  • the reader may read the signal transmitted by the indicator and wirelessly transmits the detected signal to a portable electronic device such as a tablet, smart phone carried by the operator to alert the operator when the tool is not located in its case or misalignment of the preloaded equipment transport, the portable equipment, or the truck lift assist and storage system.

  • the weight sensor may be used to detect the weight of a portable equipment unit 14 after it has been first loaded onto the platform and again after it has been reloaded onto the platform after having been unloaded. A difference between the initial weight and the weight after use of the unit 14 can be used to indicate whether all the equipment has been loaded back onto the unit 14, e.g., in the cases 19.
  • Weight sensors can also be used to detect the weight distribution on the platform which can be used to determine whether the unit 14 is located in the proper position on the platform. For example, weight sensors can be positioned to detect the weight in the outer portions of the platform, such as the four corners.
  • the control system 55 is configured to identify detected weights from the sensors that indicate offset positioning of the unit 14 and to generate an alert to indicate the offset positioning.
  • the detection system may include sensors 48 for detecting the presence of parts of the unit 14 at certain positions on the platform 22.

  • the control system 55 is configured to receive the signals from the sensors 48 and to determine whether the signals indicate that the unit 14 is properly positioned and to generate an alert if the signals indicate an offset positioning for the unit 14.

Abstract

La présente invention concerne un système de stockage et d'aide au levage de camion pour un véhicule, le système comprenant une unité d'équipement portable, une plateforme et un système de levage. Le système de levage comprend un ensemble bras de flèche fixé de manière pivotante à la plateforme et s'étendant vers le haut depuis la plateforme pour positionner une plaque de levage à une distance prédéterminée de la plateforme.
