- the cassette pressing mechanism includes a pressing plate rotatably attached to the cover, two coil-like elastic bodies interposed between the pressing plate and the cover, and a protruding plate that presses the tape cassette. And two pressing members.
- the tape cassette is mounted on the cassette mounting portion so that the pin hole engages with the positioning pin of the cassette mounting portion. When the cover is closed in this state, the three pressing members of the cassette pressing mechanism press the tape cassette by the elastic force of the elastic body. As a result, the tape cassette is positioned at the cassette mounting portion and used for printing by the print head.
- the positioning pin of the cassette mounting portion and the pin hole of the tape cassette are in an engaged state with allowance for dimensional tolerances in consideration of manufacturing errors of the tape cassette (cassette case). For this reason, when the pressing force in the mounting direction with respect to the tape cassette is weakened, the tape cassette is likely to be displaced or lifted.
- the tape cassette is pressed (positioned) by a coiled elastic body (coil spring) provided on the cover.
- the elastic body has a weak pressing force (spring force) over time. There was a problem. That is, there is a problem that the pressing force decreases due to so-called “sagging”.
- a tape cartridge according to the present invention is a tape cartridge that is mounted on a tape printer and is used to print on a printing tape while feeding out the printing tape, and includes a printing tape, a cartridge case that accommodates the printing tape, and a cartridge case And a reaction force applying section that is displaced by the pressing force of the pressing portion of the tape printer and applies a reaction force against the pressing force to the pressing portion according to the displacement.
- reaction force is preferably increased in proportion to the amount of displacement of the reaction force application portion.
- the reaction force applying portion provided in the cartridge case is displaced by the pressing force of the pressing portion of the tape printing apparatus and applies a reaction force to the pressing portion according to the amount of displacement. That is, the cartridge case is elastically pressed by the pressing portion through the reaction force applying portion. Thus, the cartridge case is positioned at a predetermined position on the tape printer side.
- the tape cartridge itself is a consumable and is replaced when the print tape is consumed. Therefore, since the reaction force application unit is replaced before the predetermined reaction force is no longer exerted, it is possible to suppress the occurrence of the “sagging” problem as in the prior art.
- the reaction force imparting portion is provided in the cartridge case, it is possible to prevent the tape cartridge itself from being hindered. Therefore, regardless of the structure on the apparatus side and the thickness of the cartridge case, pressing for positioning can be performed appropriately and stably.

- the elastic portion has an elastic piece having an L-shaped cross section extending inward from the case wall of the cartridge case, and a receiving opening formed on the case wall for receiving the presser portion while the presser portion abuts. It is preferable.
- the elastic piece is formed in the “L” cross section, the elastic deformation stroke can be made larger than that of the flat elastic piece, and the reaction force (the pressing force received) can be increased. It can be stabilized. Further, the receiving opening can function as an abutment guide for the pressing portion.
- the receiving opening has two sides corresponding to both side ends of the elastic piece, and the two sides are positioned by the pressing portion in the intersecting direction.
- the presser part itself can function as a positioning member for the cartridge case.
- the tape cartridge is pressed by the tape printer in a positioning state. Therefore, the mounted tape cartridge can be accurately positioned on the tape printer.
- the elastic piece is formed at a corner portion on the surface of the cartridge case on the pressing portion side.
- the elastic piece can be disposed in the highly rigid portion of the cartridge case. Therefore, it can suppress that the pressing force of the pressing part which presses a tape cartridge to a tape printer is absorbed by deformation
- the tape printing apparatus includes a cartridge mounting portion on which the tape cartridge is mounted, an opening / closing lid that opens and closes the cartridge mounting portion around the hinge portion, the pressing portion is provided on the opening / closing lid, and the elastic piece includes: It is preferable to extend in the direction intersecting with the extending direction of the hinge part, with the hinge part side as the base end.

It is preferable that the reaction force applying portion in each cartridge case is disposed so that the distance between the presser portion and the presser end of the presser portion becomes substantially equal.
- the pressing force applied to the tape cartridge can be made constant by providing the reaction force applying portion whose part is changed in the cartridge cases (tape cartridges) having different thicknesses. Therefore, the positioning state can be stabilized regardless of the thickness of the tape cartridge.
- the cartridge case includes two cases having a divided structure, and the reaction force applying portion is provided in one of the two cases.
- reaction force applying portion is disposed inside the outline of the cartridge case when viewed from the mounting direction.
- the presence or absence of the reaction force imparting portion in the cartridge case does not affect whether or not the cartridge can be attached to a specific tape printer. Therefore, a tape cartridge having a reaction force applying portion and a tape cartridge having no reaction force applying portion can be used for a specific tape printing apparatus, and the convenience for the user is not impaired.

Abstract
