  • the disadvantages of the cotton container is that raw meat has areas that contain blood or with possible bleeding from the slaughtered animal, the cotton fabric sticking to the meat in those areas.
  • the cotton wrap is removed, being irremediable that part of the cotton fabric is stuck to the meat. This causes the consumer to confuse this white tissue with fat from the meat, therefore, all cotton fibers contained in the meat must be scraped off.
  • Another drawback is that the use of cotton fabric accumulates dirt and gives a non-hygienic appearance to the meat thus wrapped.

  • This polypropylene material of the raw meat wrap offers the characteristics of being semi-waterproof, protecting the product from moisture that raw meat has and protecting it from moisture that comes from the outside, rain that it can receive when transporting from the truck of transport to the local point of sale. In turn, this material is porous for the passage of air and is a barrier against bacteria.

  • the wrapping object of the invention (1) will be made of polypropylene, in a material that is defined as nonwoven fabric. Abstract

L'invention concerne un emballage pour viande d'animaux sacrifiés qui se présente sous forme de housse tubulaire , formée par un tissu sans trame ni chaîne, dont les filaments sont assemblés par la chaleur ; ladite enveloppe protégeant le produit contre l'humidité produite par la viande crue elle-même et contre celle produite par l'extérieur, comme par exemple la pluie pouvant mouiller la viande au cours du transport.
