In the first embodiment, for example, under the control of the system controller 230, a first light emission mode (hereinafter referred to as a light emission mode LM1 as appropriate) and a second light emission mode (hereinafter referred to as a light emission mode LM2 as appropriate). Can be switched.
- a first light emission mode hereinafter referred to as a light emission mode LM1 as appropriate
- a second light emission mode hereinafter referred to as a light emission mode LM2 as appropriate
- State ST0 Start state. The state transition starts from the state ST0 first.
- State ST1 State waiting for beat detection. That is, the system controller 230 is waiting for timing signals. In this state, the LED 400 is not emitting light or displaying a single color. That is, there is no movement of light. Animation is not displayed.
- State ST2 A state in which a predefined short pattern is reproduced in synchronization with the input of the timing signal. In this state, a short pattern is presented.
- State ST3 State waiting for beat detection. Unlike the state ST1, the state ST3 is a state where there is a movement of light. For example, music beats and asynchronous animations are presented.
- the beat interval is long or short depending on the type of music, and beats may not be detected for a relatively long period. Furthermore, no beat is detected between songs whose titles are changed. Furthermore, depending on the type of music, the gain of the low frequency component may be low and the beat may not be detected for a relatively long period. In such a case, if the LED 400 is not caused to emit light, there is a problem that the period during which no decorative display is provided to the user becomes long, and the excitement or uplifting feeling caused by the display is reduced or eliminated. This problem is particularly serious when the sound reproducing device is used in a dark room.
- the control signal is generated by the LED controller 240.
- the first light emission control signal is a signal in which a plurality of signals that define a light emission pattern (referred to as a short pattern) of the LED 400 for a predetermined period, for example, 300 [msec], starting from the input of the timing signal, are continued.
- the short pattern is a predefined light emission pattern.
- the second light emission control signal is a signal that defines a light emission pattern (referred to as an animation as appropriate) of the LED 400 in synchronization with, for example, a timing signal formed from a system clock signal.
- a plurality of types of short patterns and one animation are stored in the memory in advance. The types of short patterns and the order of occurrence of a plurality of short patterns are set so that attractive display is performed when they change in synchronization with the beat of the music to be played.
- a first light emission control signal is created and stored so that a display that matches the reproduction of music of a genre such as rock, Latin, reggae, and fusion occurs.
- the user may be able to generate the first and / or second light emission control signal according to his / her preference.
- state ST1 when a beat is detected within a predetermined period (for example, 5 [sec]) after the timer is started, control is shifted to state ST2, and presentation of a short pattern using all LEDs is started. When the presentation of one short pattern is completed, the timer starts and returns to the state ST1. In the state ST2, when a new beat is detected during presentation of a certain short pattern, the beat is ignored.
- a predetermined period for example, 5 [sec]
- State ST3 is a state waiting for beat detection, and music beats and asynchronous animation are presented.
- An example of this animation is a pattern in which all LEDs turn on and off. If a beat is detected in this state ST3, control may transition to state ST2.
- FIG. 7A represents the detected beat.
- a timing signal is a pulse signal indicating a timing reference.
- FIG. 7B represents a short pattern presented.
- Short pattern 1 is presented in synchronization with the beat
- short pattern 2 is presented in synchronization with the next beat.
- the display periods of the short pattern 1, the short pattern 2,... are set to substantially the same value, for example, 300 [msec].
- the period from the end of each short pattern period to the next beat is a period of non-light emission or monochromatic light emission, as indicated by hatching.
- the timer starts after the short pattern starts. For example, if a beat is not detected for 5 [sec] or longer, a time-out occurs and the control shifts to the state ST3.
- the short pattern period described above is set based on the general characteristics of the music to be played. That is, beats having a period shorter than 300 [msec] are relatively few.
- At least one of state ST1 and state ST3 corresponds to the first control state.
- State ST2 corresponds to the second control state. That is, the light emission mode LM1 is a mode in which at least the first control state and the second control state can be switched.
- the light emission mode LM2 will be described.
- a state ST4 is defined, and a predetermined light emission pattern is presented in the state ST4. That is, when the LED controller 240 is instructed to emit light based on the light emission mode LM2 from the system controller 230, the LED controller 240 generates a light emission control signal that causes the LED 400 to emit light in a predetermined light emission pattern. Then, the LED controller 240 supplies the generated light emission control signal to the LED 400.
- the light emission pattern presented in state ST4 is a light emission pattern that is made asynchronously (irrelevant) with the input of the timing signal, for example, a light emission pattern in which the LED 400 blinks at high speed.
- the LED 400 blinks at a cycle of about 100 [msec] (about 10 Hz in terms of frequency).
- the LED 400 blinks at high speed until the light emission mode is switched from the light emission mode LM2 to the light emission mode LM1.
- the LED 400 may emit light while changing the blinking speed.
- the switchable period set by the system controller 230 sets a first switchable period in which the light emission mode LM1 can be switched to the light emission mode LM2, and a second switchable period in which the light emission mode LM2 can be switched to the light emission mode LM1.
- the first switchable period is set periodically.
- FIG. 8A shows an example of a set first switchable period
- FIG. 8B shows a time axis.
- the first switchable period is set, for example, for 10 seconds every 30 seconds.
- a first switchable period is set at a time Tb 30 seconds after the time Ta when the timer starts counting.
- the first switchable period is set to 10 seconds (between Tb and Tc), and ends at time Tc after 10 seconds.
- the first switchable period is set again at time Td 30 seconds after time Tc.
- the first switchable period is set to 10 seconds (between Td and Te), and ends at time Te after 10 seconds. Thereafter, similarly, the first switchable period is periodically set.
- the second switchable period is set after a predetermined time has elapsed since the light emission mode is switched from the light emission mode LM1 to the light emission mode LM2.

Further, the control performed by the system controller 230 to set the second switchable period is appropriately referred to as when the gate G2 is opened.
- FIG. 10A shows the light emission mode, in which “LM1” indicates the light emission mode LM1, and “LM2” indicates the light emission mode LM2.
- FIG. 10B shows a state where the gate G1 is open or closed.
- FIG. 10C shows a state in the light emission mode LM1.
- P in the figure indicates that the state in the light emission mode LM1 is the state ST2
- W in the figure indicates that the state in the light emission mode LM1 is the state ST1 or the state ST3.

- FIG. 10E shows a state where the gate G2 is open or closed.
- FIG. 10F shows a time axis.
- the light emission mode is switched as follows.
- the light emission mode is switched to the light emission mode LM2 and the LED 400 starts blinking at high speed while the short pattern is presented in the state ST2, the user may feel a change in the light emission mode like noise. Therefore, in the present embodiment, when the state in the light emission mode LM1 is the state ST2, the light emission mode is not switched.
- the system controller 230 changes the light emission mode from the light emission mode LM2 to the LED controller 240.
- An instruction to switch to the light emission mode LM1 is given.
- the LED controller 240 causes the LED 400 to emit light with a light emission pattern based on the control state of the light emission mode LM1. Since there is a timing signal input, that is, since a beat is detected, the LED controller 240 causes the LED 400 to emit light based on the state ST2 of the light emission mode LM1, for example.
- the light emission mode is set to the light emission mode LM1, and the timer count is started.
- gate G1 opens. As described above, the gate G1 is periodically opened. A beat is detected by the signal processing unit 210 at a predetermined time Tl while the gate G1 is open, and a timing signal is input to the system controller 230. The system controller 230 determines whether or not to switch the light emission mode using a timing signal input as a trigger. Here, since the state in the light emission mode LM1 is the state ST1 or the state ST3, the system controller 230 instructs the LED controller 240 to switch the light emission mode from the light emission mode LM1 to the light emission mode LM2. In response to an instruction from the system controller 230, the LED controller 240 causes the LED 400 to emit light with a light emission pattern based on the light emission mode LM2.
- the gate G2 is opened at the time Tm after 8 seconds from the time Tl.
- a beat is detected by the signal processing unit 210 at a predetermined time Tn while the gate G2 is open, and a timing signal is input to the system controller 230.
- the system controller 230 determines whether or not to switch the light emission mode using a timing signal input as a trigger.
- the system controller 230 instructs the LED controller 240 to switch the light emission mode from the light emission mode LM2 to the light emission mode LM1.
- the LED controller 240 causes the LED 400 to emit light with a light emission pattern based on the light emission mode LM1. Then, the gate G2 is closed.
- a timing signal is input to the system controller 230 with the gate G1 opened at a predetermined time To after the light emission mode transitions to the light emission mode LM1.
- the system controller 230 determines whether or not to switch the light emission mode using a timing signal input as a trigger.
- the system controller 230 ignores the input of the timing signal. That is, the system controller 230 does not instruct the LED controller 240 to switch the light emission mode.
- a timing signal is input to the system controller 230 with the gate G1 opened.
- the system controller 230 determines whether or not to switch the light emission mode using a timing signal input as a trigger.
- the system controller 230 instructs the LED controller 240 to switch the light emission mode from the light emission mode LM1 to the light emission mode LM2.

- the gate G2 is opened at the time Tq after 8 seconds from the time Tp.
- a beat is detected by the signal processing unit 210 at substantially the same time Tr, and a timing signal is input to the system controller 230.
- the system controller 230 determines whether or not to switch the light emission mode using a timing signal input as a trigger.
- the system controller 230 instructs the LED controller 240 to switch the light emission mode from the light emission mode LM2 to the light emission mode LM1.
- the LED controller 240 causes the LED 400 to emit light with a light emission pattern based on the light emission mode LM2. Then, the gate G2 is closed.
- the light emission mode is switched by the exemplified control.
- the light emission mode By switching the light emission mode in the present embodiment, one or more effects exemplified below are exhibited.
- the light emission pattern based on the light emission mode LM2 that is, by causing the LED to emit light asynchronously with beat detection, the atmosphere of light can be changed dynamically even within one song, and attractive illumination can be provided.
- the light emission mode is switched in synchronization with the detection of the beat, the light emission mode can be switched with a natural feeling without giving the user a sudden feeling.
- the switchable period in the example described above, the first switchable period and the second switchable period
- the switchable period is set at a predetermined timing
- the control performed by the system controller can be simplified. That is, it is not necessary to analyze the music structure in advance by a complicated method, and real-time processing is possible. Further, there is no need to obtain metadata describing the music structure. For example, if a beat is detected while the LED emits light with the light emission pattern based on the state ST3, the light emission mode transitions to the light emission mode LM2 and the LED blinks at high speed. Thereby, it is possible to produce a light effect that gives the user a feeling of liberation. -By setting the switchable period, the light emission mode is not necessarily changed even if a beat is detected. For this reason, the user can enjoy the fluctuation (non-regularity) of switching of the light emission mode.
- Second Embodiment> a second embodiment will be described. Since the configuration of the sound reproducing device, the control for switching the light emission mode, and the like in the second embodiment are the same as those in the first embodiment, a duplicate description is omitted. Unless otherwise specified, the items described in the first embodiment can be applied to the second embodiment.
- a plurality of LEDs are grouped into two or more, for example, and the LEDs in each group are caused to emit light with different light emission patterns in the light emission mode LM2.
- a plurality of LEDs 400 are grouped into, for example, a first light emitting element group and a second light emitting element group. How to group the plurality of LEDs 400 can be appropriately set. For example, LEDs (for example, LEDs 401, 402, 403... 411) provided in the control unit 200 are used as the first light emitting element group, and LEDs (for example, LEDs 420, 421, 430) provided in the vicinity of the speaker unit. Can be a second light emitting element group.
- the LED provided in the control unit 200 and the LED provided in the vicinity of the speaker having a small diameter are used as the first light emitting element group, and the LED provided in the vicinity of the speaker unit having a large diameter (for example, , LEDs 420 and 421) may be used as the second light emitting element group.
- each state and transition of each state in the light emission mode LM1 are the same as those in the first embodiment described above, a duplicate description is omitted.
- the state ST10 and the state ST20 are defined, and control based on the state ST10 and the state ST20 is performed simultaneously or substantially simultaneously.
- State ST10 is a control state in which the above-described state ST1 and state ST2 are alternately performed.
- the first light emitting element group emits light according to the light emission pattern based on the state ST2. That is, the first light emitting element group reproduces a predefined short pattern in synchronization with beat detection (in other words, timing signal input).
- beat detection in other words, timing signal input
- State ST20 is a control state similar to the control of state ST4 described above. That is, when the light emission mode is switched from the light emission mode LM1 to the light emission mode LM2, the second light emitting element group blinks at high speed.
- control is performed to cause some LEDs to emit light in synchronization with the detection of the beat and to blink other LEDs at high speed.
- the light emission mode When the light emission mode is switched from the light emission mode LM1 to the light emission mode LM2, it may be uncomfortable for some users when all the LEDs blink at high speed. However, by causing some LEDs to emit light in synchronization with the beat detection, it is possible to provide an atmosphere different from the light emission atmosphere in the light emission mode LM1 while providing a sense of stability to such a user. Note that the first light-emitting element group and the second light-emitting element group may emit light with different colors.
- the speaker SP1 may be provided with a full range speaker unit 350a
- the speaker SP2 may be provided with a full range speaker unit 350b.
- the LEDs provided in the control unit 200 are used as the first light emitting element group
- the LEDs provided in the vicinity of the speaker units 350a and 350b are used as the second light emitting element group to group a plurality of LEDs. Also good.
- the sound reproducing device in the above-described embodiment may be used together with a video display device such as a television device.

<1.第1の実施形態>
<2.第2の実施形態>
<3.変形例>
音響再生装置10は、音源100と、コントロールユニット200と、スピーカ300と、スピーカ301と、LED(Light Emitting Diode)400と、LPF(Low Pass Filter)500と、HPF(High Pass Filter)501とを含む構成を有する。
