- a construction unit in particular for a piece of furniture such as furniture, is disclosed in GB 1 168 595 A.
- a (cross-shaped) corner connector is provided, which is made as a punched / bent part of Biech and consists of only two one-piece side panels. According to FIG. 7, one side part is flat, while the other is U-shaped in cross-section.
- FIG. 202 05 670 U1 Another construction unit of two connected by a corner connector hollow profile struts is shown in DE 202 05 670 U1.
- the construction unit forms part of a window or door frame.
- the profile struts are mitred and plugged onto the legs of the corner connector, wherein the cross-sectional profile of the legs of the corner connector corresponds to the inner profile of the hollow profile legs and the legs have on its outside a sawtooth profile oriented transversely to the leg direction.
- the production of such constructed corner connectors is also relatively expensive.
- WO 2011/095380 A1 Another construction unit made of a corner connector and plugged hollow profile struts is shown in WO 2011/095380 A1 as a structural unit for a modular furniture system.

- An advantageous for the construction and the function training is that the two side parts in the region of the two legs of the corner connector in cross-section V-shaped to each other and are held near their mutually away longitudinal edges by means of the intermediate bridge portion at a distance, wherein on the side parts Connection receptacles and at the adjacent longitudinal edges of the bridge member are arranged with these engaged fasteners.
- a further advantageous embodiment consists in the fact that the adjacent to the V-tip longitudinal edge regions of the side parts are bent inwardly and supported on each other or that the adjacent to the V-tip longitudinal edge regions of the side parts mitteis another web-like bridge part are supported against each other.
- the first of the two alternative embodiments results in a particularly simple construction
- the second of the two alternative embodiments results in a particularly durable clamping effect, since the longitudinal edges (support and Scheitir skilled) press with high force to the inner wall area and with a suitable material pairing (such as steel sheet of the side parts and aluminum of the profile struts) in these dig.
- fasteners in the longitudinal direction of the legs are extended, short projections and the connection receptacles introduced in the side panels, directed in the longitudinal direction of the legs slots.
- Further advantages for the production are achieved in that the two side parts of the corner connector are identical and have a front and a back, wherein they are facing each other in the assembled state of the corner connector with their backs.
- the measures are also advantageous in that the two profile struts have the same cross section at least in the region of the wall of the cavity.
- Advantages for the machining of the construction unit and the external appearance result from the fact that the adjacent ends of the profile struts are cut precisely to each other mitred and in the assembled state directly adjacent to each other or indirectly bordering each other with the insertion of an intermediate piece.
- An advantageous embodiment for the structure and the function is that the boundary walls of the cavities along their longitudinal direction have mutually parallel support structures on which longitudinal edges or longitudinal edges of the corner connector are supported while exerting a supporting force.
