- the frequency of the connection signal may be selected in the same order as the first time or may be changed at random.
- the frequency used for transmitting the connection signal is arbitrarily selected from the frequencies that can be transmitted by the terminal.
- the transmission power and the antenna gain are the same, it is generally considered that a signal having a lower frequency has less attenuation and a wider signal reachable range. Therefore, it is good also as a structure which transmits the signal for a connection in an order from the lowest frequency among the frequencies which a terminal can transmit.
- the system is configured to transmit the connection signal by increasing the transmission power at the same frequency before transmitting the signal at another frequency. You may do it.

- the terminal can select a frequency for transmitting a connection signal from frequencies in which a frequency band that can be transmitted by the terminal matches a frequency band that can be received by the wireless station ( 107). By adopting such a configuration, it is possible to avoid that the terminal transmits a connection signal using a frequency that the wireless station cannot receive in the first place.

If the performance required most is the communication speed (144), the order of radio stations with the highest communication speed is set as the priority (145). In the embodiment shown in FIG. 12, the communication speed is the fastest at the wireless station C, followed by the wireless station B, and finally the wireless station A. If it is neither high-speed mobility nor communication speed, one item notified from the radio station is selected, and the priority of the radio station with good conditions in the selected item is increased (146).
- FIG. 14 shows a functional configuration of the terminal that performs such an operation. Only the differences from the functional configuration of the terminal shown in FIG. 4 will be described below.
- the terminal according to the second embodiment includes a priority order determination unit 151, a requested communication speed determination unit 152, a terminal moving speed estimation unit 153, a wireless station frequency / terminal usable frequency comparison unit 154, a wireless station, among wireless communication control units.
- An information notification signal processing unit 155 is included.
- the terminal obtains usable frequency information from the information transmitted from the wireless station by the wireless station information notification signal processing unit.
- the comparison unit between the radio station frequency and the terminal usable frequency the frequency used by the radio station is compared with the frequency that can be used by the terminal, and the matching frequency is extracted.

- the required communication speed determination unit determines the required communication speed suitable for the application, for example, by recognizing the application used by the terminal.
- a terminal moving speed estimation part estimates the moving speed of a terminal using GPS, for example.
- the priority order determination method is not limited to the flowchart shown in FIG. 13.
- the priority order may be determined by combining a plurality of items shown in FIG. 11. In that case, the determination may be made comprehensively by using the result calculated or estimated by the requested communication speed determination unit or the terminal movement speed estimation unit.
- connection signal since the connection signal is transmitted by selecting from frequencies that can be transmitted by the terminal, the connection signal may be transmitted at a frequency that cannot be received by the wireless station. Therefore, by adopting the configuration as in the second embodiment, it is possible to prevent the connection signal from being transmitted using a frequency that is not used by the wireless station, and to connect the terminal and the wireless station more reliably and efficiently. Can provide a system.
- the information such as the frequencies of all the radio stations can be delivered over a wide range by transmitting from the radio station communicating at the lowest frequency. Further, by notifying the terminal of information other than the frequency as information on the radio station, the terminal can determine the priority order of the frequencies for transmitting the connection signal in consideration of information other than the frequency.
- the operation sequence of the terminal, the radio station, and the radio station communication management unit in the third embodiment will be described with reference to FIG.
- the frequency and characteristics of each radio station are included in the notification signal that the radio station A periodically sends to all terminals. This information is also notified together (161).
- the other operations are the same as the operation sequence described with reference to FIG.
- the terminal since the information for synchronization, the information on the timing to access the radio station, and the information about all the radio stations can be sent at once as the broadcast signal, the terminal receives these information separately. Compared with the case where it does, connection to a radio station can be performed still more efficiently.
- the wireless station A notifies the wireless station information, but may be notified from other wireless stations. Moreover, you may comprise so that it may alert
- FIG. 16 shows a case where the terminal and the wireless device when the terminal moves from a wireless station different from the wireless station managed by the wireless station communication management unit into the communication area of the wireless station managed by the wireless station communication management unit.
- 3 is an operation sequence of a station and a radio station communication management unit. First, a case will be described in which the terminal is connected to the wireless station A having the lowest frequency, and then the terminal is handed over to a more suitable wireless station in accordance with the communication request of the terminal.
- the terminal first connects to the wireless station A and communicates with the wireless station A (171). Thereafter, the terminal transmits to the wireless station A a signal for notifying a communication request with the desired wireless station, such as a desired communication speed and a moving speed of the terminal (172).
- the wireless station A transmits the received information to the wireless station communication management unit (173).
- the radio station communication management unit determines the priority order of the radio station to which the terminal communicates next in consideration of both the communication request sent from the terminal and the load of each radio station (174). And the determination result of the priority order are notified to the wireless station A (175).
- the wireless station A transmits a signal notifying the information, priority, and transmission timing of each wireless station to a specific terminal to be handed over (176).
- the radio station communication manager notifies the radio station having the highest priority order of the timing at which the terminal that desires the handover transmits the connection signal (177), and the terminal follows the designated timing. Then, a connection signal is transmitted to the radio station having the highest priority (178).
- the subsequent operation is the same as in the other embodiments described so far.
- the wireless station communication management unit since the wireless station communication management unit determines the priority order of the wireless stations to which the terminal sends the connection signal, the wireless station communication management unit receives the connection signal reception result from which wireless station at which timing. I can understand. Therefore, if the reception result of the connection signal is not notified from any wireless station at the expected timing, information on the terminal that transmits the connection signal and the transmission timing to the second highest priority wireless station Are configured to communicate. In addition, when a response signal is not transmitted from the radio station with the highest priority, the terminal is configured to transmit a connection signal to the radio station with the second highest priority at a predetermined timing. If there is no radio station more suitable than the radio station A as a handover destination, communication with the radio station A is continued.
- the radio station communication management unit determines the radio station that is the handover destination of the terminal, it is possible to determine the priority in consideration of the load of each radio station, and therefore the terminal determines the priority. There is a possibility that the radio resources of the entire system can be used more efficiently than in the case of doing so.
- the load of each wireless station is, for example, the number of terminals with which the wireless station is communicating, and is information managed by the wireless station communication management unit.
- the terminal is first connected to the wireless station A that uses the lowest frequency among the wireless stations. Thereafter, considering both the load of each radio station and the communication request of the terminal, the radio communication management station determines the priority order of the radio station to which the terminal newly connects and notifies the terminal of the result. Therefore, the radio resources of the entire radio communication system can be used more efficiently.
- the terminal is connected to the wireless station A having the lowest frequency first, the terminal is connected to the wireless station having the widest communication area while being managed by the wireless station communication management unit. Also good.
- the operation sequence of the terminal, the radio station, and the radio station communication management unit in the fifth embodiment will be described with reference to FIG.
- the terminal while the terminal is communicating with a wireless station that communicates using a higher frequency than the wireless station A, the reception power of the signal from the wireless station is reduced due to the movement of the terminal location or the change of the propagation environment.
- an operation sequence when the radio station determines that a handover to a radio station with another frequency or another radio station with the same frequency is necessary is shown.
- the terminal is communicating with the wireless station B-2 (181), and periodically notifies the wireless station B-2 of the received power of the signal received from the wireless station B-2. (182).
- the wireless station B-2 determines to change the wireless station that communicates with the terminal (183).
- the wireless station B-2 requests the wireless station communication manager to notify each wireless station of information (184), and the wireless station communication manager notifies the wireless station B-2 of the information of each wireless station (185). ).
- the wireless station B-2 transmits a notification signal of information on each wireless station to a terminal that needs to be handed over as a signal for a specific terminal (186).
- the terminal determines the priority order of the frequencies used for connection signal transmission (131), and transmits the connection signal at the frequency with the highest priority order (177).
- the following operations are the same as in the other embodiments described so far.
- the terminal is notified of information on each wireless station from the currently communicating wireless station B-2. For example, as in the fourth embodiment, the terminal first communicates with the wireless station A, then hands over to the wireless station B-2 and communicates with the wireless station B-2. Information about each wireless station is notified. For this reason, when handing over from the wireless station B-2 to another wireless station, it is preferable that only the information updated from the information notified from the wireless station A is notified.
- the updated information is, for example, a communication congestion level 191 in each wireless station as shown in FIG. Since the communication congestion level is information that changes with time, each wireless station may be configured to periodically notify the wireless station communication management unit of information on the communication congestion level so that it can be updated in a timely manner.
- the information on each radio station includes fixed information such as a used frequency, the number of radio stations using the frequency, the maximum communication speed at the radio station of the frequency, and the corresponding moving speed. Thus, it can be roughly divided into fluctuation information that changes with time, such as the degree of congestion of each radio station. Therefore, it is not necessary to send the fluctuation information and the fixed information to the terminal at the same frequency, and these pieces of information may be sent separately.
- the terminal communicating with the wireless station other than the wireless station A is configured to notify the terminal of the information of each wireless station from the currently communicating wireless station. However, it is not necessary to change the connection to the wireless station A every time a handover is performed. Further, by transmitting only the variation information, it is possible to reduce the radio resources to be used compared to the case where both the fixed information and the variation information are transmitted. Further, in the present embodiment, an example is described in which the wireless station performs handover determination, but the terminal may perform determination.
- connection signals transmitted by the terminals are configured to be received simultaneously by radio stations that can receive signals of that frequency. Therefore, for example, as shown in FIG. 19 (a), four radio stations C-4 to C-4 of the frequency C are arranged adjacent to each other, and the terminals are the radio station C-1 and the radio station C-1. If it exists between the C-2 cells, the radio station communication management unit can estimate the position of the terminal from the reception results of the connection signals of the radio stations C-1 to C-4. it can.
- the radio station has an array antenna function capable of beam forming in the direction in which a specific terminal exists.
- antenna beam pattern (204) is set to face the terminal (17).
- the receiving power of a terminal can be enlarged.
- the intensity of the radio wave reaching from the radio station C-2 to the radio station C-1 becomes larger than that in FIG. 19 (a). Therefore, in order to prevent interference between adjacent cells, the beam direction (201) of the radio station C-1 is adjusted (203) so as to face the opposite side of the radio station C-2 as shown in FIG. 19 (b). Then it is better.
- the wireless station C has a function of changing the beam direction as an array antenna
- the position of the terminal is not known when receiving a connection signal from the terminal. Therefore, it is desirable to receive a signal with a beam pattern that covers all directions as shown in FIG.
- the received power of the terminal can be increased by directing the beam to the terminal, and communication can be performed in a better state. can do.
