Definitions
- the present invention relates to a heat exchanger that performs heat exchange between a first fluid and a second fluid.
- a heat exchanger that performs heat exchange between a first fluid and a second fluid
- a heat exchanger that performs heat exchange between exhaust gas and cooling water in an internal combustion engine of an automobile.
- a heat exchanger disclosed in Patent Document 1 is housed in a case (outer tube), a first fluid (exhaust gas, etc.) is supplied to the case, and a second fluid (cooling water, etc.) ) Is supplied to the inside of the heat exchanger, thereby exchanging heat between the first fluid and the second fluid.
- the first fluid flowing inside the case flows faster as it is closer to the central axis of the case, and flows slower as it is closer to the outside, that is, the side wall of the case. That is, the flow rate of the first fluid varies in the cross section perpendicular to the central axis of the case. Therefore, when a heat exchanger in which the second fluid is accommodated is provided in the case where the first fluid flows and heat exchange between the first fluid and the second fluid is performed, heat exchange is performed. In the outer part of the vessel, the heat-exchanged first fluid is difficult to flow downstream, and heat exchange is not sufficiently performed. As a result, the efficiency of heat exchange between the first fluid and the second fluid is reduced. Sometimes.
- An object of the present invention is to provide a heat exchanger capable of efficiently performing heat exchange between the first fluid and the second fluid flowing inside the heat exchanger.
- the present invention includes a heat exchanger main body that is housed in a case through which a first fluid flows and that houses a second fluid, and the first fluid and the second fluid
- the heat exchanger main body has a plurality of first flow paths arranged so that the first fluid flows through the inside of the heat exchanger main body.
- the plurality of first flow paths are symmetrical with respect to the central axis of the case in a side view in one direction, and have a shape protruding upstream as the upstream side goes toward the center. It extends substantially parallel to the central axis of the case, and is longer as it is arranged at the center of the heat exchanger body.
- the first fluid when the first fluid hits the upstream side of the heat exchanger body, it tends to spread from the center of the heat exchanger body to the outside, that is, the side wall of the case, and efficiently near the outside of the heat exchanger body. It begins to flow. Further, since the first flow path extends substantially parallel to the central axis of the case, the first fluid flows in parallel to the central axis of the case as much as possible without resistance. Furthermore, since the plurality of first flow paths are formed longer as they are arranged at the center of the heat exchanger body, the first fluid is outside the flow path whose length is shorter than the vicinity of the center of the heat exchanger body. It becomes easy to flow toward the vicinity. Therefore, according to this structure, a 1st fluid comes to flow as much as possible to the whole heat exchanger main body, and heat exchange with a 1st fluid and a 2nd fluid can be performed efficiently.
- a supply port for supplying the second fluid to the inside of the heat exchanger main body is formed in one of the center on the upstream side and the center on the downstream side of the heat exchanger main body, and the upstream of the heat exchanger main body.
- a discharge port for discharging the second fluid from the inside of the heat exchanger body is formed on the side where the supply port is not provided in the center on the side and the center on the downstream side, and the heat exchanger body is supplied from the supply port.
- the supply port and the discharge port are positioned on the central axis of the case in a side view in one direction, and the second flow path extends substantially parallel to the central axis of the case. Will flow parallel to the central axis of the case with minimal resistance. Furthermore, since the plurality of second flow paths are formed longer as they are arranged at the center of the heat exchanger body, the second fluid supplied from the supply port flows toward the outside of the heat exchanger body. It becomes easy. Therefore, according to this configuration, the second fluid flows as uniformly as possible throughout the interior of the heat exchanger body, and heat exchange between the first fluid and the second fluid can be performed efficiently.
- the upstream side channel width of the first channel becomes wider toward the upstream side.
- the first fluid since the first fluid easily flows into the first flow path, the first fluid can be efficiently supplied to the heat exchanger body, and heat exchange can be performed more efficiently.
- the upstream side channel width of the second channel becomes wider toward the upstream side.
- the second fluid since the second fluid easily flows into the second flow path, the second fluid can be efficiently supplied to the second flow path, and heat exchange can be performed more efficiently.

Abstract
