Definitions
- the present invention relates to a communication terminal device used in an RFID system or a short-range wireless communication system.
- Patent Document 1 discloses an antenna provided in such a communication terminal device.
- an inductive current caused by a magnetic field generated in a power supply coil flows along the edge of a planar conductor adjacent to the power supply coil (so that the magnetic field is not canceled out). ), An opening and a slit are provided.
- back metal body such as a metal chassis or a shield plate
- the back metal member may act so as to cancel the current flowing in the feeding coil and the induced current flowing in the planar conductor.
- the radiation characteristics of the antenna due to the feeding coil and the planar conductor may deteriorate.
- the power supply coil and the planar conductor are magnetically shielded from the back metal body. Therefore, it is possible to suppress a phenomenon in which the current flowing in the power feeding coil and the current flowing in the planar conductor are canceled by the current induced in the back metal body.
- the magnetic sheet is expensive, and the increase in thickness and size leads to an increase in cost. Moreover, the increase in the thickness and the size of the mobile phone hinder the miniaturization and high density of the portable communication terminal.
- an object of the present invention is to provide a communication terminal device that can secure an antenna characteristic by suppressing an induced current generated in a back metal body without enlarging a magnetic sheet for magnetic shielding. .
- the communication terminal device of the present invention is A feeding coil connected to the feeding circuit; A planar radiating conductor that is disposed in the vicinity of the feeding coil and has a notch that overlaps the coil opening of the feeding coil in plan view, and A back metal body disposed on the opposite side of the planar radiation conductor with respect to the feeding coil and disposed in the vicinity of the planar radiation conductor, and In a position corresponding to the power supply coil, the back metal body has a shape that does not overlap with at least a part of the power supply coil in plan view, and a shape that is different from the shape of the notch in the planar radiation conductor. A portion is formed.
- the present invention it is possible to secure the antenna characteristics by suppressing the induced current generated in the rear metal body without providing a thick and large magnetic shielding magnetic sheet. Therefore, it is possible to secure a communication distance while achieving miniaturization and high density of the communication terminal device.

That is, a current flowing through the feeding coil 81 induces a current along the edge of the conductor opening CA and the slit portion SL of the planar radiation conductor 7, and this current flows along the outer edge of the planar radiation conductor 7. Since the magnetic shielding action of the magnetic material sheet 6 is not perfect, a current as indicated by an arrow is induced in the vicinity of the extracted portion 5C of the back metal body 5 by the current flowing through the power supply coil 81. Further, a current flowing through the planar radiation conductor 7 induces a current as indicated by an arrow on the outer peripheral edge of the back metal body 5.

- planar radiation conductor 7 acts as a radiation element.
- the extracted portion 5C of the back metal body 5 overlaps at least a part of the inner edge of the coil opening CW of the power feeding coil 81 in a plan view. .
