Description
本発明は、陽極酸化処理を行って使用されるアルミニウム合金板とその製造方法に関する。
アルミニウム成形品は、耐食性、耐摩耗性の向上および装飾性向上を目的として、陽極酸化処理が従来から広く行なわれてきている。
アルミニウム板の陽極酸化処理の代表的な処方としては、希硫酸やシュウ酸などを処理浴に用いて、アルミニウム板を陽極として電気分解することにより、アルミニウム板の表面を電気化学的に酸化させ、酸化アルミニウムの皮膜を生成させる方法がある。処理後のアルミニウム板表面には、蜂の巣状の多孔質皮膜が形成されるため、沸騰水または酢酸ニッケルなどの高温水溶液、加圧水蒸気により水和することでβアルミナ化し、孔壁を水和膨張させて孔を封じて(封孔処理という)、耐食性を向上させる技法が一般的に用いられている。
アルミニウム板の陽極酸化処理の代表的な処方としては、希硫酸やシュウ酸などを処理浴に用いて、アルミニウム板を陽極として電気分解することにより、アルミニウム板の表面を電気化学的に酸化させ、酸化アルミニウムの皮膜を生成させる方法がある。処理後のアルミニウム板表面には、蜂の巣状の多孔質皮膜が形成されるため、沸騰水または酢酸ニッケルなどの高温水溶液、加圧水蒸気により水和することでβアルミナ化し、孔壁を水和膨張させて孔を封じて(封孔処理という)、耐食性を向上させる技法が一般的に用いられている。
一方、Al-Mg系のJIS5000系アルミニウム合金は、強度や成形性に優れていることから、輸送機器、機械部品、建材、構造材等として広く使用されている。そして、このJIS5000系合金のアルミニウム合金板には、装飾性を付与したり、さらなる耐食性や耐候性の向上を狙って陽極酸化処理が施されている。
しかし、アルミニウム合金板を陽極酸化処理することによって、表面が合金特有の色調に変化することがあるため、商品の着色デザインを行う上で制約が生じることがある。JIS5000系合金のアルミニウム合金板に陽極酸化処理を施すと黄色味を帯びた色調となることから、変色の原因となるCrの含有量を減少させたり(特許文献1)、Cr含有の金属間化合物の含有量を減少させる試みが提案されている(特許文献2)。
5000系アルミニウム合金板は、通常、鋳塊の製造後、均質化熱処理、熱間圧延等の工程を経て製造される。
ところが、こうして得られたアルミニウム合金板を所定の寸法に切断後、陽極酸化処理を施したところ、断面の板厚の中央付近に板表面と平行に濃色の筋模様が発生することが判明している。こうした筋模様は、商品外観上見栄えの良いものではなく、解消を図るべきとの要望が存在していた。
ところが、こうして得られたアルミニウム合金板を所定の寸法に切断後、陽極酸化処理を施したところ、断面の板厚の中央付近に板表面と平行に濃色の筋模様が発生することが判明している。こうした筋模様は、商品外観上見栄えの良いものではなく、解消を図るべきとの要望が存在していた。
本発明は、このような状況に鑑みなされたものであり、その課題は、陽極酸化処理を施したときに板厚中央付近に筋模様が発生することを抑制したアルミニウム合金板とその製造方法を提供することである。
そこで、本発明者らは、この課題の原因と対策について子細に検討を進めたところ、板厚中央付近の筋模様は、鋳造時に板厚中央付近に溶湯中の包晶系元素が集積して取り込まれた結果であることを見出した。さらに、包晶系元素の集積の程度と筋模様との関係を検討したところ、許容し得る包晶系元素の含有量のレベルを確定することができ、そうした合金板を製造する方法を確立するに至り、本発明を完成したものである。
すなわち、本発明のアルミニウム合金板は、Mg:2.2~5.5質量%、Cr:0.08~0.35質量%を含有し、Ti:300質量ppm以下、V:200質量ppm以下、B:50質量ppm以下、Zr:50質量ppm以下、Mo:50質量ppm以下に規制し、残部がAlおよび不可避的不純物からなり、前記Ti、V、B、Zr、Moのそれぞれについて、板厚表層部の濃度をCs(質量ppm)、板厚中央部の濃度をCc(質量ppm)としたときに、関係式(1)を満足することを特徴とする。

このような構成によると、陽極酸化処理を施したときに、アルミニウム合金板の板厚中央付近に発生する筋模様を効果的に抑制することができる。
本発明に係るアルミニウム合金板の製造方法は、Mg:2.2~5.5質量%、Cr:0.08~0.35質量%を含有し、Ti:300質量ppm以下、V:200質量ppm以下、B:50質量ppm以下、Zr:50質量ppm以下、Mo:50質量ppm以下に規制し、残部がAlおよび不可避的不純物からなるアルミニウム合金板の製造方法であって、鋳造工程、均質化熱処理工程および熱間圧延工程を有し、前記鋳造工程において、鋳塊の厚さを450mm以下に規制し、鋳造速度を35mm/min以下で造塊することを特徴とする。
このような製造方法によると、上記のような板厚表層部と板厚中央部におけるTi、V、B、Zr、Moの濃度分布のばらつきが比較的少ないアルミニウム合金板を得ることができる。
本発明のアルミニウム合金板は、陽極酸化処理を施したときに板厚中央付近に発生する筋模様が抑制される。また、本発明のアルミニウム合金板の製造方法は、陽極酸化処理を施したときに、板厚中央付近に発生する筋模様が抑制されたアルミニウム合金板を製造することができる。
以下、本発明に係るアルミニウム合金板(以下、「Al合金板」と記載することもある。)とその製造方法の実施形態について説明する。
〔板厚中央付近に発生する筋模様〕
本発明者らは、Al合金板に対して陽極酸化処理を施したときに板厚中央付近に筋模様が発生する原因について検討を進めた結果、以下のようなメカニズムによって筋模様が発生するものと推定した。

本発明に係るAl合金は、鋳造時の凝固が進む過程において、初晶(αAl結晶)が発生する。このとき、初晶は、Ti、V、B、Zr、Moなどの包晶系元素を取り込み易く、これらの元素の濃度は平均組成よりも高くなる。この初晶(固体)の比重は、溶湯(液体)よりも比重が重いので、溶湯の内部で沈降し、鋳塊の一番深い板厚で、板幅の中央部に集積(偏析)する。
鋳造工程においては、溶湯は凝固プールの上部から投入され、周囲の鋳型で冷却されつつ、鋳塊(スラブ)として固化されながら、下方へ送られていく。このとき溶湯は鋳型に接した周囲から冷却されるため、周囲に比べて凝固プールの中央付近は温度が高くなっており、周囲から中央に向かって温度勾配が生じている。このため、凝固プールの内部は、上方の周辺部から下方の中央部に向かって、等温曲線が生じ、その曲線に沿って、溶湯は冷却され、初晶の晶出が進行していくこととなる。しかし、晶出した初晶は、この等温曲線の中心部へ向かう勾配に沿って、上方の周辺部から下方の中心部へと移動していく。こうした現象が生じることによって、凝固プールの中心付近に包晶系元素を比較的多量に含有する鋳塊(スラブ)が連続して製造されていくこととなる。
また、この偏析の程度は、凝固プールの外径が大きいほど、また凝固プールが深いほど、より顕著になる。
こうして製造された中心部に包晶系元素が偏析した鋳塊は、その後、均質化熱処理、熱間圧延、冷間圧延、焼鈍等の工程を経てAl合金板に加工されていく。しかし、中心部の包晶系元素の偏析はこれらの後工程で修正されることはなく、高濃度の包晶系元素が板厚中央付近に板表面と平行に層状に存在した状態でAl合金板が得られる。このAl合金板に対して陽極酸化処理を施すと、板断面には、包晶系元素の濃度比が存在しているため、色調の違いとして現れて、筋模様が発現することとなる。
この偏析の低減のためには、包晶系元素の含有量の低減が有効であるが、結晶粒微細化の観点から、Ti、Bの添加が常用され、Ti、Bを低減することによる対策は困難であった。そこで、本発明者らは、従来顧みられなかった陽極酸化処理後の筋模様の発現の有無という観点から、Ti、V、B、Zr、Moなどの包晶系元素の許容し得る含有量と板厚表層部と板厚中央部との間での許容し得る濃度比について検討を重ね、以下に説明する結果を得ることができた。
〔合金組成〕
まず、本発明に係るAl合金板の合金組成について説明する。
本発明に係るAl合金板は、Mg:2.2~5.5質量%、Cr:0.08~0.35質量%を含有し、Ti:300質量ppm以下、V:200質量ppm以下、B:50質量ppm以下、Zr:50質量ppm以下、Mo:50質量ppm以下に規制し、残部がAlおよび不可避的不純物から構成される。
本発明に係るAl合金板に含まれる合金成分について以下説明する。
まず、本発明に係るAl合金板の合金組成について説明する。
本発明に係るAl合金板は、Mg:2.2~5.5質量%、Cr:0.08~0.35質量%を含有し、Ti:300質量ppm以下、V:200質量ppm以下、B:50質量ppm以下、Zr:50質量ppm以下、Mo:50質量ppm以下に規制し、残部がAlおよび不可避的不純物から構成される。
本発明に係るAl合金板に含まれる合金成分について以下説明する。
(Mg:2.2~5.5質量%)
Mgは、Mg2Si粒子を析出させて、Al合金板の強度を向上させる効果がある。Mgの含有量が2.2質量%未満の場合、Mg2Si粒子が少なくなり、結晶粒が粗くなるために、Al合金板の外観不良が生じる。一方、Mgの含有量が5.5質量%を超える場合、強度が高くなり過ぎて、Al合金板のプレス加工性が低下する。プレス加工性の低下をより抑えるためには、Mg含有量を3.5質量%以下にすることが好ましい。
Mgは、Mg2Si粒子を析出させて、Al合金板の強度を向上させる効果がある。Mgの含有量が2.2質量%未満の場合、Mg2Si粒子が少なくなり、結晶粒が粗くなるために、Al合金板の外観不良が生じる。一方、Mgの含有量が5.5質量%を超える場合、強度が高くなり過ぎて、Al合金板のプレス加工性が低下する。プレス加工性の低下をより抑えるためには、Mg含有量を3.5質量%以下にすることが好ましい。
(Cr:0.08~0.35質量%)
Crは、包晶系元素ではあるが、筋模様の形成に対しては影響がわずかなものである。一方、Crは、金属間化合物を生成させて、Al合金板の結晶組織の微細化に効果がある。Crの含有量が0.08質量%未満の場合、金属間化合物の生成が少なくなり、結晶粒が粗くなるために、Al合金板の外観不良が生じる。これらの効果をより発現するには、Cr含有量を0.14質量%以上にすることが好ましい。一方、Crの含有量が0.35質量%を超える場合、金属間化合物が多くなり、プレス加工性が低下する。
Crは、包晶系元素ではあるが、筋模様の形成に対しては影響がわずかなものである。一方、Crは、金属間化合物を生成させて、Al合金板の結晶組織の微細化に効果がある。Crの含有量が0.08質量%未満の場合、金属間化合物の生成が少なくなり、結晶粒が粗くなるために、Al合金板の外観不良が生じる。これらの効果をより発現するには、Cr含有量を0.14質量%以上にすることが好ましい。一方、Crの含有量が0.35質量%を超える場合、金属間化合物が多くなり、プレス加工性が低下する。
(Ti:300質量ppm以下)
Tiは、包晶系元素であり、陽極酸化処理を施したときの筋模様の発現に大きく関わっている。そのため、Ti:300質量ppm以下に規制することが必要である。好ましくはTi:100質量ppm以下である。

(V:200質量ppm以下)
Vは、包晶系元素であり、陽極酸化処理を施したときの筋模様の発現に大きく関わっている。そのため、V:200質量ppm以下に規制することが必要である。好ましくはV:150質量ppm以下である。

(B:50質量ppm以下、Zr:50質量ppm以下、Mo:50質量ppm以下)
B、Zr、Moは包晶系元素であり、鋳造工程において初晶の中に取り込まれる傾向がある。そのため、陽極酸化処理を施したときに板厚中央付近に発生する筋模様をより一層抑制するためには、B、Zr、Moはいずれも50質量ppm以下であることが必要である。好ましくは、いずれの元素も30質量ppm以下である。さらに、B、Zr、Moの包晶系元素の含有量の合計は、100質量ppm以下であることが好ましい。
尚、上記のCr、Ti、V、B、Zr、Mo以外の包晶系元素として、Ta、W、Nb等がある。しかし、これらの元素は通常、不可避的不純物として、数質量ppmレベルの含有量でしか存在せず、筋模様への影響は微小であり、考慮する必要はない。
B、Zr、Moは包晶系元素であり、鋳造工程において初晶の中に取り込まれる傾向がある。そのため、陽極酸化処理を施したときに板厚中央付近に発生する筋模様をより一層抑制するためには、B、Zr、Moはいずれも50質量ppm以下であることが必要である。好ましくは、いずれの元素も30質量ppm以下である。さらに、B、Zr、Moの包晶系元素の含有量の合計は、100質量ppm以下であることが好ましい。
尚、上記のCr、Ti、V、B、Zr、Mo以外の包晶系元素として、Ta、W、Nb等がある。しかし、これらの元素は通常、不可避的不純物として、数質量ppmレベルの含有量でしか存在せず、筋模様への影響は微小であり、考慮する必要はない。
(残部:Alおよび不可避的不純物)
本発明に係るAl合金板の成分は、前記の他、残部がAlおよび不可避不純物からなるものである。その他の不可避的不純物としては、Fe、Si、Cu、Mn、Zn等が考えられる。これらの元素は、本発明の筋模様に係る包晶系元素とは異なる共晶系元素である。これらの共晶系元素は筋模様には係わらないものであるため、本発明の効果を害さないレベルで含有していてもよい。具体的には、Fe:0.35質量%以下、Si:0.30質量%以下、Cu:0.15質量%以下、Mn:0.70質量%以下、Zn:0.15質量%以下であれば許容される。
本発明に係るAl合金板の成分は、前記の他、残部がAlおよび不可避不純物からなるものである。その他の不可避的不純物としては、Fe、Si、Cu、Mn、Zn等が考えられる。これらの元素は、本発明の筋模様に係る包晶系元素とは異なる共晶系元素である。これらの共晶系元素は筋模様には係わらないものであるため、本発明の効果を害さないレベルで含有していてもよい。具体的には、Fe:0.35質量%以下、Si:0.30質量%以下、Cu:0.15質量%以下、Mn:0.70質量%以下、Zn:0.15質量%以下であれば許容される。
〔板厚表層部と板厚中央部の濃度比の関係式〕
次に、包晶系元素の板厚表層部と板厚中央部との間での許容し得る濃度比について説明する。Al合金板に陽極酸化処理を施したときに、板厚中央付近に筋模様が発生することを抑制するためには、Ti、V、B、Zr、Moの板厚表層部と板厚中央部との間での許容し得る濃度比について、以下のことが必要である。
即ち、Ti、V、B、Zr、Moのそれぞれについて、板厚表層部の濃度をCs(質量ppm)、板厚中央部の濃度をCc(質量ppm)としたときに、関係式(1)を満足することが必要である。
1≦Cc/Cs≦3 ・・・ (1)
好ましくは、1≦Cc/Cs≦2である。
次に、包晶系元素の板厚表層部と板厚中央部との間での許容し得る濃度比について説明する。Al合金板に陽極酸化処理を施したときに、板厚中央付近に筋模様が発生することを抑制するためには、Ti、V、B、Zr、Moの板厚表層部と板厚中央部との間での許容し得る濃度比について、以下のことが必要である。
即ち、Ti、V、B、Zr、Moのそれぞれについて、板厚表層部の濃度をCs(質量ppm)、板厚中央部の濃度をCc(質量ppm)としたときに、関係式(1)を満足することが必要である。

好ましくは、1≦Cc/Cs≦2である。
Ti、V、B、Zr、Moの板厚表層部と板厚中央部との間での濃度比を制御するためには、後記する製造方法の鋳造工程において、特定の条件を採用することが有効である。
包晶系元素の板厚表層部と板厚中央部における濃度は、以下の方法で測定することができる。
板厚表層部の濃度は、アルミニウム合金板を最表層から100μm深さまで研磨して、グロー放電質量分析法(GD-MS)にて元素分析を行うことによって測定する。板厚中央部の濃度は、アルミニウム合金板を板厚中央まで研磨して、グロー放電質量分析法(GD-MS)にて元素分析を行うことによって測定する。それぞれの分析においては、放電条件として、3mA、1kV、分析面積10mmφにて各金属元素の定量分析(質量ppm)を行う。
得られた各元素の板厚表層部の濃度と、板厚中央部の濃度から、上記の関係式(1)の比Cc/Csを求めることができる。
板厚表層部の濃度は、アルミニウム合金板を最表層から100μm深さまで研磨して、グロー放電質量分析法(GD-MS)にて元素分析を行うことによって測定する。板厚中央部の濃度は、アルミニウム合金板を板厚中央まで研磨して、グロー放電質量分析法(GD-MS)にて元素分析を行うことによって測定する。それぞれの分析においては、放電条件として、3mA、1kV、分析面積10mmφにて各金属元素の定量分析(質量ppm)を行う。
得られた各元素の板厚表層部の濃度と、板厚中央部の濃度から、上記の関係式(1)の比Cc/Csを求めることができる。
〔製造方法について〕
本発明に係るAl合金板の製造方法は、Mg:2.2~5.5質量%、Cr:0.08~0.35質量%を含有し、Ti:300質量ppm以下、V:200質量ppm以下、B:50質量ppm以下、Zr:50質量ppm以下、Mo:50質量ppm以下に規制し、残部がAlおよび不可避的不純物からなるアルミニウム合金板の製造方法であって、鋳造工程、均質化熱処理工程および熱間圧延工程を有し、前記鋳造工程において、鋳塊の厚さを450mm以下に規制し、鋳造速度を35mm/min以下で造塊することを特徴としている。

例えば、前記組成を有する鋳塊を鋳造する鋳造工程と、鋳造工程で作製されたアルミニウム合金鋳塊に均質化熱処理を施す工程と、均質化熱処理を施された鋳塊を熱間圧延する工程と、熱間圧延されたアルミニウム合金圧延板を冷間圧延する工程と、冷間圧延されたアルミニウム合金圧延板を焼鈍する工程等を経て製造することができる。冷間圧延する工程や焼鈍する工程は必要に応じて行われる。
下記に特に記載した以外の工程については、従来の公知の常法に則って行うことができる。

(鋳造工程)
本発明に係るAl合金板の製造方法では、包晶系元素の偏析を抑制するためには、鋳造を特定の条件で行うことが必要となる。
前記したように、偏析の程度は、鋳塊の厚さが大きいほど等温曲線の中心部へ向かう勾配は急となるため、より顕著になる。そのため、鋳塊の厚さを450mm以下に規制することが必要である。好ましくは、鋳塊の厚さは400mm以下、更に好ましくは、300mm以下である。
また、偏析の程度は、凝固プールが深いほど、即ち鋳造速度が速いほど、より顕著になる。そのため、鋳造速度を35mm/min以下に規制することが必要である。好ましくは、鋳造速度は30mm/min以下、更に好ましくは、20mm/min以下である。
本発明に係るAl合金板の製造方法では、包晶系元素の偏析を抑制するためには、鋳造を特定の条件で行うことが必要となる。
前記したように、偏析の程度は、鋳塊の厚さが大きいほど等温曲線の中心部へ向かう勾配は急となるため、より顕著になる。そのため、鋳塊の厚さを450mm以下に規制することが必要である。好ましくは、鋳塊の厚さは400mm以下、更に好ましくは、300mm以下である。

従って、鋳造工程において、鋳塊の厚さを450mm以下に規制し、鋳造速度を35mm/min以下で造塊することが必要である。
また、鋳造温度は、700~720℃の比較的高い温度で造塊する方が、初晶の発生量が少なくなるため好ましい。

尚、偏析の程度は、凝固プールが深いほどより顕著になることから、鋳造に使用する凝固プールの深さを浅くする方法が考えられる。この方法は、鋳型を薄くし、鋳造速度を遅くすることによって可能となるが、生産性向上を図ることとは逆行するため、従来は、こうした方法が採用することは困難であった。
〔アルミニウム合金板〕
本発明に係るAl合金板は、各種成形加工を施すことによって、種々の形状、用途に使用することができる。成形加工としては、プレス成形、曲げ加工、切り出し加工、打ち抜き加工、切削加工等、特に制限されるわけではない。Al合金板の板厚も特に制限されないが、1~50mm厚の板とすることができる。
本発明に係るAl合金板は、各種成形加工を施すことによって、種々の形状、用途に使用することができる。成形加工としては、プレス成形、曲げ加工、切り出し加工、打ち抜き加工、切削加工等、特に制限されるわけではない。Al合金板の板厚も特に制限されないが、1~50mm厚の板とすることができる。
本発明に係るAl合金板は、陽極酸化処理が施されているAl合金板としたときにその特徴が大いに発揮されるものである。陽極酸化処理の方法としては、従来から行われている公知の方法・条件を適用することができる。
以上説明してきたように、本発明に係るAl合金板は、輸送機器、機械部品、建材、構造材等として使用することができる。特に、陽極酸化処理を施したときに板厚中央付近に筋模様が発生することが少ないため、陽極酸化処理を施す用途であって、外観を重視するような用途や装飾用の用途向けに好ましく使用することができるものである。
以下に、本発明の実施例を、比較例と対比して具体的に説明する。なお、本発明はこれらの実施例に限定されるものではない。
(実施例1~10、比較例1~10)
表1に示す組成のアルミニウム合金を溶製後、鋳造温度700℃で、鋳造速度30mm/minにて鋳造し、400mm厚の鋳塊を得た。この鋳塊に面削を施した後に、560℃にて10時間の均質化熱処理後、室温まで冷却した。次いで、400℃にて2hr保持して再加熱した後、厚さ6.7mmまで熱間圧延した。さらに、厚さ5mmまで冷間圧延を施し、200℃の温度に3時間保持して、最終焼鈍を施した。尚、比較例9は、鋳塊の厚さを500mmとし、比較例10は、鋳造速度を50mm/minとした以外は、上記と同様に行った。
表1に示す組成のアルミニウム合金を溶製後、鋳造温度700℃で、鋳造速度30mm/minにて鋳造し、400mm厚の鋳塊を得た。この鋳塊に面削を施した後に、560℃にて10時間の均質化熱処理後、室温まで冷却した。次いで、400℃にて2hr保持して再加熱した後、厚さ6.7mmまで熱間圧延した。さらに、厚さ5mmまで冷間圧延を施し、200℃の温度に3時間保持して、最終焼鈍を施した。尚、比較例9は、鋳塊の厚さを500mmとし、比較例10は、鋳造速度を50mm/minとした以外は、上記と同様に行った。
作製したアルミニウム合金板について、以下の各項目について評価した。
(板厚表層部と板厚中央部における包晶系元素の濃度)
Ti、V、B、Zr、Moについて、各元素の板厚表層部における濃度をCs(質量ppm)、板厚中央部における濃度をCc(質量ppm)とする。
各元素の板厚表層部と板厚中央部における濃度は、以下の方法で測定した。
Al合金板の板幅の中央部であって、長手の中央部付近から供試用試料を3枚採取した。

Ti、V、B、Zr、Moについて、各元素の板厚表層部における濃度をCs(質量ppm)、板厚中央部における濃度をCc(質量ppm)とする。
各元素の板厚表層部と板厚中央部における濃度は、以下の方法で測定した。
Al合金板の板幅の中央部であって、長手の中央部付近から供試用試料を3枚採取した。

Ti、V、B、Zr、Moについて、上記測定で得られた板厚表層部の濃度Cs(質量ppm)、板厚中央部の濃度Cc(質量ppm)から、各元素毎に、Cc/Csの数値を算出した。

(断面外観)
(1)供試用試料の準備
Al合金板の板幅の中央部であって、長手の中央部付近から供試用試料を3枚採取した。試料の切断は、シャーを用いて、150mm角に切断し、その後、シャー切断面が消える程度まで、板断面の4面をミーリングにて鏡面加工した。
(2)陽極酸化処理前の前処理
有機溶剤にて脱脂洗浄した後、60℃、5%苛性ソーダ水溶液に1分間浸漬し、水洗後に、20℃、30%硝酸水溶液に1分間浸漬して中和した。
(3)陽極酸化処理
浴温度20℃、200g/lの硫酸浴に電流密度2A/dm2、処理時間15minにて浸漬させた後、水洗した。
(4)封孔処理
酢酸ニッケル水溶液に、90℃で20分浸漬後、水洗し、乾燥した。
(5)断面外観の評価方法
上記陽極酸化処理後の板断面部を筋模様の有無を目視にて確認し、筋模様がなく、良好な外観が得られた場合を○、筋模様が認められた場合を×とした。

浴温度20℃、200g/lの硫酸浴に電流密度2A/dm2、処理時間15minにて浸漬させた後、水洗した。
(4)封孔処理
酢酸ニッケル水溶液に、90℃で20分浸漬後、水洗し、乾燥した。
(5)断面外観の評価方法
上記陽極酸化処理後の板断面部を筋模様の有無を目視にて確認し、筋模様がなく、良好な外観が得られた場合を○、筋模様が認められた場合を×とした。
実施例、比較例に用いたアルミニウム合金の組成、評価結果を表1に示す。尚、表1において、アルミニウム合金を構成する各元素の含有量が、請求項1の規定から外れる数値には下線を引いて示した。また、含有量が測定限界未満の元素は「-」と表示している。
表1から分かるように、本発明の組成のアルミニウム合金を用いて、本発明の製造方法の条件で製造されたアルミニウム合金板(実施例1~10)はいずれも、陽極酸化処理後の断面外観に優れたアルミニウム合金板であった。
一方、比較例1、2は、それぞれMgまたはCrの含有量が上限値を超えるものであり、断面外観は良好であったものの、プレス加工時に割れが生じて、加工性に劣るものであった。
比較例3は、Mgの含有量が下限値未満のものである。結晶粒が粗いことに起因して、Al合金板の外観において不良なものであった。
比較例4は、Crの含有量が下限値未満のものであり、Zrについて関係式(1)を満足せず、Cc/Csが3を超えるものである。断面外観に劣り、また結晶粒が粗いことに起因して、Al合金板の外観においても不良なものであった。
比較例5~8は、それぞれTi、B、V、Moの含有量が上限値を超えるものであり、それぞれTi、B、V、Moについて関係式(1)を満足せず、Cc/Csが3を超えるものである。いずれも断面外観に劣るものであった。
比較例9は、合金組成は請求項1の規定を満足しているものであるが、鋳造工程において、鋳塊の厚さを500mmとしてAl合金板の製造を行ったものである。Tiについて関係式(1)を満足せず、Cc/Csが3を超えるものであり、断面外観に劣るものであった。
比較例10は、合金組成は請求項1の規定を満足しているものであるが、鋳造工程において、鋳造速度を50mm/minとしてAl合金板の製造を行ったものである。Tiについて関係式(1)を満足せず、Cc/Csが3を超えるものであり、断面外観に劣るものであった。
比較例3は、Mgの含有量が下限値未満のものである。結晶粒が粗いことに起因して、Al合金板の外観において不良なものであった。
比較例4は、Crの含有量が下限値未満のものであり、Zrについて関係式(1)を満足せず、Cc/Csが3を超えるものである。断面外観に劣り、また結晶粒が粗いことに起因して、Al合金板の外観においても不良なものであった。
比較例5~8は、それぞれTi、B、V、Moの含有量が上限値を超えるものであり、それぞれTi、B、V、Moについて関係式(1)を満足せず、Cc/Csが3を超えるものである。いずれも断面外観に劣るものであった。
比較例9は、合金組成は請求項1の規定を満足しているものであるが、鋳造工程において、鋳塊の厚さを500mmとしてAl合金板の製造を行ったものである。Tiについて関係式(1)を満足せず、Cc/Csが3を超えるものであり、断面外観に劣るものであった。
比較例10は、合金組成は請求項1の規定を満足しているものであるが、鋳造工程において、鋳造速度を50mm/minとしてAl合金板の製造を行ったものである。Tiについて関係式(1)を満足せず、Cc/Csが3を超えるものであり、断面外観に劣るものであった。
本発明を詳細にまた特定の実施態様を参照して説明したが、本発明の精神と範囲を逸脱することなく様々な変更や修正を加えることができることは当業者にとって明らかである。

Claims (3)
- Mg:2.2~5.5質量%、Cr:0.08~0.35質量%を含有し、Ti:300質量ppm以下、V:200質量ppm以下、B:50質量ppm以下、Zr:50質量ppm以下、Mo:50質量ppm以下に規制し、残部がAlおよび不可避的不純物からなり、
前記Ti、V、B、Zr、Moのそれぞれについて、板厚表層部の濃度をCs(質量ppm)、板厚中央部の濃度をCc(質量ppm)としたときに、関係式(1)を満足することを特徴とするアルミニウム合金板。
1≦Cc/Cs≦3 ・・・ (1) - Ti含有量の下限が9質量ppm、B含有量の下限が2質量ppmであることを特徴とする請求項1記載のアルミニウム合金板。

鋳造工程、均質化熱処理工程および熱間圧延工程を有し、
前記鋳造工程において、鋳塊の厚さを450mm以下に規制し、鋳造速度を35mm/min以下で造塊することを特徴とするアルミニウム合金板の製造方法。
