Abstract

An indoor screen baseball practice system and a method for implementing the same are disclosed. The indoor screen baseball practice system comprises a pitching practice device and a batting practice device, wherein the pitching practice device comprises: a first screen which is provided at the end of a pitching path in a front direction of a pitcher's mound; a motion capture camera which is provided in a front direction of a user, recognizes a predetermined motion sign of the user in order to select a plurality of pitches displayed through the first screen, and photographs a pitching motion of the user so as to display the pitching motion on the first screen; a plurality of ball-tracking photographing cameras which are provided on an upper side and left and right sides of the pitching path so as to photograph the path of a pitch; a speed measurer for measuring a ball speed in the front direction of the user; an ultrahigh-speed camera for photographing a grip of a ball by being provided on an upper side of the pitcher's mound; and a strike identifying sensor for identifying whether or not the ball pitched on the first screen is a strike; and the batting practice device comprises: a second screen provided at the end of a front direction of a batter's box; a pitching machine for pitching a plurality of pitches; batting-photographing cameras which are provided on an upper side and left and right sides of the batter's box, and which photograph batting of a ball pitched by the pitching machine so as to display a hitting point of a bat and a batting motion of the user on the second screen during the batting of the ball; and ball direction detection sensors which are provided on a front side and left and right sides of the batter's box, and which detect a direction of the ball so as to determine whether or not the hit is a single/foul during the batting of the user.
