図1、図2及び図4に示すように、工作機械は、装置フレーム11と、装置フレーム11の上端に設置された工具マガジン装置12とを備えている。工具マガジン装置12は、装置フレーム11上に固定された支持台13を備えている。支持台13上には、図示しないステーを介して、円環状をなすレール14が固定されている。レール14の上面は水平に配置されている。レール14の周方向の一部には、所定の開口幅を有する分離部141が形成されている。
図3及び図4に示すように、ガイド部材23は、ブラケット22を介して支持台13上に固定されている。ガイド部材23は、レール14の分離部141と対応する位置に配置されている。ガイド部材23は、内側壁部231と外側壁部232とを有している。ガイド部材23は、側面視で略U字状に形成されている。外側壁部232には、凹状のガイド部233が形成されている。ガイド部233は、待機位置P1に配置された工具ポット18を保持する保持部171に連通可能である。
工作機械において、図示しない主軸に装着された工具を別の工具に交換することがある。この場合、駆動モータ16が駆動して保持リング15が回転すると、保持リング15に保持された複数の工具ポット18のローラ20がレール14の上面を転動し、昇降部材24の係合溝243を順次通過する。そして、図4に示すように、所要の工具19が装着された工具ポット18が、レール14の分離部141と対応する待機位置P1に配置される。このため、待機位置P1に配置される工具ポット18のローラ20が、レール14の分離部141に配置されると共に、昇降部材24の係合溝243内に収容される。
(1)工具マガジン装置12は、円環状をなすレール14と、レール14と同軸上に配置される保持リング15と、保持リング15をその軸心を中心に回転させるための駆動モータ16とを備えている。レール14の周方向の一部には、分離部141が形成されている。保持リング15の外周面には、複数の保持板17が固定されている。複数の保持板17は、保持リング15の周方向に沿って配列されている。各保持板17は、保持リング15の軸心方向の下方に開放された保持部171を有している。各保持部171内には、工具ポット18が保持されている。工具ポット18は、保持部171内から下側に抜き出し可能である。搬送装置21は、保持部171内の工具ポット18を交換位置P2へ送り出すと共に、工具ポット18を交換位置P2から保持部171内へ送り込む。各工具ポット18には、ローラ20が回転可能に支持されている。保持リング15の回転に伴い、ローラ20はレール14上を転動する。
・保持板17を省略する代りに、工具ポット18を保持するための保持部171を、保持リング15に直接形成してもよい。
Claims (4)
- 環状に形成され、周方向の一部に分離部を有するレールと、
前記レールと同軸上に配置され、前記レールの軸心方向に開放された複数の保持部を有し、前記複数の保持部は周方向に沿って配列されている保持リングと、
前記保持リングをその軸心を中心に回転させるための駆動モータと、
前記保持部内に抜き出し可能に保持され、工具が着脱される工具ポットと、
前記保持部内の工具ポットを交換位置へ送り出すと共に、前記工具ポットを前記交換位置から前記保持部内へ送り込む搬送装置とを備え、
前記保持リングの回転に伴い、前記工具ポットに支持されたローラが前記レール上を転動し、前記搬送装置による前記工具ポットの移動に際し、前記工具ポットに支持されたローラが前記レールの分離部を通るように構成したことを特徴とする工具マガジン装置。 - 請求項1記載の工具マガジン装置において、
前記レールは水平に配置されていることを特徴とする工具マガジン装置。 - 請求項1又は2記載の工具マガジン装置において、
前記保持リングには、複数の保持板が、前記保持リングの周方向に沿って設けられ、
