To do. Further, fading determination unit 220 outputs data indicating the determination result to determination result display unit 230. Details will be described later.

- the ratio of the error time Te to the failure occurrence time Tf that is, the sum of the error time Te and the non-operation time Tu
- Tu the ratio of the downtime Tu to the failure occurrence time Tf
- the fading determination unit 220 determines that coherent fading has occurred.
- fading determination section 220 determines that attenuating fading has occurred.
- fading determination section 220 determines that duct-type fading has occurred.
- FIGS. 6 and 7 are flowcharts showing processing performed by the fading determination unit 220.
- the fading determination unit 220 performs the processing shown in the flowcharts of FIGS. 6 and 7 for each of the wireless communication devices 120-1 to 120-n.
- the fading determination unit 220 extracts, from the history data, a period file in which the sum of the error time Te and the non-operation time Tu is larger than a predetermined threshold time Tth, and determines the type of fading as a determination target. To do. That is, the fading discriminating unit 220 sets a period file with Te + Tu> Tth as a processing target (S102).
- Tth is a time estimated to cause a failure factor such as fading, and may be, for example, 20 seconds. This Tth can be arbitrarily set by the user.
- the fading determination unit 220 determines whether or not RSLmin is the lower limit value and RSLmax is the lower limit value for the target period file (S104).
- the “lower limit value” is a value set for each wireless communication device 120, and the RSL does not fall below this lower limit value.
- RSLmin is the lower limit and RSLmax is the lower limit (YES in S104), that is, when both RSLmin and RSLmax are lower limits, a radio signal is transmitted from radio communication apparatus 120 on the transmission side. Means not. Therefore, in this case, the fading determination unit 220 determines that the output of the wireless communication device 120 on the transmission side is blocked as a failure factor.
- the fading determination unit 220 extracts a period file that becomes NO in the process of S104 continuously after the period file to be processed (S106). ). For example, if the period file “2014/01/01 — 7:00” in FIG. 3 is a processing target, the fading determination unit 220 is a subsequent continuous period file, and Te + Tu> Tth in each period file. In addition, a period file in which at least one of RSLmin and RSLmax is not the lower limit value is extracted.
- a fading determination unit 220 extracts these continuous period files. If Te + Tu> Tth is not satisfied for the period file “2014/01 / 01_8: 15”, the fading determination unit 220 ends the extraction process.
- the fading determination unit 220 determines whether or not the number of extracted period files is less than N (N is an integer of 2 or more) (S108). If the number of period files is N or more (NO in S108), the fading determination unit 220 determines that the failure is a device failure (failure of the wireless communication device 120 that is the determination target) as a failure factor.
- N is a value that can be estimated to be a device failure when the period file indicates the occurrence of a failure factor for N consecutive times. In other words, when the file indicates the occurrence of a failure factor for a period of N ⁇ 15 (minutes) continuously, this natural phenomenon that occurs continuously for N ⁇ 15 (minutes) is extremely rare. Presumed.
- N 24 may be set. This N can be arbitrarily set by the user.
- the “equipment failure” includes a case where the direction of the antenna of the wireless communication apparatus 120 is shifted due to a gust of wind or the like.
- the fading discriminating unit 220 adds up the error times Te of the period files extracted in S108, and determines whether the period files extracted in the process of S108 are incorrect.
- the operating times Tu are summed up (S110). For example, when a period file from “2014/01/01 — 7:00” to “2014/01/01 — 8:00” is extracted, the fading determination unit 220 performs “2014/01/01 — 7:00” to “2014/01. / 01 — 8:00 ”, the error times Te are totaled. Similarly, the fading discriminating unit 220 adds up the non-operation times Tu of “2014/01 / 01_7: 00” to “2014/01 / 01_8: 00”.
- the total value of the error time Te is ⁇ Te
- the total value of the non-operation time Tu is ⁇ Tu.
- the fading determination unit 220 determines whether the ratio of the non-operation time Tu to the sum of the error time Te and the non-operation time Tu is greater than a predetermined value C1 (S112). Specifically, fading determination unit 220 determines whether the ratio of the total value ( ⁇ Tu) of downtime Tu to the total value ( ⁇ Te + ⁇ Tu) of ⁇ Te and ⁇ Tu is greater than C1. When the ratio of the non-operation time Tu to the sum of the error time Te and the non-operation time Tu is equal to or less than C1, that is, when ⁇ Tu / ( ⁇ Te + ⁇ Tu) ⁇ C1 (NO in S112), the fading determination unit 220 5 is used to determine that coherent fading has occurred. Note that “coherent fading” includes the possibility of radio wave degradation due to frequency interference or torsion of a steel tower.
- the fading determination unit 220 A total of M period files before and after the target period file (M is an integer of 2 or more) are extracted (S114).
- the fading determination unit 220 sets the period file up to 3 hours before this period file and the period file after 3 hours from this period file. A total of 24 period files are extracted. Note that M can be arbitrarily set by the user.
- the fading discriminating unit 220 calculates a correlation coefficient indicating the correlation between RSLmin and RSLmax for the M period files (S116). Specifically, the fading determination unit 220 correlates the RSLmin (that is, M RSLmin values) of each of the M period files and the RSLmax (that is, M RSLmax values) of each of the M period files. Is calculated.
- fading discriminating unit 220 calculates the correlation coefficient between RSLmin # 1 to RSLmin # 24 and RSLmax # 1 to RSLmax # 24.
- the fading discriminating unit 220 determines whether or not the calculated correlation coefficient is larger than C2 (S120). When the correlation coefficient is larger than C2 (YES in S120), fading determination unit 220 determines that attenuating fading has occurred as described above with reference to FIG. On the other hand, when the correlation coefficient is C2 or less (NO in S120), fading determination unit 220 determines that duct-type fading has occurred as described above with reference to FIG. “Attenuating fading” includes the possibility of attenuation of radio waves due to rain.
- the fading determination unit 220 performs the above processing for each period file included in the history data acquired by the history data acquisition unit 210.
- the fading discriminating unit 220 discriminates the type of fading, the user can apply a coping method suitable for each fading. Thereby, it becomes possible to increase the effect of coping.
- the following countermeasures are mentioned, for example. When the user performs the following countermeasures for each fading, it is possible to more reliably suppress a failure due to fading.
- Coherent fading • Apply antenna tilt-up. ⁇ Introduce space diversity (SD). Adjust the distance between the main antenna and the sub (SD) antenna. ⁇ Change the frequency band.
- Attenuating fading • Increase the antenna position. -Increase the antenna diameter. ⁇ Install a relay station to shorten the propagation path.
- Duct type fading • Increase the antenna position. • Increase antenna diameter and apply antenna tilt-up. ⁇ Install a relay station at a high place to shorten the propagation path and make a difference in the height of the propagation path. ⁇ Change the route between wireless communication devices.
- the discrimination result display unit 230 displays the discrimination result obtained by the fading discrimination unit 220 on a display device provided in the monitoring device 200 or another device. Specifically, the discrimination result display unit 230 displays, for example, screens such as those illustrated in FIGS. 8 to 10 on the display device.
- the display device is, for example, a monitor. Further, the display device may be a GUI (Graphical User Interface). That is, the display device may be integrated with an input device such as a mouse, or may be a touch panel or a touch screen. Note that the screens illustrated in FIGS. 8 to 10 are independent from each other and do not necessarily correspond to each other.
- FIG. 8 is a diagram illustrating a failure factor list displayed by the discrimination result display unit 230.
- the failure factor list displays, for each device, what failure factor has occurred for how long in the display period set by the user.
- the display period is a period from January 1, 2014 to January 31, 2014.
- the devices A to E are each one of the wireless communication devices 120-1 to 120-n.
- the determination result display unit 230 displays the failure factor list, so that the user can immediately confirm which failure factor has occurred in which wireless communication device 120.
- FIG. 9 is a diagram illustrating an apparatus-specific list displayed by the discrimination result display unit 230.
- the device-specific list shows failure factors that have occurred in time series for the device selected by the user.
- the device-specific list may be displayed, for example, by touching or clicking the position of “device A” in FIG.
- the discrimination result display unit 230 displays the device-specific list, so that the user immediately confirms which fading has occurred at what time and in the selected wireless communication device 120. It becomes possible.
- FIG. 10 is a diagram illustrating a time axis graph for each device displayed on the discrimination result display unit 230.
- the time axis graph for each device is obtained by displaying the list for each device in FIG. 9 using a graph.
- the horizontal axis represents the date
- the vertical axis represents the time of the day
- the bars 302 to 316 indicate which failure factor occurred in which time zone of a certain day.
- the bars 302 to 316 are color-coded, for example, for each corresponding failure factor.
- the vertical lengths of the bars 302 to 316 may correspond to the period in which the corresponding failure factor has occurred.
- the discrimination result display unit 230 displays the time axis graph for each device, so that the user can immediately recognize in which time zone of each day the cause of failure occurred. It becomes.
- time zone of the day fading caused by a natural phenomenon For example, coherent fading tends to occur at dawn and evening due to atmospheric conditions (temperature, humidity, etc.). Therefore, as shown in FIG. 10, when it is shown that coherent fading occurs at dawn and evening, the user can recognize that this fading is caused by a natural phenomenon. .
- it is shown that fading occurs in the daytime it is expected that the fading has occurred due to factors other than natural phenomena. Therefore, the user can take a countermeasure against factors other than natural phenomena.
- the discrimination result display unit 230 may display a handling method corresponding to each of the bars 302 to 316 in a pop-up by, for example, overlaying a mouse cursor (pointer) on each of the bars 302 to 316. For example, by hovering the mouse cursor over the bar 302, a coping method for coherent fading as described above is displayed. By doing in this way, it becomes possible for a user to recognize immediately the coping method with respect to each failure factor.
- the discrimination result display unit 230 may display the history data (performance parameters) corresponding to each of the bars 302 to 316 in a graph by clicking each of the bars 302 to 316, for example. For example, when the bar 302 is clicked, a graph (line graph or the like) showing changes in the error time Te, the non-operation time Tu, the RSLmin, and the RSLmax in the period corresponding to the bar 302 is displayed. By doing so, the user can easily visually check the actual history data in the period when the failure factor has occurred.
- the process of S110 may be omitted.
- the fading determination unit 220 performs the determination process using the total value ⁇ Te of the error time Te and the total value ⁇ Tu of the non-operation time Tu, but the total value may not be used. That is, the fading determination unit 220 determines whether the ratio of the non-operation time Tu to the sum of the error time Te and the non-operation time Tu in the period file to be processed is greater than a predetermined value C1. You may do it. By doing so, the processing can be simplified. However, by using the total value, it becomes possible to more accurately determine the type of fading.
- the fading determination unit 220 determines that the ratio of the non-operation time Tu to the sum of the error time Te and the non-operation time Tu is equal to or less than a predetermined value C1. Although it is determined that coherent fading has occurred, the present invention is not limited to such a process. The fading determination unit 220 may determine that coherent fading has occurred when the ratio of the “error time Te” to the sum of the error time Te and the non-operation time Tu is equal to or greater than a predetermined value.
- the fading determination unit 220 uses the correlation coefficient calculated in the process of S116, that is, the correlation coefficient calculated for the target period file. Is used to determine the type of fading, but is not limited to such processing.
- the fading determination unit 220 is not limited to the correlation coefficient calculated for the target period file, but also for a plurality of period files after the target period file (or before or after the target period file). M files may be extracted in the process of S114, a correlation coefficient may be calculated in the process of S116, and an average of these correlation coefficients may be calculated. Then, the fading determination unit 220 may use the calculated average value of the correlation coefficients in the process of S120.
- the fading determination unit 220 determines M periods before and after the period file “2014/01 / 01_7: 15”.
- M period files before and after the period file “2014/01 / 01_7: 30” and M before and after the period file “2014/01 / 01_7: 45” The correlation coefficient may be calculated for the period file, and the average of these three correlation coefficients may be calculated. By doing so, it becomes possible to more accurately determine the type of fading. In this way, the average of the correlation coefficient may be calculated when the target period files in the process of S102 are continuous, or when the period files determined as YES in the process of S112 are continuous. Also good.
- the period related to the period file is 15 minutes (specified by ITU-T), but is not limited to 15 minutes.
- the period related to the period file may be shorter or longer than 15 minutes. In general, since fading occurs in a short time, it is possible to more accurately specify when fading has occurred by shortening the period related to the period file.
- the number M of period files before and after the period file to be extracted in S114 is not limited to 24.

Abstract
