まず、一般的な情報処理システム10’の構成について説明する。図1は、一般的な情報処理システム10’の構成を示す図である。図1に示すように、一般的な情報処理システム10’は、紙幣を取り扱う現金処理端末200、現金処理端末200よりも上位の端末に相当する上位端末300、ATM監視装置400および勘定系システム600を備えている。
続いて、本発明の実施形態に係る情報処理システム10の構成について説明する。図2は、本発明の実施形態に係る情報処理システム10の構成を示す図である。図2に示すように、情報処理システム10は、情報処理装置100を備える点において、一般的な情報処理システム10’と主に異なる。特に、情報処理装置100は、ローカルネットワーク内の1または複数の現金処理端末200(以下、「現金処理端末群」と言う。)と基幹ネットワーク500との間に設けられる。
図3は、本発明の実施形態に係る現金処理端末200の機能構成例を示す図である。図3に示すように、本発明の実施形態に係る現金処理端末200は、通信部210、制御部220、記憶部230および読取部240を備える。
図8は、本発明の実施形態に係る情報処理システムの運用例を示す図である。図8に示すように、まず、顧客は、ATM200A及び/又は窓口用現金入出金機200Bを使って紙幣の入金や出金を行う。運用終了時など現金を精算する場合、金融機関の行員は、ATM200Aや窓口用現金入出金機200BからカセットCを抜き取り、抜き取ったカセットCを出納用現金入出金機200Cに装着する。
以上に説明したように、本発明の実施形態によれば、情報処理システム10は、情報処理装置100を備える点において、一般的な情報処理システム10’と主に異なる。特に、情報処理装置100は、ローカルネットワーク内の現金処理端末群と基幹ネットワーク500との間に設けられる。

Claims (8)
- ローカルネットワーク内の現金処理端末群と前記ローカルネットワークの外部に存在する外部ネットワークとの間に設けられる情報処理装置であって、
前記現金処理端末群を構成する現金処理端末により紙幣が読み取られて得られた記番号を前記ローカルネットワーク内において取得する情報取得部と、
前記記番号を記憶部に記憶させる記憶制御部と、
前記現金処理端末群を構成するいずれかの現金処理端末により紙幣が読み取られて得られた記番号が取得された場合、当該記番号と前記記憶部に記憶された前記記番号とが一致するか否かを判定する判定部と、
を備える、情報処理装置。 - 前記情報処理装置は、
前記判定部により前記記番号の一致が判定された場合、前記記番号を前記現金処理端末群を構成するいずれかの現金処理端末または前記ローカルネットワークとは異なるローカルネットワーク内の現金処理端末に通知する記番号通知部をさらに備える、
請求項1に記載の情報処理装置。 - 前記記番号通知部は、前記現金処理端末群を構成するいずれかの現金処理端末と前記ローカルネットワークとは異なるローカルネットワーク内の現金処理端末との中から選択された現金処理端末に通知する、
請求項2に記載の情報処理装置。 - ローカルネットワーク内の現金処理端末群を構成する現金処理端末であって、
前記現金処理端末と前記ローカルネットワークの外部に存在する外部ネットワークとの間に設けられる情報処理装置から、紙幣の記番号の重複が判定された場合における当該記番号を取得する記番号取得部と、
前記記番号取得部により取得された前記記番号が付された紙幣が所定位置に移動されるように制御する移動制御部と、
を備える、現金処理端末。 - 前記所定位置は、紙幣のリジェクト庫または紙幣の指定収納庫のいずれかである、
請求項4に記載の現金処理端末。 - ローカルネットワーク内の現金処理端末群を構成する現金処理端末と、前記現金処理端末と前記ローカルネットワークの外部に存在する外部ネットワークとの間に設けられる情報処理装置とを含む情報処理システムであって、
前記現金処理端末は、
紙幣の読み取りによって得られた記番号を通知する情報通知部を備え、
前記情報処理装置は、
前記現金処理端末により通知された前記記番号を前記ローカルネットワーク内において取得する情報取得部と、
前記記番号を記憶部に記憶させる記憶制御部と、
前記現金処理端末群を構成するいずれかの現金処理端末により紙幣が読み取られて得られた記番号が取得された場合、当該記番号と前記記憶部に記憶された前記記番号とが一致するか否かを判定する判定部と、
を備える、情報処理システム。 - 前記情報処理装置は、
前記判定部により前記記番号の一致が判定された場合、前記記番号を前記現金処理端末群を構成するいずれかの現金処理端末または前記ローカルネットワークとは異なるローカルネットワーク内の現金処理端末に通知する記番号通知部をさらに備える、
請求項6に記載の情報処理システム。 - 前記記番号通知部は、前記現金処理端末群を構成するいずれかの現金処理端末と前記ローカルネットワークとは異なるローカルネットワーク内の現金処理端末との中から選択された現金処理端末に通知する、
