Then, the operator inserts the tip of a new standby tape 920 between the insertion recess 32a and the transport tape 910, and sets a new standby tape 920. As described above, since the rear lower end of the stopper member 31 is in contact with the new transport tape 910, the tip of the new standby tape 920 is in contact with the stop portion 31c of the stopper member 31, and the downstream of the standby tape 920 is moved downstream. The conveyance is blocked and the standby tape 920 is waited on the conveyance tape 910.
- the fourth sprocket 64 (upstream sprocket) has a fourth engagement protrusion 64a (upstream) that engages with the engagement hole 901b only at a part of the outer periphery. Side engagement protrusions) are formed.
- the carrier tape 900 intermittently moves to the third sprocket 63 side. For this reason, since the new carrier tape 900 is not suddenly drawn into the third sprocket 63 side, it is safe.
- the third sprocket 63 and the fourth sprocket 64 can be synchronized by the same second servo motor 23 (rotation drive unit) without providing two servo motors for rotating the third sprocket 63 and the fourth sprocket 64, respectively. Even if it is rotated, a structure in which the new carrier tape 900 is not suddenly drawn into the third sprocket 63 can be realized. For this reason, the cost of the feeder 21 can be suppressed.
- grasping the switching point between the carrier tape 900 on the downstream side and the carrier tape 900 on the upstream side is the production of management of the remaining number of parts stored in the carrier tape 900, tracking of defective lots, etc. It is important in management.
- the detection error of the switching point by the sensor occurs due to the fact that the distance between the rear end of the downstream carrier tape 900 and the front end of the upstream carrier tape 900 is not wide. There was a problem.
- the third sprocket 63 is formed with a third engagement protrusion 63a over the entire outer periphery, while the fourth sprocket 64 is formed with a fourth engagement protrusion 64a on a part of the outer periphery.
- the transport tape 910 is engaged with the third sprocket 63.
- the sprocket 63 is transported downstream by the amount rotated.
- the standby tape 920 is conveyed downstream only when engaged with the fourth engagement protrusion 64a, and the standby tape 920 is intermittently moved to the third sprocket 63 side. Moving.
- interval of the rear end of the conveyance tape 910 and the front end of the standby tape 920 opens, and the boundary part of the conveyance tape 910 and the standby tape 920 can be detected reliably by the 1st sensor 65. .
- the fourth engagement protrusion 64a is formed only on a part of the outer periphery of the fourth sprocket 64, a structure can be realized in which the interval between the rear end of the transport tape 910 and the front end of the standby tape 920 is increased. The cost of the feeder 21 can be suppressed.
- the first sensor 65 is provided on the downstream side of the third sprocket 63.
- the mounting position of the first sensor 65 is not limited to this, and may be provided on the downstream side of the fourth sprocket 64.

Abstract
