This reduces variations in capacitance formed between the third electrodes 36a, 36b, and 36c and the detection target, thereby suppressing variations in detection sensitivity in the third detection region 31c. it can.
  • FIG. 7 shows an input device of a second modification of the present embodiment, and shows a partially enlarged plan view of the film sensor.
  • the first electrode 34, the second electrode 35, and the third electrode 36 are individually connected to the lead wiring 42.
  • the lead-out wiring 42 is routed through the non-detection area 32 outside the detection areas 31a, 31b, and 31c, and is connected to a control unit such as an external IC. Therefore, the first electrode 34, the second electrode 35, and the third electrode 36 are independently connected in parallel to the external control unit.
  • the plurality of third electrodes 36 are connected to the same control unit as the first electrode 34 and the second electrode 35 and are subjected to signal processing, individual input operations for the third detection region 31c are performed individually. There is no need to provide a control unit for signal processing. Further, since the electrodes 34, 35, and 36 are prevented from electrically interfering with each other, it is possible to improve the detection accuracy of the position where the input operation is performed.
  • FIG. 8 shows an input device of a third modification of the present embodiment, and shows a partially enlarged plan view of the film sensor.
  • the film sensor 30 shown in FIGS. 4, 5, and 7 is formed by increasing the area of each of the plurality of third electrodes 36 relative to the area of each of the first electrode 34 and the second electrode 35.
  • a large number of third electrodes 36 are formed, that is, the ratio of the total area of the third electrodes 36 to the area of the third detection region 31c is equal to that of the first detection region 31a.
  • FIG. 9 shows an input device according to a fourth modification of the present embodiment
  • FIG. 9A is a sectional view of the input device in a folded state
  • FIG. 9B is an input device in the opened state.
  • the input device 10 of this modification has a first display element 52 attached to the first detection region 31 a of the film sensor 30 via an adhesive layer 47.
  • the second display element 53 is bonded to the second detection region 31 b of the film sensor 30 via the adhesive layer 48. That is, the first display element 52 is provided at a position facing the first front panel 21, and the second display element 53 is provided at a position facing the second front panel 22.
  • the first display element 52 or the second display element 53 is not overlapped on the back surface side, so that the opening shown in FIG. In this state, the film sensor 30 is easily bent. Therefore, when the third electrode 36 (not shown in FIG. 9) is formed with the same area as the first electrode 34 and the second electrode 35, the third electrode 36 is interposed between the detected object and the third electrode 36. Since the capacitance formed is reduced, the detection sensitivity in the third detection region 31c is likely to be lowered. Therefore, as shown in FIGS. 4 and 6 to 8, in the third detection region 31c, the area of the third electrode 36 is made larger than the areas of the first electrode 34 and the second electrode 35. The detection sensitivity variation can be effectively suppressed, and variations in detection sensitivity can be reduced.
  • FIG. 10 shows an input device of a fifth modification of the present embodiment, and shows a sectional view when folded.
  • the input device 10 of the present modification is different in that the first surface panel 21 and the second surface panel 22 face the outside in a folded state.
  • a film sensor 30 is bonded to the back side of the first front panel 21 and the back side of the second front panel 22.
  • the third detection region 31c of the film sensor 30 is curved so as to protrude toward the input surfaces 10a to 10c.
  • the area of the third electrode 36 in the third detection region 31c is made smaller than that of the first electrode 34 or the second electrode 35, so that By reducing the value of the capacitance formed between the detection body and the first detection region 31a, the second detection region 31b, and the third detection region 31c, variations in detection sensitivity can be suppressed.
