Abstract
L'invention concerne un frein à disques pour un véhicule utilitaire. Ce frein est pourvu d'un étrier (2) comprenant un disque de frein, ledit étrier (2) étant fixé axialement mobile sur un support de frein fixe (1), par rapport au disque de frein, au moyen de deux éléments de fixation, parmi lesquels l'un est réalisé sous la forme d'un palier fixe et l'autre sous la forme d'un palier libre (5). Le palier libre (5) comprend une douille de guidage (6) retenue fermement dans l'étrier de frein (2). Cette douille (6) est constituée d'un manchon de palier (7), d'une bague de butée (8) montée sur celui-ci sur une extrémité et d'une douille de glissement (10) retenue bloquée en translation dans le manchon de palier (7). Cette douille de glissement (10) est constituée d'une matière plastique, en particulier d'un élastomère, et un longeron de guidage (12) relié au support de frein (1) y est guidé mobile longitudinalement. Le manchon de palier (7) et la bague de butée (8) sont réalisés d'une seule pièce.
