Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé pour lisser les chants (14) de pièces (12) qui présentent au moins une couche poreuse, ce procédé consistant à : transporter les pièces (12) sur un convoyeur (10) dans une direction parallèle au chant (14) à lisser, faire tourner une bande transporteuse (20) sans fin à une vitesse synchrone avec la vitesse de transport des pièces (12) par l'intermédiaire de poulies de renvoi (18) de telle manière qu'une partie de pression (24) de la bande transporteuse (20) soit plaquée sur une longueur déterminée contre une partie du chant à lisser d'au moins une pièce, appliquer une pâte de remplissage (26) durcissable sur la bande transporteuse (20) en amont de la partie de pression (24), transférer la pâte de remplissage (26) se trouvant sur la partie de pression (24) de telle manière sur le chant (14) qu'elle forme sur ce dernier une couche continue (30) d'une épaisseur prédéterminée, et laisser durcir la pâte de remplissage (26) après la séparation de la bande transporteuse (20) jusqu'à ce que la couche continue (30) forme une surface solide et lisse.
