Abstract
The invention relates to a door stop embedded in the door and actuated when the door handle is released. The door stop keeps the door motionless even when the door is ajar. The aim is to prevent the slamming of the door, which can constitute a hazard for the occupants, and especially for children. Another advantage of blocking the door is to avoid damage to the door or the surrounding installations and equipment when the door is roughly opened and slammed.

Revendications claims
1- Un arrête-porte caractérisé par un pignon(2) en contact avec une crémaillère installée sur une tige verticale (1) amovible. Le pignon dispose d'une ouverture au centre qui correspond à la forme de la tige de la poignée (6). L'extrémité inférieure de la tige est constituée d'une butée en caoutchouc (3). Un porte-butée (5) assure le mouvement vertical de la tige et son contact avec le pignon.
