Definitions

  • This disclosure relates to an input device to which an operating force is input.
  • Patent Document 1 discloses an input device including an operation knob to which an operation force is input and a main body that supports the operation knob so that the operation knob can be moved by the input of the operation force.
  • the input device further includes two voice coil motors.
  • Each of the two voice coil motors has a magnet that forms a magnetic pole and a voice coil that passes a magnetic flux generated by the magnet, and functions as an actuator.
  • each electromagnetic force generated by applying a current to each voice coil acts on the operation knob as an operation reaction force in directions orthogonal to each other. According to such a configuration, by controlling the current applied to each voice coil, the input device can make the user feel an operation reaction force of arbitrary strength through the operation knob.
  • Patent Document 1 yokes forming a magnetic circuit are individually provided in each voice coil motor. Therefore, the magnetic flux generated by the magnet of one voice coil motor only passes through the voice coil in the motor, and does not pass through the voice coil provided in the other voice coil motor. In such a configuration, in order to improve the density of the magnetic flux passing through each voice coil, it is necessary to strengthen the individual magnets provided in each voice coil motor, and an increase in the amount of material used to form the magnets is inevitable. It was.
  • An object of the present disclosure is to provide an input device that can increase an operation reaction force that can be applied to an input unit such as an operation knob while suppressing the amount of a material for forming a magnetic pole forming unit such as a magnet.
  • An input device includes an input unit, a support unit, a first actuator, a second actuator, and a magnetic path forming body.
  • the input unit receives an operation force in a direction along the operation plane.
  • the support portion supports the input portion so as to be movable along the operation plane by inputting the operation force.
  • the first actuator has a first magnetic pole forming portion that forms a magnetic pole, and a first coil through which a magnetic flux generated by the first magnetic pole forming portion passes, and generates an electromagnetic force generated by applying a current to the first coil. , And acting on the input unit as an operation reaction force in the first direction along the operation plane.
  • the second actuator has a second magnetic pole forming portion that forms a magnetic pole, and a second coil through which a magnetic flux generated by the second magnetic pole forming portion passes, and generates an electromagnetic force generated by applying a current to the second coil. , And acting on the input unit as an operation reaction force in a second direction along the operation plane and intersecting the first direction.
  • the magnetic path forming body forms a magnetic circuit that guides the magnetic flux generated by the first magnetic pole forming portion so as to pass through the second coil and guides the magnetic flux generated by the second magnetic pole forming portion so as to pass through the first coil. To do.
  • the magnetic flux generated by the first magnetic pole forming portion in the first actuator not only passes through the first coil of the first actuator but also the magnetic circuit formed by the magnetic path forming body. Is passed through the second coil of the second actuator. Similarly, the magnetic flux generated by the second magnetic pole forming portion in the second actuator not only passes through the second coil of the second actuator but is also guided by the magnetic circuit, thereby having the first actuator. Pass through the first coil.
  • the configuration in which the magnetic flux generated by the magnetic pole forming part of one actuator is guided to the coil of the other actuator through the magnetic circuit can improve both the magnetic flux densities passing through the coils of the two actuators. Therefore, each electromagnetic force that can be generated by each actuator increases together. Therefore, it is possible to increase the operation reaction force that can be applied to the input portion while suppressing the amount of the forming material for each magnetic pole forming portion.
