Abstract

L'invention concerne une structure en béton armé comprenant un renforcement (1, 11) composé d'une pluralité d'éléments longitudinaux allongés (2, 12) constitués de fibre de verre ou d'un matériau similaire, disposés sensiblement parallèlement les uns aux autres dans au moins une direction prédéterminée. Les éléments longitudinaux allongés sont accouplés les uns aux autres à l'aide de moyens d'accouplement (3, 13) en fibre de verre ou formés par une bande de matériau polymère flexible. Des fibres métalliques et/ou synthétiques sont mélangées à la matrice de béton pour conférer à la structure une résistance au cisaillement, ce qui lui permet de réduire sensiblement le nombre d'éléments d'accouplement (3, 13).
