電磁シールドの中央からずれた位置に設けられている。
 この構成によれば、電磁シールドを小型化できる。
 好適には、前記第1の磁気検出部及び前記第2の磁気検出部は、前記被測定電流が発生する磁界強度と外来磁界強度との比率(S/N比)が一致する位置に配置したので、大きな外来磁界が加わった場合でも、第1の磁気検出部23の出力と第2の磁気検出部の出力への外来磁界の影響は同じである。つまり、外来磁界の大きさに拘わらず、第1の磁気検出部の出力と第2の磁気検出部の出力は、比例する。この為、外来磁界の強さに拘わらず、正確な故障判断ができる。
 本発明の電流センサは、被測定電流が流れる方向に沿って延びる電流路と、前記電流路の周囲を囲み、前記表面と対向する領域に開口部を有する電磁シールドと、前記電磁シールド内で前記電流路及び前記開口部と対面し、前記被測定電流が流れる方向に沿った基板と、前記基板の一方の面に設けられた第1の磁気検出部と、前記基板の他方の面の前記第1の磁気検出部と対向する位置に設けられた第2の磁気検出部とを有し、前記第1の磁気検出部及び前記第2の磁気検出部は、前記被測定電流が流れる方向において前記電磁シールドの中央からずれた位置に設けられている。
 この構成によれば、前記第2の磁気検出部を、前記基板の他方の面の前記第1の磁気検出部と対向する位置に設け、前記第1の磁気検出部及び前記第2の磁気検出部を、前記被測定電流が流れる方向において前記電磁シールドの中央からずれた位置に設けたことで、前記第1の磁気検出部及び前記第2の磁気検出部のS/Nが完全に一致しないまでも近くなる。そのため、大きな外来磁界が加わった場合でも、第1の磁気検出部の出力と第2の磁気検出部の出力への外来磁界の影響は、従来に比較して近くなる。そのため、第1の磁気検出部及び第2の磁気検出部の故障を従来に比較して、適切に検出できる。被測定電流が小さく、外来磁界が大きい場合(S/N比が小さい場合)でも、外来磁界の影響の差を小さくし、正確な故障判断ができる。
 また、この構成によれば、第1の磁気検出部及び第2の磁気検出部が同一の基板の表裏に対向して設置されるため、相対的な位置精度を確保しやすくなる。
 好適には、本発明の電流センサの前記電流路は、前記被測定電流が流れる方向に沿って延びる平らな表面を持ち、横断面が長方形であり、厚みより長い幅を有している。
 本発明によれば、複数の磁気検出部で被測定電流を検出する場合に、外来磁界の影響を受けても、磁気検出部の故障判断を正確に行うことが可能な電流センサを提供することができる。
 また、本発明によれば、小型化が図れ、且つ磁気検出部の故障判断を正確に行うことが可能な電流センサを提供することができる。

 以下、本発明の実施形態に係る電流センサについて説明する。
 <第1実施形態>
 図1は、本発明の実施形態の電流センサ1の外観斜視図である。図2は、図1に示す電流センサ1のZ方向から見た場合の平面図である。図3は、図1に示す基板33、第1の磁気検出部23及び第2の磁気検出部25のY方向から見た位置関係を説明するための図である。
 電流センサ1は、電流路となる導体部材で構成される電流路4を流れる電流の電流値を検出する。本実施形態では、電流路4の断面は、幅(Y方向)が厚み(Z方向)より長い、略長方形をしている。電流路4に流れる電流が、被測定電流となる。
 図1、図2及び図5に示すように、電流センサ1は、例えば、電磁シールド15、第1の磁気検出部23、第2の磁気検出部25、基板33、第1の増幅器43、第2の増幅器45及び処理部47を有する。
 図1に示すように、電流センサ1では、例えば、樹脂製の筐体(図示せず)内部に一体成形された電磁シールド15が配設されている。
 また、電磁シールド15の内側では、第1の磁気検出部23と第2の磁気検出部25とが基板33上に設けられている。
 [電磁シールド15]
 電磁シールド15は、例えば、磁性板15A,15B,15Cからなる断面略U字形に磁性材で一体的に成形されており、筐体の内部で、上方(Z方向プラス側)に開口部15Dを向けた状態で設置されている。
 電磁シールド15は、磁性板15A,15B,15Cで囲まれた領域に磁束を誘導すると共に、外乱をもたらす外部磁界に対して耐性を備えている。このため、隣接電流路などの存在による外部磁界影響が懸念される設置環境下でも、ある程度良好な検出精度での使用が可能となる。
 電磁シールド15の磁性板15Cは、電流路4の平面4aに対向し、且つ近接して位置している。そして、磁性板15Aと15Bとによって、電流路4を厚み方向(Y方向)の両側から所定の距離を隔てて挟み込んでいる。電磁シールド15は、電流路4と非接触である。
 [第1の磁気検出部23及び第2の磁気検出部25]
 第1の磁気検出部23は、電磁シールド15内の基板33の表面(つまり、電流路4aに対向していない面)33a上に設けられ、電磁シールド15の開口部15Dと対面している。
 また、第1の磁気検出部23は、電流路4内を電流が流れる方向(X方向)における磁性板15の中央付近に設けられている。
 また、第2の磁気検出部25は、電磁シールド15内の基板33の裏面(つまり、電流路4aに対向している面)33b上に設けられ、電流路4の表面4aと対面している。
 また、第2の磁気検出部25は、電流路4内を電流が流れる方向(X方向)における磁性板15の中央付近からX方向に所定の距離だけずれた電磁シールド15内の位置に設けられている。つまり、第2の磁気検出部25は、第1の磁気検出部23に比較して、電磁シールド15の端に近い位置に設けられている。
 また、図2に示すように、第1の磁気検出部23及第2の磁気検出部25の中心は、電流路4のX方向に平行な中心線11上に位置している。
 第1の磁気検出部23は、第1の磁気検出部23の位置の磁界を検出し、その検出信号S23を第1の増幅器43に出力する。
 第2の磁気検出部25は、第2の磁気検出部25の位置の磁界を検出し、その検出信号S25を第2の増幅器45に出力する。
 第1の磁気検出部23及び第2の磁気検出部25は、電流路4に流れる被測定電流が発生する磁界強度(S)と外来磁界強度(N)との比率であるS/N比が一致する位置に配置されている。
 これにより、検出信号S23及びS25への外来磁界の影響は同じになる。
 図4は、図1に示す電流センサ1の電磁シールド15内のX,Z方向におけるS/N比を示す図であり、横軸がX方向の座標を示し、縦軸Z方向の座標を示している。X=0mmの位置が磁性板15のX方向の中央位置に対応している。
 第1の磁気検出部23は、図1に示す(X,Z)=(0.5mm,5.0mm)付近に配設されている。
 第2の磁気検出部25は、(X,Z)=(3.2mm,2.0mm)付近に配設されている。
 図4に示すように、第1の磁気検出部23及び第2の磁気検出部25の位置では、S//N比は400~600の範囲であり、一致している。
 第2の磁気検出部25を、第1の磁気検出部23に比較して、被測定電流が流れる方向における電磁シールド15の端部に近い位置に設け、第2の磁気検出部25と電流路4との距離を第1の磁気検出部23と電流路4との距離よりも短くすると、S/Nが近くなることが、図4より分かる。
 本発明のS/Nは、例えば、一定の範囲内であれば一致とする。一定の範囲は、例えば、S/Nを「200」の幅で分割した各範囲である。当該範囲は、実験を基に規定される。
 第1の磁気検出部23は、例えば、第2の磁気検出部25と同じものを用いる。
 第1の磁気検出部23及び第2の磁気検出部25としては、例えば、磁化方向が固定された固定磁性層、非磁性層、及び磁化方向が外部磁界に対して変動するフリー磁性層の積層構造を備える磁気抵抗効果素子(GMR素子、TMR素子)や、ホール素子が用いられる。第1の磁気検出部23及び第2の磁気検出部25は、電流路4に流れる電流を、周囲の磁界の変化を介して検出する。すなわち、電流路4に流れる所望の電流値の検出が行われるようになっている。
 第1の磁気検出部23及び第2の磁気検出部25は、それぞれ検出信号(電流信号)S23及びS25をそれぞれ第1の増幅器43及び第2の増幅器45に出力する。
 図5は、図1に示す電流センサ1の第1の磁気検出部23及び第2の磁気検出部25からの出力を処理する構成の機能ブロック図である。
 [第1の増幅器43及び第2の増幅器45]
 第1の増幅器43は、第1の磁気検出部23からの検出信号S23を第1の増幅率A1で増幅した検出信号S43を処理部47に出力する。
 第2の増幅器45は、第2の磁気検出部25からの検出信号S25を第2の増幅率A2で増幅した検出信号S45を処理部47に出力する。
 [処理部47]
 処理部47は、検出信号S43とS45とが略一致している場合には正常動作状態であると判断する。
 一方、処理部47は、検出信号S43とS45とが不一致の場合には、第1の磁気検出部23及び第2の磁気検出部25のいずれか一方が故障していると判断する。
 処理部47は、測定された電流値として、第1の増幅器43及び第2の増幅器45からの検出信号S43及びS45の少なくとも一つを出力する。
 以下、電流センサ1の作用を説明する。
 電流路4に電流が流れると、その電流路4の回りに磁界が発生し、電磁シールド15内に、その磁界の強さに対応する磁束密度Bが生じる。
 そして、第1の磁気検出部23が、第1の磁気検出部23の位置の磁界を検出し、その検出信号S23を第1の増幅器43に出力する。
 また、第2の磁気検出部25が、第2の磁気検出部25の位置の磁界を検出し、その検出信号S25を第2の増幅器45に出力する。
 そして、第1の増幅器43は、第1の磁気検出部23からの検出信号S23を第1の増幅率A1で増幅した検出信号S43を処理部47に出力する。
 また、第2の増幅器45は、第2の磁気検出部25からの検出信号S25を第2の増幅率A2で増幅した検出信号S45を処理部47に出力する。
 前述したように、第1の磁気検出部23及び第2の磁気検出部25が正常状態において増幅後の検出信号S43とS45とが一致するように、第1の増幅器43の第1の増幅率A1と第2の増幅器45の第2の増幅率A2が規定されている。
 そのため、第1の磁気検出部23及び第2の磁気検出部25が正常状態において検出信号S43とS45とが一致する。
 一方、第1の磁気検出部23及び第2の磁気検出部25の少なくとも一方が故障している場合には増幅後の検出信号S43とS45とが不一致になる。
 処理部47は、検出信号S43とS45とが一致している場合には、第1の磁気検出部23及び第2の磁気検出部25が正常に動作していると判断する。
 一方、処理部47は、検出信号S43とS45とが不一致の場合には、第1の磁気検出部23及び第2の磁気検出部25の少なくとも一方が故障していると判断する。
 処理部47は、測定された電流値として、第1の増幅器43及び第2の増幅器45からの検出信号S43及びS45の少なくとも一方を出力する。
 以上説明したように、電流センサ1によれば、第1の磁気検出部23と第2の磁気検出部25とがS/Nが略一致する位置にあるため、大きな外来磁界が加わった場合でも、第1の磁気検出部23の検出信号S23と第2の磁気検出部25の検出信号S25への外来磁界の影響はほぼ同じである。そのため、増幅後の検出信号S43とS45を基に、第1の磁気検出部23及び第2の磁気検出部25の故障を適切に検出できる。被測定電流が小さく、外来磁界が大きい場合(S/N比が小さい場合)でも、外来磁界の影響を小さくし、正確な故障判断ができる。
 また、電流センサ1によれば、第1の磁気検出部23及び第2の磁気検出部25から電流路4までの距離が異なるため、第1の磁気検出部23と第2の磁気検出部25との電流路4の表面4aと平行のX方向における距離を短くでき、X方向を小型化できる。
 すなわち、電流センサ1によれば、小規模な構成で、ノイズが大きい場合でも、故障検知を適切に実現できる。
 また、磁気検出部が複数有るため、故障を検知した際には、大きな値を示す方の検出信号を電流値と見なすことで、安全側に制御するフェイルセーフが実現できる。
 また、電流センサ1によれば、第1の磁気検出部23及び第2の磁気検出部25が同一の基板33上に設置されるため、相対的な位置精度を確保しやすい。
 <第1実施形態の第1変形例>
 図6は、本発明の第1実施形態の第1変形例に係る電流センサ101を説明するための図である。
 電流センサ101は、第2の磁気検出部25のY方向の位置を除いて、第1実施形態の電流センサ1と同じである。
 図6に示すように、電流センサ101では、第1実施形態と同様に、第1の磁気検出部23は、電磁シールド15内の基板33の表面33a上に設けられ、電磁シールド15の開口部15Dと対面している。
 第1の磁気検出部23は、電流路4内を電流が流れる方向(X方向)における磁性板15の中央付近に設けられている。
 第2の磁気検出部25は、電磁シールド15内の基板33の裏面33b上に設けられ、電流路4の表面4aと対面している。
 また、第2の磁気検出部25は、電流路4内を電流が流れる方向(X方向)における磁性板15の中央付近からX方向に所定の距離だけずれた電磁シールド15内の位置に設けられている。
 電流センサ101では、第1の磁気検出部23は電流路4のX方向に平行な中心線11上に位置している。
 一方、第2の磁気検出部25は、電流路4の中心線11からY方向に所定の距離だけずれた基板33の裏面33b上に設けられている。
 また、第1の磁気検出部23及び第2の磁気検出部25は、電流路4に流れる被測定電流が発生する磁界強度(S)と外来磁界強度(N)との比率であるS/N比が一致する位置に配置されている。これにより、検出信号S23及びS25への外来磁界の影響は同じになる。
 電流センサ101によっても、第1実施形態の電流センサ1と同様の効果が得られる。
 <第1実施形態の第2変形例>
 図7は、本発明の第1実施形態の第2変形例に係る電流センサ201を説明するための図である。
 電流センサ201は、第1の磁気検出部23及び第2の磁気検出部25のY方向の位置を除いて、第1実施形態の電流センサ1と同じである。
 図7に示すように、電流センサ201では、第1実施形態と同様に、第1の磁気検出部23は、電磁シールド15内の基板33の表面33a上に設けられ、電磁シールド15の開口部15Dと対面している。
 第1の磁気検出部23は、電流路4内を電流が流れる方向(X方向)における磁性板15の中央付近に設けられている。
 第2の磁気検出部25は、電磁シールド15内の基板33の裏面33b上に設けられ、電流路4の表面4aと対面している。
 また、第2の磁気検出部25は、電流路4内を電流が流れる方向(X方向)における磁性板15の中央付近からX方向に所定の距離だけずれた電磁シールド15内の位置に設けられている。
 電流センサ201では、第1の磁気検出部23及び第2の磁気検出部25は、電流路4の中心線11からY方向に所定の距離だけずれた基板33の表面33a及び裏面33b上に設けられている。
 また、第1の磁気検出部23及び第2の磁気検出部25は、電流路4に流れる被測定電流が発生する磁界強度(S)と外来磁界強度(N)との比率であるS/N比が一致する位置に配置されている。これにより、検出信号S23及びS25への外来磁界の影響は同じになる。
 電流センサ201によっても、第1実施形態の電流センサ1と同様の効果が得られる。
 <第2実施形態>
 図8は、本発明の実施形態の電流センサ301の外観斜視図である。図9は、図8に示す基板133、第1の磁気検出部23及び第2の磁気検出部25のY方向から見た位置関係を説明するための図である。
 図8及び図9に示すように、電流センサ301では、基板133が電流路4の表面4aに対して所定の角度だけ傾いて配置されている。
 基板133の表面133a上のX方向の異なる位置には第1の磁気検出部23及び第2の磁気検出部25が設けられている。
 第1の磁気検出部23と第2の磁気検出部25とは、Z方向の異なる位置に設けられている。第1の磁気検出部23が第2の磁気検出部25に比べて電流路4に近い位置にある。
 また、第1の磁気検出部23及び第2の磁気検出部25は、電流路4に流れる被測定電流が発生する磁界強度(S)と外来磁界強度(N)との比率であるS/N比が一致する位置に配置されている。これにより、検出信号S23及びS25への外来磁界の影響は同じになる。
 電流センサ301によっても、第1実施形態と同様の効果を得ることができる。
 <第3実施形態>
 図10は、本発明の第3実施形態に係る電流センサ401の図1に示すY方向から見た基板33、第1の磁気検出部23及び第2の磁気検出部25の配置を説明するための図である。図11は、本発明の第4実施形態に係る電流センサ401の図1に示すZ方向から見た基板33、第1の磁気検出部23及び第2の磁気検出部25の配置を説明するための図である。
 電流センサ401は、第1の磁気検出部23のX方向の配置のみが第1実施形態の電流センサ1と異なる。
 図10に示すように、電流センサ401では、第1の磁気検出部23は、電磁シールド15内の基板33の表面33a上に設けられている。
 また、第2の磁気検出部25は、電磁シールド15内の基板33の裏面33b上に設けられている。
 また、第1の磁気検出部23及び第2の磁気検出部25は、電流路4内を電流が流れる方向(X方向)における電磁シールド15の中央付近からX方向に所定の距離だけずれた電磁シールド15内の同位置に設けられている。すなわち、第1の磁気検出部23と第2の磁気検出部25は、基板33を挟んで対向して位置している。尚、図11では、わかりやすく図示するために、第1の磁気検出部23と、第2の磁気検出部25との位置を僅かにずらして描いている。実際には、図1のZ方向から見た場合、図10に描かれているとおり、重なった位置である。
 図4から明らかなとおり、電磁シールド15の中央から外れた、端に近い位置では、電流路4に流れる被測定電流が発生する磁界強度(S)と外来磁界強度(N)との比率であるS/N比が一致する領域が、垂直に近い角度となる。この為、第1の磁気検出部23及び第2の磁気検出部25のS/N比が近くなる。これにより、検出信号S23及びS25への外来磁界の影響が近くなる。
 電流センサ401によっても、第1実施形態の電流センサ1と同様の効果が得られる。
 本発明は上述した実施形態には限定されない。
 すなわち、当業者は、本発明の技術的範囲またはその均等の範囲内において、上述した実施形態の構成要素に関し、様々な変更、コンビネーション、サブコンビネーション、並びに代替を行ってもよい。
 例えば、上述した実施形態では、処理部47は、検出信号S43とS45とが略一致している場合には正常動作状態であると判断し、不一致の場合には、第1の磁気検出部23及び第2の磁気検出部25のいずれか一方が故障していると判断した。
 本発明では、例えば、検出信号S43とS45とが比例している場合に正常動作状態であると判断し、比例していない場合には、第1の磁気検出部23及び第2の磁気検出部25のいずれか一方が故障していると判断してもよい。つまり、検出信号S43が検出信号S45の一定の倍数になっていれば、正常と判断する。一方、一定の倍数になっていなければいずれか一方が故障していると判断しても良い。
 また、上述した実施形態では、磁性板15内のX方向の異なる2か所に第1の磁気検出部23及び第2の磁気検出部25をそれぞれ配置した場合を例示したが、磁性板15内のX方向の異なる3か所以上にそれぞれに磁気検出部を配置してもよい。
 また、本実施形態で示した電磁シールド15の形状は一例であり、請求項に記載の範囲において改変可能である。
 また、電流路4の断面形状は、特に限定されないが、電磁シールド15の開口部15D側が扁平であることが望ましい。
 本発明は、車載用の電流センサ等に適用可能である。

Claims (8)

  1.  被測定電流が流れる方向に沿って延びる電流路と、
     前記電流路の周囲を囲み、前記電流路の表面と対向する領域に開口部を有する電磁シールドと、
     前記電流路と対面した第1の磁気検出部及び第2の磁気検出部と、
     を有し、
     前記第2の磁気検出部は、前記第1の磁気検出部に比較して、前記被測定電流が流れる方向における前記電磁シールドの端部に近い位置に設けられ、
     前記第2の磁気検出部と前記電流路との距離は、前記第1の磁気検出部と前記電流路との距離よりも短いことを特徴とする
     電流センサ。
  2.  前記電磁シールド内で前記電流路及び前記開口部と対面し、前記被測定電流が流れる方向に沿った基板を有し、
    前記第1の磁気検出部は、前記基板の前記電流路と対向しない面に設けられ、
    前記第2の磁気検出部は、前記基板の前記電流路と対向する面に設けられている
     請求項1記載の電流センサ。
  3.  前記電磁シールド内で前記電流路及び前記開口部と対面し、前記被測定電流が流れる方向に沿って位置し、前記電流路に対して前記開口部の向きに傾斜した基板と、
     を有し、
     前記第1の磁気検出部及び前記第2の磁気検出部は、前記基板の一方の面に設けられていることを特徴とする請求項1記載の電流センサ。
  4.  前記電磁シールドは、U字型をしており、
     前記電磁シールドの底面に沿って前記電流路が配置され、
     前記第1の磁気検出部及び前記第2の磁気検出部は、前記電流路よりも前記電磁シールドの開口に近い側に配置され、
     前記第1の磁気検出部は、前記被測定電流が流れる方向における前記電磁シールドの中央付近に設けられており、
     前記第2の磁気検出部は、前記被測定電流が流れる方向において前記電磁シールドの中央からずれた位置に設けられている
     請求項1乃至3の何れかに記載の電流センサ。
  5.  前記第1の磁気検出部及び前記第2の磁気検出部は、前記被測定電流が発生する磁界強度と外来磁界強度との比率が一致する位置に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1乃至4何れかに記載の電流センサ。
  6.  被測定電流が流れる方向に沿って延びる電流路と、
     前記電流路の周囲を囲み、前記表面と対向する領域に開口部を有する電磁シールドと、
     前記電磁シールド内で前記電流路及び前記開口部と対面し、前記被測定電流が流れる方向に沿った基板と、
     前記基板の一方の面に設けられた第1の磁気検出部と、
     前記基板の他方の面の前記第1の磁気検出部と対向する位置に設けられた第2の磁気検出部と、 
     を有し、
     前記第1の磁気検出部及び前記第2の磁気検出部は、前記被測定電流が流れる方向において前記電磁シールドの中央からずれた位置に設けられている
     電流センサ。
  7.  前記第1の磁気検出部の出力を増幅する第1の増幅器と、
     前記第2の磁気検出部の出力を増幅する第2の増幅器と、
     前記第1の増幅器で増幅された出力と前記第2の増幅器で増幅された出力とが、前記第1の磁気検出部及び前記第2の磁気検出部の双方が正常動作をしている場合に一致するように、前記第1の増幅器及び前記第2の増幅器の増幅率が規定され、
     前記第1の増幅器で増幅された出力と前記第2の増幅手段で増幅された出力とが一致しているか否かを判断する処理部
     をさらに有する請求項1乃至6の何れかに記載の電流センサ。
  8.  前記電流路は、前記被測定電流が流れる方向に沿って延びる平らな表面を持ち、横断面が長方形であり、厚みより長い幅を有している
     請求項1~7のいずれかに記載の電流センサ。
