Abstract

Der Erfindung liegt die Aufgabe zugrunde, eine neuartige Anordnung einer Kühlmittelpumpe für Verbrennungsmotore zu entwickeln die einfach und robust aufgebaut ist, fertigungstechnisch einfach herstellbar, eine wesentlich einfachere Zugänglichkeit der Kühlmittelpumpe im Motorraum ermöglicht, und die zudem bei einheitlichen Arbeitsparametern selbst für unterschiedliche Motorplattformen einheitlich gestaltet (Universalpumpe) sein kann, dabei gleichzeitig den Verschleiß der Baugruppen, wie auch die Arbeitsgeräusche minimiert, eine Diagnosefähigkeit der Pumpenfunktionen ermöglicht, zudem das Gewicht der Kühlmittelpumpen, wie auch die Herstellungskosten der Kühlmittelpumpen wesentlich reduziert und mit minimalem Zusatzaufwand eine Elektrifizierung der Pumpenfunktionen ermöglicht. Die erfindungsgemäße Anordnung einer Kühlmittelpumpe zeichnet sich unter anderem dadurch aus, dass das Lagergehäuse (2) der Kühlmittelpumpe (1) innerhalb der Ölwanne (10) am Kurbelgehäuse (9) angeordnet ist, und im Lagergehäuse (2) neben der Kühlmittelpumpe (1) eine Ölpumpe (11) angeordnet ist, wobei die Antriebswelle (3) der Kühlmittelpumpe (1) zugleich auch die Antriebswelle (3) der Ölpumpe (11) ist, wobei auf der Antriebswelle (3) antriebsseitig neben den Flügelrad (7) der Kühlmittelpumpe (1) eine Pumpenwellendichtung (8) und ölpumpenseitig im Lagergehäuse (2), neben der Pumpenwellendichtung (8) der Kühlmittelpumpe (1) ein Leckagesammeiraum (12) mit einer Leckagebohrung (13) angeordnet ist, wobei Ölpumpenseitig neben dem Leckagesammelraum (12) eine Wellendichtung (14) angeordnet ist, und im Leckagesammeiraum (12) auf der Antriebswelle (3) eine Leckagepumpe (15) angeordnet ist. Die Erfindung betrifft die Anordnung einer Kühlmittelpumpe (1) für Verbrennungsmotore mit einer in einem Lagergehäuse (2) drehbar gelagerten Antriebswelle (3), einem auf dem strömungsseitigen Ende der Antriebswelle (3) in einer mit einer Ansaugöffnung (4) und einer Ausströmöffnung (5) versehenen Arbeitskammer (6) angeordneten Flügelrad (7), mit einer innerhalb einer Ölwanne (10) am Kurbelgehäuse (9) angeordneten Ölpumpe (11).
